But, there is no 38F sizing in USA brands like Wacoal, Vanity Fair, or Felina. American brands call the size 38F a 38DDD. And, in UK brands like Panache and Fantasie, their 38F size is one cup size larger than in USA and European brands. If you want a European 38F bra size in UK brands, you need to select a 38E. Put another way, an F cup size can be the same size as the cup size E and cup size DDD. This can be very confusing for women when trying to find their 38F cup size in US and UK brands. But, problem solved! HerRoom has the solution with our exclusive Universal Cup sizing™ (UCS®). Cup sizes DDD, E and F combined are equal to a UCS® D3 cup size. So, all you need to do is search 38D3 at HerRoom and you'll find all the bras, swimwear, shapewear and more that come in your size. If you are a 38F size in UK brands, you would search 38D4.
Every bra size has a set of sister sizes. These are bra sizes where either the band, cup or both are just one size up or down from 38F. For examples a 38F bra size has sister sizes of 36G (D4) and 40DD. So, these three bra sizes – 36G (D4), 38F and 40DD all represent bras with the same cup size (when you go up a band size, you need to go down a cup size to maintain your cup volume) but different band sizes. A 36G (D4) has a smaller band than a 38F, and a 40DD has a larger band than a 38F bra size. IF a 38F and UK 38E and 38DDD US bra sizes fit you, this generally means your under bust measurement is 31 to 32 inches, and your over bust measurement is around 42 inches.
Bra size 38F is 85F in Europe and Japan, 100F in France, and 16DDD or F in Australia.
