If the back edge of the cup is cutting into the armpit, you should go down a cup size. Sometimes it’s better to compromise on the “tacking” and coverage factor, than to have to cope with the cup digging into the underarm.

Freya Response: This sports bra is designed to give the ultimate support, and seaming is one of the most effective ways to provide shaping and support. The more you wash and wear the bra, the more it will conform to the body and the softer and more comfy it will get. Also a bit of fabric softener in the final rinse water will help to soften things up as well.

Happy the DK worked for you –it runs a bit fuller and the cups are stretchier than the 4002. If you still want to try 4002, I would recommend that you try the FF- or G-cup. 4002 provides a very specific fit, with non-stretch cups to ensure complete “motion control” with no bounce.
