Meet Cassandra āCassieā Edmark
Cassie Edmark grew up around brasābut shops for them like everyone else.
As the daughter of HerRoom founder Tomima Edmark, she had a front-row seat to the creation of a company built around helping women find the right fit. She watched her mother turn an idea into a business, solving problems many women didnāt even realize had solutions and creating a place where customers could finally feel understood.
As she got older, Cassie became involved in nearly every aspect of the company. From packing boxes during holiday rushes to working in customer service and learning firsthand what happens when a product doesnāt fit correctly, she gained experience across the business before eventually helping shape the customer experience behind the scenes.
What makes Cassieās perspective unique is that she approaches lingerie and swimwear not only as an industry insider, but as a customer with her own fit challenges.
Tall, relatively standard in clothing size, and very full-busted, Cassie understands firsthand how difficult shopping can be when proportions donāt align with traditional sizing systems. While she doesnāt fit into the plus-size category, standard sizing often fails to account for her shape, creating many of the same frustrations experienced by countless women.
Like many customers, sheās spent hours searching for products that work, navigating limited size availability, comparing styles, and falling down more than a few internet rabbit holes in pursuit of the right fit.
Sheās stood in fitting rooms feeling frustrated. Sheās experienced the challenges of swimsuit shopping as a teenager. And despite growing up with one of the worldās leading bra-fitting experts, she was convinced for years that she could figure everything out on her own.
Instead of simply telling her what size or style to wear, Tomima worked through the process alongside herāmeasuring necklines, comparing silhouettes, analyzing product photos, and using HerRoomās fit tools to predict what would work before anything was ordered.
Eventually, a little trial and errorāand a little humilityāproved that experience matters.
Sheās had days where getting dressed felt like solving a problem she never signed up for. And sheās also learned how to work with her bodyāand eventually, how to appreciate it.

Her goal isnāt to replace the rules of bra fitting.
Itās to help customers understand how those rules apply to real bodies, real wardrobes, and real-world situations.
