I've worn Wacoal bras for years. This does not fit like any of the other ones I've purchased. The band is extremely tight and the cup is fuller than any of my other ones. The oddest thing is that the cup fits, but the lace overlay is loose. Not good.

I had issues whereas my bra straps always slide off my shoulders, which was very annoying, especially where I wore sleeveless blouses. This style bra solved the problem completely and it is so comfortable. I will definitely re-order this bra.

It fits and is comfortable and is a good every day bra. It doesn't really give any *oomph* though, so if you really want to flaunt your assets, not a good choice. Does not fully tack, but still comfy. Does not make my ribs sore like others bras.

These bras are really nice, comfortable and long wearing. The reason that I did not give it a five-star rating is that it runs so small. I wear only Wacoal bras, have for decades. I wear a 36-C in all other designs with room to spare, but with this model I can barely hook the back with that size. So, I have to order this in a larger size. I have worn these bras for years as my "comfort" bra for travel and very long days, and for the first time had to return one. I hope this was just mislabeled at the factory, as the band was considerably shorter than my other bras in this style (including a fairly new one I just started wearing, so it hasn't stretched), and even the cups were smaller.

I love this bra. It fits perfect. I love the look, the comfort, the feel. The band is comfortable, the cups cover as they should, the straps don’t dig and the under wire doesn’t pinch or dig into my skin. It’s THE PERFECT BRA. I would like to have an even greater selection of colors. When Wacoal does come out with a new color I have to almost order immediately or they are out of my size. This bra is very small and tight in the band, and it doesn't loosen as other bras do over time. It loosens, but not much. That can be a pro or a con, depending upon your expectations. I wear a bra band size up from my normal size in this bra, I have gone up 2 band sizes and found the bra even more comfortable. Holds everything in her place firmly, which I like. Also somewhat minimizing without producing the dreaded "monoboob" look. If you need and like firm control, you can't do better than this bra--because it also lifts and separates. This would be an awesome bra if the cups were not so stretchy and were padded for modesty. For my size stretchy cups and straps are not a benefit in any way. This bra will require me to use covers under it as there is no concealing pad of any kind.

I wear a 34DD and have four but got the 36D this time because it was recommended due to the fact that the band runs small. It's more comfortable and not tight but it isn't snug enough under the cups so the girls don't have the lift they need. Very uncomfortable. The underwire goes all the way to the middle of my ribs. There are not many options in my size, so I feel like I have to keep it. I loved my other wacoal bras, but this one is horrible.

OK this bra looks sturdy in the picture and it looks like it would have some modesty. No. It does not. First of all this is my regular size and I could not even fasten it. Secondly it is super thin fabric, might as well not even wear a bra at all. So for me it's not worth it. If you are looking for thinner fabric it may be for you, but if not this isn't the bra for you. And it runs a bit small. So keep that in mind.

The advice to order a larger band size is spot on. I normally wear a 34I, and I ordered a 36H. It was SNUG the first time I wore it, and I had to use an expander just to hook it. Wacol 85567 This has been my go-to bra.for a long time.. This bra should replace an identical, worn out 85567. It is not identical. The space between the cups is wider and the apex of the cups is tilted toward the outside. these two very minor changes ruin the former youthful shape created by this bra.I hope this is an error and not an"Improvement" on this fine garment.

The picture shows the straps narrower in the front with widening and padded over the shoulder. Reality the strap is cut short in the front. The padded wider area actually falls below the collar bone area. Don't think its designed that way or if the manufacturer is cutting that section short to cut costs. All the bras I've received of this style came this way.

Really like this bra, ordered 4 more after trying. It is difficult to give any bra 5 stars but this comes close. No need to worry about nipple color showing through clothes since it is well lined, which can be an issue with shear bras and light colored clothes. This is extremely comfortable and a supportive bra. I have been using another brand which I loved. I saw this bra in my size and decided to try one. The description says to order a band size larger because it runs a little smaller. It fits just right. I kept my cup size the same. I'm glad I did! The most uncomfortable bra I have ever tried. I even went up a cup size because I am a little uneven, and it fit worse than my smaller size. I was constantly readjusting myself, and the underwire dug into my ribs, even after letting it out a hook. The back scratched my back and was very irritating, and it wasn't the tag.

Wacoal Response: Changing the size and washing the bra will allow for a softer fit. This style does run small in the band so you may feel less restricted when trying on in a different size. Try a 38H and make sure that all breast tissue is moved from the underarms into the cups and not sitting under any wires. I’ve purchased this bra before, but the straps were WAY too short. I even compared it to a previous purchased bra, and the older bra had longer straps. Since I am tall, the straps were digging into my shoulders and causing pain and left bright red marks and indentations.

I purchased 2 of these to get the free shipping, figuring I might return them.....After wearing this a couple of days it is a comfortable attractive bra. BUT when I first put it on it was really small, as some reviewers have mentioned.....I have the straps fully extended, and it really fit like a smaller size. I've noticed new bras stretch out (relax) in the band area, so I gave it a shot.....I like the bra now that I have washed it, worn it a couple of times, and I love the pale blue color. So if you're willing to be patient this is a great bra. Better for someone on the smaller side of band size....if you're a borderline 36/38 this won't fit. It's so weird. I have another Wacoal bra that is a cup size smaller than the one I ordered and, even though it's too small now, it still fit better than this one. I have had success with the 44C Wacoal Basic Beauty and I wanted to try other styles. The Awareness cups and band fit in the 44C. This is a very strong bra. It had some lift BUT my breasts pointed more outward than when I am braless. I also tried on the 42C and I pointed outward in that also even thought the band was too tight. I will say that in most other brands I wear a 44 B or 42 B Calico from NYC

I went for a fitting in order to get the right size. I bought several brands including this one. This bra is comfortable and long wearing. The band size runs tight so you may want to size up, normally a 40 I sized up to a 42, it's perfect. The cup size is another matter. Normally I wear a G cup but the cups run shallow so I tried the H which was too big for me but the G ran on the small side. I guess it's a matter if personal preference but this is a wonderful bra. This bra is very comfortable, somewhat of a minimizer but the band runs small so size up one size. If you normally wear a 40 band you might be more comfortable in a 42 band size. The cup size is slightly shallow so this is more difficult to adjust, I ordered a cup size larger then normal but it was somewhat too big, then I ordered my usual cup size and found it slightly too small, it depends on how you like the feel of the cup size and how your breasts fill the cups. Due to changes in my exercise and eating habits, I recently lost weight in my middle. This caused my band size to decrease, but not my cup size. Taking my measurements according to HerRoom's excellent instructions and referring to their Universal Sizing Chart, I'd moved from a 34DDD to a 32G. This left me with some anxiety because the style I'd previously worn for several years is not available in my new size. After several days of looking through the styles offered on HerRoom's website and comparing them, I nervously ordered four different styles of Wacoal bras. All four fit beautifully. I read the reviews and was really hoping that they were true, that this is a great bra. In fact, this is the best bra I've ever had in my 47 years of wearing one!! It really lifts, holds (so I can run!), & minimizes me so I look 10 lbs lighter. I bought this in light brown (mocha?) shortly before being diagnosed with breast cancer, and was able to wear it right up until my lumpectomy. It was the first Wacoal bra I’d ever encountered offered in large (over DDD) cups, and as a result the underwire did not break through the fabric or poke me in the armpit as it had when I’d worn too-small cups. It gives a nice silhouette and the straps don’t slip off my narrow shoulders. I am actually a 38I, so the 40H on the tightest hooks fits perfectly. Alas, since surgery I can’t wear underwires any more, and won’t be able to again until my breast heals after radiation. I am very pleased with the bras I purchased over the years. The wacoal bras are very comfortable my only disappointment is that on all three of the bras I purchased in the past have been thrown away before the underwire comes through fabric and there is so much life to the bras. Wacoal makes nice bras. I feel as if there are manufacture variations from when I buy this from a store compared to when I buy online at HerRoom. I feel the ones from HerRoom are significantly tighter.

Wacoal Response: Most women fluctuate in size at least once per year therefore it is important to get re-sized in your local lingerie boutique every year. Similarly, it is important to keep in mind that not every bra style fits the same so you may be a 34DD in one bra and a 36D in another. Similarly the fabric color can change the sizing of a bra, darker fabrics tend to tighten and restrict stretch more than lighter colored fabrics, especially black bras. Try a 36D and if that does not work you may want a style with more "comfortability" features like Basic Beauty Contour Spacer Bra 853192 with a wide stretch satin band, comfort straps, and lightweight/stretchy spacer foam cups. I like the coverage and support, but the underwires seemed to stick out and kept digging into my underarm. I would try to arrange tissue on the side and bring toward front to try and eliminate side fat from pushing out the underwire which would then push into underarms. I ended up taking wires out and it feels much better, but loses the ability to support as well as before, naturally. I was fitted at Nordstrom's, which is why I bought this bra. I usually boycott underwires, but in the dressing room they felt fine. Sitting down causes problems. Losing weight and firming up would be best solution, but until then, I need a bra to fit, feel and look good.

Wacoal Response: It sounds like you may have a shorter upper torso and thus would need bras with a shorter underwire. I would recommend either adjusting your size here to a 36G (more cup capacity for your tissue to fit comfortably in while keeping the band snug, a 38G would be too big) or trying a more paired down style like Clear and Classic Full Figure Underwire Bra 855244. Both have the mesh cup cover that lays flat under clothing, only 855244 has a shorter center gore and less coverage which is ideal for a petite frame. You'll love the center pull straps as well! I received two of these and love them. Comfortable without binding, the straps don't fall down, either. Both bras fit perfectly and hold the 'girls' just where I need them to be, without looking padded or false. However, I am petite and the top of the cups do peek out of scoop neck top. I've had to pin the shoulders of the scoop neck top to the bra straps. Not a big deal, but other petite women of this cup size should be aware this may happen to them with this bra. The WACOAL Awareness bra has been my go to for the past 5 years. Although I have tried the Bodysuede bra for full figures, time and time again I come back to this one. I love the wide straps that really hold me in place all day with no fiddling around. As someone who has been amply endowed since 18, there is simply nothing worse that sliding straps bringing more attention to the fact that the girls have a mind of their own. How to balance little shoulders with big girls has been a challenge my whole life. But this bra gives me the confidence to know that I am smoothly shaped and predictably put together, even in clingier knits. You won't find a better bra on the market and only wish there would be more colors that ran up to my size. And they wash up beautifully- just don't let your husband decide to "help" with the laundry! The coverage was too full for me (and that never happens). If you're VERY modest, this might be a good bra for you. The straps were also crazy wide. This is a wonderful supportive bra. My breasts are very settled, and this bra lifts them up and makes them look more like they did 20 years ago. I usually wear a 32DDD, but the band on this bra is Very snug, so the 34DD is the most comfortable fit. I had this bra quite a few years ago, and thought I would try it again. I bought it as a bra for exercise for the support. I feel it is much more attractive now. The material used to be a heavy brocade that I thought looked too old lady. I have been wearing this bra in a 36DD because that was the closest fit from the department stores. Now that I have it in 34G I love it . A solid, sturdy, supportive minimizing bra with what I think is spacer fabric. I was incorrectly fitted in a DDD and then a G cup in a department store, but changed to H when those started causing neck and back pain. The center gore lies flat (this is the only bra in which that happens for me), and the fit is great. This has been my go to bra for years, but it's worn out and time for me to get a new one. I love the Wacoal brand. I've been a large busted girl all my life and bras have always been and issue. Not just finding comfortable ones but finding ones that are pretty. I was professionally fitted at a Macy store so I knew exactly what to order. The price was fair and I appreciated free shipping. I mistakenly ordered the wrong one first.(neglected to compare model numbers) After $5 shipping to me, then $5 to ship back and a refused refund (I removed the tags) I ended up donating to Goodwill. This has been a go-to bra for me since it first came out. In the past year or two, I have returned two of them , one because something invisible protruded painfully from a back edge, and most recently because the hook area was inadequately padded and dug in painfully (a second unit received in the same order was fine). This is not my first Wacoal Bra. A few years ago I was fitted with a Wacoal Bra and have never turned back. I like the quality of this bra. This is one of the most uncomfortable bras I have ever worn. The wide straps do not go all the way over my shoulder and where the front part of the strap is sewn into the back part it digs into buy skin. The only good thing about his bra is it is pretty. I'm pretty sure this bra was advertized as a T-shirt bra (since that was what I was looking for) and I would not call it that at all. However, I love this bra for under shirts. It does have a minimizer effect and is great for those blouses which pooch between the buttons with other bras. It did fit rather snugly and I thought it would be uncomfortable but I was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable it was even at the end of a long and active day. Vanessa from Claremore, OK

I've been wearing this bra for years and it's the best I've found. I need a bra that doesn't show seams through my t-shirts while teaching. This bra holds me in place through inversions and backbends and is comfortable through out. The only thing I'd change is that they go back to the slightly narrower straps that the bra used to have. I'm not crazy about the wide straps that the bra now has. This bra also lasts for years and stands up to all that machine washing. vickie from boise/ID/USA

I was very excited to receive this one- glowing reviews, and I love the colour. BUT- it fits small. I normally wear a 36DDD but while the band is close to okay, the cup size is definitely smaller. I am going to reorder in a larger cup size to see if that helps, since "the cup runneth over". I'm hoping a larger size will work.

Great bra for me. My breasts sit 2 or 3 inches higher in my clothing than they have been. Straps are wide and don't curl. I'm comfortable for many hours . . . no digging anywhere. Texture does not show through clingy clothing. Love the cocoa color, and bought the black and beige as well. Happy camper

Absolutely the best bra I have ever worn. I have not had a bra this comfortable since high school and a smaller cup size. I had been wearing it for several weeks when I realized I was pulling it down on the sides purely out of habit- they were actually staying in place and not poking me in the underarms. I love the way this bra minimizes me so that I can wear button-front blouses. It's comfortable and fits perfectly...though trying it on is essential. I typically wear a 38G but needed the 40H in this one. It's also a bit of a chore to get this one on. Don't be discouraged! Once you've found your size, you'll want this one in every color. The best bra I've ever had. Have suffered from shoulder pain from lack of support from other bras, but not anymore. Being a larger cup size, I've rarely had pretty bras. This bra has beautiful colors. The bra straps can slip from their original place after a bit of wearing. I've just hand sewn them in place. I've had another style bra that had little rubbery ridges that were meant to keep the bra straps from slipping. A good idea to try and fix that problem, but uncomfortable to wear. I have large, heavy breasts and have worn the wrong size for years since I couldn't find 36H so, the best thing about this bra is that it fits! The straps are great as they are very wide and smooth out a little bit the "furrows" I have in my shoulders from years of wearing skinny straps. I am having a little trouble adjusting to the underwire since it sits right on my rib bones & the only thing that I'm used to having sit there is the bottom part of my breast since I always had too small of a cup, but I'm getting used to that now. Another benefit though - I think my posture is improving as I was always trying to "lean in" to my bra to try to keep everything inside & now that I don't have to I can stand up straighter.
