This bra is not for me. On the positive side, the cups are supportive and the back band is nice. The bra is pretty, too. However, it is so uncomfortable that it is painful. The very thin wires dig into my underarms and side breast. They slip, too.

Wacoal Response: This is pretty perplexing as this is such a comfy bra especially, for her size. The underwire in this bra is shorter specifically so that it doesn’t dig into the sides, which is what she says is happening. It could be a couple things: she is carrying a good amount of breast tissue on the sides and should really be in a style that offers more structure with seams. A seamed style would help pull the breast tissue forward and keep her from spreading out under the arms. Additionally, she needs to make sure she is pulling herself up and forward into the cup. I'd first purchased this bra in a local department store after trying on ten (or so) options, and of course, they had only one in stock in my size! So I was very happy to find it available here. I especially like the back-smoothing construction with less-constricting elastic along the bottom edge, and the soft cups that give a natural look. The straps can be shortened enough to accommodate those of us with shorter shoulder-to-bust measurements, plus the sides are designed so that the underwire doesn't poke high up into the underarm area--not a feature every underwire bra does well. The material is very smooth, and sort of sleek--sexy, in a subtle way. It feels true to size, is exceptionally comfortable, and seems very well constructed, My new favorite! Since Wacoal discontinued my favorite bra 855239 I have been desperately searching for a replacement. I have tried probably 30 bras, both Wacoal and other makes with no luck. This new Wacoal style is IDENTICAL in fit to 855239 ( I tried my old bra on top of it to check), with the added advantage of no seams in the cup so it gives a smooth line under tshirts and thinner materials.
