much too small in cup, band and straps. I have other wacoal in same size that fit perfectly in all aspects

Very comfortable and supportive, with wider straps that aren't too stretchy. The support isn't from the cups, though, so I especially like that this size has four rows of hooks. Three are simply not enough. I wish more styles had four at this size.

Sizing inconsistency among Wacoal models?
I ordered a 44C of Wacoal 855192 and of Wacoal 855303 and the 855192 model was so tight that I had to use an extender. But the 855303 band fit fine. I'm returning it and ordering another of the 855303.
HerRoom Response: Your comment has been sent to Wacoal for a response.
Wacoal Response: All bras can fit a little different, based upon the materials and design. Basic Beauty is a legacy (older) style that fits firmer, due to the fact that the band is where most all support comes from in a t-shirt style. In Back Appeal, the band is reinforced with the micro-thin spacer to help with back smoothing and support. Over the past couple years, our newer styles are more forgiving and offer more of a comfort fit. If she kept wearing the extender a few times with Basic Beauty, it would have relaxed and been more comfortable. Basic Beauty is more bra overall, Back Appeal is designed to be less bra especially under the arm area. For a 44C, it’s probably a better option.”

I tried two sizes in this bra. I wear a 36 in most other brands. The band on this was so tight I couldn't get into it even when I went up to a 38. It seemed like a nice quality. But it was so uncomfortable it was not worth trying again.
HerRoom Response: It is noted that you hafe been purchasing and leaving positive reviews for bras that are 38 and 40 in the band, and 2 cup sizes larger than this one.

It's ok, but if you have to wear it for more than a few hours, the under wire really starts to dig into your under arm. So I want be purchasing it again.
HerRoom Response: It is noted that you were happy with the fit of a bra with a cup size 2 cups larger. This is possibly why you are realizing digging - The underwire is not large enough.

This has been a longtime go-to for me but in the last couple of years the quality seems to be slipping. I wash them in bags on gentle but the seams start to fray quickly and the last one I got started to pill.

This style has changed. I bought it as had only 3 hooks and now it has four. It is also lined which my other one was not. HerRoom was prompt in processing order and sending it out.
HerRoom Response: Wacoal more than any other brand never makes a design change once they put an item in he market. I see that a 40DD has 3 hooks and a 40DDD has 4 hooks according to our hook count on our size chart.

Comfortable--bit tight to begin with, but after 5 months stretched out considerably. When I first bought it I had to turn the bra around to hook it, then laboriously turn it around into place. After a couple of weeks that was not needed. Now, after 5 months, it is so stretched that I have to hook it on the 2nd or 3rd row. The support is definitely not there either. Not a bad bra, but doesn't last

Almost the most important thing for me in a bra is having straps that don't slip off my shoulders. Good support and visual appeal are next. This bra accomplishes all three things. It is a bit hard to fasten at first but I found it becomes easier as it molds to my body and I get a "feel for it". Fit is spot on for me.

The perfect bra for me. I went through this website and did all the self-tests about what kind of bra would fit me best. It does all the things it says it would. Because they are expensive, I buy one at a time as I can afford them
.** When I first put the first one one, it was so tight that I was discouraged**. I take extra special care of it and I save it for special occasions. But now I've worn it a bit and it has stretched a bit, so now it doesn't feel too small. Wacoal bras are great, but their largest size is a bit snug for me.

I originally purchased this in my size - which, depending on the brand is 40-42 G. I ordered the 42 G and it was very tight in the band. For a minute I thought it was an irregular item. I sent it back and got the 44G which fits very comfortably. The cups are a little odd to me, almost feels like they point your breasts forward. Well, it did the job. I don't know if I will be purchasing this again.

I have worn Wacoal bras since I was introduced to them years ago. This is the first time I have ever bought one where the fit was not consistent with other same size Wacoal bras I've pruchased. Not sure if it was miss marked or just a significant style difference. Quality is everything you want in a higher priced bra.
HerRoom Response: This cup does run smaller compared to the normal fit of Wacoal.

Pro, this is the most comfortable bra I've ever owned. Con, this is the most difficult bra to get in and out of. The trade off is almost worth it. Though to really be so, I'd like for it to be more supportive. It's ok support wise, but for the challenge of getting it on and off, I wish it was perfectly comfortable and supportive. This is still a good bra while worn.

It is very comfortable, and it is a minimizer type bra. I like that it minimizes, but it really provides fuller coverage than I would like such that shirts I wear it with cannot show any cleavage. Perhaps because I'm short. Great fit for size and fits well on the sides and straps.

This is a great bra and I am going to buy several for my "most days" use. I do measure at a 32D and the 32DD is what fit me. Thanks to the fitter's guide for the tip that the cup runs a little small. The 32DD fits me perfectly, is comfortable, and I can wear this under just about anything. Very good support.

Terrible shape. It made my breasts look flattened and smooshed to the sides. Also, very tight around the back.
Wacoal Response: This bra has more minimizing qualities which can redistribute breast tissue to the sides to reduce the bust profile. You would be better suited for a more flexible fitting bra that pushes tissue inward and upward like 855223 or 855257.

Straps seem too short. Cups are binding underneath my arms.
Wacoal Response: This style is meant to provide ultimate lift and support without seams and as such can feel firm on the body. The straps are also not fully adjustable. You would be better suited for style 855213 in size 42DDD for a softer fit or 855225 in 44DD for the shorter sides.

While I LOVE the straps on this style (one of the things I like about Wacoal), the bra fits too close under my arms. This makes it very uncomfortable and irritating.
Wacoal Response: The cups on this style are full coverage and very tall to accommodate full figures, if you have a shorter top half and longer bottom half you need a style with a shorter frame. Try 855213 in a 38H or 855223 in a 40G instead.

I really like this bra, however, the reason I gave it only 4 stars is because the straps are so dang short. It has nothing to do with my full size bust or figure. The straps are just way too short. The band fit is perfect, the cup size is perfect, the bra stays in place which I absolutely love and the support is good. It's those dang short straps that frustrate me...ugh!

I wear several different styles of Wacoal bras, including the Basic Beauty Contour bra. I ordered the same size as I wear in the other bras from the same Wacoal line. But this bra, when it arrived, was more than a little too small. I could not fasten it. At all. I do not understand why bras from the Basic Beauty line, that look virtually identical could have such varied fit. Extremely disappointing.

I've gone back and forth between this bra and the Awareness bra and am finding I prefer this one for comfort. I got fitted during an event and wear this bra with one size larger band and one size smaller cup for best fit. The wider band really supports and takes the pressure off the straps having to lift. My only negative comment is that this is a difficult bra to clasp!

Incredibly supportive, FULL coverage. I mean full. I did have a little trouble getting the bra on and clasping. There is nothing showing, no cleavage, no armpit bulge, no nothing, honestly I've never had so little cleavage with my 38G. Which is fine for everyday wear and under tanks and tees. Nice supportive band, thick straps and no digging. Perfect for everyday. Will be buying more.

Lots of coverage, nice back smoothing, leaves underarm bulge, straps are set as loose as they can be but still cut into front arm pits when I reach forward seem to be getting used to it though. Not as much lift as I would like. No straps slipping off! Almost seems like a minimizer. Holds things in place.

I got this bra specifically because I'm tired of my straps falling down. I've worn it and never had to think about slipping straps once. The cup size does run a bit small - next time I think I'll go up a size. But it fits well, gives good support, and NO SLIPPING STRAPS.

This is an excellent bra and one of the more comfortable that I've worn, all this while supplying excellent support and providing full coverage. A little lace trim and it would be perfect!

Good fit, supportive and nice shaping. Attractive considering its full coverage. Lightweight and comfortable for the level of support and coverage provided. The band does dig in slightly, but that's a common issue for us shorter woman.

My old bra style was discontinued, so I tried these. I love them! The fit is true to size, they give wonderful support without cutting in to my shoulders and I really like the way the straps fit across my back. Very comfortable! I will be purchasing the rest of the colors that I did not already order. I also ordered the panties that match these bras and they are fantastic! I am a very happy customer!

Due to changes in my exercise and eating habits, I recently lost weight in my middle. This caused my band size to decrease, but not my cup size. Taking my measurements according to HerRoom's excellent instructions and referring to their Universal Sizing Chart, I'd moved from a 34DDD to a 32G. This left me with some anxiety because the style I'd previously worn for several years is not available in my new size. After several days of looking through the styles offered on HerRoom's website and comparing them, I nervously ordered four different styles of Wacoal bras. All four fit beautifully, and this bra is one of my favorites! Thank you, HerRoom, for your many in-depth tutorials, glossary of terms, and videos!

This is a great bra if you like full support and coverage. The straps are also made in a U-shape in the back, so they won't slip off narrow shoulders like I have. Because of this though this bra is not one to wear with boat necks or scoop necks with a wide scoop, as the straps may show in the front. I really like it for everyday wear and it's a new favorite for me.

The size was right but there was a lot of extra material in the front where the nipples are. Could totally tell under clothing too. Will obviously not buy again.
Wacoal Response: First re-measure yourself to make sure your size is correct. Visit HerRoom's Bra Fit Center for many resources to find your best bra fit. If your size is correct, this is a full coverage bra with a high neckline, so for a lot of women who are shallow on top they will not be full enough to fill up the top of the cups. Or it’s possible that you are wearing a band too large. I would suggest sizing down to a 42G or try another style with more stretch in the fabric that molds to your natural shape like 857210. This style runs full in the cup so size down to a 44DDD.

This bra digs into me where the ends of the underwire are underneath the armpit. Also the separation between the two cups in the front is very high so it tends to stick out of the top most blouses or shirts.
Wacoal Response: Easy fix! Make sure your size has not changed by measuring yourself with a tape measure at home. Start with the band by measuring the circumference of your ribcage (make sure it stays parallel to the ground and fits snug) and adding two inches to that number. For example, if you measured 40 inches you would wear a 42. Anytime you decrease the band size you must increase your cup size so the tissue can fit into the cup and not underneath the wire. If the wires are poking then we size up in the cup to get the underwire behind your breast tissue (42H). For a shorter framed bra you may want to try Awareness Full Figure Seamless Bra 85567, it has paired down wires for a shorter upper torso.

I assumed that stretchy molded cups meant that this bra was a contour bra. It is not. It is only made of thin fabric and ships completely flat.
Wacoal Response: Most people are not aware that a molded cup does not necessarily mean T-Shirt or Contour (foam padding). It simply means the fabric was placed on a mold to form the round shape of a cup. Try the spacer fabric option of this bra Basic Beauty Contour Spacer Bra 853192. It provides exactly what you are looking for, stretchy foam contour cups that are thick enough to provide shape and modestly while not adding bulk or volume. The fabric breathes too and feels great against the skin!

Before being fitted in a department store I never had a bra that fit. The difference in this bra is that it is narrower between shoulders making it fit properly for those of us with narrow shoulder. It doesn't go under the arm as far so, isn't as likely to chaff. I bought a cheaper bra yesterday because the store that carries Wacoal bras went out of business and the one that replaced them doesn't carry Wacoal., but after a few minutes of wearing it I am on this site buying one that will fit and be comfortable. The quality of the Wacoal bras are worth the difference in price. Wish I could buy locally.

This is a very nice bra with good features. It was too small for me not because of the sizing. I used the bra size calculator and measured 34DDD which is what I ordered. I ended up going to a local department store and was measured by a bra consultant. There I tried on about 20 bras and bought 2 of these in a size 34H. I never knew how a bra was really suppose to fit. I would encourage every lady to be measured personally in a variety of bras to find her true size. All bras do fit differently. I like the suggestions for bra types and the added comments about each bra that are given. Her Room does a great job in trying its best to fit you properly. I wish more bras with "kicked in" straps were available in my size. I will continue to shop Her Room now that I know my size. The selection in the stores is very limited. I do wish Her Room offered free returns since I could wear either a 32H or a 34 H. I will read closely the comments and reviews to help me determine which size would work better in my case.

At first I thought this was going to be too small, but I think that was due to the firmness of the material. I bought two of these and they have been my go-to bras ever since. The straps stay put, the coverage is full but not so much that I can't wear tanks and lower necklines. <3 Wacoal!

I have very narrow shoulders and this is the only bra that fits my size needs that the straps actually stay put! This is the second one I've purchased and won't be the last.

It's pretty good. The fabric has a bit more give/stretch in the cups, band, and straps than I would like, so it's less supportive than I prefer. I usually wear it with a fitted camisole so that I feel more secure. I bought my normal size, in which I am usually on the smallest closure; if I were to order again, I might try down a band size because of the amount of give.
HerRoom Response: If you are using the tightest hooks on a new bra that most likely means that you should go down a band size, and therefore go up a cup size. Next time try purchasing a 32DDD, this should resolve the issue of the bra being to loose.

Does a good job at containment although I wouldn't go so far as to say these are the most comfortable bras I've ever worn. The straps taper toward the middle of the back which keeps the straps from falling off the shoulders. Style is pretty utilitarian, not too exciting or pretty.

I am 57 years old, and finally found a bra that fits me. I followed the instructions in the Bra Fit Guide and discovered my true size and Wacoal bras! I'd never heard of the brand, but ordered this one according to the recommendations made for me. My breast volume is very asymmetrical and the Wacoal Basic Beauty full figure bra is stretchy enough to accommodate both breasts comfortably without overflow on one side and emptiness on the other. The underwire support structure is carefully engineered for an impeccable fit and is lined with the right fabric choice. So comfortable that I forget I'm wearing a bra at all. I can't tell you what a relief it is to have the search end for a bra that fits.

This is such a comfortable bra -- nothing frilly or sexy, just great support and comfort. It really is my favorite bra. It would be a five-star review, except for the fact that after 2 washings and wearing it twice, the lace edging has already begun to unravel along the top of the cup area.

Per measurements and fitting suggestions on this site, I ordered a 36DDD. The cups were too large, so much that they fit wide dug into the front of my arm and I felt that the band was too snug, so then ordered a 38D, which was more comfortable, but gave me muffin top cups, especially my somewhat larger breast. Because I desperately needed a comfortable new bra and found Wacoal to be a good fit for me in the past (a few years 10+ pounds ago), I just wasn't ready to give up. I didn't want to pay another return cost and still maybe get the fit wrong, so took an afternoon from work and went to a department store and tried on a couple other different sizes and even other brands and came back to this Basic Beauty 855192 style for comfort and a 36DD for the best fit. I do not like shopping in malls, fighting crowds and traffic, so will be happy to order this style and size from HR because they have super fast service and offer attractive sales from time to time. Since I haven't laundered and given this bra a regular workout, I will reserve the 5th star at this time.

I really like this bra. It is true to size, and the straps don't peek out of my sleeveless blouses because they are inset a bit in the back. The band under the arms is wide, helping to reduce that underarm bulge. I bought the nude color, but I am thinking of adding a color to my next one!

Very comfortable. I like that it has a double layer of spandex like material and inserted on the inside of the two layers is a piece of material that goes from the bottom of the bra and wraps around the outside of the bra and then goes up to the top( I hope you can understand what I'm trying to describe). It holds the girls in and prevents them from spreading out. This will be the bra I purchase for everyday.

They must have sent me the wrong bra b/c it was the most uncomfortable bar I have ever worn. I always get another style but tried this 'similar' one b/c they carry it in black. It had no lining around the side wires and it wasn't molded in any way. I had to change bras after 2 hours b/c it hurt so bad.

Though I measured carefully, a smaller size did not fit. When I received this bra, I initially had problems fastening the hooks in the back. On closer exam, the hooks were very tightly closed and I opened them slightly to resolve the fastening issue. The bra fits but the underwires are uncomfortable. I will continue to wear it but will probably not order another Wacoal

This bra appeared to be really well made. I didn't care for the fit, and it was a cup size too large (my fault, not the bra's) It smashed me completely flat against my chest, no forward projection AT ALL. Those who want a real minimizer may like this bra- it definitely minimizes! The band was a full size too small. I wear a 38 in other brands, but could barely get this fastened in the outside hook. Definitely size up one band size. The wires came up very high under my arms and in front, way too high for me, but those of you who want high underwires will like this. So for me, the bra was a 1 star, but those of you who like the features I mentioned may find it a 5 star bra.

Band fits around, but this didn't mention "minimizer" in the descrlption -- it is. Wasn't looking for a minimizer. Another issue that makes this not my favorite, is that while it fits around while standing, unlike the other bra I purchased this one will roll a bit. Also the underarm sides aren't very high, so there's a little spill over. I'm losing weight, so this should correct itself soon enough, but until then, it's my bra to wear while the others are in the laundry.

The correct size for me in Wacoal, I now know, is a 36H, but the 36G in this bra seems to fit perfectly in the dressing room. But because so few stores actually carry bras in my size and because I can never find more than one or two to try on at all, I once bought 4 of these at once in the 36G. I get zero lift with this bra, and it's not remotely figure-flattering on me (I'm hourglass shaped). I've also learned that I need a bit more padding to help take the pressure of the weight of my breasts off my neck and shoulders. This bra worked for a while, but I'll never buy one again. Also? I wear really modest tops, but I don't happen to own a single shirt with a neckline high enough to conceal this bra. It comes up ridiculously high, almost to my neck.

This bra was advertised as having a "molded" cup, which I took to mean a "Tshirt" type cup. It was not molded in any way, and my nipples showed through. Not what I expected. I returned it.
HerRoom Response: This bra is a molded bra meaning molds were used in production. There are no seams like a cut and sew bra. In the future look for a bra with "Contour" cups in the description like style 853192, which is a similar style with contour spacer cups .

I have worn the wrong size bra for years until I finally had a proper fitting in a department store. The fitter found this bra for me. Wow. It fits PERFECTLY. I came to HerRoom and bought two. Now I'm going back to get another color.
If you have large, pendulous breasts this bra will transform you. I look 20 years younger!!

This is a very well fitting bra with the exception of the straps. I have never had a bra that I didn't have to shorten the straps some but this bra is short on the length of the straps. I would like to let them out at least another inch but I can't.

These are the best bras I've ever owned. I had to try 3 different sizes to find just the right one, but even the not-quite-right sizes are so comfortable, I kept them, too! They go on tight, so I have to do the hook in front then turn it around trick, but otherwise there is not one single element of this bra that irritates any part of me. I don't even notice my bra anymore and never need to make adjustments throughout the day like every other bra I've ever worn. I'm going to order more then throw out all my irritating old bras. Yes, they're pricey, but the comfort is absolutely worth every penny!

I am more than pleased with this bra. I bought 3 and will buy more. The fit is excellent. The construction gives support all the way around; it gives the girls a lift that makes one look years younger and more slim. The cups are without seaming, so this is definitely a tee shirt bra, as well as any other shirt. As a massage therapist, I am constantly moving during sessions. I have worn this bra all day and it stays put, the girls stay where they belong, without any tugging, pulling or readjustments. The communication and little personal touches by Her Room made me feel as if I had shopped at an expensive boutique. Loved it! Have and will continue to recommend and shop often.

I usually wear a Playtex and the cups on the same size bra are just right but the cups on this one are too small. The seam that goes over the top of my breasts causes a "double boob" I have lost some weight since I bought my last Playtex so I was surprised this one seems so much smaller.

This is a really nice bra. I don't like padded bras, this one is lightly lined in the satin material. Nice fit on cups in DD, just wish one thing, higher sizes. I would have ordered a 46 in this bra. Wacoal makes a nice bra. The straps stay in place, the back is smoothing and the over bra is just pretty. Wish for more sizes and more color choices is why I rate a 4-star.

I had 7 bras in 4 different sizes so I decided to get fitted at a local department store. I am so glad that I did. I purchased this bra for work and it is amazingly comfortable. I'm a nurse and work 12 hour shifts. This bra stayed put and so did my breasts! I didn't have to fumble with it at all! It was very comfortable all day.

Excellent bra, very supportive. I like that it's not padded and thus cooler to wear in the hot summer months. I do wish there was a little more fabric around the underwires though, as they tend to dig into my ribs after a day of sitting at the office. Also I wish it was a bit lower cut and would allow for lower necklines. Really those are just minor complaints though, as it's become one of my favorites to wear.

I love this bra! The straps are located closer to the center of the back, providing more back support and ensuring that the straps will never slip off your shoulders or show under a sleeveless top. The only thing that would improve it would be if the company would produce a lined version.

Wacoal is a great, reliable brand. This bra is a perfect basic, with excellent support. The fit is very good. I was afraid it was too small at first due to the firmness (haven't had a 3-hook model for a while), but checked it out in the mirror, and it's just as it should be. I sometimes have trouble with 'quad-boob', where the cup cuts across the top of my breasts, but this bra has just enough room. If you're on the fence size-wise, I would suggest going up one.
Love the hot pink!

I had to send the first one back which I ordered in my usual size. It was too tight. Then I read on the website that cups were running small. The one resent, the 36G, did fit better but I don't like it nearly as well as I do other Wacoal bras I've had. However, the straps are comfortable and it does lift.
Wacoal is constantly making strides to improve our bra design. This style has been on the best seller list for many years. It sounds like you need more support but enjoy the design of the Basic Beauty. Style Wacoal Casual Beauty Underwire Bra 855247is the same frame. Horribly thin shear fabric, makes nipple way to visible for any kind of non-bulky shirt. This is not a bra you can wear under a t-shirt or any form fitting shirt. The band was also not a true fit. I wear a 34 band and this one was incredible tight. I thought it might be the price tag, so I took it off to see and nope - band is just too tight - more of a 32. Cups fit well but they were so shear there is absolutely no way I could wear this bra under anything but a heavy sweater. Disappointed because the reviews were so good.
Wacoal Response:
The Basic Beauty underwire is just that an underwire. It does not feature contour cups that prevent the apex area (nipple area) to show. We have others that are listed as a T-shirt bra such as Wacoal La Femme Contour Bra 853117. This style has fully adjustable straps, contour cups and fits a G cup beautifully.

Not for petite women! I was looking for an unpadded seamless bra for my larger cup size (38G), and though the cups fit really well on this bra, the centerpiece came up to just a couple of inches below my neck! 4 inches wide, no way I could keep it even though it fit in the cups because it could be seen with almost any neckline.

This great bra does everything I needed. The straps stay up and it centers and slightly lifts your breasts to help with a youthful profile. The bra seems to be of good quality. My disappointment is that the straps are not elastic in the back and I thought the description clearly indicated that they were. Please try to give complete details of every part of the bra. If I had known the straps were totally rigid, I would have looked for a different style. Now, I am keeping an item that is not very comfortable simply because I am just worn out from trying to find the right bra for me.

Wonderful bra. I had a problem with sizing though. I have been wearing a 38DDD in all my bras , but the cups seemed too small. After reading the bra fitting comments, in which it was suggested I go down a band size and up a cup size, I remeasured my rib cage. I got 35 1/2"
as my measurement. After measuring again for my cup size, I
ordered the 36H. When I tried it on,I could not even fasten the band, it was so tight. I am wearing it now with a band extender, & re-ordering the bra in 38H. I'll see what happens! But the bra is beautiful, & with the band extender , gives great support and lift.

I hate bras with a passion. Largely because I haven't found bras that fit even with a fitter or measuring instructions and, let's face it, all bras are not created equal- a 44dd is not a 44dd. I used the "know your breasts" feature and took your recommendation for this bra. Came in the mail yesterday and I put it on today and the thing fits- it does not move!!!! I am so amazed, I have never had a bra fit like this in my nearly 50 years of trying to wear a bra (and ripping it of the moment I get home) The reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is that I still have an issue with the underwire poking me under the arm. I'm not sure what to do with that. I may have to take it out and see if I can wear it that way. All in all - I am amazed.

I have other Wacoal bras in this exact size but this bra runs small. The cup does not fit like an H at all. I will have to return my purchase. As far as the quality, with any Wacoal bra the quality is top notch but if the bra doesn't fit you can't wear it!

This bra, by far, is the MOST comfortable bra I've ever worn. I had been purchasing elomi brand, which is good, but this is better. Full coverage, great support and no pain from straps. I have since purchased 2 more and recommend this style for full figured women.

This bra fits comfortably. I am an in between cup size H/sometimes F (I find that cup size F works better with demi-style bras, H is better for the more full-figure style bras like this bra) I love the satiny feel of the material.

Well, at first I thought that I would need to return this bra since the band was very tight (and 36 is loose on me with other brands), but I loosened the shoulder straps and got it hooked and now I love it. Have worn it several times and it is now easier to put on. Very comfortable and holds the girls out front but not pointy. Nice bra.

Runs small, it's comfortable enough but the straps fall down and I get 'lace rash' from the lace turning under on the bottom of the bra. It also 'squeaks' when you move (the sound of the underwires on the bra fabric).

This past year I lost quite a bit of weight and have been looking for new bras that held up my aging breasts. Others haven't, but amazingly this bra does!
I'm simply amazed. Plus it's comfortable in the straps. (Others kept falling off my shoulders!) AND I love the new color!
I think I may order another!

I tried twice...42G and 42H. I wear a 42FF in elomi. I like the way elomi lifts and separates, where the underwire stays close to my body between my breasts not even close with this bra. It holds me up, but pushes me together so the wire sticks out and shows under my shirt. I think it's probably a good bra, but the fit is way off and it doesn't go any larger. So I have to return them. Order up on cup size!

It fits okay and I realize the reason my normal band width was too small is because it is so wide with four hooks. I was afraid I still had purchased the wrong size thinking I should have ordered 38G but it's alright. I wish the middle part would come down lower but that's due to the style more than the fit.

This bra is so comfortable you don't realize you are wearing a bra. I would have given five stars but the band size runs small. My band size measures 33. The sizing chart said use 34 or 36 size. I chose 36. It is too tight. I mean it fits but creates bulges from my back fat. I am going to order a 38. I guess it is because of my body build that it isn't creating a smooth line. Straps do not fall down, however. That is five stars for that feature.

I have sloped shoulders and my straps need to be close to the back closure so they do no fall off. This bra replaces one that I've been wearing for years. This is the first time I purchased this bra, because the one I had been wearing for years is discontinued. I am hard to fit because I have very narrow shoulders and hate my bra straps falling off my shoulders. Therefore, I must wear bras that the straps are very close to the back closure.
I found this one, it fits very well, it has comfortable support, so I look good in sweaters and knits and it does not fall off my shoulders. I purchased a second one.

I was disappointed because this bra's cups did not fit. The quality of the material was okay and the workmanship looked fine, but what good is all of that if the cups are too small?
Wacoal Response:
As an H cup you may have to search for a larger cup size. It may work to go up a band size to 36-
the cups will be larger but be sure and try one on before you order it.

Wow, I LOVE this bra! I had breast cancer 10 years ago with a lumpectomy. Since then I have had a horrible time trying to find a bra that didn't make me miserable after a couple of hours of wearing it. This bra is so comfortable, all day long and into the evening!! My left breast is much smaller than the right due to the surgery and radiation, so it has also been hard to find something that will fit both without looking bad under my clothes. This one fits both sides perfectly! So worth the money, very well constructed!

Because of a broken collar bone my right shoulder slopes, most bra straps slide down. The design of this bra pulls the straps toward the center in back and keeps the strap in place on my bumb shoulder. I love it! Very comfortable and is nice and smooth for tee shirts.

This bra is lovely and exactly the style that I prefer, smooth cup with underwire. But it's not supportive enough for my size (40D), it felt 'sloppy'. Fabric is skimpy, didn't cover underarms enough. The straps are thin and have sharp edges. Regrettably, I returned the one that I ordered.

Chose this bra based on reviews from petite ladies with slipping straps problems. When I first tried to put it on, I wasn't sure I was going to like it - it seemed a little tight around my ribs. But once I got it all situated properly, it was awesome. I love this bra! It stays put all day, making it more comfortable for longer wear. The straps don't go anywhere. It is so nice not to have to do any sewing or wear any accessories to keep the straps in place. I am between a 34 DD and 34 DDD and the 34 DDD size of the bra is perfect, just as suggested by the website. I really appreciated the reviews that helped me choose this bra. I'll be buying more of this bra!

This bra is very comfortable for all day wear and the straps stay in place. I chose the blue bra, and the colour is terrific. I have 2 issues that make me choose 4 stars instead of 5:
1.) This is the first "unmolded" cup I've purchased in several years; the girls are sitting a bit lower than I'm used to with a molded cup, so I don't feel as sexy.
2.) The second issue for me is getting into this bra. I have to hook the 4 hooks in front, then swivel it around, and then put one arm in at a time. The strap placement is terrific once the bra is on, but getting in it is taking me back to my days in gymnastics class!
I wear a 40G in other brands, and based on the recommendations purchased a 42G. This was the right choice.

Support and definition! Straps are designed "in" or towards the center a bit to keep them from falling. I am not perfectly symmetrical so the stretch in the cups help with uneven breasts. This bra has more fabric therefore it does show on my more open or revealing tops/tanks. I'm still giving it 5 stars because this extra coverage allows for the great fit and support.

I thought I needed a larger bra size than the one I have worn for several years, so I measured myself according to your instructions. I've worn 40D Flower Bali for years, and ordered 44DD Wacoal after measuring myself according to your instructions. To my surprise, the bra was much too tight. I think the cup size was correct, but the straps were so short(I had lengthened as much as possible) and the bra so tight that I could not even get it on. I saw that the Macy's website offered Flower Bali, so I simply ordered from them. Your site said that Flower Bali was discontinued. In future, I will just go to a store and try on bras for a new size. But I do think that either the Wacoal or Bali sizing is far off the standard. I know that Wacoal has a fine reputation in Japan, perhaps it is sized for small-bodied women. I only know that the 44 Wacoal is much tighter than the 40 Bali. The fabric and workmanship seemed of high quality.

This is a really good fitting bra for someone who doesn't want a lot of bulk but does need good support. It is very flattering and this color is really lovely.

After developing a more matronly figure a few years ago, I hated buying bras, trying them on and never finding a truly comfortable fit. HerRoom has changed my entire outlook on bras. I followed the "HerRoom fitting" guide and the bra fit perfectly! The Wacoal full figure underwire bra is super comfortable. I have no weight on my shoulders and no binding around my ribcage. I weigh about 50 lbs more than I should and yet I have no bra bulges. It gives me a smooth back and sides. This bra has improved my confidence and figure (I no longer look matronly) I am seriously impressed and already ordered more!

Cup size almost too small; I normally wear D in other brands; could have used DD in this bra.
Wacoal Response:
The cup in this bra does run just a bit smaller that some of our other full figure bras. It is designed with a "comfort back" which makes the cup a little less forgiving than some other bras. Maybe you should try the bra in size 34DD.

I wear a 40H in the Wacoal awareness bra, which it fits great. While the cup size is perfect, the band of this 40H is at least an inch too short. I had to use an extender to make this bra fit.
Wacoal Response:
Because of the "comfort back" on this bra it may run just a bit small in the back. I suggest you try the bra in 42G it will give more space and should be a better fit.

This is pretty much the perfect bra. Straps stay up, it's seamless, doesn't itch, shapes nicely, has good side "control" to keep things forward-facing, and the price is right. I have 4 now. I got my sister hooked on this style too, and what sold her was that the straps stay up. That is the best thing.

The bra fit well however, I had forgotten that these bras are almost like see through. I am returning them because they are see through.

These are not designed to be see through bras. They are Single coverage so there may be some show through with certain people.

I have been looking for years for the perfect bra. I finally found it! My biggest problem was slipping straps which can be very annoying. I work in NYC so I've been to all the "bra whisperers" and have spent thousands of dollars on ill fitting bras. Now I have a drawer of beautiful useless bras. This bra is so comfortable. The straps are set closer together so they do not slip off my shoulders. When I see a woman pulling up her bra straps I tell her about my Wacoal bra. I purchased the black, nude, robins egg blue and pink. There are also very comfortable matching panties.

This is the smallest 40H I've ever tried on. I couldn't even get it hooked in the back! And, yes, I'm sure of my size! The cups were so small it didn't even matter that I couldn't hook it. All in all I'd say this bra was totally mislabeled. I know Wacoal runs small but this was ridiculous. Now, I get to return it along with the ridiculously oversized 40H by Femi. Give me a break!
Wacoal Response:
Wacoal does not have a normal problem with mislabeled bras but this is not to say that there may have been an error here. Please contact customer service and discuss your options.

Band and cup seem to fit perfectly. After several hours, underwires are digging into ribcage. They seem very stiff and not much padding.
Wacoal Response:
This bra has just moved into the #2 best selling bra in Wacoal because of it's value and outstanding fit and quality. When underwires tend to dig into the ribcage this is usually a sign that the cup is too small. You should try the G cup in this style for more capacity and less pressure on the sides of the wire.

I'm normally a 36H but in this bra that size was way too small (both in the band and the cup).
This one is too generous in the band and still too small in the cup. Too bad because I like the fabric and feel of the bra.
Wacoal Response:
It sounds as if you simply need a larger cup size. Unfortunately this bra does not come larger than size H. Watch for larger cup sizes next season.

Good support and pretty comfortable. For me there is a little bit of discomfort with the underwire on my ribs because there is not as much padding around the underwire as the wacoal 85567 which is my everyday bra, so that's why I give it 4 stars.

I expect a bra to lift the girls up and give them a nice, rounded shape. This bra does the opposite. It makes the breasts flattened and forces them to droop lower than they are when they're undressed. Also, the underwires in each cup are different lengths, the right side much shorter than the left.
Wacoal Response:
Again, this is one of our top selling bra's, which gives great support and lift. I think you are in the wrong size bra.
