Out of all the Wacoal bras I purchased in my order this is the bra that fits me best. Being a 38DDD makes it difficult to find a bra that is practice, comfortable and holds the girls in place. So far so good! Linda from Cleveland

I love this bra . One of the few I can get with the 4 rows of hooks. the back closure can be scratchy, run your finger along until you feel the scratchy part its usually edging. take an acrylic nail file and use it to smooth the edging. odd but work Karen S from Opp, Al

Have worn this same model and size over last few years without any problem, so removed tags and washed before wearing. However, edge of the fastener pad on back is so scratchy that it is UNWEARABLE and will not soften.

HerRoom Response: Looking at your order history with us, you have always purchased 44 band sizes. You purchased this in a 40 band. Also noted is that you have never bought this bra style from us. I think the issue here is more about being in the wrong size. Lin from NY NY

Really nice bra, but with my short torso the underwire kills my underarms.

HerRoom Response:Your comment is an accurate one. Any woman who is petite in height should avoid any bra that is labeled "full figure" like this one. Its proportion will simply be too much for your petite frame. Audrey from Enterprise

This bra fits perfectly but is difficult to wash (even delicate hand washing) because the inner pads bunch up. I am a creature of habit so I keep ordering this bra and the inner pads have done this on every one of these bras.

HerRoom Response: This Wacoal bra does not have any padding. Sheri

I have tried many Wacoal bras and always come back to this one.it has everything I look for and nothing I don’t when choosing a bra. The only thing I would like is more colors. This is the only bra that has never been offered in a color other than beige or black. Aj from Windsor

I have been wearing the Wacoal Bodysuede Full Figure Seamless Underwire Bra since about 2004, when it appeared on Oprah's "Favorite Things" list. Although I am not easily swayed by celebrity endorsements, this bra has been a winner for me. Year after year, the fit and durability speak of the consistency in quality of this bra. It's expensive, but well worth the money. I am so impressed with this bra, I am hesistant to purchase any other brand! I have purchased other Wacoal bras, but, this particular one is my every day "'ride and die". Don't change a thing, Wacoal! teachermrw from CT, USA

Although initially the bra fit well and seemed comfortable, it wasn’t until I wore it that the back clasp area began to bother me. There is something very scratchy and irritating. Frustrated as it can’t be returned because I removed the tags. Arlene from USA

Was disappointed this time with my bra were you hook on in the back it it had sharp corners and it was very stiff it's scratched my back after soaking it it was still stiff so I'm going to half to soak quite a few times I think before I'm able to wear it.

I was so looking forward to this bra, but it didn't seem to fit right. Not sure if it was my fault on the size or just the style of bra. It was made very well. I have to wear mine before i can decided if its right. I do love how easy it is to talk to someone and how easy it is to return. I will be ordering more from this company. I have been wearing this bra by Wacoal for many years. However, when I went to buy them at a retail store they were always out of my size. When I learned about HerRoom it has been a pleasure! I just plug in what I want and a few days later they are at my door! I love shopping here - it is the same price - actually less, and I never have to leave my house! Great place to do business with. When you are blessed to be big busted, naturally, it is SO hard to find a great fitting bra. This bra takes the cake. I was fitted in a specialty bra shop in St. Louis where I first found this bra. Now we live overseas and it is easy to order here. I have one big complaint however. When I first got and tried on this bra, it was so awesome. It lifted my spirits, and my girls, in a way that I really hadn't seen for a long time. It was snug and I felt awesome, on the first hook. Several weeks later, I am already on the second hook. The sagging started too early. I would expect this bra to hold up well for 6-12 months, yet at the rate we're going, I will be wearing an ill fitting worn out bra for a year. Despite it being the best fit for me. Donna from APO, AE

This is a nice everyday t-shirt bra that offers a lot of support and coverage all the way around. It is not very sexy. However, I wish it plunged a bit more in the front. And the cups, while ample, they push the breasts up and forward and therefore peak up a bit under my pretty modest scoop next tank tops. This is a practical and comfortable bra, but I'm not sure yet if I'll buy it again. Melisa from Los Molinos, CA

I have been wearing this Wacoal bra style for over 25 years. I was smaller and thinner than I am now, but no matter my size, this bra is the most comfortable and supportive bra I have ever worn. More importantly it is DURABLE! Unlike the majority of underwire bras made nowadays, the underwire is NOT PLASTIC so it doesn't break. I have thrown away several bras from other manufacturers where I had this happen. Only Wacoal bras last for years! Never a cracked underwire. They are durable and so soft. The fabrics are extraordinary. I am very sensitive to lace and most bra fabrics. Wacoal's fabrics are of the highest quality and beauty. Victoria from Westchester

The shape of this bra is great, and it is very comfortable to wear, but has poor construction and no longevity. I ordered 3 of these, and rotated them with some other bras in my collection, so they didn't get exclusive wear. After a month, one had already popped an underwire between the breasts. There is some foam contouring that follows the shape of the cup on the outside of each breast, and within a month, this foam had already separated from the seam on one bra. After 4 months, all three had the foam separate and bunch up inside the lined cups, leaving horrible lumps visible in smooth-fitting tops. De from Fairfax, VA

The cups on this bra fit perfectly. Unfortunately, I am between a 30 and a 32 in band size, so it's a bit loose. Also, it is very thin material. I was expecting less show-through. If it were not quite so revealing, I would keep it. Under the circumstances, however, I will be returning this very nice bra. Robin from Oakland Park, FL, USA

Love This Bra!! This is absolutely the most comfortable full support bra ever. I know that's a big claim, but I've tried so so many and been disappointed over the years. The straps are shaped and padded and the soft side pads are great. It provides excellent support and gives me a nice smooth look, even under tee shirts. I can wear this bra all day without wanting to tear it off as soon as I get home. The only small irritation is/was the size tag, which bothered me so I cut it out. I will definitely be buying more of this bra. Suzette from Bend, OR. USA

In spite of the 3-stars rating I gave this bra, I truly love the fit and the support. In fact, I began buying this bra from a dept. store many many years ago. The past ten years, I've been buying them in "quantities" from HerRoom when they've been on special pricing. I still have two in reserve, but have noticed the quality has not been the same within the past three years. (1) The straps do slip; yes, I'm older now and my shoulders are no longer "upright", but I had this problem from the first bra. Annoying, but the rest of the fit was worth the money and the strap problem. (2) Big problem: the inner shaper band bunches up and/or shifts. Sometimes, I can readjust it, but I'm wearing one right now with a "lump" that cannot be adjusted. (3) The elastic "threads" pop out all over the sides/backs. Two of the most recent ones started this "thread popping" after only a couple washes. This truly ruins the smooth, well-made look of this bra. Since these bras are a large financial investment, I don't abuse them; usually handwash and pat with a towel and then air dry. I have, at times, washed one in the washer. NEVER put one in a dryer. Personally, I like the 4-hook back, but would like the straps to be relocated more toward the center of the back. Bottom line, I believe the quality has declined over the years and am considering changing brands for my next purchase. [By the way, I have the T-back, front closure bra also in quantities and there is no slippage at all -- in fact, I sleep in my "old" T-backs.

Wacoal Response: The Bodysuede group is known for it's padded straps and comfort. If the straps are Slipping off your shoulders you may want to look into a kicked in back strap bra. You mentioned the T-back Which does have the kicked in straps and it fits you well. Also if there is bunching in the cup it typically means the cup is too big. We recommend women getting measure by a fit specialist once a year. As we age and our body changes so does our bra size. To give you the same seamless appeal and support you enjoy from the Bodysuede group I would suggest trying Wacoal Basic Beauty Full Figure Underwire Bra 855192. This style has the kicked in straps and will stay on your shoulders better and comes in many colors each season. Barb from Winter Garden, FL

Selected this bra through the Bra Fitting Center. It was recommended in a few categories of the returns. Band size was true to size and comfortable and straps didn't seem like they would slip, which is an issue I have with some styles. The cups, however, ran small and tended to smoosh instead of support. I felt insecure in this bra and the resulting silhouette was not one I liked. It will be returned.

Wacoal Response: The Bodysuede collection is a a best seller group. It sounds like the cup size may be too small. Another style that has comfort straps and band is Wacoal Awareness Full Figure Seamless Bra .This style has a fuller cup that may suite you better. Lisa from Phoenix, AZ, USA

finally found a bra that fits well, true to size and is super comfortable, all day! Bra has great support and the bra straps rest nicely on your shoulders. I have been wearing this bra for YEARS! I try other brands and styles and always gravitate back to Wacoal. It is FANTASTIC. Wonderful under tee shirts straps don't move, underwire is comfortable. Never have to "adjust" anything. Just put it on and go. Just wish it was offered in some colors other than the basic three. Would love maybe silver, or dark red, something classy of course. This is the first underwire bra I have been able to wear in at least 20 years. Due to Lupus I have gained a lot of weight and my breast have greatly increased in size along with my abdominal area. WEvery other under wire I have tried has cut into my abdomin and sides. This bra is amaizing in that the cups fit perfectly and the underwire is under my breast instead of resting on my stomach. I get the support I need and the girls are finely setting pretty and looking good. Denise from Virginia

I love the fit of this bra but have two complaints: 1) the underwire does pop out (in the middle and/or on the sides). The metal ends should been fitted with plastic ends to keep the sharp edge from pushing through the fabric. The problem is not cup size (I have a range of sizes) or my height (5' 8.5") 2) This is the only underwire bra that I've ever owned (including other styles of Wacaol) that consistently sets off airport security alarms. I've had to switch to another style Wacoal when traveling just for this reason.

I really had high hope for this bra. The manuf. say it's for full figured women. They boast that the straps are made for comfort so they don't dig into your shoulders. The problem is that the comfort band is too short. You have to hoast the bra so high in order to get the comfort staps engaged. You are left with the typical elastic strap that digs into your shoulders after all. The side panels did not hold my DD cups and I spilled over the top when I adjusted the straps too tight. This also made the bra uncomfortable. The bra also did not wash well. The interior padding shifted and the elastic side gave way. The elastic strips show after only 2 washes. I don't put my bras in the dryer. I bought several of these bras, white, nude, pink, chocolate, etc. The underwire started to twist and contort and now I cannot get it to go back into place. Bad investment. I switched to a better bra. It is also made by Wacoal 835170. Tabitha from Orlando, FL USA

I wanted so much to love this bra. It is pretty, nice color, has nice feel to it, but the front was too high for me in between the breasts-it was uncomfortable there. It also had extremely high sides that held the side breast fat in fantastically but, the sides went all the way up to my armpit! The bones/wires poked into my underarms, and into the armpit itself. I have immensely large arms, that is probably why, but that is why I cannot wear the bra. If you have no problem with a high sided bra under the arm and between the breast then this is perfect. It makes your breasts look great too, I just cannot take the height of side/front. It was a lovely bra.

Wacoal Response: You should try style #851814. It is pared down from the 85185 and it very well could solve your underarm discomfort. Dora from Montgomery, Alabama USA

This bra has good under-support and four hooks in back, but the unlined fabric in the upper part of the cup is too thin.

Wacoal Response: This is the #4 selling bra in the entire Wacoal line. It was designed to have a lighter upper cup for comfort and appearance. The support comes from the lower cup and this is good. Ruth from Burlington, MA

This is one of the most uncomfortable bras I have ever put on...I bought 2 and threw one out. Your web site said it was a replacement for the one I am wearing now and it is definitely NOT a replacement. There is nothing good I can say about it. I am forced to go look for other bras other than Wacoal.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry that you misunderstood our comment. We did not say this bra was a replacement for 85567.

YEAH!!! I am ecstatic to have found this, my favorite, bra here! I have wanted to place a replacement purchase for this exact bra (in all the colors) for some time now, but until today have been unable to find them. I have purchased a number of bras since buying this one and have NEVER been happy with any of them. The four hook closure and coverage of this particular bra meets my needs perfectly and the underwires have not been too short to fill the length of the cup size as is the case with some others. Nor are they too high in the arm pit, so digging in or winging out has never been a problem. I am thrilled to have found this again and will be buying one of each color in my hard to find size – 36 DDD. CDOI from Oregon

This is a very supportive bra. Most comfortable bra I've worn in years and will recommend to friends. It lays flat, doesn't ride up, doesn't compress, doesn't curl up at the edges of the cups or the bottom band. Looks nice under clothing by placing breasts where they are supposed to be. Clothes fit better. Ordered more after wearing the 1st one. Great site - huge selection, quick delivery. Easier than any department store hunts! Cathy from Colorado

True fit. Great construction all around. Comfortable straps although I wish they were attached in the back further in, to reduce the slipping down that occurs for me. This bra is a little bit padded which I didn't expect but is ok. Lorissa from Mount Shasta, Calif, United States

I originally was fitted for this bra at one of the big expensive department stores. I am short, overweight and have had difficulty with bras riding up or slipping off my shoulders in the past. This specific bra really does fit like its name suggests. I have found that having the 4 hook and eye closures in the back helps the fit and stability of the bra. my only desire would be to have a few fun colors to add. Robin from Maryland

This has to be the most comfortable uplifting bra of all I have tried. I love the dual layer cups and the extra row of hooks (depends on size) which is how all bras should be. This bra is one of the most comfortable bras I have ever worn. I was expecting not to like it and I don't....I LOVE IT. There is no lining which is not a problem for me, but might be for you if you are more modest. The only down is that the bra comes up very high on my chest and I am limited to very high neck lined shirts and t-shirt's. I should also mention that I love receiving packages from Herroom with all wrapped in pretty purple paper, etc... Melisa from Atlanta

There is no bra like Wacoal, I have tried many, I keep trying to get something that I like as well or a different style. I had a breast reduction several years ago, I wore this bra, before and went back to it after. They last forever. Draw back, well little hard to find, I have tried all the new bras out there that are cheaper, no slip straps.. there "junk". Don't last, no support. This is the real deal, comfortable support and as far as the price, well when it lasts 4 times longer, I guess it saves you money. Good Luck hunting for the perfect bra.. I found it and I am sticking with it. Carol Ann from Groesbeck, Tx. USA

This bra is wonderful! I am pregnant, so I needed something comfortable, but I just can't go without an underwire. This bra is really comfortable and supportive. I like this bra and would recommend it to others. The wide straps prevent them from cutting into my shoulders. The four snap back offers great back support and has improved my posture. The additional side and lower cup support keeps my top from resting on my abdomen when sitting, which also prevents the underwires from digging into my skin causing pain, irritation and perspiration. I submitted a review back in August 2009 when I purchased two of these bras after having another one of the same for 4 years. I just ordered two more! A very comfortable supportive full coverage bra. Lately I have noticed several of wacoal's bras having only two hooks in even the full figured sizes, having read that three or more depending on size added more support I was confused at why they would decrease the hooks. This style bra actually has four in my size and I wonder if this makes it more supportive. Whatever I do find the bra very comfortable and have learned that although most women prefer less hooks to fasten their bra I think they do serve a purpose and increase the comfort of larger band bras. This is the 4th BodySuede seamless bra I've ordered so that should speak for itself. It's comfortable, doesn't pinch or cut into any part of my skin and the 3 back hooks make it adjustable. The only reason I didn't give this a 5 was because the wide shoulder straps that aren't supposed to slip actually do slip off my shoulders and I'm frequently pushing them back in place. They're comfortable and don't create deep depressions in my shoulders but I was hoping that they would actually stay in place. Maybe I have particularly sloping shoulders (???) but I would have liked a bit more padding and/or some material that would stick a bit more. Anne from Hartsdale, NY

Sometimes I try other bras for a little variety, but I keep coming back to this one. I have a small band size and large cup size, but this bra gives me great support with no sag. Also, the center lays flat on my sternum, which is great because many bras on shorter women don't do this even if they fit everywhere else. The bra has wide, non-stretch straps and 3 hook and eyes in the back. It's not padded, so when you wear lighter weight clothing you may want to find some good inserts. Bonnie from CA

Comfortable. Good support, including side panels. Still flexible enough to accommodate difference in breast sizes. Only complaint is that the shoulder pads aren't on my shoulders, they are in front of them. But that is a problem I've had, I assume since I have a longer torso? Comfortable with great support. The only reason it isn't a 5 is that the shoulder pads hit me (a taller person) in front of my shoulders. This is a seriously awesome bra. It does not ride up my back, it is soft and it gives a beautiful shape. I love the fact that it keeps the girls within my frame, rather than widening them to the sides making them seem bigger than they really are. Please note: if you have shiny headlight problems, you might want to get nipple covers something of the sort. The material is pretty thin and will not hide the nippies if they decide to poke out! I love this bra! After searching for a good fit for years and settling for a "It will work" but doesn't quite fit bra, I stumbled upon the Wacoal line. What a relief to find a bra that really fits and is comfortable. The wide shoulder straps keep the straps from falling off my shoulders. The only complaint I have is the fabric is thin and I keep nipping out in all the air conditioned establishments here in NM. After reading all the reviews I am going to order the No Peek cups and that problem will be solved. This bra is well worth the money. Sandi from Albuquerque/NM/USA

This bra seems to have very good support. I love that it is smooth under t-shirts. This bra fits a lot more loosely than the other Wacoal bras that I have...had I realized how much more loosely, I would have returned this and ordered a band size smaller, but I had already worn it by the time I figured out how loose it was. I can't find bras in my size in stores. I've worn several different bras over the years looking for ones that would give me support, look pretty, and last. This bra fits all three requirements! I have one of these that is maybe 4 years old, and it's still doing the job! I dare you to find another bra that'll still do the job after four years. While this bra may not be as slinky as many of the pretty little things I wish I could wear, it is definitely NOT a "grandma bra" like many full figure bras tend to be. It also gives a great smooth shape. I justify the expense in its ability to last. I just bought several more, and I expect them to last as long as the last one. Ellen from MN

After a friend spoke highly of the Wacoal brand I decided to try it. I was hesitant due to the price but could not be happier. I had always worn a Playtex bra but find the Wacoal to be more comfortable and better fitting. I will definitely buy this bra again, I just wish it were less expensive. I do not like to wear 4 hook bras and if I had known that was what it was I would not have purchased it. I believe that information regarding the number of hooks (up and down) should be put on the web site so women could make a better informed decision regarding their purchase.

HerRoom Response: We apologize for this error. We do state the hook count of bras further down the page, but Wacoal told us your size had 3. We are contacting Wacoal for more correct information. Linda from Boca Raton

By far, one of the best bras I've ever owned. True to size, fits perfectly and feels wonderful. The padded straps are nice and comfortable, the center gore rests against my breastbone, the band stays in place and there is nothing on the bra anywhere that chafes or irritates. My only complaint is that the sling in the sides of the cups is just slightly visible underneath a tight knit shirt but that is really a minor complaint. I bought Wacoal's 'No Peek' cups and tucked those into place for the contoured look. The bra fabric is quite thin and since it is glacially cold where I work I'd be nipping all day. The contour pads work beautifully with this bra and no nips can be seen. Adrienne from Dallas, TX

First of all I dread bra shopping, as a 18 year old size 36DDD I have never had a cute bra or one that has fit as well as this one. I recently went bra shopping and decided to try on every bra they had in my size even if it looked horrid. Out of the 10 bras I tried on this bra is the only one that fit amazingly well and supports me in all the right areas. I have never had a bra that fit this well. Although it isn't the most attractive, I have a feeling I will be asking for more of these for my birthday. Shari from Moses Lake Wa

I just switched to this bra from another Wacoal minimizer style. I love this style! The underwires are heavily padded and I can't feel them at all. The only problem is that the padded straps are only padded in the front (where its not needed) and not at the top of the shoulder (where it's needed). And I'm only 5/4" so it's not because I'm too tall. Smooth cups look great under t-shirts and sweaters. Love it! Maren from Minneapolis, MN

I am in LOVE with this bra!! Kind of. It supports like crazy, but feels like it's not even there -- something I've never found before. The only reason why I'm giving it 3 stars is that the stitching is coming out already. I've had the bra for only two months or so and haven't done anything crazy like throw it in the washing machine. I can't imagine why it would be falling apart already. I would like to buy a few more, but I don't know if I can justify the cost if it's just going to start falling apart in a few weeks . . . If it wasn't falling apart it would be 5 stars all the way!

Very supportive, well-made, comfortable, and durable. I just ordered a couple more of these bras - have had 2 for about a year, and they are barely showing signs of wear or stretch. Bras in my size are hard to come by. I like this one because it really keeps the girls tight. It has a full wide cup thats not too deep and fits me well. I have purchased this bra in the past and agree with others that it looses it firm hold in a few months but with large cups, I would expect any bra to give after a time. This is about the only bra style I wear. It has great support and shaping powers and the underwires never dig in-- unlike just about every other style I have tried. The cups are smooth and strong but not industrial-- no unneeded padding. It makes my girls look great--no smooshing! My only complaint is that as a tall person, the wide part of the straps don't reach to my shoulder tops where that extra strap width would make it even more comfortable. Wide straps all the way round would be a great improvement. I wear a 40DDD so there are some physics involved here... They aren't cheap, but with hand washing they last a long time. I've worn this bra for 2 years in a 34DDD and liked it alot - good fit, sturdy and wears well. However, I measured a 36DDD now and I'm no longer a fan of this bra. It fits me like a minimizer, flattens me out into a "unaboob" and has now stretched out so much that I feel like I am sagging. I like "the girls" to be high and separated and feel like they're at my waist now. I switched to Wacoal style 85516 and it fits like a dream with a much younger, almost perky look! I really love how this bras looks. But it doesn't give me the complete support that other Wacoal bras have. My breast look more like "bean bags" in it. I am keeping it because it is great under t-shirts and sweaters. It is a very "smooth" bra for these kind of garments. Kim from IA

I really wanted to like this bra - I have such a hard time finding something that's flattering and comfortable. It is very comfortable, but it fits oddly. Also, I tried the bra on when I was cold - it was pretty obvious that I was chilly. Jen from Dallas, TX

It's three stars now because it has stretched to where I have to take it in by almost an inch on either side of the closing. I ordered a 32DDD. According to the measurements I took before ordering it should have ok but it too tight. maybe I should have kept it and run it through the washer until it fit. Wider straps a real need. I'd also be happier if they were non-stretch and nearer to the closing in back. I too wore the discontinued Olga for years and really miss it but this bra is the best alternative I've found. The only problem I have is that the underwire pops out between the breasts. The fit everywhere else is quite comfortable, but I am very aggravated with this feature. (I purchased in a dept store because I had just been fitted and there were only a few bras available in my size that the cups didn't come up so high as to be seen wearing a regular V-neck t-shirt). Incidentally, I did try many larger cup size/band size combos and the underwires were literally in my arm pits. I just ordered a couple of very popular bras w/ great reviews at Her Room so I'm hoping they will be better - what a WONDERFUL selection!!!

HerRoom Response: When your underwires pop out and forward between your breasts, this is a symptom that your cup size is too small. You probably need to go up to a 38DDDD or 38G. Your comments about the underwires poking you under your arm and being seen under your v-necks...if I were a betting woman, I would say you are short in stature (under 5' 4"). This is a very common symptom for shorter women. One solution is to purchase demi cup bras. THe underwires are shorter and the poking should then go away.

I loved this bra and have warn it until it became an embarassment. I do notice that Wacoal stretches after a few wearings, so be careful not to buy a size that only fits on the first set of hooks. My only complaint, which seems to be a problem with this brand, is that the lining is minimal. I can not wear this brand with light colored or thinner clothing without adding a camisole. This bra is useless! After the first couple washings, it got bigger and lost all support. Terrible dissapointment as I've been almost in tears trying to replace the now discontinued Olga 34DDD style I've worn for years. Awful fit. Felt as though I was trying on a 32D. What I assume is the minimizer effect made me feel like I was wearing a binder. Minimizing is one thing -- shapeless and squeezed flat is another. The uncomfortable fit was almost painful actually. And WHY would any designer put padding in this size bra? My time is so precious and the need so great which added to the dissapointment. Brenda from Homer NY USA

This is the most comfortable bra I've ever worn. The only improvement that I'd suggest to the manufacturer is to move the padding on the straps farther up the strap, away from the cup. For an average to tall woman the padding stops at the clavicle (collar bone) leaving no padding on the shoulder. Otherwise this bra is a great find! Nancy from Maryland, USA

This is the best bra I have ever worn. The shape and fit are perfect. In nude it can be worn with anything...and the support is the best. I wear a difficult size to find (32D), and this is usually available in my size. Cheryl from Houston, Tx
