These super-high-waist panties are reminiscent of the high-cut design that was fairly standard a few of decades ago, but unfortunately went out of fashion. I was so happy to find these on HerRoom. I love the ultra-high retro style. For me, no cut is too high – either on the waist or the hips. These briefs have the classic high retro design: The tri-section front panel divides the two lace side sections with a satin strip down the middle. The lace and satin sections together form a triangular shape that points to the center. Both the front and rear panels are framed by lightly scalloped edges – which the lace teasingly spills over on the front. The finishing bow adds a nice feminine touch. The overall effect is so sexy. These panties are also comfy and roomy – ideal for him. Although these briefs are super high to begin with, I like to ride my panties even higher, and these have enough strength and stretch capacity to pull them up as far as I want. I also found the fabric isn't as soft as I would like, and there is absolutely no stretch to them. These panties are the "BOMB" as my kids would say. They are quite beautiful and well worth the money. This is the only panty in my panty drawer. I have long legs and these panties make them look longer and thinner and make my hips look smaller as well. They wash well in my lingerie bag on delicate with mild lingerie liquid (NOT WOOLITE, never, never, ever) ! I hang them to dry...too beautiful to take a chance on the dryer! The lace is so soft and flattering. The high cut legs never show panty lines and they make your rear view look well shaped also. When they go on sale, I like to stock up whether I need them or not. Began to fall apart after a few washes. I had bought these in a few colors so it was more than one color that did not perform as expected.

I used to love these panties. I continue to order them even though they have changed the elastic in the waist. It used to be a more flexible elastic but now it's very tight with not much give. These used to be my favorite style briefs, but lately they have changed the quality of the waist elastic. It has zero give. This is odd because the leg elastic has plenty of give. I wear a size 7 and rarely an 8. I ordered these in 7 and they fit like a size 5. I immediately could tell that if I ordered up in size, then the leg openings would be like loose flapping bloomers! This is what I would consider an industrial grade panty. The lace is not soft and the polyester is not fine. But what it lacks in finesse, it makes up for in its complete sexiness when worn. I was not as impressed with these as some other purchases I have made. They are ok. They fold down my "muffin top" when I sit. They are fairly comfortable & do provide some support. The back coverage is great, but the front isn't as much as it should be. Not bad though.

The new Valmont panties are not as nice as the previous ones. I have several of this panty from earlier orders and the new (back-ordered) ones are a step down in two important ways. The size 8 is slightly smaller than the earlier size 8 (side-by-side comparison as well as compared try-ons) and the material is not as pleasing.

These come all the way up to the waist, so there is no roll at the top band. The elastic along the derriere is a relatively small band, so these may creep a bit on fuller figures, but not to terribly. This particular nylon panty is a better fitting panty than Valmont's polyester/spandex version of this same panty.
