Love the support and waist contouring "training". I wear most of the day and while working out, especially doing squats. Very supportive. I do remove in the evening before eating and do not sleep with it on. Love it and have it in beige and black. Nancy from Waynesville

Bought this Squeem for much cheaper than I would at any other retailer. Came in a nice presentable box and in a timely manner. My transaction with HerRoom was seamless just like my waist will be with my waist cincher! Karen

Good control in middle but I find the top and bottom do not provide the same firm control.. Suggest it is made to be a 3 snap instead of two to tighten where needed. Linda from Lexington Park MD USA

Love this slimmer! It's a bit long for my short torso but it works well enough that I don't mind it. I bought it to wear under dresses for that slimming look and tummy control. Would definitely purchase another one in black. Amanda from Levittown, NY

I like this item. I started wearing a SQUEEM miracle vest 1 year ago. I wear it daily. I purchased the waist clincher because the straps on the vest began leaving marks on my shoulders..not attractive with this summers cold shoulder fashions. This waist clincher worked wonders. It definately defines the waist but I am able to sit and bend and go through all my daily activities. Consider buying 2 and switch them out every other day. This way they air out efficiently and can be worn longer between washings. I wash the one I wear every other week. Carrie from Friendship, Maryland

The squeem is amazing. It's super comfortable and conforms to your body after a few wears. I love that it doesn't roll because of the carefully placed boning. The material takes a little getting used to but I really like it. I am allergic to latex but it doesn't give me any issues. I liked it so much I bought it in black. Cara from Newark, ca. USA

Wow! All of the excellent reviews were right-on. I still have to lie flat on the floor or bed to "hook up" but once I'm in, I'm ready to run. My posture is much better. I actually think I'm taller, after two weeks of wearing my Squeem. It works well under dressy and casual attire. Love it! The only problem is that I only bought one. Florida

Tight squeeze into this, I'm a 29 around the waist, debated getting the M, but I've owned one before and they do stretch a bit with normal wear. Ordered the S and sucked it it, still fits and feels great, awesome shaping power and discreet enough to wear under anything. Love it! Sarah from USA

Not true to size. Bought it because I have a big lower tummy. The measurement for large is within my 33" waist but upon trying it out, realized it was big and the upper part of the clincher had space making my dress look funny and obvious that an undergarment is sticking out at the top under the bust. Very pleased with this item. I have ordered it before. I wear it everyday. It covers my entire midsection-ribs to hips. 90% of the time there is no slipping or rolling. Having the boning makes all of the difference compared to other shapeware. It also helps give good back support which I need since I am a bigger busted gal. Nikki from Wynne AR

I think it is made for a person that all ready has the shape. I have trouble hooking it up. I hook 3 an 2 pop open. The top part sticks away from my body. It is a little pricey. But one good thing is it helps my back aches. Dorothy from Homosasa,Fl,USA

Great quality and material. Holds it all in, only thing I don't like about it is that the wires or hooks show through most of my shirts. But this is my favorite shaper and I'm buying my second one today. I started off with a 2X and now I'm down a few inches with exercise and eating better. I got this for my baby belly!!! And the inches are melting. True to size. Ps. I normally don't leave comments so believe me when I say this is a good one! Other shapers on this website I don't like as much. Others were too silky. Out of no where my shirt starts rolling up because of how smooth the clincher was, so this one makes it all stay in place weight and clothes. Jasmine from Massachusetts

Brought this waist cincher mostly for lower back support. It does support lower back.. However, I'll give it some time to see other promised results.. I think I should have ordered smaller size -- 1x instead of 2x. Be extremely careful and pay attention to sizing instructions because once you wear it you cannot return it.. I am trying to reduce my post-pregnancy belly after having my second child. The waist cincher fit perfectly, taking away about 2 inches off immediately making it possible to wear clothes I had not worn for a while. It feels a bit uncomfortable when sitting in the earlier days, but after a week, I didn't feel the discomfort as much. Express delivered in 2 days. Website easy to navigate. Shipment arrived within a couple of days...very quick! I measured as recommended and with a little tugging and pulling, I did get the cincher on. A little practice, but got it on. I took a petite size as I have a 26 inch waist. It does take some getting used to, so slowly built up my time each day. My back was sore wearing it the first few days, but I think that was from putting myself into better alignment. After a few days, I was wearing all day. The down side is that I am short waisted and it tends to be too high under the bust by a couple of inches and can be uncomfortable. Also, afraid there isn't a lower size should I want to go smaller..hopefully, I'll be fine with my results. I don't know if the cincher will be effective, but hoping to get my middle under control! I recently purchased Squeem 26C and Squeem 26J waist cinchers. I am long-waisted, 5'7" and weigh 230 lbs and after reading reviews and size charts ordered 2X. I wear dress size 20W. Both waist cinchers surprisingly fitted over my lower abdomen. Just like the size chart says, its important to measure 3 inches above navel. Bregiphi from Indiana

I wear a Squeem 26C corset every day all day. with it on I just don't look girdled. At first it is tight, then comfortable and then I just forget that I have a girdle on. I have worn a RAGO 7207 high waist long leg panty - always had that girdled look. With the squeem I am not at all self conscious nor in fear of detection. I have three - the one in black is wonderful. I do not have to wear panties nor stockings - with the open bottom the squeem is easy to wear I have no problems. I would never consider leaving home without my girdle. R from NYC

This is an update on a previous review. I had ordered a medium and had problems with it buckling, stretching, and the bones coming out. I ordered a small, thinking that a firmer fitting garment might resolve the buckling issue and would prevent the unwanted stretching. However, the bucking is still really extreme. I can tolerate a little bit of wrinkling at the waistline, but this is so bad it cuts into the skin. In order for this product to lie flat as the wearer moves the amount of boning would have to be increased or they would have use much stronger bones. The bones are too flexible and the majority of the hold you're getting from this product comes from the fabric and construction. I have no idea how other women are making this work Sil from Oregon

I wanted to love this item, I really did. When I first put it on and stood in front of the mirror I was floored by how great of a job it did. But it definitely has some issues that became apparent once I tried moving around with it on. First, it will stretch after a few wears. Size down if you can. Second, it was only effective when worn with tight pants to hold the bottom in place. Otherwise the bottom would roll up, or it would bunch in the waist. And finally, the bones ended up coming out of the top after two months of occasional wear. I think this was because when I bent at the waist or sat down the cincher buckled a bit in the waist, forcing the bones in an upward direction until they finally poked through the fabric. I am pondering ordering a size small (I have a 32 inch waist, so the medium should have been fine), in order to account for the stretching and seeing if a tighter fit will resolve some of the issues. Day 1 I struggled to fasten it. Day two I had help. By day 3 it was a cinch. By day 6 I was on the second notch. I'm going to be ordering a medium next week. It is even comfortable to wear to the gym and work. I would not wear this under form fitting clothes because the notches are visible, making it look like you have a zipper underneath. I have distasis recti so I was looking for something that would aid in mending my poor abs. I have an extremely short torso, so I bought this with trepidation. When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised! 1. At first I didn't think I would be able to fasten it at all. It looked way too tight, but with a little help from my hubby, I got it on the first set of hooks, and then on my own, re-cinched it to the tightest setting. Perfect! 2. With the roundness of my belly from the distasis recti, the length was actually perfect. If it had been any shorter, I would have bulged out of the top or bottom like a popped can of biscuits. If you are short torsoed and very thin, this is probably not the cincher for you! 3. If you are looking for a smooth silouhette, this is not the cincher for you! It is exactly what I wanted which was added support, but you can see the hook and eye closures from the front! Not so subtle if you are going for people not knowing you are wearing it. 4. It is fabric on the outside and rubbery stuff on the inside. Awesome for staying power, meaning it is not going to slide up or down, but if your skin is sensitive, you will need to wear something underneath it which may interfere with its staying power! My one complaint would be that there are only 2 rows of hook and eye, meaning it is not terribly adjustable, and if you have it on the tightest setting there is a funky flap of fabric over the closures that kind of sticks out a bit. Definitely not deal breakers for me though! Overall, if you are looking for a garment that gives you amazing support, I highly recommend this product! emily from Montana

I bought this for post partum reasons... Being I was pregnant when I ordered I wasn't sure what size to get. I originally bought a L based on pre-pregnancy weight but once it came I realized there was no way that would fit after, so I exchanged it which herroom made very easy an as hassle free as a return/exchange can be. The XL I exchanged for came promptly and I was able to get into it by my third day post-partum, however my husband did have to cinch me in for the first week. It does have about 30tiny hooks but once on it is very comfortable an VERY supportive- my back felt so much better with it on (I had terrible back labor so I was very sore). By week 2 I can fasten it myself an I have already started to cinch it tighter on the 2nd set of hooks. I totally would recommend this product 10x's over!! FYI it does get very warm with the special latex it has so you do sweat in it but hey that's good to help lose some inches! Sarah from Madison, WI

I really wanted to like this. My weight is pretty well distributed, but I am a little top heavy. This did not work for me. Based on the size chart, I ordered a 3XL... put it on and it rolled horribly in the back. It had a huge loose gap in the front of the garment up top. Weird right? I had read the reviews before ordering and they said if it rolls, you need to go down a size. So I also bought a 2XL. That one rolled worse than the first and still had that big ole gap down the front of the garment. Jess from St. Louis

Well...I was really excited to get this but it really digs into my back side leaving really deep marks in my skin. It's mainly on my right side. It also wrinkles up a lot. Maybe it's because I'm short and have a short torso...I don't know. I will try the tank top underneath and hope this works. I was really disappointed Ms. D from Waldorf, MD

I bought both a 3XL and a 2XL. I wasn't sure what size to get based on the sizing chart vs. the cusomer reviews so I got both. When I put the 3XL on, it rolled in the back, at the top, and the front of the garment. The top was not tight at all. It fit more like a loose blouse. The bottom of the garment was definitely snug. I downsized based on the company's comments to other reviewers. Jessica from IL

I was very skeptical about ordering. I'm a XL. I bought a large and after three weeks of wearing the garment during my 8-9 hour work shift and also while sleeping, I'm ready to wear my medium. I am seeing results . My only complaint is the folding in the mid section which some days makes it very unbearable to wear. I have to take it off and and put it back on.... Also, I found if you lotion with coco butter before wearing the garment, it helps with the dryness and itching. It also reduces visibility of stretch marks. Meka from Sanford, FL

I love this waist cincher. I still have my mommy tummy even though my son is 4 years old now, but I hope with exercise and wearing the waist cincher that I will have a flatter tummy by summer. I bought the large as my waist is 35". From the front this looks great, but it has some wrinkles around the waist in the back. They are not too bad unless you're wearing a fitted dress. The biggest problem is the back fat! It gives me this huge roll of fat in the back above the garment. And that shows through everything. :( Janice from Ft. Myer, Florida

After much attempts, I learned how to work with the garment. I like it and i am seeing some results; but I have to adjust it often, it tends to buckle as I find that the bones or support in the garment is very soft and bends easily, it does not give much support. The stretchability is good making it a plus; but by having to adjust it frequently by either pulling it up or down, I cannot wear it out because of that only at home. Anna from Palm Coast FL USA

This review is for small-waisted, petite women. I'm 5'2, weigh 105lbs, and am very short waisted. I got the P (also called XS) since my waist is 25-26 inches. I bought it primarily for posture and back pain. This is my first cincher, so my review may reflect that. It's tight, very tight. I thought I wouldn't be able to close it at all at first, but I wrestled it into submission. You have to get used to breathing in it. You definitely won't eat in it if yours is as tight as mine. The fit info for short-waisted, petite women: 1. It is a little long, but not egregiously so. It's mostly noticed on the sides where the shape of the boning doesn't quite match up with the shape of my waist. I found the boning to dig in a little at the waist. And that causes some mild folding there as well (when sitting). 2. It is *NOT* too long in sheer length--not too long in front, back, sits where it should. It really comes down to the shape of the boning on the sides not matching my sides (so it goes in/cinches in a little bit lower than where my natural waist is). 3. These are not deal breakers for me. It is annoying and a mildly uncomfortable at first. 4. Does offer incredible lower back support. So overall, I'd recommend it. I wanted to give a detailed review about exactly how it fits on short-waisted women since I was looking for this specific information when I was reading reviews. Aslan from New York

I ordered the size the chart suggested. It wrinkles horizontally on the back waist and I think that will show through my clothes. I don't know why it is wrinkling. It is not uncomfortable though it makes you sweat. It smells like rubber. I hope the smell fades.

Squeem Response: Wrinkles are normally a sign of a product too large for the person’s body. If the size you bought is a 3XL, that means your natural waistline (measured 3 fingers above the belly-button), should be between 43 and 45 inches, or between 18 and 20 dress size. If the size is correct, and the product is still wrinkling, we suggest wearing a tank top underneath the Squeem. Also, make sure to tuck your Squeem under the pants. The smell will fade with time as you wash the garment. Kathleen from Providence, RI,USA

Was amazed how well this Squeem Waist Cincher worked & how much better it made me look in tight fitting clothes. Thought it might be uncomfortable when I was putting it on but was surprised how comfortable it was even though snug, which of course is what you want. Easy to move in, sit, walk. I purchased the size recommended by the company's chart. When I received I thought that I would have to get a size larger but once I put it on, it fit true to size. Very please with this product & would recommend it to anyone that wants a slimmer, fit look. I bought it to wear with my dress at my son's wedding but will now use it for all occasions because its comfortable & shapes the waist so well. Mar from Fortuna, ND USA

I realize it's purpose and I have the correct size however, I cannot wear it. I wore it (Day #1) with the rubber side to my skin. It did not shift or bind. I wore it (Day #2) with the rubber side out - as it is intended. The stays shifted and cut. The garment shifted and rolled at the waist and cause such deep welts at those points as to take (2) days to alleviate. I still have the rash from the rubbing along the stays - after a week. The rubber side to the skin - prevents this rubbing but you need to position the Squeem carefully because there is no way to move it once you have it fastened.

Squeem Response: Squeem does not recommend wearing the rubber against the skin, as it might cause irritation. One cause of the product shifting can be wearing a size too large. If you bought an XL, that means your natural waistline (measured 3 fingers above the belly-button), should be between 37 and 39 inches, or between 14 and 16 dress size. We also recommend that people with soft skin wear a tank top underneath the product, and begin wearing it gradually (a few hours a day). Additionally we do not recommend wearing it for more than 8 hours a day. Organzaro from Jacksonville, FL

I bought this item as well as the Squeem vest. This item is designed for short women. I'm 6'2, and it's a joke on my body; it rolls something fierce. If you are short and ruler-shaped, this is perfect for you -- but if you are tall and are hourglass shaped, this item will not work for you. Please heed this warning. I just got this today and it is pretty comfortable. I ordered on the low range of the sizes. I could not afford to purchase two. I knew I would be losing weight and just an inch off my waist would put the size Large too big. It's tight. But even with wearing it just 30 minutes, my umbilical hernia was completely back in. It of course came back out within 30 minutes but that alone tells me this is going to work for me. My only complaint and it's just because my body is so short waisted, is that it's too long. It comes down a few inches past the top band of my panties. MUCH longer than shown in the photo. It should be an easy fix to serge the edge and trim the boning but for someone who doesn't sew and is short, it's not going to work for them. I've seen a few reviews that it's too long. I would LOVE to see different lengths in this. Mel from Texas

The garment didn't fit well at all. The top 2" was really loose. It did kind of suck me in, but I obviously needed a smaller size. The sad thing was I had even consulted the sizing chart, and still it was too big. It was comfortable to wear.

The fit was great, except I wish it was higher and lower in the fit area.....I am average size but it was just too short.

Squeem Response: I am sorry you found this to short for you. But this garment is longer than many waist cinchers. If it was any longer it would be to long for what most customers are looking for, and we have a large customer demand for the length of this style. N from kill devil hills

Firmly controls waist. Extremely comfortable for all-day wear. Helps eliminate backache by providing extra back support. Takes a bit of effort to fasten in place, but the results are absolutely worth it! Feels great. I will be buying more so I can wear one every day. dave from fort worth, tx, USA

I wanted to like this item, I really did. Unfortunately, after a bit of struggle getting this on, the middle folded into my stomach when I sit down, causing uncomfortable pressure. I tried a large, which was easier to get on, but also folded in the same as the medium. So, they are both being returned.

Squeem Response: I am sorry to hear that your experience with Squeem wasn't positive but as we all know, every women has a different body type and some products have a better fit in some bodies than others. For instance, our Miracle Vest has adjustable straps which will stop the top from folding down. Another suggestion is to wear a camisole underneath, we have found that it helps. hj1972 from San Francisco, CA

The good - It definitely sucks you in and gives you a waist, inproves posture and smooths lumps and bumps. I did not have an issue with back bacon over the top of the cincher or bulging at the hip line. The bad - The boning (stays) do not run the entire length of the stay casings, and the fabric begins to bunch and wrinkle at the waistline. The ugly - Although my silhouette from the front is improved, and everything is smoothed out, that fat has to go somewhere. For me, my silhouette from the side (profile) seems to have added a little bulk and my actual waist measurement differential is minimal. Over all I am pleased with the effect, and would most likely purchase this product again; however, I don't think it is an every-day kind of garment. Use it when you have figure conscious clothing (not skin-tight as the stays and hooks will show through). I also put a CT Shapewear vest over it to minimize the hook and bone issue. I returned this because it did not fit close to my upper back. Otherwise, it seemed fine.

Squeem Response: For a better fit on your back I would recommend a Miracle Vest it will have a better fit and target the upper back area. The Miracle Vest is specially designed to reduce inches from your waistline, lift the breast and flattens the tummy. In addition. It provides superior back support while improving posture. It also has adjustable bra straps and underarm Spandex to provide total control. no name

I really love the Squeem. I have had 3 large babies over 11lbs by c-section, so I have a lot of loose skin that only gets worse the more weight I lose. The Squeem holds me in nice and tight and gives me a nice shape. No bulges hang out over the top or bottom. I especially like how long it is covering my lower abs where the problem is the worst. I also bought a Spanx undergarment to wear over it to cover the hooks and make it so my clothes glide easier over the cloth. The only thing I didn't like was that about 2 1/2 months after I bought it, the metal strips in the back broke in half. I don't know if I just wore it too much or what, but I was hoping it would last a little bit longer than that. I bought another one, though, hope it lasts longer. Maria

I love this garment! Not only does it fit perfectly, it is soooo much more comfortable than any other waist cincher/slimmer that I have tried! Although it is definitely firm, it is flexible just enough that I am fully confident in any movement I make and it stays in place! As an added bonus, I never have that bloated feeling during the day while I wear it! shopoholic from Renton, WA, USA

I wear my Squeem girdle every day. It is wonderful - gives me a flat tummy and does not show. I do not have that "girdled look" and do not have to wear stockings or panties. I have had many compliments and no questions. The Squeem is a bit of work to put on, is very firm at first but then comfortable. After a while I forget that I have it on and then do not want to take it off. Would not even consider going out without my girdle on. R from NYC

The cincher feels firm and the quality of the material is wonderful. I am very petite (5'1") so I found it to be a little bit too long, so bending over or leaning is hard for me. But I would recommend the product to anyone!!! Desiree from yonkers NY, US

It cinched well, but it forced my back fat up causing a lump right above the cincher.

Squeem Response: You are also probably in the wrong size. Make sure you measure your waist and go by the waistline measurement on the sizing chart. Alice from Woodland Hills/CA/USA

My wife bought me a Squeem corset because I have gained weight. She asked me to wear it so that I would look better - it is wonderful! I look great, do not have that "girdled look" and feel wonderful with it on. At first it is tight, then comfortable, and now I forget I have it on. I now have two - wear one, wash the other. I would not even consider going without my girdle and love wearing it. Robert from NYC

I love this thing! I bought it as a back support. It is very comfortable and after the first time learning all the hooks, it is easy to get on and off. I can wear it all day and I don't feel squished. The sizes are accurate so measure carefully and be honest. The only reason I gave this a 4 was because it is not quite long enough for my torso. I am very tall (6 feet) and it could use about 2-3 extra inches in length to be just right for me. Still, I will buy another one because it is just what I needed for my back. I am debating what to do about this item. When I put it on, it just didn't seem to hold anything in, almost like it wasn't there. I don't know if that means its just too big for me or what. I wear a size 18/20, but ordered just above my waist size (I have a 38, ordered the 40-42) because the XL seemed far below my dress size. I haven't decided to try another size or just exchange it for another girdle.

Squeem Response: Please go by the waistline measurement. You went a size up from what you were supposed to. You should try the XL, as it should fit you correctly. Samantha from Columbus, OH

Cinchers should be for small framed people. I have ordered two, returning both because of how they fit. It may fit great at the top but the lower part isn't fitting as well. It also flips when you sit or go to the restroom. If a person is paying this amount for a garment as such it need to fit better.

WOW! This far exceeded my expectations. I was nervous the first time I put it on, since it seemed tight and hard to fasten. BUT, it is just a learning curve. It stretched the first day I wore it, just enough to make it easy to put on and take off after that. I ordered one size larger than I thought I could "get away with" and this was a great idea, although I would say their sizing chart is very precise so you need to measure - it's dead on, so be honest with yourself! The nice thing is, there are two rows of hook fasteners, so if your water weight tends to vary, you are covered. I got this to use as a back support for sports. I have an illness that causes alot of truncal obesity (plus the prednisone I take to treat the illness does too) yet I still participate in the same sports I always have - equestrian, tennis, etc. This is the ultimate back and abdominal support - long enough, NO rolling, NO shifting. Yes, you will sweat under it a bit (nothing like those useless neoprene thingies) and you'll sit up straight, and you'll definitely be aware of this meanie the first day, but it becomes a second skin and postural teacher. Ordered another one and the one with bra straps too, as when I LOVE a product they tend to stop making it. Anyway, I am also a therapist and would recommend this product to my patients. THANKS HerRoom for stocking this! Linda from Mooresville/IN/USA

This is a quality product, very well made. I ordered my normal size; it fits perfectly. Using it mostly for back support; it is the best product I have found so far. (Wish I had found it years ago - those drugstore waist cinchers are garbage.) I saw the review that mentioned a rubber odor, which delayed my decision to order; but so far, I have not detected any rubberlike smell. Glad I did not order the one with straps; it supports extremely well without the need for straps. Kim from North Carolina

I love it. I am overweight and working on it. When I wear the Squeem, it helps me to stand up straight and eat less. It also makes me look 10 pounds lighter, or so I am told. It helps to hold in the "muffin top". Thanks. Janet from Seneca, SC, USA

I can't get comfy in this thing. And I don't mean it's too tight, or too constricting, or whatever...I'm prepared to live with that. But, yesterday when I put it on, one of the vertical "bones" (?) on the right was bulging out like it had lost all its hold. Everyplace else, it was fine. Now today it's all fine on the right, but everything from my waist up is being cinched and everything from the waist down is pooching out ridiculously. When I first bought it, it held everything in well...this is about my 8th time wearing it and I feel it is useless for the belly portion between my belly button and crotch; everything is just as big as it was before. Bleah.

HerRoom Response: It sounds like you need to go up at least one size. Your symptoms sound like your garment is too small for you. Delamaine from Sammamish, WA

WOW - a waist cincher it is! I bought this product to help transition post baby body. This definitely tucks in my belly. It helps me have much better posture, being that I'm not able to slouch comfortably. It actually is quite comfortable to wear for the most part, although it doesnt breathe well. It does however stay put! I really think that it cinched me down a size! I would recommend this to anyone looking to slim down for events, or simply to make clothes fit better. Before I began wearing a Rago 6207 everyday I wore the Squeem 26C - it certainly did work but was very obvious. When I wore one my wife would always tease me and said that my girdle did show. On the other hand the Squeem did hold in my stomach, did not require stockings, and made me want to lose weight. The Rago is undetectable and comfortable - the Squeem always showed and was very tight - I could not wait to get the girdle off! Robert from NYC

I bought this item to wear under my wedding dress and have worn it many times since.
