It is much different than I expected. I expected a long straight slip. This has so much of a flare I need to take it in for alterations. I don't know if I read the descrlption wrong or if it was not clear but its too small of a purchase to return.

It's a fine slip, I am a little disappointed because even with the slip under my dress, you can still see my underwear through the slip. I will likely have to purchase a second slip to avoid this issue.

When I first opened the package, I thought, "Oh, my God...the waist is way to small." But then I tried it on, and the elastic completely stretched out, in a good way, to fit my waist. The slip is very nice, but the elastic around the waist is very cheap looking and flimsy. I had to put a safety pin in it to keep it up. Was thinking about sending it back but would be a waste of time.

It's been a challenge to find simple half slip. HerRoom has done it! Perfect length for a maxi. So comfortable and lightweight, I truly forget there's a slip under my skirt. I wish the color was closer to nude than ivory. The fabric could be a bit softer but may get softer over time. I ordered one in ivory and one in black. Both are exactly what I wanted. The waistband on this is so soft and comfortable, I was pleasantly surprised! Much superior to the 27" Snip it Slip from the same company. As soon as I pulled this slip out of the package I was pleased. I could feel the quality of the fabric. It is of a nice weight, silky, good quality. The size is true. And the length for me, tall, is good. I am very pleased with this purchase. This item arrived quickly and the price and shipping are reasonable. I will consider this site should I need more lingerie. I had looked EVERYWHERE (for a long time) for a full length skirt slip before I found and bought this one. I wanted a slip like this one for it's length, so that I could wear half-lined sheer skirts and dresses of maxi length without showing my legs or even the shape of my legs, because those were the most common maxi dresses and skirts, and it would annoy me so much to find ones that weren't fully lined. Now, I no longer have to worry when I find a beautiful skirt or dress only to find it's half lined! The fit is great, it's nice and flowy, but not too flowy, and it really keeps skirts and dresses from sticking to your thighs and legs. The quality of the fabric and stitching it great too, it's definitely worth the price, and it allows you to buy all the cheaper skirts and dresses that are only half-lined, so it's kind of an investment, because you get so many more skirts and dresses out of it. I bought one in all 3 colors. Trust me, the ivory versus the white makes a difference, especially under a lace skirt. I'm 5'2", 125 lb, heaviest around my hips and butt, normally wear size 2s, and the small fits perfectly. Oh, and I did purchase the shipping insurance, just to be safe, it's $2 more, and if I was already paying so much for the slips, it would really suck for them to get lost in the mail, so consider that.
