The shape and fit were very good. However, I would prefer it to have have a longer leg, not capri and be made of a softer fabric which would make it more comfortable. The fabric used is very stiff

After reading ALL of the reviews before purchasing this item, I took notes, and ordered up a size, using the size chart provided. This item provides firm control, like girdles "back in the day", which it what I was searching for. So hard to find these days! Yes, it does take a bit of effort to get on, but once you get it on, it is very comfortable. Finding your correct size it key!

FANTASTIC!!! You must measure your hips because that's the only way this garment will fit. I'm a size 14/16 and according to my hip measurements I needed a size 4X... it fits perfectly... it smoothes away cellulite on my thighs and the tummy panel flattens my stomach... make no mistake you must measure your hips then check the size chart. The material is durable but flexible so you can move.

It's so important to actually measure your body before ordering - don't go by your clothing size!!! My waist is 27" and my hips are 37". I ordered a Medium, based on the size chart and it fits perfectly. You do have to wiggle into it, but once on, it's both extremely comfortable and flattering. My silhouette is firmer and my backside is uplifted. The fit is supportive, but not too tight. A+

This is by far the best pant liner I've ever found to keep things in place. It's like the "girdles of old!" I agree with comments about it not being true to size. I normally wear a 1X-2X, but a 3X was impossible. Ended up reordering a 4X and a 5X. Kept them both. Dislike the roll down on the waist, but I remedied that problem w a long-line bra or a waist cincher. Wish they made a high waist style. Lastly, I cut the elastic off of legs to below the knee on the one that I wear w long skirts. No roll-up. I am stocking up in case this product is discontinued.

Love the garment, use it for many years. Keep buying it over and over again in smaller sizes, started with 2XL and got down to L, as I was losing weight. Wish the waist would stay up, it starts to roll down after a while. They should put a silicone strip on the waist, then it would be a perfect garment.

Too difficult to get on. I ordered up 2 sizes after reading reviews and still couldn't get this on. This would be for special occasions only. I would never go through the agony and risk of injuring my shoulders getting this on on a daily basis! I am 5' 7" and wear a 16, heavy thighs. This pant liner provides very firm support. It's a bit challenging to pull it up because the material is so stiff, but that's mainly the reason I ordered this garment. I wanted firm control and boy did I get it. I only wish it had a cuff top to temper the muffin top effect.

These fit small, but I did a lot of research online to try to make sure I got the right size. I'm 5'6" and 215lb I purchased the 3X and it is perfect. A little bit of a struggle to get into (as it should be with all shapewear) but comfortable and slimmer/smoother look when on and sorted :)

I love this shaper! I wore it under my wedding gown and it fit perfectly, was very comfortable even in 85 degree heat, no rolling at the waist and really smooths all the right spots. In fact, I wore it at the bridal shop when I went for my fitting and the bridal seamstressr asked were I got them because customers often ask her for a shaper like this one. I love this shaper! It make all of my dressy slacks look fabulous and really smooths my tummy and shapes my rear end. As one other reviewer said, "you won't mind it if your boyfrien sees you in this". She is so right! ;-) I was wearing this a week ago getting ready for work and I was trying to decide waht heels to wear that day so, I put on a pair of white pumps and was walkimng down the hall and heard my boyfriend holler "Oh ya baby!" Nedless to say, my ego was big enough to last all day. Buy these you wil love them and he may love to look at you wearing them!

Pros:- took me down one pants size with no discomfort!
-cute enough that you wouldn't mind your boyfriend catching you in them
-great firm hold including excellent tummy control
Cons: -Rago has the most inaccurate sizing system. I own many Rago items and the only thing to do is buy at least two sizes to try. Every style they make is sized differently. I wear an XS waist cincher, an L in this item (and I am only 100 pounds, ladies, with "normal" proportions!) and an M in their high-waisted, mid thigh girdle. Granted I might be able to FORCE myself into a size M in this style but this one is already borderline uncomfortable in the size of the gripping ring of lace just below the knee. And I have thin legs!
-i wish they had a style JUST like this that ended just above the ankles. I didn't like feeling gripped below the knee. Above the ankle would be so much more comfortable. But this is a keeper!

The only reason I give this garment a mere 2 stars is because of the inconsistency of the finished size. Last year I bought 2, 1 beige and 1 black, both in the same size. The beige one fit more snug as it was a bit smaller than the black. This year, I repeated the order. Now the beige is larger than the black in the waist and hips just a tad and it is also quite a bit longer in the legs and waist. All of them fit "ok", so I kept them but, they are not equally comfortable to wear. I wish they were all cut like the last beige one I mentioned because that one feels the most comfortable. If they were all like this one, I'd give 5 stars but it seems to be a crap shoot in getting this garment cut to the size it's tagged to be. Very sloppy manufacturing.
Rago Response:
Rago Shapewear is constructed of high compression fabrics knitted with 560 denier spandex which is very unique. The knitting process and cutting of garments can cause a variation unnoticed in inspection. This is rare but can happen . It should be noted that the rare inconsistent size variation , can change the shaping functionality rather misfit as it does with other garments like outerwear skirts, blouses etc. which are cut from static no stretch fabrics. In other words if smaller it will shoe firmer, if larger it will have less effective shaping. Some reasons for possible size variation could be consumers monthly body cycle changes, mislabeling in sewing area, finishing of fabric, top elastic measure variation.

This garment does a fabulous job of slimming my thighs and making clothes look smooth. It has a very high waist that tends to roll. I wish they would make one with a short waist to wear with the hipster pants that are popular now. Order a size bigger than you would normally order, as it definitely runs small.

This is a good investment piece, good quality but the sizing isn't even close. I usually wear a 1X, ordered a 3X (based on other reviews) and had to send it back for a 5X. Once you get the correct size it is a great garment. I gave 3 stars because of sizing problems, otherwise, it is a 5 star.

I really wanted this item to work. I'm 5'6" and 185 lbs and a little thick in the waist. Based on the reviews I read is why I ordered a 2x. It does a good job keeping the jiggle from happening in my thighs but it rolls down at the waist. I haven't worn it yet but I tried it on and walked around my home and tried bending to see how it would do. I'm afraid that a 3x won't give me the jiggle support in the thighs like this one does but I can't wear this one because of the rolling down in the waist. Overall, I would give it 5 stars it it weren't for the waist issue.

I do like this product and it is important to buy one size up from what you think you should wear. For example, buy a L if you are a M. It does provide very good shaping however the fabric is somewhat uncomfortable against my skin and it bunches up around the back of my knees which is also uncomfortable. I recommend softening the fabric a bit and fixing the bunching problem which would render it a fabulous product and one that I would buy again and again.
Rago Response:
We regret your dissatisfaction. We would recommend washing the garment to loosen the starchiness of the material. As far as the bunching, every woman is shaped differently so our Capri might be too long for you.

For me, this ran true to size, glad I did not go up a size. This is a serious piece of shapewear, if you are used to wearing Spanx, this will be a shock, but it works. I love it, I can wear pants one size smaller with it. Creates a bulge at the waist where it stops, wish it went all the way up to bra, but I wear one of the tank top shapers and everything is smooth and perfect.

I am 5’5” and weigh 175lbs. I was certain an XL would fit me so I ordered 3 of them! When they arrived I took out the first one and tried to put it on. Not in this lifetime. But I sure did like what I saw and held, so I immediately ordered 2 more in size 2X.
It takes me at least a minute to get the 2X over my thighs and back side! No joke. It’s a battle of the bulge! But when they’re finally on, I’m in heaven~!!! As tight as I have made them sound, and they ARE next to impossible to get on, I am not in the slightest bit of discomfort when they’re in place. The waist is perfect. No tightness or discomfort. Sit or stand in absolute comfort. My cellulite is INVISIBLE no matter how thin or tight my clothes are. I do not, for the first time in years, jiggle in any fashion. People tell me I look great, and that I’ve obviously lost weight! How cool is that?
Do I recommend this wonderful item? 50 times over. Just go to the page and read about “Rago 6269 Mid-Calf Pant Liner” and know that every word in print is Gospel. They’re that sensational. I’ll be wearing them for the rest of my life, no matter how long it takes to get them on or how much weight I eventually take off. Thank you HerRoom for making these available~!!

This is a very good compression garment- Smooths you from waist to below the knee. It runs VERY SMALL. I usually take a small in everything, but I needed the medium for this. It has a split crotch, which is handy for most people. But I needed firm compression on my inner thigh, which this did not have because of the split crotch. I found another brand Coocoon - no split crotch, that works as well and was less expensive. But all around, if you want to look smooth in pants, this will do the trick.

Though this item is well made. The sizing is totally inconsistent. I am a size 12. Some very slender jeans I wear 14. I ordered this in large and it is so tight it will not even clear my hips easily. This is a very very firm undergarment and is not the light support I was looking for, regardless of the size problem.

The garment could have been mislabeled, that is very unusual. I would suggest you try Rago shaper 518.

It fits, kind of snug. Not a big fan of the gusset on the side, as it makes it difficult when you're in a hurry. I have to pull the whole thing down to go to the bathroom.

Just what I needed. I had a little liposuction done and needed a compression garment to wear under clothing as I went back to work. This one offers excellent compression, not too bulky, and breathes a little.

I love this pant liner!!! It smooths out any bulge or imperfection and makes you look amazing under your clothes!! I love these so much I purchased two a few months ago and just recently purchased three more! These liners are the best I've found! I'm tall and I hate liners that stop at the thigh and makes that ugly line through your clothes. These come all the way to my calf and they don't ride up the leg or roll down off your waist! Absolute perfect liner and I love that they're available in my size! I also want to mention how pretty my package was packed. The purple tissue paper was so cute, it felt like I was getting a gift! Thank you Herroom!

I appreciate that the material used for this pant liner is NOT abrasive! I also love the fact that it is extremely durable. When I received it , I tried it on immediately to make certain I'd ordered the right size, thankfully I had. But the catch is that I tried it on using press-on nails I applied just 2 days prior and caused zero damage to the pant liner or my nails. Can't wait to wear it in public (under clothes) of course.

This is a great item for giving smooth lines under your clothing. Comes with a slit in the crotch that needs to be sewn shut before wearing, otherwise it is exactly what I was looking for.

The fabric is really scratchy and the size large ran really small. The Miraclesuit in a medium worked perfectly for my needs.
Rago Response:
This is an extra firm shaper so finish might seem scratchy. However this creates the hold. This product has been produced and shipped for over 30 years. After washing the finish will soften.

I have only worn one of the items (ordered two) and the second time I wore it, a seam opened on the leg. I was going to try to sew it. I hand-washed it, so it was not the fault of the washing machine. I have worn this item for years and never had a problem (finding it was more of a problem). I'm a little disappointed.
Rago Response:
This could have been a defect in the product.

This garment is a little hard to get on, but once on, it provides excellent support to smooth out bumps and bulges. The legs don't ride up and waist is comfortable. I would have liked the crotch to have been sewn closed and made of a cotton insert, but otherwise it's a great product. I recommend it if you can tolerate wearing very tight garments.

This item is fantastic. I've been wearing Rago Pantliners for more than 15 years. I buy the gloves with the grips on the finger to pull pantliner up so as not to rip or poke a hole in pantliner when putting it on.

I have been using this brand of pantliners for decades, and luckily the fabulous HerRoom still has them. I would not wear anything else - nothing holds you in or lasts forever like this product.

I'm by no means a true 5x like this makes you order. I agree with some of the customers that the material is definitely not something you would choose to put against your body as under garments BUT once you get it on you don't really notice the fabric. It forms your body and you certainly will have a must better looking shape. I haven't worn it yet for more than a few hours but will be soon. I feel it does exactly what it's meant to do!

Good product in terms of support and smoothing effect. However, the downside is that the material is a very stiff netting that is quite scratchy and they are very hard to get on.

I am sad the Rago company went out of business, and so glad Her Room has these pant liners - I have worn them for years, keeping my figure from jiggling around! I love these things, and they last a long long time. HerRoom Response: The Rago company is not out of business. It is still making/selling shapewear garments.

I LOVE this pant liner, I've been to many stores in our area and on vacations and no one seems to carry a pant liner for the thigh area. Although I'm a size small, I still need a pant liner for my thighs. i do wish the leg length was about 3 inches longer.Thank You Rago!

I have really been sold on Rago products. This is the first time I have ordered something that actually fits and does not roll up or down. It is extremely comfortable, very supportive and comes at a very affordable price. Thanks to "Her Room" for introducing me to Rago.

I ordered this garment after surgery. I do not have much strength on my right side. I was able to put this garment on alone. It holds with great support and is very comfortable. I am very pleased with this garment. I also went on the website of one of the large retailers and saw this garment at a much higher price. I was getting ready to order another "Rago" product. But, I will now order all of my personal garments from "Her Room".

I purchased this garment after having liposuction for post operative support. I am 2 years later, and continue to love the smooth support it gives me under slacks. It is very comfortable and does not ride up at the calves nor does it roll at the waist. I am ordering a new one as it has held up through 2 years of washing and drying. Now I want a new pant liner for the New Year! Thank you Rago for a great pant liner. I have tried other brands and was dissapointed with the difficulty getting into them and the way the legs and waist roll. It's Rago for me from now on!
