Sits a little lower than I thought that it would, but acquire to the photo. I know that might sound odd, but I'm used to the models being super tall chicks and so the ultra low rise panties fit me like normal. As for size I think the XL was accurate. I wear between 10 and 12 in clothes. The fit leaves something to be desired. I'm keeping them for the set but the black elastic trim/edging stretches but creates the dreaded VPL something fierce!
