Ordered 3X. It was too small. That was not Her Room's fault, but my own. When ordering this type of garment, you MUST measure according to the size chart. I'm 5'7" waist 39 and hips 52. The 3X was not my correct size, but the workmanship and quality is more that I expected. It holds without being super restrictive and provides outstanding body, and especially back support. I am going to order another one -- if I can find size 4X. Note: Be sure to measure according to the size chart as this garment has to be the right size to get past your hips. Very important!
