The size on the bra is 42D but the cups are very big, and not what I would call padded at all, they have a lining. I need padded due to prior surgery and this bra did not work out.

These are the only bras I buy. The first thing I do is remove the underwires, as they are not necessary for my cup size. Then I enjoy the bras for years. They give me a sleek look underneath clothes. I would buy other colors if they were offered.

I was truly disappointed with these bras. I had purchased the same bras or at least I thought they were in 2016 but apparently they changed the 502'8's. I love the original because they had a lot of support on the side and they had three clasps.

The bra is very nice, but I had to return the garment twice, once in a 48D and once in a 48C. The cups did not fit my body. Even the smaller cup size left me with gaps at the outsides of the bra cup. I didn't see any reason to keep trying downward cup sizes. It was a function of the cup material and my large breasts. Normally I wear a 46DD, unlined bra. I wanted to try another size band (48) since my normal 46 was often too tight. I wanted seamless, underwire - and this was the only bra that met the criteria in a 48 band. I am disappointed but not surprised. Lined bras generally do not work well for me. I think it's a lovely bra, and if you wear the seamless lined bras, you may like this one. My problem was cup fit.

I really like this bra. I went smaller on the band size and use an expander as I am in between inches and have a hard time with the band being too loose. Unfortunately, and A cup was too small and a B is slightly too big but I don't have things squishing out the sides so I am ok with adding some stuffing. This bra is my size but has extra "room" inside and at the top of the cup, regardless of how tight I fasten it. It creates a kind of bubble. May be good for a younger or fuller figured person. And the padding seems more than the advertised "light".

I discussed at length the sizing with the cust rep. I was told it is a top seller...it isnt even that pretty..and doesnt hold any bosom of substance. It's nice and smooth all over- the straps and cups have no seams to show through shirts or chafe the skin, and the sides and back are plenty wide so they can squeeze just enough to hold everything stable, without biting in like a typical narrower back does. Although it is a very plain and comfortable bra it is flattering and not at all frumpy. Cups are padded enough for modesty but not overly padded. Pretty much flawless. Kitty from Minnesota

The comfort of this bra was outstanding, however the actual size of the cup didn't work for me. I initially ordered a D cup (which is what I measure) and it was too full all over. Returned (thanks, easy) and ordered a C cup but found the same issue--the cup itself is too full on the top of the breast. The fabric lining the cups is loose and wrinkled. The molded cups are malformed and do not fill out. This is not a bra that you could ever wear out of your house. Mary

This bra is very comfortable and well made. Even though I am small chested, the years have created a need for support! This is the only company that I have found to fill that need. Their explanation of the making of a bra was very helpful to me in choosing. My only other comment would be that it runs small. I already own almost a dozen Leading Lady 2-hook, rear-close underwire bras, which fit great and I wear a lot. So, I was happy to see this new color and ordered both a 38A and 40A. They were both too small. Go figure. They were both 3 hook rear close.

The band size of this bra is perfect, but the cup size runs bigger than I thought it would, which makes it have more material where the breast lays inside it. Didn't realize this until after I started wearing it, which means I can't return it for a small er up size. :( The website and pricing were wonderful and easy to use.

My measurements calculated to 46B, but since I do not project enough to fill the B cups I ordered this bra in 44A. It fits perfectly, and is extremely comfortable. It is important to me that my bra does not cause attention to itself under my clothing, and this one is great for that. The only thing that shows even a little bit is the clasp in back when my shirt gets pulled tight. Since the cups are seamless they do not show, even when I'm wearing a T-shirt. It's wonderful to find such a comfortable bra in a large band/small cup combination. Recently having dropped 150 lbs, I have fleshy parts to deal with but have always had smaller breasts. Finding a 40 in an A cup has been impossible. I have to accept the fact that finding a bra that fits is impossible. I can't count the number of bras that I have ordered and returned because they didn't fit. (Tried several different sizes.) And, because of being a 48A, retail stores don't/won't carry a size anywhere near this. Manufacturers assume that just because a woman is large around (46 and up) that she must also be at least DD's. I admit this bra came closest to fitting but 'the girls' tend to come out under the underwire. Guess I'll just go braless from now on.

Fits my 40A frame perfectly. Cups are fully filled, band is perfectly snug and comfortable and won't ride up to loosen the shoulder straps, and the underwire is not even remotely uncomfortable even for all day wear. The padding is very light but still provides an attractive shape, profile, lift, and coverage. The material is very smooth and high quality, and won't grab at shirt/blouse material. This seems to be the best bra I can find for my unusual A cup size, as I do need a little padding . However the bra itself seems to be designed basically for the fuller figure with heavy shoulder pieces and 3 hooks at the back. I was having trouble finding a store locally that carried my size, which is an unusual size, I was told. I looked online and found "Her Room". I love this bra--I'm a little bit hard to fit, (42A is a relatively unusual size) and HerRoom was patient enough to go through TWO exchanges with me. I just don't have time to go through the lengthy process of buying a bra at a store--and oftentimes, after trying on several, finding NOTHING that fits. Tried this bra because the bra fitting guide suggested this style. But, the cups are too close together and didn't fit correctly. So, returned it. What a shame, great price. After finally getting a professional bra fitting, I found out I have been wearing the wrong size bra all my life. After some searching, I found herroom.com. The center front is too narrow and too high. Therefore, acted as a minimizer. Very uncomfortable. At 40A why do bra companies think you need 3 rows of hooks to hold the 'girls' up when 2 would do fine? The only difference from a 38B is the size of your rib cage or your shoulder blades or both. It has nothing to do with the size of the 'girls'. Can't they figure this out and make a comfortable T-shirt bra where the cost is reasonable?

Way way too big according to the rules of measuring for a bra. All my 42G's except for this one, fit snug against the rib case and the cup is snug but nothing is overflowing. This 42 G is way too big in the band and the cup is way too small.

A WONDERFUL bra! No pinching, no rolling, no poking from the underwire and the straps stay up better than most. The lining is just right so there is no show-through under tshirts or sweaters. I usually wear a C cup, but a B in this maker fits me perfectly. For smaller cups I imagine this bra is probably decent, however, for larger cup sizes that are real and have actual weight to them, this bra is impractical. The steep angle on the underside of the cup is to add the little push-up you get, however, for a heavier bust, the breasts just end up sliding down causing the tips of the cup to cave in and giving you a very unappealing look. Not to mention you feel uncomfortable. Having to adjust 20 times a day is not worth the 30 minutes of looking fakely perky(between each adjustment). I love Leading Lady, but the shape of molding in the cup was not a good shape for a large cup size. The cup size was a correct fit, but there was excess space at the tip area that ruined the look of the bra. Suzanne from Sacramento, CA, USA

The description stated that it was the most comfortable under wire bra you'll ever wear. The underwires hurt me after wearing it for 5 minutes. I returned the bras.

The sizing was inaccurate in comparison to other leading lady bras. I had to exchange it for a different one.

This bra doesn't fit me at all (unless I continuously 'adjust' myself). My normal size is 46D and don't know how I received 48B (the 48 was my error, but KNOW I ordered a D cup). Good thing the D cup didn't come since the B is HUGE. The bra 'rides up', but that could be due to the larger band size...I guess bigger isn't always better! :-) I would NOT buy this bra again. This bra is a very comfortable bra. However the cups are about a half size too big and my less than perky breasts have a hard time filling them out. When I sit back or have had it on for a while the cups at the tips begin to fold. I do wear it at home though cause it is supportive and comfortable. Lori from California

I never thought I would like or even needed an underwire. With a small chest the underwire helps keep the bra from riding up, the wide band is very comfortable, and the light padding conceals and flatters. I am so tickled to finally find a bra in my size. This bra is comfortable and lifts and separates as it should. I am not used to wearing an under wire, not sure what to do about the fact that the bra tends to ride up in front. It fits very well in the cups. I like the padded, thick straps. Tried this bra because it was lower priced than the Moving Comfort Cara's that I've been wearing for years. I was astounded by it's FOUR hook strap in the back, very much over kill for the amount of support that this bra provides. The preformed cups do not hold breasts in place securely, so as you actively move around it does too. Not only was the support lacking but the cups seem to push my breasts together which is not good considering this will cause a yeast infection from continued contact. At any rate, I kept the bra because when I received it, it did not have tags on it, nor was it in a bag. Since the return policy is "unworn, unwashed with tag intact", I felt I could not in good conscious return this bra. I would not order this bra again. I prefer full support, encapsulation/compression bra, and that is what I will continue to purchase in the future.

Seamless & light foam lining, which I like for modesty under a tee shirt. I was glad to find a seamless bra which is not a minimizer style-- breast tissue is not pushed up into the armpits like in a minimizer style. Comfortable band... but band is a little larger than average for a 38, or maybe it's just more stretchy. If I could change one thing, I'd make the band firmer. Anne from MN, USA

I'm have a hard time finding a bra to fit me. I'm large around the band, but the cup size is not. So far I have just tried it on and have not wore it yet, but it seems to fit better than any other bra I have tried. I usually have to buy a smaller size to get the cup to fit and use an extender for the band to fit and it is still tight. This I don't have to do that. Its really hard to find a bra in a 42A cup and this one was no different. The molded cup was big enough for a large B cup or even a C; unfortunately the larger the band, the larger the cup.
