Your original rise thong now fits smaller than it used to. I am a size 6-8 and it couldn't be any smaller. I wish you would go back to the original one size fits all. I measured the waistband from when I first ordered a little over a year ago and it was at least an inch bigger- they were more comfortable and fit smoother. Still like them but I don't love them like I used to.

After years of wearing nothing but Hanky Panky original rise thongs and being completely satisfied, I tried the low rise and the beautiful retro thong. They are fine but cannot compare to the original--the original simply fits better, stays where you want it and does not bind in front or, horrors, in the back. I must be the only woman who doesn't like these thongs...I bought a few pairs after reading the great reviews, and I am not very pleased with them. I have never, ever found a thong that didn't ride up - especially in front! These thongs are supposed to be comfy but I find that the strap in the back (the thong part itself) is too broad to fit comfortably. And then the lace gets wedged up front, which is very uncomfortable. I'm just not very comfortable in them! I bought the regular size in the hopes that I wouldn't have to go to the plus size. I have returned them for the plus size style. If you have ANY doubts about whether you should go with the original size or the plus size item, you should up. On a larger body the original looks skimpy, feels too tight and makes you look bigger than you would in a panty that fits better. These are so comfortable and cute. I am in love with Hanky Panky thongs and will probably never buy another type of thong now that I have found these. I found the "original rise" to actually sit low (which I prefer), so they are fine with low-rise jeans and other low-waisted clothing. They lie flat against the body so as not to create lines under clothes, and they do not pinch or smash your body so they don't create any bulges. I am a small person (I usually wear a size 0 or 00 or XS or XXS) and was worried that the "one-size" would be too big for me, but they fit great. Ever since trying on my first Hanky Panky thong, I was completely and totally hooked. It is an excellent introductory thong, so to speak -- for women who have never worn them and aren't sure on how comfortable they'd be, or have bought cheaply made ones and felt uncomfortable all day. Friends who buy it in skepticism walk away adoring it. For those of us who wear and prefer thong cuts, it's amazing how they conform to any body. I wear a size 16, a friend wears a size 4. They fit us exactly the same. I am amazed at this and have no idea how that works, and am assuming dark magic. The only reason I give them 4 stars out of 5 is that it is my experience, no matter how shapely or thin the lady wearing the thong may be, the bands at the hips tend to bunch up a bit. Not in any uncomfortable way, but lingerie should never make you do a number of last minute adjustments every time you have to expose your hips. That said, it's never in the slightest uncomfortable and it's completely amazing to have a panty without any size be like this. I normally wear matching sets, and at a 36F, the bras Hanky Panky makes simply do not have enough structure. Thus, Hanky Panky is my underwear of choice for all the times that I need to be "unmatched", and it's universally what I choose to wear overnight, when I choose to wear clothes to sleep in. I was leary about the "one size" thing since I'm at the high end of that scale but they do fit well and they're pretty and comfortable! My only complaint is the price tag. I think $18 is a bit steep for undies but I set that notion aside and bought several pairs to match various bras I own. You can't put a price tag on feeling beautiful and sexy underneath it all! I have worn only the original Hanky Panky Thong for the past 2-3 years. My husband read an article in the Wall Street Journal about several business women that had tried them and loved them. These thongs are beautiful, well made and more attractive than any other type of undergarment. That said, they still bunch up in the crotch (even though I wear them low, as recommended )from time to time. I think this is an unsolvable problem, given the essential design and virtue of a thong. Maybe my expectations were too high with all the great reviews, but I did not love these. I was wary about ordering one size, but a size 2 reviewer said they fit fine. I am a 4, and thought there was too much material... actually now that I look at the model picture again, it was just like that. The waist fit fine, and the length was fine. i wear a size 14 and was up in the air about whether to order the o/s or x/l. i went with the x/l and they're perfect! flattering and fits great--no bulges and super comfy! i have not seen any reviews of the x/l, so if you wear a larger size, you should definately give them a try! Cute, cute, cute!

Very uncomfortable by the end of a day; the same bunching problem as with any cheaper brand I've tried. I actually had to repeatedly unbutton jeans to get my hands in to readjust the thong. I've given up on thongs altogether since even the cream of the crop is terribly uncomfortable.

HerRoom Response: It is possible that the bunching problem could be from trying to have the waistband of a thong rest on your waist. Thongs are really designed to rest below your waist. Perhaps if you tried to place the waistband lower you would find more comfort.

I recently read about the 4811 by Hanky Panky in a a magazine. The reviewer was very enthusiastic about it, so I decided to try it out and get a pair. I've always tried different underwear from time to time, looking for comfort, lack of pantylines, etc and have wound up settling for most, but not all that I wanted.
