Very soft lace, not at all scratchy. This particular item runs large. Go one size down. I usually wear a large which I ordered, and this model shifts around on me. For this one only I would order a medium. These are great for tight clothing, but not something like white pants where you would see the lace detailing (unless that's a desired effect!). The panties are beautiful and of a very soft and comfy lace, color is as it looks online. The size ran a bit larger than the size I selected per my measurements on the size chart. I had to exchange for the next smaller size. The return was very easy however, and I am very happy with my overall experience. I'll be ordering from you again! This panty is generally very good and I have purchased more. However, the lace fringe on one red pair started to unravel around the leg opening. Most were very good which is why I continue to order them. Unraveling lace around the edge obviously is not good. Our washing machine was on gentle cycle.
