I typically wear Elomi bras. In my opinion, Freya’s bands run small. I wear a 34 in Elomi but can wear a 36 in Freya. I love the support. It’s a great bra. I find it more supportive than the Elomi sports bra.

The Freya Sonic is my FAVORITE sports bra. I typically don't fill out sports bras that are more full coverage, such as the Panache sports bra, so this one is great. For me personally, the cup runs a size too big, but the band is true to size.
HerRoom Response: We appreciate your feedback. Keep in mind that the G(D6) cup in this brand is 2 cup sizes larger than teh G(D4) in USA and EU brands.

Really nice bra, but the size ran 1-2 sizes to small in the cups and 1 size in the band.

I would suggest sizing up in the band if you typically like your bands tight (32FF is my usual size), as this is a "true" band size. Ultra high impact and great for horseback riding, dancing, etc., while being comfy enough for daily wear.

I bought this bra the support. Unfortunately, it really digs into my armpits and very uncomfortable to wear. I can't imagine how anyone could work out wearing this bra. So still on the search for a supportive sports bra that is comfortable.

I love this bra! However, I am doing dog agility and this is not holding me as tight as I would like. I cross the straps. I do know that I am losing weight and I am in between.
HerRoom Response: This is a super popular and highly reviewed bra. Sounds like you may need to go down a band size and that would take you to a 34C in order to keep your same cup volume. Also, be sure to use attach the j-hook in back for added support. What a fun sport!

Honestly, one of the worst sports bras I have ever tried. Very little support and stretch, very poor fit. I had tons of bounce and since there isn't a lot of stretch, the band felt like it was putting too much pressure on me and I couldn't breathe.
HerRoom Response: It is noted that you also purchased and loved the Elomi el8041 sports bra. These two sports bras are very different. Elomi provides stable support with zero stretch and fuller coverage. This bra has seamless spacer foam cups which have some mechanical stretch to them. This bra is not a high impact sports bra like the elomi one. I hope this answers your question.

I used Victoria Secret band and cup size to order, and first try was too small in both band and cup. Sized up 1 size for each, and fit is perfect. Bra feels a little rough around edges where stitching is, otherwise, love the fit, shape, and support

Pretty disappointed, I purchased in the light pink color and it has a lot of show through... and the inner design is odd the "lining" is only an inch of the border of the bra, thus no lining over the nipple.. hence the show through. very weird.
HerRoom Response: Your review is very curious. The cups are contour meaning they are made with a light layer of foam for modesty. The lining you are speaking of is actually an inner support sling which we both show in an image and explain in our details. This sling helps to support your breasts during high impact activities.

The only problem this bra has, it let's too much flesh hang out under arms. Should be wider there.
HerRoom Response: The sides are 3-5/8" tall, so have good coverage. It sounds like you need a larger cup size. That underarm bulge should be contained in your cup. Be sure you are also pulling your tissue into the cup and ahead of your underwire.

This is not a good sports bra for large-breasted women. The cups are that soft foam that most bra cups are made of now, and they actually insulate the breasts, holding heat in. I get the feeling that this bra was not designed by someone with boobs!
HerRoom Response: We are sorry you are not happy wtih this sports bra, but we could not disagree with you more. This brand does a terrific job with large cup sizes. The cups are made with spacer foam that breathes so it does not insulate and keep heat in. It is a best-seller and has high ratings.

freya/ fantasie greatfit 4me. this one not so much.gives me strange shape, so odd, since the other bras give my round firm 32gg complimentar shape. disappointed, sent back/ prefer greatly the panache wireless, support & keeper 4runs!
HerRoom Response: Because you are petite the underband on this sports bra is going to be problematic for you. And, this bra is probably just too big all around for a petite figure. You left a 5 star on another sports bra that is wirefree. Again, these wires are probably too larger for your frame.

Ordered a 28" band. Received a bra that was labeled as a 28, but the bra is only 23" around, and not stretchy enough to expand 5". Now I'm stuck with paying return postage, re-ordering, and waiting again.
HerRoom Response: There is no correlation between your band size and the actual measurement of a resting band. The designers calculate the length based on many factors including the elasticity of the fabric.

The bra is great, but the size chart is off. I wear an I cup in US, so the chart recommended a G in this bra. Got it the day after my old bra gave up the ghost. This cup is too shallow. I would have returned it for a GG or H, if I'd had a backup sports bra. So I wear it anyway. It's comfortable and looks good. Keeps the girls from hitting me in the face.

If you are shopping by Her Room's universal cup size measurement, order 1 cup size up. Freya brand runs small in the cup. If the sizing was accurate, this would have been great. Nicely constructed. The "girls" have plenty of support without the uniboob look. I find that the Freya band tends to be a bit longer compared with the bras that fit me best. I am already in the middle hook row in this new bra which doesn't give me much room to tighten up when the bra stretches out. I will switch to a 30DDD next time I order. I like it well enough to reorder.

This did not fit right. I think the cups are small, & they push your breasts out to the side, so it was very uncomfortable. I do not have much fat under my arms as my breasts are pendulous, not wide. I would not buy this if you have pendulous breasts and don't want them pushed out to the sides under your arms. I would also go up a cup size.

I really wanted this to fit. I want to call and figure out what size to get. This was VERY tight in the band and cups seemed to run small.

The underwire could be better padded; this feels rather hard around the ribcage. The interior seams are scratchy so I constantly fidget while wearing. Though it fits overall, these deficiencies make the bra uncomfortable. I have worn Freya's day bras before and been pleased.

This bra seemed comfortable until I exercise in it and was left with chafe marks on my rib cage. I have longer legs/shorter torso. Perhaps the bra design is not ideal for my figure and the band was too long.

The band is teeny bit snug, otherwise a fantastic sports bra. No uniboob. The material is interesting, it's sort of squishy. When I put it on, I initially felt seams rubbing, but after I adjusted the fit, I had no issues. Would buy another one.

I got this sports bra because I am a distance runner training for a race. My old UA bras were all stretched out. Felt nervous about ordering online for a bra, but they don’t have my size in the stores. This bra lifted me up, packed me in, and felt very secure during my run. Not as uni-boob as most sports bras. Still not sure about my size, because the cups seemed not as roomy as a D would be, but is comfortable and does a great job for my running purposes. I love the colors, comfort and stability of this bra. I give it an A-.

This bra fit perfectly and was well made. I am very disappointed in the comfort. The band at the bottom comes too far down your ribs and digs in even if you put it on a loose hook closure. I feel I wasted my money on this as I can not wear it.
Freya Response: If you are experiencing sensitivity around your rib cage while wearing this style, then we suggest trying a sports bra from our sister brand, Elomi. The Energise Underwire Sports Bra (EL8041) features an arched center panel that is great for high tummies and shorter torsos.

This is the second time I've purchased this sports bra -- it's definitely the best out there. Sometimes the seams get a little itchy on the front side of the straps and it's hard to guess which size I will be, but I still recommend it highly. Also, it's durable and will stand up to years of wear and washing -- I still have my first one which is 2.5 years old and worn often.

Best sports bra I've ever purchased! Love how it feels and looks - which is really saying something for a sports bra. Typically, sports bras turn people into uni-boobers and flatten and squash them.... Not this one. It accentuates your shape and supports at the same time. Love it!

Freya sports bras have ZERO BOUNCE CONTROL! It is no more support than wearing a normal underwire bra. I wear a 28HH in Freya, Curvy Kate and Panache. But all three of these companies sports bras SUCK in 28HH! What works for me is layering 2 bra styles from Shock Absorber the Multi-sport in 30HH and the Run Bra in 32 G. That is my holy grail no bounce run 4+ hour sports bra combination!
Freya Response: If you are normally a 28HH in regular bras your sister size would be a 30H. Being in a cup size too big could be what is causing the bounce. We would also recommend trying Epic AA4004 in a 30H many of our customers believe it provides more stable support than Core.

I'm not sure that this was the best option out there but haven't tried many underwire sports bras. After a full day of use, the material gets very itchy and I've found the underwire area to be mildly uncomfortable. The fit is generally good, though the straps are somewhat difficult to adjust (it's very stiff and hard to slide up and down). Not much support in terms of controlling bounce but I planned to use for dancing, when I hate having the notorious "uniboob"...

It holds me firmly (no jiggle or bounce), the straps can go over each shoulder separately or connect to one another in back so they don't show outside my shirt, and they encapsulate my breasts for zero bounce. Also they pretty enough and colorful enough to be worn without a shirt, however I'm too modest to wear them that way.

I like the sports bra. It seems to be constructed well. I had a different style of the Freya sports bra for 5 years before the wire started coming out. Its comfortable and I like the wide padded straps. I don't like the shape that it gives me. The bra seems to push out my breasts making them look wider when worn alone. Since I am so heavy I normally wear the sports bra and a tank with a built in bra so hold them down. With the tank my breast sit more center with my body (which is ok). Overall it is a good sports bra and I will be keeping it.

This bra works well as an exercise bra for limiting movement of the breasts. I only gave it 3 stars because it's rather rigid and not the most comfortable. It's not bad but it's not great. Does the job but doesn't make me happy to wear it.

It is snug, very snug. Girls don't budge an inch. In fact, if you wanted to breath a little better I would go up one size around. I have some bra extenders so I am keeping it. But I love the way it supports me, very cute color and comfortable to wear. I have had a problem the past few years of the eyes coming lose on my sports bras (upon hooking it initially) and it did on this one too. Figure since it has occurred with different brands and different sizes maybe this is just what I should expect? I will just fix it by sewing them tighter and hope it helps.

Fits well, but not functional for me. Nipples show through the material, despite categorizing this item as a contour bra, so I would have to cover up with more than a T shirt in public. The cup material isn't firm enough to control high-impact bounce, and the inner support slings weren't much help.
Freya Response: Perhaps give our crop top sports bra Epic (AA4004) a try. This style provides full coverage, with a molded inner cup for no show through, and offers the maximum level of support and control. Perfect for every type of workout including high impact.

This bra is great! I wore all day for the first time the other day, but aside from it feeling tight as a result of being new I loved how "non-bouncy" it was. By the end of the day I was pulling the band away though. Also, I seemed to have a little spillage on the sides, but not enough to return it.

This is a great bra! I often have to wear two sports bras to run comfortably, but I can wear just this one! My only comment is that I wear a 36 in all my bras, and this one was really tight. I may recommend considering going a size up in the band. Overall, very pleased!

This sports bra not only covers well and eliminates bounce, it is very attractive! It can be worn with several options: straps worn over the shoulders in traditional style or connecting in back to be worn as the sole sports top or underneath a racer back top.

This is my most favorite sports bra! I am a runner and having bigger breasts, I need a bra that hold the girls in place and keeps them separated. The Freya is perfect for that. The racer back option in the back tightens things up a bit more and is perfect for under racer back tanks. The front of the bra is smooth and shows NO bumps or seam marks. I highly recommend this bra. Herroom was very quick to get this delivered too!

Nice that 40B sizing is offered. Good shape. Comfortable. Nice colors. Too much jiggle allowable. Cup could be more supportive for anti-jiggling.
Freya Response: Stacy, the breathable spacer fabric cups in AA4892 keep you cool and comfy which is always a wonderful thing. However spacer fabric cups will not give you quite the level of support of a bra featuring cups with a firmer fabrication. If you're looking for ultimate "zero movement" support, check out our Crop Top Sports Bra (AA4004). This style has been tried and tested to reduce pain by 97%, so you know you're getting unparalleled stability and support!

This is a really nice sports bra! The colors and design are very attractive, too! I like that the straps are convertible for wearing with different style tops. However, I do find that it is more comfortable when the straps are worn traditionally, rather than clipped together between the shoulder blades. I am large busted and, due to age, my breasts tend to sag and bounce. Therefore, I need good, firm support, which this bra definitely offers! I have recently gone down in clothing size so I took my new bust and band measurements before ordering my new bra size, according to HerRoom specifications. After a 4.2mph power walk and cool down, over six miles, with lots of swinging arm movement, I did experience chafing on my back from the tightness of the bra's band. This might be due to my new, smaller band size??? I do recommend this bra!

This bra would have been wonderful had the straps been just a little bit longer. It felt as if someone had their hands on my shoulder pushing down. It fit everywhere else - band and cup - just uncomfortable straps.
Freya Response: Did you hook the J-hook, because that will shorten the straps quite a bit. Also, did you let them down completely? Otherwise it might be you have an extremely long upper torso. Perhaps another style would work better for your body type. Have you tried AA4004? This style is a crop top sports bra, with maximum support - providing even more stability than AA4892.

There was no way I could get into it by myself with the hook in the back across the straps. It wasn't bad once I got it on with hubby's help, but definitely not practical.
Freya Response: I know what you mean, I can't hook the J-hook by myself either, my arms just aren't flexible enough. My friend on the other hand can do it by herself - it's not fair. You may need a significant other or friend to help you hook the J-hook. Luckily, this bra works great with or without using the J-hook!

PERFECTION. Thank the Universe! I bought this bra for a high-impact martial arts class where I am often the only female student. I try not to, but I sometimes get a little self-conscious of my large chest. But with this bra, I can actually jump and run without worrying about bouncing around like crazy. I don't feel any jiggle or tugging with my movements, it's as if my breasts just stay still on my chest, which is truly amazing! Even with the cute V-cut front, I can roll around on the ground without being afraid of falling out or having to readjust. This is great for any sport where your hands are in gloves or otherwise not free to fuss with little straps. The bra also keeps a natural, youthful shape to the breasts that no other sports bra I've ever tried does. I love this brand, and I think it helped that I was sized in a local shop when I bought my most recent Freya regular bra. 100% would recommend to anyone, but especially young women athletes for a feminine, modern, worry-free, modest hard-core sports bra.

This bra sits very comfortable and closes very comfortably. It has a bit more bounce (but not too much for running) than the Freya Sports Crop Top, but this is outweighed by the much more comfortable position of the shoulder straps in the racerback position.
The straps are very short (barely fit for me for a racerback bra) and with the molded cups, I needed to go two cup sizes up from my regular size.

I didn't really like this bra. It doesn't have as much support as I thought a sports bra should have. I had A LOT of movement...just a much as a regular bra. The shoulder straps were not comfortable, I think they should have more cushion/padding. Also it didn't separate the breasts and didn't press against the breast bone.
Freya Response: Bra Straps that are uncomfortable and need more cushion indicates that they are doing too much work and the band needs to be snugger. When cups don’t separate and the center front of the bra doesn’t rest against the chest wall, the cups are typically too small. Please see Tomima’s Bra Fitting Secrets: Secret #1 and Secret #2. With that being said, consider trying Freya’s Underwire Crop Top Sports Bra, high performance with full coverage from a center front extension– 38GG.

As a plus size customer, a good sports bra is very challenging to find. I like this bra because it provides the support that I need while exercising. The girls are kept securely in place without the worry of giving myself a black eye! It gives my bust a natural shape under my sport tops rather than flattening my bust line. Also this bra is very pretty as opposed at looking like colored medical bandages.

If you want to sweat and look good while doing it, this is a great bra for you. However, if you are really critical about your sports bras like I am, you might find this doesn't support or immobilize as much as you might hope. I found the racer back useful for increasing support, but it created too much tension in my back. After trying this out for a 5miler I have transitioned this bra over to yoga and indoor work outs that don't involve running but do involve everything else. I am personally more of a fan of Enell encapsulation bras for running. However, if you want to look sporty and don't run for long distances this might work well enough for you! Its very well made and doesn't wear out much over time.

I've been wearing the panache sports bra in 28GG and wanted to try the Freya. I definitely need to go up a cup size for this one but I will be returning unfortunately because the straps did not go short enough for my small frame.
Freya Response: Perhaps for your petite frame, Freya’s Active Underwire Crop Top Sports Bra would work giving you maximum support, no need to go up in cup. It is true Freya’s sports bras have limited strap adjustments but when the “slide-hook” fastening on straps are adjusted to racer back this will shorten straps even for the most petite frame.

OMG, This is the best purchase I have ever made in sports wear. It fits the girls perfectly. I was a 38G before but I have lost a little bit of weight and so an agent on chat told me to go to a 36GG (I would have gotten 36G), and I tell you, it is the best thing ever. I love running but was limited by my boobies flying everywhere but now they stay in place and no matter how fast I run, there was no discomfort. My friends just love it. The bra does not itch. I'm very happy with this sports bra and will soon be ordering another. I love that my breasts look normal in this bra, not smooshed together into a uniboob. I also love the hooks on the back to convert it into a racerback bra to match different clothing types. I found that the bra feels tighter and more supportive in the racerback mode, so that's what I use for higher cardio activities. It works well to wear the bra with regular straps for things like kayaking. My one concern with this bra is the lack of modesty coverage. It's a good thing I mostly do activities solo or with my husband, because I would be super self-conscious about the "headlights" in a group of people. The front material of this bra is thin enough that there's no escaping them, even on hot summer days.

This bra is true to size, comfortable and very supportive. In the descrlption it says medium coverage. Its actually giving me full coverage. I have been using panache sports bras 3 years ago and just switched to freya because panache kind of pushes them to the sides. This one gives the same look may be a little bit better than panache. I definitely love the racer back.it's a heavy duty bra and a bonus it's machine washable.

I love this bra and keep adding new ones whenever I see a sale. It is a teeny, tiny bit scratchy, but this doesn't bother me. The support is exceptional (it has a very comfortable underwire), and it is seamless, so it looks nice under workout t-shirts. In addition, it is cut low enough for some of my lower cut t-shirts. If I want to buy any racerback tops, it will convert. The colors are cute to practical. I follow the manufacturer's instructions and wash this bra in the washer (cold) with the rest of my gym clothes, and it comes out great, wire and all. Amazing.

I bought this sport bra because I have joined a ladies boot camp. I got to wear it for the first time last week. It was wonderful. Thank you for the great service, especially because I had to return the first one. I had a little with figuring my right size. Will defiantly be ordering from you again. Thanks

Very comfortable for a workout bra with an underwire. I purchased this bra so that I could wear it under hiking clothes when I would be out and about (not just going to a gym and then home). It was comfortable and looked good under clothes. I would buy another.

Fits very well without squishing together. Great support for just about everything, although, I do not run. Light fabric without being to flimsy.

Great bra. All day comfortable. It has wide straps. Good coverage, and is supportive enough for light exercise.

Love this bra. I have a short frame and it's been impossible to find a bra where I can adjust the straps up to where they need to be while not having the front wires of the bra come out above my breasts. This one finally does it! The front is cut down low enough that it doesn't come out above my shirt neck line. It totally encapsulates and doesn't squish. The sides are nice and wide and stays that size all the way to the back making it very supportive. It has light padding but it wicks sweat very effectively and doesn't get soaked like other padded sports bras have done with me. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was for the price. Wish it was a little less pricey so I could have afforded to buy more than one.

compresses well for medium impact, I like the j hook for a racerback option. Nice shape under workout clothes. The band does fit really snug so you may want to order up one band.

I am very pleased with this bra, now that I have the size that fits. I have recently starting switching to a 30 band (from 32) and found that my usual E was not amble enough. I use this bra for everyday wear and find it flattering and good at hiding the "headlights" without being bulky. The conversion ability is a nice bonus.

This bra has a great fit and comfort overall. It also isn't too warm while while working out. It is easy to launder and dries quickly.

Does not eliminate 100% of bounce, but it eliminates 90%. Plus, it's easy to get on and take off. No wrestling or trying to pull something over the head. I also like that I still have 2 separate boobs.

This is a sports bra that not only looks great but feels good & gives great support. I was a bit worried about being able to connect the T-back hooks butt they adjust up/down so they are easy to hook by reaching behind my neck when I am wearing the bra.

The molded bra is comfortable considering that it is a sports style and is constructed to be more supportive. My one problem, and it is not major enough to return it, is that the cup size is smaller than the same size in a non-molded style. The bridge does not fit against my chest as closely as I like. I would think that mfg. would increase the cup size slightly to allow for the molded thickness but they don't, at least not in this model.

I ordered several sports bras and kept 2 and sent this one back. I liked that it felt like a real bra and gave me a shape like a regular bra, but it didn't have the support I need or keep me in place how I like.
Freya Response: Lea, you may have better luck with our new sports bra style Active Underwire Crop Top Sports Bra AA4004 which has a firm moulding and a structured cup. It will encapsulate like a regular bra but will give much stronger support during high-impact activities. Thanks for trying Freya!

As an active busty mom of three, I had tried the attractive and expensive larger size bras but always ended of adjusting my self or felt like I was spilling out. I finally decided to go the 'sporty' route and I am so glad I did. I bought the nude and I want to buy the other colors. I am very full on the top portion of my breasts and this bra holds everything in perfectly!

This is a lovely sports bra, that will also give a decent hold for med-higher impact workouts. I initially purchased this for my strength training days, given the lower cut design. I was very pleased with the back hook for connecting the straps. This offers more compression/hold, while still being comfortable for upper body movement. I was just pleasantly surprised that this Freya sports bra will offer more support than I anticipated.

This bra is too pricey to have ANY problems; yet my problem is fit and comfort. Most uncomfortable and ill-fitting for my body.
Freya Response: Shirley, we’re sorry that you experienced issues with fit and comfort in your Freya sports bra and we would love to know what these specific issues were so that they may be addressed. Not all bras are suitable for all bust types, so it is possible that this is just not the sports bra for you. Thanks for trying Freya and good luck in the future!

This bra is most certainly not a "high impact sports bra." I am a dancer so it is imperative that my bras fully support me when I am jumping in the air. This bra did nothing for me. The slings on the inside of the cup are meant to encapsulate the breasts individually, but they do not. The slings actually worked to push my breasts downward so that no matter how much I tried to tighten the straps, I never felt the lift and support that I needed. I even tried using the razorback option, but this only made the bra dig into my armpits and cut off my circulation as well as my range of movement. Another thing was that the cups were completely see through when held up to the light. This is a sure sign that the bra cups were manufactured with very low quality fabric. If you are looking for a sports bra, I advise that you stay clear of this one.
Freya Response: L, the Freya sports bra that you were able to “see through” is constructed with material called spacer cup fabric. This is two layers of material knit together allowing air to travel throughout the moulding and between the fabric to provide a cooling effect. This is the ideal material for a moulded sports bra as it helps to keep the wearer from sweating during workouts versus traditional foam moulding. The knit can be seen through when held up to the light. We’re sorry that your Freya sports bra did not work out for you this time, as not all bras are suitable for all bust types. Thanks for trying Freya!

I brought this bra for my granddaughter about 6 months ago and she nearly wore it until it was rags. She ignored all other bras and continuously washed and wore this bra because of it's comfortable fit. Of course, I purchased two more since she runs track and found these bras did the job.! Would highly recommend it.

This bra is great for workouts. It has A LOT of support. I bought it because it has an available clasp to turn the back into a racerback. Unfortunately, doing so makes the bra cups fit differently. I have to leave it un-clipped if I want full range of motion in my arms.

I just purchased this bra and it is awesome! When it comes to a sports bra, I need support with as little bounce as possible because I am chesty, small framed and I run a few miles a day. I keep reading many reviews for this bra and others saying they are too tight. I do not know about everyone else, but I want my bra to be tight and supportive. This new Freya bra kicks butt! I think it even makes me look smaller and I am separated and I do not bounce! Awesome bra! I have been waiting for this bra since February. I will definitely purchase another one in the future. You can't go wrong with this one! I'm 5'3, 125lbs and a 30GG as a reference. If you are chesty and active or are looking to become active, this is the sports bra you want! Awesome bra with great support, probably the best I have ever seen!

Excellent support and uplift plus no bounce, which is not an easy thing to achieve when you are a 40E. My only objection to this bra is that is gaps a little at the bandeau line. Not sure why...but it's a minor quibble.

I love the style but it was too small, in spite of the fact that it was the size I wear in other styles. I've asked for a larger size but have not yet received it.

Very supportive without cutting under the armpits. Easy to get on and off because of the back clasp - no pulling the garment over the head, like many sports bras. Does not cause the dreaded "uniboob." Freya makes the best sports bras I've ever owned. So far, it is holding up well to frequent machine washing.

Good fit and support. A bit tighter than regular Freya bras, but helps keep everything in place when exercising. Great fabric and no seams to irritate.

This sports bra is unlike any other I have tried, it doesn't give you uni-boob, quite the opposite, in fact, it fits very much like the Hermione bra by Elomi, it is lightweight, actually gives you some shape and enables the overly-bosomed among us to exercise without constant adjustment. I would say it fits a little on the large side, so if between sizes I would go down rather than up, there is a "J-hook" ,which isn't apparent in any of the photos, which you can use for firmer support . If you haven't had much luck with sports bras try this one, it is a game-changer.
