Perfectly smooth fit, easy on, good looking under legging without adding bulk. I wash inside out and they are long wearing and color remains fast.

Perfect fabric and colors under leggings and peeking out of Mary Janes. Falke socks have become my favorites. A German brand that has acquired Burlington in US.

Very fine and smooth fabric. It does pinch my ankle and leave lines. I only buy because the garnet is so perfect with the antique red legging and pantaloon wardrobe pieces I own.

I purchased a pair of the socks in Europe while on vacation. I liked them so much that when I returned to the US I tried to find another pair. I was very excited that HerRoom carried them. These socks are very light weight, and maintain their shape. Perfect to use with boots that are a little snug, or with dress trousers. I am a size 7 1/2 - 8 in US shoe size and the S/M size fits me perfectly. They are beautifully made. I wash them in a net bag with my delicates and hang them to dry. Yes, they are expensive, but the fit is so wonderful - they are worth the splurge.

I love these light weight European socks. However, the reason I pay so much for them is that my small foot (size 5 &1/2 shoe) is too small for the one size fits all sock available for much less in the U.S. The toes always flip around. So my reason for paying this much is purely size. There are no sizes in U.S. socks all of which are made in China. these stay up on the ankle pretty good, but I wish they would stay up better. That might entail using more spandex and might not be as comfy. Whenever I am in Europe I buy socks so I can have a choice of colors and designs in my small size. U.S. manufacturers take note. Those of us with small feet have no dress sock options. I buy youth sized athletic socks. Children's socks which I have tried do not come up high enough on the ankle.
