I never thought underwire bras could be comfortable. I have been proven wrong. This is more comfortable than my wireless sports bras and the fit is great. Also, it makes me feel sexy which is always a plus.

Sadly, this bra didn't work for me and I am returning it. The underwire was intense and uncomfortable just to put on, I can't imagine working out in it. Surprising, since my everyday Elomi bras are some of the most comfortable bras I've ever owned!
HerRoom Response: It is noted that you are petite in height. This bra has a lot of coverage. It is probably too much for your smaller frame.

This bra does separate very well. Wire stays against your skin. It's beautiful. The band is probably one size too big. The problem is the straps. I am 5ft 8in and I had to tighten them all the way. I still bounce. The straps are elastic, not good.

I usually love everything Elomi, however: I'm tall with a broad back; athletic and fit, and the straps are too short to use the J-hook racerback feature to hide bra straps or for comfort. So check if the convertible works for you, tall sisters!

This bra doesn't work at all for my size for running. The cup shape is so strange that I'm embarrassed. So little support that I have to pair it with a compression bra on top.
HerRoom Response: Your review is very surprising. This sports bra has been around for many years and is an excellent fit with almost 300 reviews. It sounds like your bra size has changed. Also note that Elomi is UK sized. This F(D4) cup is one cup size larger than an EU F(D3).

Plain colours are EL8041 and Multi colours are EL8042.
Both types are good 8041is just firmer material non-stretch over front.8042 bit more stretchy which is even better for day wearing

On the tag in my current garment is says 40 J US when my item from you arrived your tag stated 40M US and or course that was too large - the 40 J on your tag was a UK size, I wish they would be the same
HerRoom Response: Yes, UK brands such as Elomi are sold in UK sizing. This is one of the many reasons we pop-up the size chart - it allows you to compare your USA size to the UK size.

Great support! Only complaint is it is too wide for me between the breasts and points my breasts outwards so I don’t want to wear except for during my workouts. Otherwise I think I would love this one all the time.
HerRoom Response: We note that you are making a similar comment on other bras as well. You have a difficult size - 38D12 - and it sounds like you have touching breasts. You need to look for bras with a very narrow center panel or bras that plunge in the center. You simply do not have room between your breasts for underwires to come up very high. This is why we have our "measured" image so you can see their placement. Getting the right center panel will also reduce your east/west issue.

I really like how this bra feels and supports, that is until I get out and sweat in it. The underwire rubs and digs into me and is uncomfortable when I take my long hot humid walks and jogs. It's very frustrating. I generally love Elomi.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for this review. It's possible the underwires are too tall for you in the center. A better choice for you might be the Freya Dynamic AA4014 which is wire-free.

This is my favorite bra. Although this is a sport bra, I wear it all the time. It’s comfortable and it’s gives amazing support. I’m fairly active and it’s nearly impossible to find a bra that is supportive and doesn’t hurt my shoulders or neck. At my size, using the J-hook feature is more of a nuisance than an optional way to wear this garment. (The J-hook catches on stuff and sometimes gets in the way when adjusting the shoulder straps).

The cups are so restrictive that the bra is uncomfortable to wear. The J hook is a great idea but the straps are too short in this size to make it practical.

It is a sports bra but I wear it for everyday Therefore, I would never purchase this bra after looking at the picture posted. I have the nude or beige color. It is also very durable. I have to say o was a little disappointed about this one because I had the exact bra in nude and a cup size smaller before having kids and it was my most comfortable bra (obviously I pillow because my breasts are bigger now). The wire digs into my underarm a lot and made my rib cage just by my breasts very red and uncomfortable. I’m hoping it just needs to be worn a bit, but we’ll see!

Great bra. I have a hard time finding ones that give great support for my size. I’ve bn pleasantly surprised at the comfort & support. The material quality is excellent. Love the high front. Love love love this bra. It is my go to when losing weight. Workout with a large chest is hard and this keeps the girls firmly in place. I ordered this based on reviews I had read that it was great for long distance running. When I got it I was unsure about the pointy look and the super thick material, but I gave it a shot. It wasn’t bad for a quick run but it was super uncomfortable for a long run. The wires began to chafe and the material is so thick it became unbearable. Ugh!

I love this bra. I originally got it to work out in. However, I wear it nearly all of the time now for comfort reasons. I live in Houston, which is hot and humid most of the time, add that to menopause and moisture wicking becomes more attractive. The support is great for my 44GG girls. Sometimes, the center seam is very obvious under some shirts, but I can live with it for the support and comfort.

I love, love, love this bra. I tried other sports bras and hated that they just squished me flat and gave me a uniboob.. I like this bra almost more that my every day bras. It's perfect. Breasts look great and it's so comfortable and supportive.

This is my third one and pretty much the only sports bra I like to wear. I go to the gym 5-6 times a week and this bra compresses and encapsulates so that the bounce is minimal. I can practice yoga inversions without choking on my breasts?? and kickbox and jump with the rest of them. Of note: the band is slightly snug at first but loosens a bit after several (careful and hung dry) washes so I would recommend sticking to your size for optimal bounce reduction.

The bras didn't fit right and the material was very stiff.
Elomi Response: If your bra doesn’t seem to fit quite right, there is usually an issue with the size. We encourage you to visit the Bra Fitting Center on HerRoom.com for excellent information on finding your correct size. Also remember that the Elomi Energise Sports Bra is made from performance fabric that is firm and designed to support a full bust during high impact workouts, in addition to withstanding heavy perspiration during vigorous exercise.

I love this bra. As someone with a small ribcage and large breasts, finding a sports bra that will allow me to run, jump, and perform burpees without falling out or giving me a black eye is truly a miracle. I have tried so many other sports bra brands and non have worked as well as this one.
It's not flattering under tops, but I didn't by it for a night out, so that's ok.

I've ordered this bra before, so I'm familiar with the fit and quality, which were both excellent. My only problem was the wire broke through the underarm/side breast area, otherwise the bra also washed well. Based on my previous experience I decided to order another one, but the sizing is off, even though I ordered a size up in the band. Unfortunately, both the band and cup size were too small.

Too tight.
Elomi Response: The Elomi Energise sports bra was designed to give great support, even during your high impact workouts! A nice firm band helps to aid in this support. However, if you feel that your band is too snug, you can order a band size up and a cup size down. In your case, 42DD may me more comfortable.

This doesn't fit like I expected. It feels supportive but the cup size is too big. The details said the underwire doesn't extend to the center front but I feel underwire all the way up between my breasts and it does poke me. The details also said it has side support panels to prevent side spill but I don't agree. It feels like I have more side boob than out in front. Very disappointed.
Elomi Response: When wearing a sports bra, discomfort is typically caused by a size that is not quite right for your frame. To ensure that you are ordering your correct size we recommend utilizing the HerRoom Bra Fit Center to help you on your way to maximum support and comfort.

I think the only reason I'm giving this 2 stars is because it's not flattering at all. The bra basically makes it look like I have cone boobs. It's not rounded well to be flattering. But it fits, the color is ok, it supports and separates and I can work out without my boobs bouncing all over the place. So it does the job. It's still a very embarrassing shape though.
Elomi Response: We are happy to hear that this sports bra is doing its duty, and providing you with a bounce-free work out! The great support you are getting is provided by the seamed cups, which sometimes give a more “defined” shape. Also, the more you wear and wash your bra, the more it will conform to the shape of your breasts.

The fit of this bra is perfect! I've never been able to find a sports bra in my size and was quite surprised when this not only fit great but held everything in place during workouts. It's so comfortable on that I've even worn it as an every day bra. I'm in my late 50's, 5'4" 200 lbs. I know (ouch) I had even stopped using the gym because I couldn't find a bra that held me up and in but believe me this one does it all! going to order more when I can. Definitely recommend for large busted women. Thank you Elomi for making it and please NEVER discontinue!

For me, this bra has always run a bit small in the cups. I ordered up one Universal cup size larger than my other bras and am glad I did. This bra has fantastic support. The only drawback for me is how high the front rises on my chest. But this only means that I don't wear a v-neck or scoop neck with this bra.

This bra provides great support and lots of coverage. I have been walking and could not find a supportive sports bra. This one did give me very pointy profile at first but looks more natural now that it is broken in. It has a clasp where you can make the straps into a T-back.

Bra is very comfortable even when worn 18-20 hrs. Hold the girls in position with almost no jiggle while doing high impact movements. Really like the new colours. I have it in every colour. The metal hook on the straps that convert the straps so you can wear t-back tops is very strong unlike most other bras. The only thing negative is when you wash the bra the thread shrinks which puckers the seams across the cup. To avoid this I have started hand washing the bras avoiding getting the actual cup wet or after machine washing on delicate I stuffed the cups with crunched up tinfoil in order to stretch the thread while wet and let the bra dry. I'm waiting for the day they make these bra cups seamless that would be fantastic!

Only issue for me being a guy puts you out the front more so not so discrete! but support&comfort is beyond approach can wear alday in comfort i have to choose wisely as having H issues with P tumour&Fibro/Raynauds get tender&mark easily the double lined wires take care of that&last well handwashed 10+

There are things I love about this bra, and a couple of draw backs.
I love the cups! It's so hard to find an underwire sports bra, and then to find one for *ahem* ample bosom was fantastic. The seems in the front do not bother me, but they would not be appropriate under all clothing. The j hook takes a little patience and figuring out, but once you get it, it's easy. This bra seems durable and if good quality.
The negatives for me- the middle part sits flat against my breastbone until the underwire stops. The little bit of extra fabric on top of that sticks out at an angle. A minor detail, not that big of a deal. What bothers me the most is the banding at the bottom. It really digs in if I am sitting or laying. I think I may be one of those short waisted, tall , women who do not do well with banding.
Overall good bra. Will definitely try a regular bra from the same line.

After owning bras from several manufacturers (including Panache...wires popped out after only a few months of wear), I now own 7 of these...2 white, 2 black, a nude, a pomegranate, and just got the navy/lime one. These are pricey (watch for sales/coupons), but worth every penny, and hold up great! Sure, I get bounce, but when you're a UK 38G/US 38I, you have to expect a bit of that. TRY IT!

Very comfortable but the scoop comes up WAY higher than shown in the picture, at least on me. I noticed when I first tried it on that it seemed just a tad big in the cups, not nearly enough that a size smaller would have been better, but after washing it fits great with no puckering or extra space.

I bought this bra to wear after cancer surgeries; Elomi was my fav brand before, and now this bra works for my left breast It's healthy and US = M cup, Elomi = J cup, even though I bought a G cup in this style. I figured I needed the x-tra support. Totally works for me. The underwires are much more softer and flexible than my other Elomi bras, and is comfortable to wear after my rt mastectomy.

I am 5'7". I've been wearing this bra to the gym for the past two weeks. It is like is was made for me -- comfortable, supportive and easy to wear. I am not bouncing a lot due to a knee injury, so I can't say how well it would hold up. But for walking, biking, weight training, yoga and similar activities, this bra is ideal. If you already wear this brand, you can be reasonably sure that this bra will not disappoint! Highly recommended.

I really wanted to love this bra, but it seems to be not a good style for one who is both short and with very large, heavy breasts (USA H cup). It's simply too much material and too long straps. Sense the fit was off, I can't speak to support, but those who are 5'3 and under and very large-busted may have my experience. The search continues...
HerRoom Response: This is a lot of bra for someone with a short torso. We recommend trying to j-hook the bra if the straps were too long.

This has turned into my go to bra any time I am doing an activity that might result in extra bounce. I originally purchased it for use during martial arts training but it's so comfortable and supportive that it's use has expanded. The three panel cups and wide band really keep everything in place without feeling tight. Plus the bright pink color is fun. Will be purchasing another soon.

I have purchase this style of bra several times in the past. I love the support they offer for my bust size. I wear this as my everyday bra. The only negative is this particular bra is tighter around then my last few I purchased although I ordered the same size and I have not changed in my size either.

This bra is amazing. It is the best fitting and supportive bra I have ever worn. I own 5. I work 12 hour shifts and their is no bounce, strain or discomfort. I generally sleep in one as well. The cups seem to run slightly larger than my other Elomi(Catilyn) style. But thin modesty pads, that I always use, fixes this issue.I highly recommend this bra.

The picture does't really do it justice. This bra is very retro in appearance and fit. The cups were saggy and came to points. The straps didn't really help me fix the fit. It didn't really support much of any thing. I did even want to try working out in it.

Nice bra for tank tops, but the wire really hurts. Need to make wire lined.
Elomi Response: It's a bit difficult to advise accurately with the limited information provided. It might be possible the band is too snug for you. It could also be possible that the cup is too small for you and therefore the underwire is resting directly on breast tissue which can be extremely painful. We suggest checking out HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra.

The support is good but, at least for me, the underwire comes up too far and tends to poke/jab me in the underarm area. I can pull the bra down, but it will eventually ride back up again and cause the same discomfort. I have adjusted the straps, but it really hasn't made a difference.
HerRoom Response: If your band is riding up it may not be tight enough. This often occurs when the weight of your breast tissue pulls the cups downward which pulls the band upward. We suggest checking out our Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra.

If I could only have 1 bra, it would be this one. It is comfortable; it provides support and lift; it allows easy movement; and it is quite durable and long-lasting. I have one that I have worn under my swimsuit since August 2015. It is a bit faded, but otherwise in primo condition ... and that with a daily dip in the pool. It is worth every penny of its price. And, did I mention that its comfortable??? My goal is to have at least one in every color.

Jury is still out on this bra. When I first put it on it was very loose around my rib cage. I wear an Elomi underwire bra so I bought the same size. I tightened it with the second set of hooks. I then had to pull the straps all the way up to the point where I couldn't use the J Hook. I ran around the house and had no support at all.
Then I decided to lengthen the straps and use the J Hook. It is very supportive, but the fact that I can't wear this sports bra when running without the J Hook I am a bit concerned about how long the J Hook will last while I am exercising.
Also the J hook is hard for me to reach so I have to pull up the back of the bra and hook it, then shift everything into place again. I am so worried about breaking the J Hook if I were to hook it prior to putting the bra on.
I am going to keep playing with it the next few days.

I've owned 2 of these. The first without the J-Hook, the second with it. I put the first one through the wringer for over a year before an underwire popped out. I did not hesitate to replace it with this one. Now, the replacement bra (bought back in November 2015) is way too big in the cups and a size too big in the band, so yet again, I will be replacing it. I love these bras, they've held up with walking, jogging, weight lifting, Zumba, and other exercises. The J-Hook makes it easy to convert to racerback, which gives me a little more support, better posture, and doesn't hang out of my workout tanks. I wear it almost daily, and it's never been uncomfortable. I just wish they weren't so expensive, or at the very least, went on sale more often!

I love this bra for an exercise bra. Super comfortable, super support! I agree with one of the other reviews that after few hours its not as comfortable because the band is very tight --- but that's what I would expect from a sports bra. I don't think it should be worn all day. it holds everything in place - in the Zumba class I recently joined, and doing jumping jacks and all. I seriously LOVE this brand, its awesome quality!

I really like this bra and had it in a 38GG but they were fitting just a little too snug (bubbling over the top a bit). So I tried a couple sizes to see which would fit better, first the 40HH, then the 38HH. The 38 HH was the right fit. (thought I might be able to go down to a 38H?) Anyway, this bra has the fit and styling that makes it comfortable for home and work and looks nice under my clothes. It's the most comfortable bra I own.

Excellent fit, I have to say this is the best fitting bra I have ever had. I know it's a "sports" bra but really I use it for every day wear, and as long as you don't have really low cut tops it works well. What I am especially impressed with is the cup size - it is excellent. Other bras say they are a G or H or J, etc. and really there seems to be no difference in the cup size but this bra fits exceptionally well

I love the elomi sports bra. I ordered the one with J-Hooks on accident, but decided to keep it because of the fact that it is difficult to find a bra which can adjust the straps in my size. I loved this bra without them and figured this couldn't be different. I was wrong. There is nothing wrong with the bra itself, but the rings, which attach the ends of the straps to the bra itself, creak. I'm not sure if it's how they're made (the rings are rather thin I've noticed and it makes me nervous that they won't hold up to the bra and I will be out 71 dollars. Though it hasn't happened and I hope not) or if it's just the weight of my bust being supported by the straps either whenever I move, the sound is loud and is highly distracting. Otherwise this bra is highly comfortable and supports my breasts well.

I like the fit of this sport bra. It has adequate coverage and good support needed for my size of a 34HH. I have jogged and biked in this bra. I haven't used the J-hook in the back, and probably won't, but it's a nice option in case I need it. My only complaint is that the loops that connect the straps to the bra are creaky when you move. It kind of squeaks/creaks with every movement, which is pretty annoying. (My exercise partner can even hear it!) I have washed and worn the bra, and it is still creaky. I decided to keep the sport bras I purchased even though they are noisy because it is difficult to find a supportive bra in my size.

Elomi Response: Tiffany- Thank you for trying Elomi Energise EL8041 in 36D8. The Energise Sports Bra offers amazing support while doing your activity. It encapsulates the breast tissue in the cup instead of compressing it. The J hook offers additional support and a racerback option. This is literally the most comfortable bra I have ever owned. It fully encapsulates and offers excellent support. It literally defies gravity. Also, the side boning does not gauge and make me want to remove my bra the first moment I arrive home from work. Further, it creates a smooth silhouette under dress clothing. This has been a fantastic bra for me and I would highly recommend this garment to any full-busted woman to try.

This bra offers excellent support and for my size and age, that's important. Note that the straps ARE stretch, which is bad for jogging or bouncy activities. In addition, the back material of the bra is a thinner elastic, which means it won't last long in larger sizes due to the stress on the bra itself. That's a shame because of the price. It does wash well and is fairly comfortable without the wires poking you. Finally, note that the bra does give your breasts the pointed 60s look AND because of how high it comes up in the front between the breasts, you can't wear anything even slightly lowcut.

I wanted to love this so badly, but huge flaw. It is VERY supportive and breathable, the straps and straps are nice and thick, it was all wonderful.. except for the cups. They are shaped so strange. The picture looks nice and rounded and supportive but the cups were pointed. There are seams over the cup that make the shape very awkward and sloped my breasts outward so my chest looked super wide. Everything is PERFECT for me except the cups.

This is the best fitting bra I have ever found and fits me perfectly. It supports me very well, I have a big problem being a 38J because I am not that big around, I am all cups mostly. Love this bra! I have purchased it before and the material is strong and gives very good support, thank you love it!

It is a bit high cut. First time I wore it I was a bit uncomfortable as it was very stuff but after washing it has relaxed. I am perky and we'll supported. Hell I could run in it and I am a G cup. It would be perfect if it was just a tad lower cut in the front.

This is a fabulous sports bra!! it has obvious seams so does not lie flat and smooth like a t-shirt bra. It has great support, and really lifts you up high and out in front. The coverage is modest which I appreciate in the inverted yoga poses. It is quite comfortable.

As a smaller woman with larger breasts, I have issues finding a decent sports bra. Anything I can find in the stores is never in my size or they're designed for compression, and the last thing I want are my breasts being squished against my chest and making it hard for me to breathe while I'm trying to work out. Then I found this, and there aren't enough words to describe just how much I love this bra. My breasts aren't squished in it like they tend to be in other sports bras. They are, in fact, lifted, and separated. After working out for half an hour with a lot of moving and jumping, my breasts were still safe and secured within their cups. Best of all, there was no spillage whatsoever, which has happened to me with other sports bras after moving around quite a bit. There's no chance of that here due to the high cut design of the bra itself, which is actually really nice. The cups do make my breasts look kind of pointed, but that's honestly the only thing I dislike about it and everything I love about it overrides the one thing I don't. I really cannot recommend this bra enough.

I ordered this style of bra, due to my large bust. I ordered this same bra 3 years ago and it endured this time faithfully to me as long as I took extra care of the bra. This bra has been an asset to me and for the price, I feel that you just can't beat it!!! I will continue to order from this company and hope that they will continue to make this style of bra for the rest of my life, because I will continue to be a faithful customer.

I am really excited about this sports bra. I haven't actually worn it to work out yet, but when I tried It on I did some bouncing around and my girls were definitely separated and supported! Most of my life I have been wearing two or even three compression sports bras at a time when I work out and still not feeling totally supported. Once I learned that when you have large breasts and they are compressed for a long period of time, you lose blood flow to the area, and that is not healthy for your breast tissue and over time it can actually cause damage. This bra certainly does not compress, rather it lifts! I will say this this bra gives a more pointy shape, but honestly it's a sports bra, I'm not wearing it to get a great shape. I think this bra is great choice for the active ample-bosom-ed woman.

This bra looked like a good idea, but I hated it and sent it back. The cups did not stop bounce, the straps weren't long enough to use the j-hook feature without pulling severely on my neck. I ordered a band size up trying to compensate for the usual short straps. Didn't help and the cups were too big. and had a weird shape to them.

I already owned this bra in the original version without the option to connect it together in the back. When I saw they had redesigned it I ordered the new version, and love it so much better. It is still high in the front, which is ok because it just looks like a cami. It is still pointy in the cup and a bit too separated, but it's just for working out. As far as sizing goes, I wear either a 36H-HH or 38GG-H, depending on the bra. In this bra I wear 36H. The cup seems a smidge large until I also connect the j-hook and then it is perfect. The option to connect it in the back gives me the extra support I need, especially since the back has 4 hooks (I do best with 3 hooks; having a smaller rib cage and waist, and a shorter torso even though I'm average height, the 4 hooks make it go down too far into the smallest part of my waist). And although I don't like the pointy look, I'm sure it is the seaming that causes it to enclose the breasts and keep them from jiggling during a workout! So overall, it serves the purpose of a sports bra and I'm glad to have it!

Great bra, not for petite women I think. I tried it on and it definitely gave me more support than a regular bra would, but not quite all the support I was looking for due fit issues. The sides and front came up too high on me and just didn't fit right, so I ended up sending it back. The front was really the issue, it came up so high on me (almost to my neck) that the top part kinda stuck out and wasn't flat against my body like it should be. I also had to adjust the straps to the shortest length which made the J hook useless, but it wasn't a feature I really cared about. It did feel just a little big in the cup area, but again I think it was just because it didn't fit right on me. I was disappointed since it's really hard to find a sports bra in my size. All that being said, I'd definitely recommend giving it a try, might work for you. I didn't want to take off too many stars just because it didn't work for me.

Have this in 44DD and 46DD 46 is slightly more relaxed fit so not so pushed up/out good for cycling etc
Love the support/comfort feel held in when wearing with no movement.
But in a nutshell very recommended bra for sports or just everyday all day wearing with great fabrics washes well lasts 4 hooks in my size so not flimsy fit/feel you feel as good when you take bra off as when you put it on and straps are great stay put so well worth the money and a wise investment for your breasts!

Best bra I own concerning comfort, lift, and shape. I love the color, soft fabric, and nice wide band. 4 out of 5 stars due to seam show through and because I have to shorten the straps so much that the j-hook is basically useless.

I am a fan of elomi from day one and this bra is no exception. I own quite a few of the energise bras and they are the only sports bra that seperates and firmly supports while exercising, while it is still comfortable enough to wear all day long. This review is for the new pomegranate with the j-hook that converts into a racerback. I can't believe that they could improve on the original, already exceptonal energise, but they have and I love it even more than the original. The already optimum supoort is still there and then some, and the color is even better and more vibrant in person. I would love to see this expand into even more fun colors. Home run elomi!
