Wonderful construction and detail. I will go up a band size on next purchase of this brand. The girls look great and the bra is all-day comfortable. The matching panties complete the ensemble. Too bad no matching suspender belt.

I know that a lot of reviewers talk about sizing being a problem with this bra, and they don't like the fit. Let me say that I LOVE this bra and don't want to ever wear anything else. If you are not a very full cup size, go down a cup. In other words, if you aren't a full D, you might want to go down to a C...in which case you will really fill the C cup. Let's talk about the band size...I wear a longline because I WANT the support and DO NOT want breast weight on my shoulders. This bra gives me breast support, makes under-breast rolls go away, and helps really define my waist. That being said, if you carry lots of weight in your tummy, you probably don't want a longline...or this longline...anyway. I promise people...think about the sizing, be careful trying on so you can exchange if necessary, and enjoy the support this bra gives the girls!!! I do wash on delicate, but these bras last a long time.

Oh so close, but it wasn't to be. First of all, I followed the sizing instructions as directed for this particular style by going up 2 band sizes and down 1 cup size. This bra was too big everywhere and I should have stuck with my regualr band size and gone down atleast 2 cup sizes. Even if this bra had fit I would have returned it, because the cup just doesn't support larger breasts and they sag.
Elila Response: We suggest adding 3" – 4” to your diaphragm measurement to find your band size then measure your high bust point and deduct that measurement from your band size to get your cup size.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. Front close bras are tricky, we suggest going up a band size and down two cup sizes in this style. If you have a fuller tummy try going up two band sizes and down one cup size.

I ordered a size a little larger than normal. The bra itself is a very nice bra but it is about 4 inches from being able to fasten in the front. I have a bra I can't wear and I can't return. My other long line I have is 48 DD and it fits just fine.
HerRoom Response: Anything front close is always a bit trickier than a regular bra since you're pushing everything forward instead of backward. We suggest going up one more band and down a cup.

This is the worst "sized" item I have ever purchased. I normally wear either a 40 or 42 C. I ordered a 42C the first time and it was nearly 4" from closing. So I sent it back and ordered the 46. Guess what? When I tried the 46C on, it was 4" from closing too! I double-checked to see if the sent me the same size. No--it was a 46C. I do not recommend this item.
HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. Elila has unique bra sizing. Please refer to our comment on the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. We recommend going up a band size and down two cup sizes. I have worn this bra before and was pleased with it then. This bra was harder to fit. I like this bra more the more I wear it, also it was very scratchy at first but that washed out. It would be nice if the back behind my armpits came up higher so I wouldn't have bulges there. I appreciate that this bra is made of very strong fabric and doesn't stretch out over time like almost all other bras I've worn and that is the main reason I shop this company. It does an excellent job of lifting and holding up without discomfort no matter how long my day is.

I highly recommend this bra to anyone who wants support and comfort. It does exactly what a bra should do, SUPPORT! It supports the breasts, and also, it supports the shoulders and the back very comfortably. This is the first bra that I have found in many, many years (and many wasted $$s later), that I can stand to wear for more than a few minutes. I haven't taken it off yet, since I tried it on, several hours ago. Thank you Elila, for making something normally so uncomfortable for me to endure, a real pleasure to wear! I have already placed another order for more! I LOVE your products! Thank you HerRoom, for carrying it!

I love the quality and long wear of Elila bras and needed a Longline for "Formal Gowns". Easy to put on with the Front Hooks, also makes the back smoother. The quality, support, looks and fit of this bra is fantastic! . I sell women's Designer shoes and travel nationally. I also wear 3" or 4" high heel pumps, as part of my job and many days I am on standing and walking in high heels 12 hours or more. I can walk confidently in heels and not worry about by breasts swaying or bouncing while wearing this bra! Many evenings, I am required to attend Formal Fashion events, also as part of my job. This Elida Longline worn with a panty girdle helps my gowns look and fit great! I can dance all evening in 4" heels and be comfortable and no back ache thanks to this bra! I also have a strapless Elia Longline for one shoulder and strapless gowns.

I love this bra, I've been wearing this bra (buying new ones to replace the old one) for about 4 years. The only complaint I have is that the sizing isn't consistent. One will fit perfect, one will be too big, the new one is slightly smaller. It is only 1/4 of an inch but it makes a difference in comfort. There is no other like it with the high back and front closure.

This is a beautiful bra that fits wonderfully except around the waist. I am sure it would fit fine on a slimmer woman with a longer waist. But that is not me so I could only give it 4 stars. If you are short and a little plump, get a 3/4 long bra. I have one on now and it is perfect!

If you have never tried a long line bra, you will be very surprised by how well this fits and supports. I have been wearing this bra for several years on a daily basis and its my go-to bra for special occasion dressing. I always wear this bra with a high waist long leg panty girdle for bust to thigh shaping. Some may say that a long line bra and girdle are too much but as the old saying goes: "don't knock it until you try it". Like one of the other lady's that commented, about getting older, I wholeheartedly agree; a long line bra and high waist girdle will work wonders for one's appearance but is divinely comfortable to be worn all day and evening. A few minutes after dressing, you will not know you are wearing it...but what compliments you will receive on your new Appearance! Once you try it, you will make the combo your standard.

Really love this bra -- comfortable, good support, and provides a good line under a fitted or knit garment. My only complaint is that the elastic at the bottom tends to roll a little by the end of the day -- not badly, but enough to be a bit of an irritant, Other than that, it's perfect.

This product was the closest to my needs.Although I followed the "finding true bra-size instructions", and used the results to place my order, the cup size was a bit too large. The bra does offer great support and slimming effects through my chubby back, and I like the 2 rows of hooks. It could be a little shorter through the torso length, since I am very short-waisted,and I am only 5'2", but I am keeping the bra because I have that sizing problem everywhere, and it still does a great job at slimming my upper torso. I can actually use the tighter hooks for the area around my bust and then use the looser set of hooks as I approach my waist, and yet it adjusts perfectly with no bunching! All in all, Good Job!

I wear the back hook style and just love it. I get excellent support from the full inner sling and like the front covered waist band as it adds tummy support where it laps my high waist girdle. Yes it is a firm fit but after wearing it for a few minutes I just forget that it is on. It does have it's own cup shape but I like that. It is not a poke your eye design but I like a bra that looks like a bra and does not make me look like I just robbed the melon counter at the super market.

I shipped this bra back because it was uncomfortable.
This is probably because I have no experience with front close bras. I have tried front-close bras in th past and they just don't fit the same way as regular bras. I have no complaint with this specific bra, it just doesn't fit me correctly. HerRoom Response: Front closure bras are always a fit challenge - they can't be adjusted. Also, because they don't have adjustments, they tend to not last long as they become stretched out. This is why there are so few on the market.

I have worn this bra on several occasions. i echo the comments of the other ladies---this is a very tight bra, although it does exactly what i need---control thru the bust with great support and smooth waist shaping. i normally wear a size 48 but with this bra i have gone to a 50c. the high back helps to control the "back fat" issue and the bra is almost undetectable under a sweater. the bra being tight does take a little getting use to but after a few minutes of wearing it, it just becomes like a old friend--supportive. i almost always will wear a high waist girdle with a long line bra as i like the appearance of a smooth line from the bust thru the thighs and i like the firm controlled feeling AND the compliments i receive on my figure. the back closure style is another excellent bra as well but it too is a tight fitting bra. i would suggest going up one size.bbbz

THIS GARMENT WAS TOO TIGHT. IT MADE MY BREAST LOOK LIKE TORPEDOES AND IT DID NOT FULLY COVER MY BREAST. HerRoom Response: We noticed in your other comments that you state you are a 44F. If you purchased this in a size 42, it probably would be too small. Also, a long line bra is tricky - the body part will not fit everyone. Longlines are designed with the assumption that a woman's mid-section is columnar in shape. If you are pair shaped, a longline will probably not fit.
