I have had women I don't know stop me to ask what bra I am wearing because it gives such good support.. In order to get a cup size that fits w/o shoulder straps being too long, I order the band 1 size smaller and use and extender strap. Laurie from Fairfield

This bra fits so well. I had ordered one, loved it so much, I ordered this second one. The cups are a tiny bit fuller than others I've tried of the same size, and the underwire is well placed and doesn't poke. Elizabeth from Cicero, IL USA

Love this Bra. I've bought several & they really give me the support I need. It's comfortable & the underwires don't dig in under my arms. I hope to see more colors to choose from. Shades of Tan, Beige or Toast would be nice! T Ann from Janesville

Okay bra. I found the straps set really far out and dug into my back and the fabric itchy.

HerRoom Response: The straps are no wide set, so this is a sign you are in a band too large. You are probably a 32 band size and this bra is not made in this band size. Dayna from United States

I have been wearing these bras for at least 5 years. Lately I have gained weight so I ordered a larger size but I found the cup size was too large. The band size was good but cup was too large. I returned them for another size cup . Best bra for me.

HerRoom Response: When you move up a band, you need to remember to move down a cup size if you want to maintain breast volume. So,if you were a 40G(D4), you should move to a 42F(D3). Sue from Apex NC

I considered keeping this bra because it seemed fairly supportive and is pretty. However, I decided that the straps were too wide-set. As a large-breasted person I find that straps that are set further from the shoulders are much more comfortable. Also, I prefer a little more heavy duty fabrics with less stretch to give a good amount of support. Susan from Albuquerque, New Mexico US

Finally a bra with an underwire that doesn't stick out in front or poke my underarms. I do bend intentionally slightly bend the underwire to conform to my curves since straight things don'e fit curved. With this bra a slight curve made everything fit perfectly, No overflow, No pokes, Wire close to breast bone. Success. Laurie

I have bought roughly 7 of these exact bras over the years, the last one purchased in May of this year. Typically I can wear them for about 10-12 months before wires start popping out. This time, the wire came out in 5 months. I hate that they do this bc they fit so well. I hand wash them always and never sleep in them .

Elila Response: Sorry your wire popped out, it might be that the bra is running a little big and there is a lot of movement causing the bra to wear out.  The average life of a bra is about 6 months depending on how often you wear it.  We suggest having 3 bras in your wardrobe, 1 to wear, 1 to wash, and 1 to rest. The fit of the bra was wonderful however I’ll never where it again. The support sides dug into my skin every time I twisted or turned, but it wasn’t tight so I don’t understand why it was so uncomfortable to the point where it became painful to move. I was mindful of every motion, and was miserable for an entire 10 hr shift at work. Unfortunately I can’t return it so it’s just a cute bra I’ll never wear.

Elila Response: Thank you for your feedback. Side stays are not for everyone. You may try and remove them if they are making your wear uncomfortable. DeJ from NC, USA

It was a good fit, however the straps dig into the skin a little during the day. Hopefully it lets up the more I wear it. Overall it is a cute bra, wish there was more lift though.

Elila Response:  If you feel that your straps are digging in and the cups fit comfortably, try adjusting them before you put the garment on so you have more strap length. Latorya from Indiana

The Elila bras I've tried fit very well..but the ones previously purchased did not last long. The wires poked through the front of the bra after less than a year of wear.

Elila Response: Depending on how often you wear your bras, a good bra lasts about 6 months. If the wire pops out, you can fix it by sewing a few stitches at the top of the wire channel. Also, if the wire moves a lot it could be because the cup is too big. Brenda from Farmville, NC

Fits well and is very pretty but the band and underwire are very harsh. Along with that there is a seam across the front that shows if you are wearing tight clothing so if you plan to wear something tight with this bra, choose a different one.

Elila Response: Thank you for your comments, if you are looking for more support, we would suggest trying the Elila Microfiber Spacer Underwire Bra 2411 or Elila Microfiber Underwire Sports Bra 2511. We hope one of these meet your support and style needs. Stephanie

I purchased this bra because I wanted a bra with side support features to reduce the bulge between my bra and armpit. I expected a bra with very wide side panels that would extend up close to the armpit area. While this is a nicely constructed, pretty full-coverage bra and the side panels are heavily reinforced, they are not wider than a regular bra and push forward, leaving an even more pronounced bulge between the bra and underarm area. I have tried adjusting it in every way I can to address this issue with no success.

Elila Response: Thank you for your comments, if you are looking for more support, we would suggest trying the Elila Microfiber Underwire Sports Bra 2511. Debbie from San Diego, CA

I ordered this bra 10 days ago using the instructions for measuring and calculating the correct size bra for me. I am notoriously hard to fit because of my significant endowment so buying a bra on the internet was always going to be a risk. The bra arrived today and I have to say this bra is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn, and being in my 60's there have been a few. Love Love Love! Jayne from Australia

I ordered this bra, got it and the cups were huge. Decided to exchange it and did what they recommended with the up a band size and down 2 cup sizes. Still have giant cups! So upset right now!

Elila Response: The Elila brand uses the +4 sizing method. That means you would take your under band measurement and add 4" to get your band size. Here is a fit video explaining this in detail. Deanna from Anchorage, AK

I am on a lifelong search for the perfect bra. Not sure it exists for me. The first bra I ordered from HerRoom was beautiful and the cups fit my breasts perfectly but the back band was a nightmare! Too thin and no support at all. I had high hopes when I ordered the Elila bra. Unfortunately, I was disappointed once again. While the back band is perfect, the cups did not fit me correctly. Oh well... the search continues.

Elila Response: The Elila brand uses the +4 sizing method. That means you would take your under band measurement and add 4" to get your band size. Here is a fit video explaining this in detail. Laurie from Knoxville, TN

I like it, but the cups run WAY too big in my opinion. I used the UCS, which has me at a D6 (or an I), but I opted for a D5 (an H) and its still way too big still. Its just awkward and making things look pointy. I'm considering even going down to a D3 because I'm so unsure.

I been wearing this Elila style for the past four years and I've been totally satisfied. The bra "stands up" to the weight of "the girls," washes beautifully (cold water delicate, line dry) and lasts a good long time. I love the look of this bra, but when I purchased it in my size, the underwire pokes above my breasts and can visibly be seen under my shirt if I try to wear it. I'm assuming I would need to go down a size to wear this bra?

HerRoom Response: Please refer to our comment in the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. Go up 1 band size and down 2 cup sizes from your current bra size. For example, if you typically wear a 44J, we recommend trying a 46H(D5) in Elila. Christa R from OKC/OK/US

Although the bra is beautiful, the lines in the from of the bra were seen through my blouse. The straps were not as thick/padded as I thought thus cutting into my shoulders.

This bra is both comfortable and very supportive. Because of large, heavy breasts I've probably tried 25 bras in the past year and this is in the top two or three in my drawer. It is slightly pointy but also seems to make my bust look smaller than similar bras, without going to a minimizer (which smash down my breasts). The fabric is really soft (not scratchy) and feels good. This provides very full coverage on me, so may not be the best thing with a low-cut top. Patty from Los Angeles, ca

My husband appreciates the fit & view ! The cup fit, construction & function of this bra is far superior to any other I have found in the last 2 decades ... It is a 5 star for that, however I publically rated it 4 for the following 2 reasons only. 1st- I would love to find a bra that allows for a reasonable V-neck shirt to be worn w/o the bra cup edges peeking at the V. 2nd - (most importantly) I am just barely 5 feet tall - a very condensed frame - & have what I refer to as an 'hour & a half glass' figure w/less than a minute in between. I have to adjust the straps to as short as they will go & still this bra (frontally) literally covers most of my upper-body, its front frame rides over 3/4s of my rib cage. It is too tall under the arm. I am most comfortable in it when standing, sitting is tolerable only for short periods of time. I would strongly encourage you to collaborate w/Elila manufacturing to work at navigating the realm of Petite Bra options for those Full Figures under the 5'3 size frame. This bra in a petite frame construction would merit a 5+++ Gold star rating.!!! S. from Newberg OR USA

Fit nice all around, but the cups. So many seamed cups give me that "80's Madonna" cone look. :( Disappointed that it didn't work for me.

HerRoom Response: We suggest trying a seamed bra with more of angled seam rather than horizontal. The angled seam will help round the breast tissue. Consider trying elomi EL8900 for a great rounded look. Becky from Hartford, WI

It's a pretty bra and reasonably comfortable (not itchy as some lace bras can be. However, I think I should have ordered a cup size larger than normal because the central divider does not sit against my chest wall....and even makes a little bulge visible through the shirts near the top (which didn't happen in the other two bras I purchased in the same size. Updated Review: After wearing this bra (now own in every color) for several months now I am still very pleased with the comfort and support. This is the only bra I wear now. I hand wash and hang to dry but the bras still look brand new. Very pleased with quality and love the stretch lace it makes for a perfect fit even though I have one considerably larger breast than the other. I am short waisted so it took a little while to get used to how high the bra comes up but it holds all that extra breast tissue so well. Make you look slimmer and being plus sized I need all the help I can get. Highly recommend. Margaret from Baton Rouge, LA

This bra was recommended by my doctor because it offers good support and distributes the weight evenly so your back and shoulders don't hurt. It is very full in the cup which I need. Being the stretch lace it works great for the girls not being the same size. Took a while to get used to the way it comes up high under your arms especially if you are short waisted. Got used to it in about a week. Margaret from Baton Rouge, LA

This is the worst bra I have ever purchased. Terribly uncomfortable and doesn't fit properly.

HerRoom Response: Please refer to our comment in the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. Go up 1 band size and down 2 cup sizes from your current bra size. For example, if you typically wear a 46I, we recommend trying a 48G(D4) in Elila. I usually buy Prima Donna but you recommended this bra as an alternative. Since it costs almost a third of a Prima Donna I thought why not. This bra is the exact same size as the others but it is really big. I kept it because I thought when I washed it it might shrink. It is not the same comfort and quality as the others but for the price it may be worth buying a couple more. A word to the wise, make sure you buy it at least a full band and cup size smaller than you normally would.

Elila Response: We are sorry this bra didn't work for you. Please refer to our comment in the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. I was worried about buying a bra online because I have struggled for years to find bras that fit right in store, but I was pleasantly surprised when I tried this one on. The cup is true to size and the straps are wide so they don't dig into my shoulders. The only complaint I have is that the band underneath the breasts is scratchy and hurts my skin a little. If they added a little padding underneath it would be a lot more comfortable and pretty much the perfect bra. I personally sewed on soft material and it's great. I will definitely be buying this again. Katie from California

The seaming at the bottom of the side boning is too thick and the quality of the material used on the bottom band is scratchy. I don't think I received a defective bra but the way the bottom band is sewn between the back hooks and side boning leaves the wearer in pain.

Elila Response: We suggest removing the side bones to get a more comfortable fit. If you would like to try an Elila underwire with less coverage we would suggest style 2401 embroidered underwire bra. Krankenheim from Denver

While the bra is of good quality the "D8" sizing it was given is utterly incorrect. Stick with your normal cup size and do NOT listen to the universal cup size of this bra.

The bra is beautiful! Love the color! But after wearing it for 3 days I feel I can now evaluate it properly. The sides of the band are too high underneath my armpit, at least 6 inches. The bra cuts into my armpit. I find myself constantly trying to pull down the band to give my armpits a rest.

HerRoom Response: If your band is riding up constantly, this typically means your band is too large. Please refer to our comment in the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. Go up 1 band size and down 2 cup sizes from your current bra size. It's soft, sexy, comfy, and supportive. The only thing to warrant the three stars -- the center wires stick up and poke through any shirt I wear. They seem to be really, really long. Other than that, it's a gem!

HerRoom Response: Your center gore should lay flat against your chest. Please refer to our comment in the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. I really like this style and material and like the extra addition of the side boning which helps slim me under shirts. (be warned that you need to tolerate the feel of underwire and boning, but with slight discomfort brings a good and slimming fit). I seem to be in between sizes - a 40H fits nicely but I didn't get that separation at the breast bone. I called customer service and was told to order an I cup which turned out to be too big. I will stick with the H cup and ordered 2 more, returning the I cup. It's trial and error here, but I like that this site has so many large cup size options to choose from. Geri from Philadelphia

I really like this bra it holds my girl in.I have the red, purple and black and I love them. Being that its hard to find bras in my size that come in colors and look fancy and sexy at the same time, these are a plus. The fit and the support are fantastic in this bra. I have been fluctuating in size and having trouble finding a good fit since I am not one of those sizes they carry at the mall. After some trial and error I found this to be the best fit for me. I would rate it higher, but I ALSO have sensitive skin, and the elastic bothers me - even after I washed it. I don't know what the band fabric is made of, but it irritates my skin. Other bras made of things like T-shirt material don't give the support I need. I will keep looking.

I've tried on many sizes and styles here at HerRoom and I think I have to call this one my favorite. I like the material, it feels like it breathes, and the lace is pretty. The fit is good though I may need to go up a cup size from the recommended bra fit calculator because the underwire does not lay flat on my breast bone to separate the breats (why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars). I also appreciate the side boning which helps slim my large chest. The cups have extra support with a band of material that circles the breast. I didn't think I'd like that, but I think it does make a difference holding the breasts front and center rather than splayed out sideways like my other bras did. I'm going to order more of this style. Geri from Philadelphia

I bought this bra in a larger band size than i usually do as my other bands were leaving indents in my back! Well within the first week of wearing this bra I had such horrible indents in my back and sides that I was in horrible pain. So i ordered a size larger and the same thing! This bra is very poorly made and does not consider women who are plus sized. Also after only have the bra for 3 months the strap completely ripped off! And I don't want to hear how its because I'm very heavy chested! If you make a bra in a plus size for women with a larger chest then the bra needs to be made to fit them which it doesn't! I won't ever order or recommend this bra to anyone!

Elila Response: We recommend having at least 3 bras in your wardrobe to get the most out of them because they work hard all day. Be sure you have one to wear, one to wash and one to rest to get the most out of your bra. Depending on how often you wear them, they can last up to 6 months. DeAnna from Pittsburgh

Very cheaply made. Wire broke through fabric after wearing only twice. Will not be purchasing this brand again.

Elila Response: Sometimes a wire pokes out due to the bra being too big in the band or cup causing too much movement which forces the wire out. Check out Tomima’s Fit Guide to get just the right fit. Chequitta from Henderson, KY

Bra did not support me. Also, it was scratchy.

Elila Response: Thank you for your feedback. It's important to always wash your bra before wearing. The garment should be hooked so it only pulls 2'' from the body and the straps should be adjusted comfortably to get a finger or two under them. If you would like a style with additional support with an underwire, we would suggest you try Elila Leopard Lace Underwire Bra 2211. Roslyn from NC

Wish I’d consulted the “Universal Cup” and “Know Your Breast” sections, as (based on other brands) I ordered a D9 when the website, based on my best fitting bra, has me as a D6, or at most 7. The cups on this bra are too big, they wrinkle at the top, even though the center doesn’t lay flat against my chest. Center pull straps not only look awkward, but give me a 1960s-style (Mad Men?) conical shape. Were it white instead of plum, I’d have mistaken it for a “granny” bra. I would order down to a D6 or 7, but for the center not lying flat against my chest. Giving it 3 stars for sturdy construction, nice color availability, and the fact it’d fit someone differently shaped than me. Sandy from Chicago, IL, USA

This bra is beautiful. I'm really like the red and the plum colors that I ordered; they're exactly as nice to look at as in the picture, but they're made for a pretty specific shape, I think, which is not mine. I know the sizing was right, but this style is clearly not for me. The wire stabs me in the underarms. I am 5'1", so this may be part of the reason why. I think a taller woman would be quite happy with a bra like this. The Elila bras definitely seem to be of good quality, though. I just think they're made for a different shape than mine, with more length in the upper body. I hope this information helps someone! W from Parkesburg

At first I thought it was good and unfortunately washed it and took the tags off it before I gave it a good wear. It was very uncomfortable. I thought I had been stung by a bee or torn a muscle until I got home and realized it was the bra. There are side wires or boning a few inches past where the cup underwire ends. It sounds like a good idea adding stiffness and support to the sides of the bra, but it felt like it feels when the underwire is going to give-way and it's poking at you all day. I hope they re-engineer it because it's a good idea, it's just painful.

Elila Response: We are sorry that the bra is not comfortable with the side boning. We would suggest for a more comfortable fit that you take them out. The bra will still give you the support you desire and the comfort you would prefer. Sophia from San Jose, CA

After washing, the bra was soft and comfortable and provides good support and doesn't ride up in the back and lays flat on the sternum. Even though I need lots of support, I don't care for seaming on the cups. I will wear this bra with printed or dark tops, so the seaming doesn't show through. I did buy another molded cup bra to wear with lighter or thinner tops. Diane from Coeur d'Alene

I was so happy to find my cup size so I bought 3 of these. I like the bra somewhat but it's a little uncomfortable under the boobs where the wire is and it makes your boobs look more pointy then normal. I will continue to wear them -- they are still a good bra. Angela from Arkansas

A pretty, feminine bra, built like a tank with a great red paint job. The girls are well supported, frame fits nicely against my torso. I am between a 34 and a 36, so hope that this bra does not stretch in the band. It's comfortable now, and going down a band size would likely be too tight. Only issue is that I'm short and the sides are tall. So far, only a small rub under one arm, hopeful another laundering softens that seam because then it would be perfect. Jenn from Elko, NV

I have ordered four Elila 44I bras. The plum, black and white fit very well. The red bra is a bit more snug and not as comfortable. Overall, I like the styling and the way it makes me look. The underwire and the support help keep my ribs from hurting. I love the longer strap. Most bra manufacturers don't consider the needs of a tall woman. I don't have to push the slide all the way to the end of the strap and hope I can get my arms and shoulders to fit. I have gotten several compliments on how I look this past holiday season. A friend decided to place an order after seeing my purchase. I'm very grateful to finally have a source and selection for buying pretty bras. Margaret from Rockton

Hi there, I wanted to share with you that this bra is a really good fit for the average person. I am a petite, short waisted person. I sit all day at work and the boning digs into me. Also the underwires and my arms do not get along, everything is fine when I am standing up. But I believe that with some modifications it will be fine. To my surprise my underwire came out half way, I must've gotten a lemon. Because I have gotten a bra from there before and that one did fit good, that's why the four and not five stars. Thanks for listening. Belinda from Searsmont

After reading multiple reviews, it was suggested to add five inches to band size for Elila brand bras. That seemed odd and I should have trusted my first instinct to choose another brand. The bra was way too big. Even on the tightest hooks, I could fit my entire fist under the band. Furthermore, the cups were extremely pointy and unflattering. Somer from D'Iberville, MS

I found this size chart to be inaccurate! I ordered this bra in 40I because of the size chart. I usually order Panache bras in 40G and love that fit. The Panache size G lines up with the UK G on all the size charts, but this bra's size chart puts I in line with the UK G, so I went with the size chart. Unfortunately it is too big. I ordered 3 other bras from different companies in the UK G or comparable size, and I stacked them all, folded, one on top of the other. All of them have very, very similar size underwires, except for this one, which is much bigger. I love the style and the colour, and I can tell it is a high quality and very supportive bra. So I'm going to keep it for the time when I have babies and have breast growth from pregnancy and breast feeding. To be honest, even the band seems a little bigger than my other 40s. This bra fit very well and is comfortable to wear. However, the first time I wore it, one of the underwires poked through. Must not have been sewed in properly. Easy fix for me to sew seam, but question product quality control. At the price of this bra, I really expected perfection in manufacture.

Elila Response: The wire popping out is not common at all. This might have been a defective item. It’s unfortunate that it happened, but we're glad that you were resourceful and were able to fix it. Jan from Edmond/OK/USA

Unfortunately this bra is not comfortable at all. It digs into my sides and I have a bulge where the bow is. I have another Elila product that is a strapless bra and it fits much better. It is not lace though so maybe that is the problem. I have not worn it since the first week I bought it.

The coverage and support of the bra is well. However, the shape is awful. I feel like I have two cones on my chest. I want a more rounded, natural look. This bra is too pointy. Also the middle part of the bra does not lie flat against my skin. It sticks out and it's visible under my clothes. I've worn it twice, and it will now be my "around the house" bra. It is nice and comfy, gives that old school bombshell look; it's soft and sooo much support. My only complaint would be the separation isn't as good as I like- the under wire stops about 2" from the top in the middle ( in my size anyway), so there's a bit of play and I end up with.. not uniboob, but definitely not a full separation. other than that it's great. melissa from ca

This bra is great. The only thing I don't like about it is that the center wires poke forward instead of laying flat against my chest. It is comfortable, and I am mostly pleased with my purchase. I gave it a 2 because the girls fit properly in there but the bra is the worst. IT SQUEAKS, and not quietly I might add, from every bone and wire in the bra (there are a lot of them). The line across the bust is noticeable and gives the feel of a bra from the 50's. It's also not as attractive as this picture indicates and almost feels like a long line bra. phunchurchgirl from Richmond, TX

I like the shape that this bra gives me. It's slightly pointed and lifted which I think is more flattering for larger women like me as opposed to the rounded shape that seems more typical in bras. It fits well in that the cups are generously sized and the straps are very comfortable. It doesn't quite lay flat against my chest, however. My biggest complaint, and the reason why I'd be hesitant to recommend this bra is that the fabric used for the banding is quite stiff and irritating. By the end of my work day I can't wait to get home and take this bra off. I find that very disappointing since I like the way it shapes and that it makes my blouses fit and look much better than other bras I've tried recently.

Elila Response: I would try adding softener to the wash to soften the fabric on the band. christina from USA

This bra was comfortable but despite trying several different sizes, the seams would not smooth out. I don't understand the purpose of seems in the middle of a bra cup.

HerRoom Response: Bras with seams in the cups are for added support. The most supportive bras will always be bras with cup seams. IF the seams are not smoothing out, you probably have to large a cup size. We suggest you go down a cup size. Kiki from Atlanta

This look of this bra is wonderful and so are the materials it is made with, but size-wise, it didn't work for me. I found the band to be accurate in size, but the underwire between the cups did not come close to laying against my chest. It stuck out at a 45 degree angle. Very pretty bra BUT it seems to be bit too much lace covering the cup. Even though the cup fits perfectly there is a ripple in the lace(the lace is stretchy). It does make you think twice about wearing a snug fitting top and at a 42 F everything over the breast tends to be snug so I wear it more with sweaters and sweatshirts. Sky from Portland, OR

Bra is ill fitting---cups are too high and too pointy, underwires come up too far in the front. There is no separation in the front as pictured--bra just produces a uniboob with a point from the wires. Besides that, the lace is stiff, even after washing and it very itchy.

I love this bra! I have bought every color and it has been a part of my wardrobe for years. I come from women who are “blessed in the chest”. It is hard to feel great about having such a large chest… but when I wear this bra, I think they are more beautiful. The support is great. I have strong words of caution.. this bra is not for the washing machine and you do have to wash and wear it a few times to break it in. Once you do that, you’ll own one in every color too! I got this bra because I needed it for my wedding dress. I needed something that was lower in the back, because the back of my gown came down lower in back. I was excited when I first received the bra because it was a bra for large bust and it was still sexy, appropriate for my wedding night. However, it did not support my bust size of 44I, the underwire poked at my sides and the front wire bulged in the front. It served its purpose for my wedding, but I will not be able to wear the bra again, perhaps it is better on smaller sizes. Hopeful from Pontiac, MI

Although I found the band and cups to be true to size, this bra's design had far more drawbacks than it did benefits. The seams on the front of the cups are so pronounced, this bra cannot be worn under anything but a medium-weight or heavier woven shirt, or perhaps a sweatshirt or jacket. Plus, whether I wore the bra with the hooks on the loosest or on the tightest setting, the band of the bra, all the way around it, rolled up, all day long. It is very uncomfortable because of the band rolling up. Otherwise, it is a well-made bra constructed of high-quality materials, but it should have had stays on the sides to prevent the rollup. I will be returning the other bra of this style I never even tried on, since it's a problem with the bra's design.

HerRoom Response: When your sides roll, this is usually a sign that your band size is too small. I would suggest you go up a band size and down a cup size. and see if the fit would be better. Maggie from Mandeville, LA USA

It fits pretty good at first, but the wires rub on my arms and don't rest on my breast-bone in front. I don't know if this is because I need a higher cup size as seems to be indicated, though I've heard the wires don't usually rest flat in front in larger sizes. I do think the wires would chafe my arms no matter how the cup fits, as the wire and cloth covering are very bulky. It shows through any shirt that doesn't have a loud pattern. There's a big seam right across the center. But the main trouble with the bra was unexpected. It creaks every time you move, like an old rope on a tire swing. Or like you're wearing a Styrofoam bra. And I washed it once and it still does it. irishwhistle from Southern California

a very pretty bra, I love the purple color. One problem is the wires jut forward in the center and don't lay flat. I don't have this problem with other bras I've ordered

The bra is beautiful but it does have a lot of fabric on top. I wish I could have support with a lower cut cup. Also, I am nine months pregnant. I think my swollen tummy pushed the underwires up and out which showed through my clothes. I prefer the wires to sit right on my skin between my breasts where they are supposed to. But like I said, it could be the pregnant tummy and not the bra's fault. When I pulled the band down it went flat, but my tummy pushed it up again in a few minutes. dawn from east texas

Thank Goodness for this website. All you girls with God blessed breasts know what I mean. It is nearly impossible to find a bra in my size in a store, I just gave up and tried fitting into a smaller bra which is never flattering. Now my life really has changed no more lift and separate moments no more strap 'em up and hold 'em down, I put it on in the morning and it stays in the same place all day long, my back doesn't hurt me any more, my breast don't hurt me anymore and just from wearing the right bra I look like I dropped 10 pounds. This was the first Bra in years that I actually found that fit. For the first time The cups were the right fit and I didn't have wires poking through under my arms. The only problem I found was that after several months the inside layer of the cup sides on the bottom in both cups ripped (I assume from the weight because my breast are fairly large/heavy) and I had to throw it out. Yesterday I received the Goddess 110 that has a supportive area inside the cup where the other ripped out. Hopefully I will have better results with this one. Jessica from Madison,WI

The support I need in a bra that really looks pretty. One of, maybe the, best fitting bras in the cups I have every found. Unfortunately, the underwires stick out at the top front, but this is usual for my figure type (breasts close together so bras never sit against my sternum). I was able to bend them in and move the bulge down between the breasts where it is camouflaged (I still see it when I look down, but husband says you don’t see it looking at me.) I will probably have to take the underwires out (worried about the loss of support) and wear this bra only when dressing up. Therese from Upland, CA

I returned this bra because it was too big even after following the suggested sizing. I normally wear a 36hh. The best feature was how big and supportive the band would be in the correct size. However the pointy cups were terrible.

HerRoom Response: The sizing suggestion was to only go down a cup size if you are between cup sizes. According to your comment you went from a 36HH to a 40I - this is an increase in 2 band sizes and 3 cup sizes. alicia from corona/ca

This bra is big! It might fit better on someone who is taller than I, I am 5'4'', but on me it had way too much coverage(cups nearly coming up to collar bones). Also the cups were generously sized, and very pointy. It did seem like a well made, sturdy bra. HA from New York

This bra provides the support I need and is pretty, but the underwires poke up in front. After reading about separation in the other reviews, I find that I don't have lot and the underwires never fit my sternum. The bras that do fit my sternum don't look natural. It's an equitable tradeoff. I love the shape and lift it gives me.

HerRoom Response: IF by "poking up" you mean the wires in the center are pointing away from your sternum, this is a classic symptom that your cup size is too small - your breasts are pushing the underwires forward. I would suggest going up a cup size.

This seems like a nice, well-made bra, but I am returning it due to the "pointy" factor, which wasn't mentioned in any previous reviews or in the fitter's comments. I wouldn't consider this bra to give a very natural shape. SD from MA

I definitely like the way this bra feels -- the wires don't stab (they come in very low in the underarm) and everything stays where I put it, for the most part. It's really pretty, too. I do however have a small problem with it: the underwires in front tip out from me...the center panel doesn't come close to touching my sternum like in the other underwires I purchased. It's not completely obvious, but if I'm wearing anything remotely clingy I can see it. I've read some of the sizing advice on this site, and it said that the cup size might be too small, but looking at the bra itself, it really looks like they're just slightly too big, if anything. I don't think this was necessarily the right bra for me, but it is very well-made and very nice-looking. Reading the recently-posted comment from one of the designers for this company sheds a bit of light on it -- if you have a lot of separation, I think this might work for you a lot better than it does me. This bra is a dream. It doesn't cost a lot; fits well; and is practically indistructable. The lace of the bra also gives you a great looking bra, something that is extremely hard to find in my size. I love it, love it, love it! marshonne w from seattle, WA USA

I would not recommend this one for the fuller chested woman. The cups are not as molded and it seems to lose shape quickly. I have only owned it for a few weeks and it is already losing shape. I would recommend the Elila 1305 for the fuller chested woman instead.

Elila Response: Hello, I am the designer for Elisa products. This 2311 bra is a generous full cup bra that’s made for a woman who has separation between her breasts and wants a medium support bra with lace. It is not for a woman who is looking for firm support. Your comment above is correct; if you want a firm support garment from Elila, choose the 1305. Please also remember to never wash the garments in hot water or with bleach or a bleach alternative, and never put them in the dryer. Intimate apparel is delicate and needs to be treated so. What a revelation! This bra was comfortable all day, from the moment I put it on until I took it off. (And it's pretty to look at too!)That's a major accomplishment when you are supporting very full "I" cup breasts. I have had much trouble finding supportive bras whose cups actually fit. I have pretty much been stuck with the Goddess 106, which works but the straps slip and lately the quality has gone down - the wires poke through the fabric after only a few washings and wearings. Thank you Her Room for a comfortable, attractive bra for these very large breasts. Mandy from NJ

I found the cup sizes to run rather large. Diane from Mississippi, USA

I have difficulty finding bras to support my "needs" and this bra does a nice job. It is comfortable and feminine. Too bad these things cost so much for us amply sized girls. hi2connie from Pittsburgh

I love this bra. The best I've tried yet for those who have large heavy breasts. Very comfortable. Jillian from Frederick/MD/USA
