Love everything about this bra except the hard plastic side supports that are sewn in. They are very uncomfortable for a short overweight individual.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for your comment. The side boning is necessary to keep the sides and back from collapsing because this is a wireless bra. You are correct that this may be too much bra for someone who is short-waisted like you.

I've been eying this bra for a couple years & finally decided to order. Omg, best bra ever! It's pricey, but it is so worth it if you are busty and need side smoothing. The cups are seamless so it's good for wearing t shirts. I love Her Room!

This is super comfy as an "around the house" bra assuming three things: 1. You have the correct band size; 2. You have the correct cup size; 3. You remove the plastic boning on the sides. Good support, no boob seams, thumbs up.
HerRoom Response: We never recommend the removal of the side boning - especially in a wire free bra. Doing so can cause your sides to collapse. and bulge.

The cups of this bra run very large. I mean maybe two sizes too large than other bras the same size. The band size was fine.

Have been wearing this bra for several years. The reason I did not give it 5 stars is that the boning on the sides cuts into my skin so I have to cut out the boning before I can wear it. Wish they would not put in the boning or modify it somehow. Believe if the lower end was little shorter it would be better.

First, I will say I usually wear a 38I. Trust them when they suggest adjusting your measurements for this bra. Second, I thought I had found the Holy Grail but not quite. I can't tolerate wire and I don't want old-lady, pointy boobs. This met those requirements. The cups are a soft molded material that give you a very rounded look. There are pieces of plastic (instead of wire?) sewn into the side support. After a day of sitting and bending they had bent out of shape and were poking me.. ouch. I wound up cutting a tiny hole and removing them with little problem. At this point my main problem is that I still find the material a teeny bit itchy. Not terribly but enough that I can't forget about the bra... I'm constantly adjusting or itching at it. It must be something about the microfiber. I have washed it several times now. Also, the straps are not padded at all so they dig in to the shoulders. If they could just make the straps a bit padded it would help so much.. especially for those of us with large cup sizes. Almost great but not quite.

This bra is fine, but I had to take the boning out. When I got home from work the first time I wore it, the boning had punctured my skin. I believe that if I were of average height, this would not have happened. I've worn it since removing the boning and it's supportive and comfortable. I'd love to have a bra option for shorter people with a large chest. Painful bras have become a way of life. And, I really wish I didn't have to pay enormous prices for bras AND still having to alter them.

I liked the cups of the bra, however when I tried it on and sat down in it, the band seemed to dig into my ribs a bit too severely. The band size was correct, however it sat on my body too low.
HerRoom Response: Elila uses traditional band sizing, so add 3" to 4" to your underband measurement. If you are new to the Elila brand, go up 1 band size and down 2 cup sizes from your current bra size (e.g. If you're a 36H(D5), move to a 38F(D3)).

I like this bra but finding the exact fit is a problem, I have two of these. The first one I followed the suggestions they had on the website about adjusting the band and cup size, that one is a little too big around but still wearable. The second one I went down a band size and ordered the cup size that was recommended on the site. I'm thinking I should really go up one cup size because that one fits but I think the cup size could be a little bigger. Oh, and I took the boning out of the sides, that just gets bent up and uncomfortable in my opinion.

With a small rib cage, large bust, and an intolerance for underwires, finding a bra that fits me and is comfortable is like searching for a needle in a haystack, but this one fits the bill! The sizing is definitely different from most US sizing; I wear a 34I in most US sizing and the 36G in this bra fits me perfectly, so I would definitely recommend following Her Room's sizing directions.

This is the most uncomfortable bra I have ever put on my body. It wasn't the fit that was the problem - it was the material. This thing ITCHED. The weird tiny pieces that stick out from the bottom dig into your flesh if you move the wrong way and the fabric itself is low quality. I don't recommend this for anyone.
Elila Response: We always suggested washing your garments before wearing to remove any finishes that may cause sensitivity.

The band on this bra is too tight. I ordered the 44K and it's not true to size. I order 2 other styles at the same time that fit great, but this one is so uncomfortable across the back and causes bulges, and in the front I have tiny speed bumps. I will not order a 46, it's bad enough I have to order a 44.
HerRoom Response: We do suggest going up a band and down two cup sizes in this style.

Not happy about it. Not enough support and straps slide.
HerRoom Response: Your bra is not giving you enough support, so your shoulder straps are being forced to do too much work, or your straps are too tight or too narrow. Straps should carry no more than 10% of the breast's weight. We suggest going down a band size and up a cup size.

I like this bra. The size recommended was correct for me. Good support without underwires. My only complaint (as with others) is that the stays on the back side dig into the ski after a full day of wearing it. It would be nice if this could be remedied. I can only wear this bra one day, and then need to wear something different, because my skin is sore.
Elila Response: You can open the seam where the stays are and remove them without damaging the fit of the garment, just be sure to put a couple stitches back in with a needle and thread. I think this will make it perfect for you!

Cup size was way too big. I wear a 44DDD and according to your chart needed to purchase the 44F which was way too big.
HerRoom Response: We are sorry to hear that this bra did not work for you. Elila has unique bra sizing. Please refer to our comment on the size chart where we suggest adjusting your traditional size for a better Elila fit. We recommend going up a band size and down two cup sizes. If you are typically a 44DDD (D3), we recommend trying a 46D (D1). Also keep in mind that all brands size differently after a D cup. Check out our brand conversion chart on our Bra Cup Fitting Guide.

While this is the best wire-free bra I've ever had, it still has some problems. I've found that with this particular style, the cup sizes run a little small, no problem-I order the next size up. The band fits well around the rib cage and is secure. The major problem is that "the girls" migrate toward the middle creating the infamous uniboob. I really am convinced that well-endowed women need an underwire if they want the girls to stay put.

I live in the country and still do quite a bit of manual labor on our cattle ranch. I needed a bra with mobility and strong support, but still one that the band doesn't ride up. I can honestly say this is the best bra I've ever owned. I was a little leary of ordering it because of some of the ratings it had, but as far as I can tell those ratings were wrong!! I would very much like to see Elila make a bra exactly like this one, but with foam molded cups. Women my age have had breast biopsies and have dimples or indentations where small suspected cancer areas were removed. I have never seen a wireless foam molded bra in larger sizes like mine.

I work as a police officer, ride horses as a hobby and still want to feel sexy at times. That means I have bras for dang near everything. I bought this bra for work. Keep in mind that I wear a bullet proof vest at all times when I'm working so I had to have something that breathes fairly well, has coverage and that is comfortable. I picked this bra because of suggestions made in other reviews. I hate it for what I do. The boning on the side dug in and caused sores that were so painful, After one day, I swore I wouldn't wear it ever again. I did try again and just couldn't do it. Since it didn't work for work, I thought maybe I could wear it for horseback riding. Fellow riders, I wouldn't suggest it either - embarrassing bounce! Mind you, it's not sold as a sports bra, it was just recommended by others as a nice alternative. I disagree. If you're just looking for a basic everyday bra, this would fit the bill, but if you are going for impact control or comfort, pick something else.

I absolutely love this bra - it provides the support that 99% of large-breast bras don't. I am petite and have little to no fat on my rib cage, which means I absolutely can not have my bra place the weight on my rib cage. Naturally, the weight is on my shoulders as a result - but it is the lesser of the two evils.
That being said, the sizing is somewhat irrational. The band run very small - I normally wear a 32 band and in this bra a 36 fits fine. This is dramatically different from other bras. The cup sizes also appear somewhat irrationally measured, as a 36H has a larger cup size (at least in volume it holds) than the 36I. I'm returning the I and ordering a K to be safe, as the difference was significant. I love this bra but the sizing anomalies make it very difficult to order so I knocked off a star.

I have had a terrible time trying to find a bra that was supportive yet comfortable. I can't wear underwires so all the bras I have the ladies were really sagging. I ordered this bra because it was molded. I was amazed and relieved when I got it and it fit perfect and was supportive. I have been wearing it everyday and with regular washings it has held up better than any bra I have ever purchased. I am ordering more the only draw back is that is doesn't come in white and I really think I could use and I but the H holds me in place well enough. I highly recommend this bra.

This bra fits me perfectly!!! I went to a custom fitting shop in Jackson, MS and was fitted with this bra. The molded cup is smooth, even under t-shirts. Great support. I have recommended to all of my friends!

This is an ok bra. Supportive, but uncomfortable at the boning. Not that uplifting, for as supportive as it feels. Well made, but slightly overlarge at the sides.

I have worn this bra every day for a year. It is the only bra that worked for me. Surprisingly, it is still in excellent condition! I only wish it came in a smaller band size as I had to sew the band to make it smaller around. But that worked, and I may have to do the same thing again if I can't find another wireless bra that fits and has good support.

I had to buy a bra without an underwire for work, and frankly, I don't like wearing them. But to be fair, this one has good support throughout the day and is pretty comfortable. my only complaint is that the side supports are long and cut into my sides when I sit down.

This was my second purchase of this same bra. It is a good bra for those with a larger cup size that need more cup support than an underwire or regular style can provide. Well made, the straps don't slip down the arm and lasts through multiple washings and wearings.

I did have to take the plastic support pieces out of the sides, but once I did that, this bra is everything I wanted, comfortable, seamless, supportive, and in the color I wanted. Thank you, thank you! I have such a hard time finding a good bra in my size.

It's very difficult to order online without having the opportunity to try on a garment. I ordered and sent back 3 times before getting this bra. It's not quite right but, frankly, I'm tired of trying for a perfect style and fit. The wires on this model come up too high and cut into my skin, so I would not recommend it for a short person. I've purchased wire cutters and will try to cut down the wire on the sides. Wish me luck! The cup is larger than other styles and brands, so I should have the next size down to fit better. I'm a bit frustrated that I'm not able to purchase larger size bras at a local department store. It would make life so much easier!
HerRoom Response: We recommend you look at our petite plus-size department where we identify bras that fit petite women better.
Elila Response:If the underarm bone irritates you then take it out, especially if you have a short torso and it is uncomfortable. Side bones stop the garment from stretching too much, but it won’t hurt the overall fit if you remove it.

This is my second week wearing my new bra and I'm concerned. I've been experiencing some chaffing underneath my armpits. At first it was only on the left, now it's on both sides. I don't know if that's because I just need to break in the new bra or if this is abnormal. I am concerned because even though at the beginning of the day, the bra feels fine, by the end of the day I can't wait to take it off. Is this normal?
Elila Response:If the garment chafes then it is too big. Unfortunately the 1803 doesn’t go to a 34. Also, we all have one side that is bigger than the other. You can try putting a small pad in the smaller cup side and it will help fill in the garment so it won’t rub.

This one is a little stiff and the shoulder straps are not as comfortable as I would like. OK if you want a heavily constructed bra with substantial elastic and fabric.
Elila Response:Elila bras are medium to full support garments that are highly constructed so if you are not looking for highly constructed garments then you will not appreciate what you are trying on.

I went by the size chart from this web site and the bra was huge. Way off with the suggested size. Returned bra and stuck to a bra that I knew.
Elila Response:: We're not sure if you went to HerRoom’s measurement chart or Elila’s so it’s a bit confusing. We suggest a couple different ways to measure your size. Unfortunately it is not an exact science, which is why people must try them on. Elila's band size lengths are consistent throughout the brand which have been established since the 1960’s.

Half of getting a great bra is education on the right size. That and I love seamless, full figure, wireless bras. This is an excellent bra. Combine that with the right size and it feels good. It doesn't feel tight. It doesn't itch. If I had one gripe, which really is no big thing, I wish they made more seamless, wireless bras like this, in different colors especially white and black. I am quite pleased with this bra and highly recommend it.

I just recently had my bra re-sized. With that being said, I picked this bra because it had no underwire and it was seamless. It is so difficult getting my size seamless let alone without an underwire. I tried it on and I was amazed. What a comfortable wearing bra. I put a shirt over it and "the ladies," look perfect and shapely proportioned. I recommend this bra for anyone. The cherry on the cake were the adjustable straps. I am definitely getting more of these.

Had formerly purchased a different Elila bra that fit fairly well. This model was too cumbersome on me. The sides were very tall and the boning was uncomfortable. I am returning the bra.

I LOVE this bra! I like that it doesn't have seams across the front, so it looks nice under T-Shirts. It is very supportive and comfortable. I am a 48G and need comfortable support and this bra does it. Great Bra!
