Quality is good but this bra runs at least a size small.
HerRoom Response: This bra has been around for more than 20 years and has a solid history of running true to size.

The Chantelle Amazone 2101 has always been my favorite bra for fit and support but all underwire bras started hurting me. I love this unwired version and it offers excellent fit, comfort, and support. I measure 36 band and the 40 fits me perfectly.

I've been wearing Chantelle for about 15 years. I need wireless bras and have tried other brands, but always come back to Chantelle (still have the first black one I purchased). 4 stars is because the back closures always scratch. It seems manufacturers are using cheaper finishing techniques, so edges are sharp and threads poke. I end up using an emery board to smooth which helps.

Nicely made but the shape wasn't flattering on me. It was sort of a pointy/downward shape. I really wanted a wireless bra for the comfort but this one didn't work for me.
Chantelle Response: Hi Dee! We totally understand your quest for a comfortable wireless style and are sorry to hear that the Chantelle Amazone Soft-Cup Bra 2102 did not provide the shape you wanted. I'm very pleased! It has always been so hard for me to find a well fitting bra because I'm small in the shoulders and back, yet have all this ... frontage. In stores, they assume that if you need a larger cup size, that you must be a large woman! It is so frustrating! To the topic at hand: when I first took this bra out of the packaging I fell immediately in love, but assumed it was going to be ships passing in the night because I've never had any luck with 'pretty' bras before. to my delight, the support is actually pretty good. There's a little 'leakage' at the under arm, but it shapes me well enough otherwise that this is acceptable. No uniboobage, I gots cleavage! And the stays at the sides are not uncomfortable at all.

I returned this bra because it have me a very pointed silhouette. I prefer a more natural rounded look. My breasts are shallow at the top (not full) & I recall reading that the Amazon style will do that. The support was great, as always with Chantelle. The bra fit true to size. But, I will stick with the Tamaris.
Vendor Response:
The cup shape on the 2102 has a more project silhouette, we would suggested trying Chantelle Cachmeire 3 part cup which offers a more modern rounded silhouette. You may also try a Chantelle T-shirt bra Pure 3612 memory foam, 3616 Pure full coverage t-shirt bra or Rive Gauche 3086 t-shirt bra.

I returned this bra because even though I am a 32C, I found the bra was not as supportive as the 32 D. The larger cup size was hardly noticeable because the back band was so much more supportive. I just wish the company would make these bras in black.

We would suggest trying Cachemire soft cup (No Wire) style 3375 3 part cup which is available in Black.

I bought this same bra 2 years ago and it is my favorite so I bought another one. It is easy to hook, comfortable, uplifts without underwires. Best bra I have EVER had. Got white the first time but this one is ivory and I like it too. Still wearing the first one too so they hold up well after many many wearings and washings. Pricey but worth it. I love the fit of the bra, but am very disappointed in the construction.
I purchased one bra the end of July, by the middle of August, one of the underwires was came out, when I was at work. It was replaced & after wearing 3 times, the boning under the arm was coming out of this one, I fixed and after wearing 24 times the underwire poked through this one. The store refuses to give a refund, exchange or give me an address to contact the manufacturing company.

It's so hard to find a bra that's larger than a C cup that is not enormous and grandmotherly. This bra is sexy and also offers great support. My favorite bra. Comfortable, sexy, supportive...perfect. I wear a 42C or 40D, and got this in a 42C. The cups are just slightly too big, so the mesh wrinkles a tiny bit, making it not great under t-shirts -- but I didn't buy it for that purpose anyhow.
If your nipples are sort-of high up, they might show through the mesh part, but that's not really something I'm concerned about, since I don't wear super-low tops with this bra. I had breast reduction surgery, so I'm very picky about bras. I also have oddly shaped breasts -- a wide band size, but smaller breasts, that are bigger on the sides than in the front.
Love, love, love this bra!

I kept this item because it has the best uplift and definition I have ever seen in a soft cup bra, it is pretty, and it fits perfectly (like it was made for me). My nipples sit right in the center of the cups instead of sagging to the lower half. Unfortunately, I knew trying it on that it had a number of places that I was afraid might chafe me (including the boning and some of the seams like under the cups and where the straps attach at the back). I'm the ultra sensitive bra shopper. But I just couldn't bear to send it back, so I washed it and am trying to "break it in" by wearing it little by little. I'm not giving a rating at this point since I'm not sure of the comfort. But if nothing else, I could wear it for a more special look or when I want to dress up. I do wish more soft cup bras were made to give this kind of definition.

The only reason I didn't rate this bra 5 stars, is that the lace can be seen
under t shirts. Perhaps, I should have realized I needed a t shirt bra. However,
I love the way it fits and feels. I recently lost weight and this is the first bra
I bought in a 34D (previously, I wore a 36D). I love that it doesn't have any
underwires and is not molded. I wish I could find a t shirt bra just like it.!!!

Deceptive photo, possibly altered. I chose this bra for the elegant peekaboo quality. As it turns out, there is far more "lace" stitching on the cups -- curlicues everywhere. It probably didn't photograph that well -- take a good look at the picture.
If the design of this bra changed, then the retailer ought to have put an accurate photo online. That's the ethical thing do to.
Not pleased at all. HerRoom Response: The primary photo was shot by Chantelle. This is why we do additional shots - to give you a different perspective. HerRoom and HisRoom do not alter photos to change the look of a garment. The bra design has not changed.
