No support whatsoever. It's about the same as not even wearing a bra. The sides are up in my armpits and rubs the area raw by the end of the day. If you're looking for a t-shirt for your breasts (covers the skin and NOTHING ELSE), this is for you.

I have been buying this bra for many years. In the past few years I've thrown away many bras that have torn in the little triangle area where the strap meets the band in back just below the o-ring. 3 in the last few months. I keep my nails trimmed.

The size tag says 34P it is more a size 40M.. when fastened toward the inside it stretches 4 inches. In the descrlption it says to go down one band size. Also it only comes in one color depending on the size.
HerRoom Response: We feel this bra runs true to size - even in the D13 cup size.

This bra is the only one I have found that fits and is comfortable. The band tends to run big so it is often better to go down a band size (or two!) and up a cup size. I have been wearing this style bra for many years.

Loved the close straps (straps are always sliding off my shoulders) and the high 'neckline'. It looked great for a few hours, if you don't mind a more pointy look. After a while though, I was droopy dog and it looked terrible. Boobs pointing down.
HerRoom Response: Straps sliding off your shoulders and becoming droopy while wearing are both symptoms of being in a band size too big. Consider a 38J(D7) or maybe eve na 36K(D8).

It’s mostly a perfect fit, has a little extra material on the sides under the arms area. When you have a larger chest when you wear most of these bras you tend to look really boxy. Great support. Well made.

Horrible! No support whatsoever! Band and sides stretch so much I could have gone dowe 4 band sizes instead of 1. Cups have no symmetrical shape. Why would a bra with a P cup have zero support in the band? Straps and back adjustment hooks are OK.
HerRoom Response: In 2007 you reviewed this bra and gave it a 3 star review. Your size then was a 44K(D8). You are now reviewing it with a 5 cup increase - 44P(D13). We feel you are in the wrong size.

I was disappointed because the band was not supportive at all. The elastic is very thin and not strong. I have ordered a smaller band with cup E, hoping I will get better support.
HerRoom Response: Yes, the band is running small. However, you should have moved from a 36E to a 34F to maintain your same cup volume.

Taking Tamima’s tip and ordering down a band size up a cup size is recommended. However, the bra offers absolutely no support and my breasts looked very oval to rounded, cone-like in appearance. A pictorial would be more like an eggplant. I’m very very heavy chested and even my husband agreed that the bra added no support in appearance, it looked like I was wearing a sports bra, which for me is awful bc there are no sports bras that offer support for the weight of my breast. Bras that fit are hard to find, but bras that offer support for the WEIGHT of my breasts are even harder to find. I was hoping this bra would work because it isn’t underwire and yet the only other options for me are bras that are underwire. Which becomes a tedious cleaning task. But when you’re limited to choosing from 13 (more like 4 actually) out of 2300+ bras, you take what you’re given. Unfortunately, I’m so disappointed that I will be returning this bra.
HerRoom Response: You have an extremely difficult cup size to try and support the way you wish.

Awful bra. Material extremely flimsy. Since there is no wire, material should have been more sturdy. Not worth the money at all.
Aviana Response: A bra can be made from a comfortable material and still provide the support needed for a full busted woman. The support is not so much in the material, but in the structure and framework of the bra. This bra has a wide foam sling in the cup that is much more supportive than an underwire as well as being more comfortable due to the fabrics we use. Bottom line, if the bra seems too flimsy, then the band and/or cup are too big for you. Since a 32 band is our smallest band, you may want to try a smaller cup.

I followed the tips on this bra before ordering and it was wrong. It said to go a size bigger, which I did and it was too big. The band size was perfect.

The bra is comfortable, however you can NOT adjust the straps much at all. It feels like a sports bra in a way, due to the fact that you have no control, you just get what you get. I will only be wearing this bra around the house.

This bra has full coverage on the sides as well as the front. I did order my size by the recommendations by the website. I normally buy a 42 or 44 DDD, but went down on band size and up on cup size. It is not superstiff so it's comfortable for wearing all day. The only thing I would like is if the sides of the band on the band had a little more support. I will purchase this bra again. Would like it in other colors, especially white and black.

This bra has no band support. Far, far, far too stretchy in the band. Cups are ok; they do cover quite a bit. Straps are not stretch, but provide adequate adjustment. For me, band support is important.
HerRoom Response: If you have no band support than you are wearing a band that is too big for you. This is very typical. Most women do NOT wear the correct band size. Every brand and even styles within a band will fit each body type differently. The 2353 does run a little big in the band size. Try going down a band size or two and I'm sure you will get the support that you need. If the band is riding up your back, then you have definitely chosen the wrong band size.

Excellent coverage. Flimsy bra. The under-cup support is flimsy, it rolls under and it doesn't stay in place in cup. The back straps are flimsy and do not hold well. The back straps should be a tighter material (more spandex) Will not order again.

This is the MOST comfortable and BEST fitting bra I have ever owned! I have to admit I was a little skeptical when I first tried it on because the band is very stretchy and the cups looked a little small. It totally does the job!! The band stays in place, the cups size is perfect. I did measure, as was suggested by this site, before purchase. In my size the band has 5 hooks which turned out not to be a problem. For me this bra does have a very slight minimizing effect that only I notice.

I do not like this bra at all. The back slides up my back and the cups offer no support. My breasts are nearly as saggy with it on as when I'm not even wearing a bra. The material is soft , but overall this was a waste of money for me.

I've been wearing this bra 5 days a week for two months now, and I think its a good bra. Not great, but good for ladies who are as large as I am. Not an every day bra though as I already feel the straps slip and have to be adjusted all the time. Would recommend it if you have two others to alternate with.

I ordered according to my universal size instead of going up a cup size and down a band size because that was just too confusing if you are going by universal sizing. The cup was a little too big and the cups are pretty pointy. It seemed like it would have been a comfortable bra, though.

I have been wearing this bra for years and it has noticeable improvements, the cups are larger and seem more like the size they should be. It now has 5 hooks which I hate as they are hard to hook but does seem to help keep in place and from riding up so much. I think the half under cup circle should be made to fill lower half of cup and just a tad stiffer material as I think that would help support heavier breasts and take some weight off shoulder. It also seems it is a little bigger band size as I can hook in second set of hooks and I have never been able to do this before.

I carefully measured and measured again before ordering, and this bra is entirely too big so offers no support. I am thoroughly disappointed. I see now in a few of the reviews some mentioning about going down a band size and up a cup size. To that I say this: there is a bra size standard which all bra manufacturers must adhere to; women should not need to compensate for a bra manufacturer's inconsistencies.

Disappointed! Bra fits perfectly in the cup, but the back support is lacking from what I am used to since I am very large breasted. The instructions on the HerRoom page are correct - down a band size up a cup size will get you the right size with this bra. I ordered one in my normal size - 42I, and one in the adjusted size - 40J. I normall take a 46K but the fitting instructions said that they run big. I got a 44K and should have gone even smaller. Probably 42J. It is very comfortable and super soft material! But it does pucker on the seam right across your breast. I think a smaller cup would fix that. The band is very stretchy hence why I should have gone down 2 band sizes. After all day wearing the band is streched and I can tighten it anymore for more support. It feels great when you try it on.

I was really hoping this bra would fit. As instructed, I went down a size and up a cup size. It didn't quite fit. Also, I was disappointed in the puckering along the cup line. I should have known because the picture showed the puckering, but I was hoping that the one I bought would not have that puckering, alas, not true. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

I'm trying to switch over from underwire to soft cup bras, but so far I'm not having any luck. Not quite enough support in this one. Also, the straps don't adjust enough for my height (I'm short). I'd maybe consider buying this again and having the straps shortened, but I'd rather buy something that fits. Also, it seems like every wireless bra I find, including this one, just comes up too high in the armpits. Maybe if you're taller, it's fine, but I'm not, and I prefer not to have a bra rubbing into my armpit - it's annoying.
Aviana Response: Soft cups like ours have a wide foam sling that actually provides more support than an underwire. If you're not getting enough support, then the band may be too big. Remember - you want the band very snug, and parallel to the floor. A snug band and proper strap adjustment is what gives you your support. Cushions can be adjusted by moving the flat slider into the front of the bra over the foam strap. Just work one side of the slider over the wide part of the strap into the position you want, then pull the strap through the back side of the slider and VOILA! Your strap is half the length it was. I hope that helps!

This is the 2nd of these bras I've ordered, but this time trying a different size and cup. As another review said, the cup does not tend to lay smooth. I believe the manufacturer comment was that the cup size was too big then. But in my case, a smaller cup would not work because this size already gives me a slight buldge at the cleavage. The bra has moderate, but not the best, support overall. For me, I'd just have to say it's okay. I doubt I will order another one.
Aviana Response:
Aviana has personally fit this bra on hundreds of women, and in the right size, it supports beautifully with no wrinkling across the cup. I understand your frustration, but finding the correct bra style and size can take several tries. Not every style fits every body type. You might want to try our Aviana Soft-Cup Lace Bra 2352, which has a slightly smaller cup or even the Aviana Softcup Minimizer Bra 2357. They might fit your body type better.

If you have large breasts and can't cope with an underwire, this is the only bra that will do the trick. My only regret is that the bra is a little high and scratchy on the sides, but given my size that's the least of my concerns... The straps worked well for me: I am 5'1, and on many bras I can't shorten the straps enough.

This bra was awful. There was absolutely no support anywhere in it.
Aviana Response: If the bra is not supportive then it is probably due to the fact that you have chosen the wrong size. The band should fit snugly across your back and be parallel to the floor and should not ride up. If it does, then the band is too big. Try a smaller band size.

In my size range there are lots of highly structured bras that are a bit much for me, so I was happy to find this soft alternative. It's easy to put on because it's stretchy, and I like the natural rounded shape. Also the back band is plenty wide, with 5 hooks which are necessary for support. My only objection is the strap adjusters in the back, which slip out of adjustment and you can't fix them without taking the bra off. Otherwise it's very nice, especially when I can get it in black.

I find these bras fit wonderfully and are very comfortable for working outside, digging, etc. They provide medium support, it's not as rigid as an under-wire, but then nothing pokes you when you pick up a hay bale or jump into an archaeological pit either!
The band size, on me, runs large. I should wear a 46, but in these I wear a 44 and one larger cup size than 'normal'. I've worn the larger band size before, and it didn't fit as well although it was still pretty comfortable and usable.

The band size feels true, although I find the cup size to run a little big. It doesn't fit as well as the Aviana Minimizer. However, it is a *very* comfortable bra. I had previously only bought Goddess bras, but I have problems with the spines on the side curling and digging into my skin. Aviana doesn't have quite the lift of the Goddess bras, but does a good job. I will be switching to Aviana.

Cups are much larger than the two Goddess bras I bought in the same size, and the band not nearly as snug. I washed it (so now it's mine forever), hoping that that would shrink it a bit, but no. I have it on right now at its tightest hooks and the back is halfway up to my neck. In the front the cups are all ripply and puckered. If wrinkly boobs and tugging constantly at your back band are the look you're going for, this is the bra for you. I can't wait to get home and set the girls free.

Even though I followed this site's sizing directions exactly, this bra did not fit. It was tight in the band and very loose in the cup. Another bra I purchased here fit just right so I assume the problem is with this bra. Please be careful when ordering. I have already returned this item.

Congratulations to Aviana for making bras which actually have big enough cups for those like me with ridiculously large breasts!
Aviana makes underwire bras as well, but has soft cup bras in large sizes for those of us who can’t wear underwire! Hooray!
I agree with other reviewers, and with the advice given by HerRoom, that you need to go down one size in the band for this bra. Unfortunately, though, I could not go up a cup size, as a K cup is the largest in this style of bra. (Yes, I have tried the minimizer (2357) in the larger size and will review that bra separately.) The five hooks at the back are excellent and necessary for back support in this size.
This bra has reasonable support for a soft cup bra. The straps, while they are comfortable, do need to have better adjustment options. I will have to sew my straps up to make them about an inch shorter. So far, my sewing machine has been unable to do this, but I will try with another sewing machine.
Because of this strap problem, this bra makes me a bit droopy in the breasts which is fairly common in my hard-to-fit size. It also means that the weight (8 or 9 pounds) all falls into the middle, putting pressure on the ribcage under each breast and in the middle. The bruising on my ribcage in this area makes it impossible to wear any bra for more than a few hours.
Apart from that, this bra does fit: it contains most of the large breasts. There is no spillage at the side. And it is reasonably comfortable. Some more interesting colours would be nice. I have three black ones.
On the whole, I am very happy with HerRoom. A very big thank you to all of you women (or ladies) who have written such helpful reviews! They have been so helpful for me ordering bras from overseas.
Please don’t stop making this bra! All the good well-designed bras seem to get discontinued. I hope this one will be available for many years to come.

Unable to shorten straps sufficiently due to design, resulting in straps falling off shoulders. Don't know if getting a size smaller in the band would relieve the problem...shoulders are very narrow and I am short waisted, so i doubt it...bra doesn't seem to be made for petite women.

I have worn an underwire bra for almost 40 years and am somewhat used to its uncomfortable-ness. I decided to try a wire free bra and bought this one. It doesn't feel like it provides enough support. It feels like a harness to me and its actually uncomfortable in a sort of comfortable way. It doesn't shape my breasts like an underwire bra does and it makes me look bigger than an underwire bra would. I really am on the fence about this bra. I will try another style of a wireless bra with the hopes that it will be better. The straps are problematic too - they only cinch the bra up just so far - I need more lift.

Band runs large. Band rides up. It is nice to have a large cup size but it ran large also.
Aviana Response: : No bra is going to fit well if it's the wrong size for you. If the band is riding up, then the band size is too big. I'm also not surprised that you found the cup too big as well. They were designed this way so that the breast tissue doesn't pop out of the top or sides. Don't give up on the first try. I'd suggest that you try a smaller band and cup. Good luck!

I'm sure it's a fine bra for some, but I've rediscovered that I'm not a fan of soft cup/no wire, as it makes the ta-tas look like 32HH torpedoes instead of them having a nice slightly rounded shape, and lifted. Comfortable bra otherwise, just not the right style for me.
Aviana Response: There are several styles made to fit different body types. Not every style will fit each woman the same. Being so petite, I can see why this bra gave you that torpedo look! If you are looking for a more rounded shape and are used to underwires, try our Aviana 2457. It gives a beautiful rounded profile. I'm sorry the 2353 didn't work out for you.

I've spent several months looking for a supportive bra that doesn't dig into my chest that I could wear for working out. This one does the trick. The straps are padded and easy on my shoulders. The cup is nice and full and covers me on the tops and sides of my breasts. The band is very wide and supportive- it seems to really carry the weight so my back is not in pain. I think I have found my "go-to" bra.

I'm sure this is a nice bra, however after ordering the same brand (lace cup version) it was recommended to go down a band size and up a cup size in this bra. Unfortunately, the band fit the same as the 34F i have in the lace cup and the cup was huge...So, I will have to return it. But I've been so pleased in dealing with Her Room. I'll be back for something else.
Aviana Response:
I’m sorry you experienced a problem finding the right cup size. Often the “down a band and up a cup” works perfectly for the 2353, but not always.

This is a repeat purchase of this bra. I have VERY large, full, heavy breasts. My expectations of fit are low, and I was pleased with it. This is the first bra I have found in years that gives any kind of support, at least enough so that I don't get strap grooves in my shoulders. The girls are well-contained, with not much spillage. Fit isn't 100% perfect, but I'm not going to mess with it. The bra is very comfortable, stood up well to machine washing (I get too sweaty for handwashing to be effective), and it's attractive enough. I do wish it still came in black - please, Aviana, bring back the black.

This bra could offer a little more support, but overall it's a nice bra for larger fuller heavier breasts. I liked the different color options but I would like to see this bra in more colors. I have finally found my bra!!! It took some trial and error (and the wonderful service provided by HerRoom!), but I found it. I had never tried Aviana bras before and had to try a couple of styles before I found what I was looking for, but I knew from the first Aviana I tried that I was on the right track. Once I ordered and exchanged a few times and found the right style and perfect size, I couldn't be happier. No stretch in the straps, which for me is tantamount if you are looking for good support for large, heavy breasts. The floral soft cup is sleek and smooth and will wear well (I'm not a fan of lace or embroidery on everyday bras). I'm very, very happy with Aviana and HerRoom.

Very comfortable but poor support. I will only use this bra at home on the weekends. It is a great lounge around bra for when you don't care about great support. There is too much elastic in the band allowing for too much bounce. At this size I don't need the extra bounce. Cushions on straps are preset and do not hit on my shoulders very well.
Aviana Response:
The 2353 is an extremely supportive bra in the correct size. Cushions can be adjusted by moving the flat slider into the front of the bra, past the wide part of the strap. If you are bouncing, the band is too big. Try a smaller size and the bounce will disappear. This bra is a workhorse – it fits and supports all the way up to 56K.

After a long search, I've finally found a bra that fits, after learning that my old faithful, Goddess, has gone and resized their bras to the extent I can't figure out what size I should buy, even with the excellent help on this website. I tried a Goddess Keira in 50G and it was disastrously small in the cups. I feel fortunate the cups didn't tear just from me trying to fit into it!
My current Goddess is a 48F and, following advice here, I decided a 50I Aviana would be equivalent, and it pretty much is. The cups are a little large, but I wouldn't say an entire cup size too large. I'm just relieved to find a bra in this range at this point in time that doesn't crush me like a pancake.
This Aviana is a nice, soft bra with great support, considering there are no underwires. It doesn't leave me with half the girls hanging under my arms, either. I have never found a bra before without either underwires and/or side boning that could do that. Quite a feat! For that alone, I'd have to give this bra an A+.
It's quite comfortable and I think it is lovely, not industrial at all, considering the size. I love the soft floral brocade and think it is more attractive than a lot of the lace bras I've had.
I love that HerRoom goes out of its way to help you find a good fit and describe the bras as thoroughly as possible. I won't be going elsewhere in the future for bras! Love the lavender tissue paper wrap as well - the whole process makes me feel that HerRoom appreciates women's femininity and cares about good fit.

This looks fine but the shoulder straps were too short for this size of bra. So I had to return this bra.
Aviana Response:
Our strap length and infinite adjustment are great for most, but I agree there is a very small percentage of the population with a torso too long or too short for the adjustment in our straps. It is highly uncommon to hear the straps are too short - most people are calling to find out how to shorten them past the normal adjustment area! I don't have a good Aviana solution to this - except to say I'm sorry our bra isn't right for you

I love this bra! I got it for the end of my pregnancy and it's so much more comfortable than what I was wearing. I'm guessing I'll like it as a regular bra in lieu of the underwires in the future, too. It shapes the boobs almost as well as the underwires and is incredibly supportive. Straps are very wide - wider than I usually like, but padded and with a pretty curve to them so they're not too bad-looking, even with spaghetti strap tops. The bra is cut very high under the arms - almost felt at first like they would cut into my armpits, but now I appreciate the side support and lack of boob spillage there. I was fitted with a 36J in a local boutique, and bought the 34J from Herroom.com. The 34 fits better. I normally wear a 34, have not put on any ribcage weight with the pregnancy, so maybe the local shop was trying to give me room to grow? The 36 made my boobs point out at weird angles.

I was so excited when I read the description and reviews of this bra. Sadly, even though I followed the suggestions for size information (I measure a 34 DDD/E) the bra was too large in the band and too small in the cups (32F). And, of course, no 30 band is available. As experts continue to tell us that most women are wearing the wrong size bra, my response is that the right size bra is sometimes impossible to find! I want a snug band, no wires, full coverage. My hopes of finding it in this bra were not to be. For those who wear a larger band size, I am happy this bra is available for them. I will continue my search, even though I get REALLY tired of paying to send back bras that don't match their description.
Aviana Response:The measurement guide is just that - a guide. It is no substitute for a little trial and error with sizes. No matter what the measurements are, our bodies are all different, and we always recommend that women order a few sizes. Not only will this accomplish a better fit, but it will allow you to have a bra in your drawer for every different body size you encounter during the month. Some days we're a few inches smaller, and some days we have water weight, or bloating, which requires a slightly larger size. We wish Aviana offered a 30 band - there seem to be lots of women who could use it.

So supportive without underwires, yet all weight is not on shoulders. No stretch strap does not cling to shoulder and lets me move. No stretch cup supports the heavier girls. I've tried dozens and dozens and this bra is the best. It's not a minimizer yet makes me look 'less large' and smooth without smashing or pushing to the side. Very comfortable. This is a comfortable bra. I purchased this bra years ago, but couldn't recall the size (the tag was completely worn). So I purchased this in a 40K hoping the cups would fit, since I wear an "N" or "JJ" cup in other brands/styles. There is slight puckering at the nipple area but overall, the fit is great. I'm not sure how to remedy this since the band fits me perfectly in this size.

This bra is very comfortable, offers full coverage but has NO SUPPORT. It is a lovely addition to my "collection" only because I have been wearing only sports bras that are too small for me for the past several years. Great bra. Tips on band size running big were valid. I usually order 40DD and ordered 38E and that was correct. Would buy again.

I've been squeezing and juggling with the next best thing -- Glamorize in a 40I -- for years. A few months back I tried to go down to a 38 but I cup just wasn't big enough. Finally I sucked it up and tried this Aviana bra in a 38J (my *actual* size).
What a relief. Wore it all day yesterday without feeling squeezed or double boobed AND I didn't have to hike it down in back repeatedly either.
It holds the girls up and out a bit more, but as a trade-off on wires it's all good. NOTE: I don't do underwire anymore, so you'll want to take my comments on this in that context.
What a difference the right size makes.

This bra wasn't true to size. I returned item.
Aviana Response:You are right. The 2353 bra does run a bit large in the band. In this style, choose a band close to or slightly larger than the actual band measurement (measure 52", pick a 52 or 54 band). The cups run true to size, and each letter represents a 1" differential between cup and band measurements (measure 52" band and 60" cup, 8 inch difference = 8th letter - H cup). Keep in mind that as the size increases, the possibilities for different sizes fitting well increases. You might need some trial and error. Don't be afraid to go up a cup and down a band - or vice versa. Trying several sizes might lead to the best possible fit. And remember, you aren't the exact same size every day - after a few days of watching our diets we can lose a band or cup size - and we all know about those days feeling a little bloated. Having more than 1 size in your drawer is a great idea.

This is THE most comfortable bra I've ever worn. I've worn the same bra (Goddess) for the past umpteem years and they discontinued it. I've since been on a search for a replacement bra...this is IT!!!! Comfortable, soft, covers completely, feels like you don't have on a bra at all! Will definitely be re-ordering this one!

A pretty bra that's surprisingly supportive and actually comfortable - a winner! It's the first bra in memory that I haven't been in a hurry to get out of by afternoon. Strap adjustments stay put, and nothing digs in, rolls, or rides up. The straps are closer-set than most & seem to peekout at the neckline of many of my tops, which I can live with. I do wish it came in black. I'll be ordering more.

This is the first time in a long time that I actually measured myself and then ordered the bra. The actually order was easy and shipping was fast. The bra is comfortable, but does not offer alot of support. The cups are actually a bit too big and plucker. The band size is fine but the straps are not padded. It was comfortable for the whole day, but I am not sure if I love this bra?

Overall, I am pleased with this bra. The only problem I have with it is that I have to shorten the straps a lot to get what I think is proper lift. Because of this, the sides of the bra dig into my underarms and after a long day I can't wait to take it off. But, I think it's a figure problem, not a bra problem.

While the bra was true to size based on the recommendations made online, I was very disappointed to find that the bra gave the "torpedo" effect. In addition, you can see the seams through my shirts. I have fit bras for a living and I have to say that quite honestly, this is my favorite bra. It gives great support with no underwire. The banding around the edge of the cup is SO supportive. I have to say that while I recommend this bra for everyone, I wish it were more daintily cut, but then quite frankly, when a bra works as hard as ours do, the fact that the bra is as uplifting and pretty as it is, is quite honestly a feat of the modern day marvels of engineering. Can't say enough good about this bra.
I recommend it to all.

I am shocked to find that the cup size is too large for me so the fit is not great. I may try again in a smaller cup size. It is comfortable to wear but doesn't offer me a great fit. The cups gap a little at the arm edge.
Aviana Response:
No matter how great a bra is, if it isn't your size, it won't fit well and it won't look good. I'm not shocked that our cup was roomy on you. We are known around the world for having the biggest cups available. We make large cups because we see too many women bubbling over cups that are too small. Glad you aren't one of them!! The bra fit, and I do prefer non-wired, however this bra simply made me look "dumpy" and was not comfortable for me. I have very full breasts, this particular style was singularly unattractive on me. I wish elastic on the band is covered. It is more comfortable for me as I do have "unusual allergies". Sadly, despite all the raving reviews, this bra does not work for me.
Aviana Response:
With your height, my guess is that "dumpy" look was coming from straps that were too long for you. I'd imagine at a J cup, in that bra without shortening the straps, the "girls" were pointed toward the floor. There is a nifty feature to every Aviana bra - you can adjust the strap all the way into the front of the bra. Just work one side of the slider over the wide part of the strap into the position you want (for you I'd suggest as far as it will go to the front near the cup), then pull the strap through the back side of the slider and VOILA! Your strap is half the length it was. I agree about elastic….a necessary evil and hard to cover without adding bulk to the bra. Good luck!
HerRoom Response: We at HerRoom have tried adjusting the strap as described by Aviana above. It is very difficult since the straps are wider than the slider. It can be done with much work, but it is not a simple solution.

This is the first time I have ever owned a bra that was the correct size. I absolutely love having a bra with cups that fit the right way. The only problem I have personally with this particular item is with the straps. I wish they could be shortened a bit more. I still find my self having to pull up the front and pull down the back. I know this is a problem sometimes when your bra is too small, but I don't think that's what it is. I believe it's from my breast being too heavy. Other than that, this is still the best bra I've ever owned. Thanks HerRoom, for all your help and reasonable prices. I've got 2 more coming and will definitely be ordering more!

I ordered this is both colors and I'm finding that the black fits better than the candlelight. The candlelight doesn't lift and separate as nicely as the black. Overall, I like the black one but I think I might need a smaller band as it still slips around a bit but the girls fill the cups nicely. I also miss underwire but I guess we can't have everything.
Aviana Response:
Black fabrics are often a bit tighter before they are washed. This is a result of the way the fibers are soaked, and the phenomenon usually disappears after the second washing. In a fitting room situation, I always insist on using the lightest available color for this reason. So you may need a smaller band in both colors since the black one is destined to be a bit larger. This is a very small difference in size, so you may also be exactly halfway between sizes. In that case, you may also want to choose the smaller size so that the bra will fit over the longest possible period of time. Although Aviana bras are very strong, over time and with wearing and washing, they will stretch. C Webb - Aviana.

Had to go down a band size and up a cup size. But seems like it might work. I'm not used to soft cups so it will take some getting used to.
Aviana Response:
Yes, the Aviana 2353 runs slightly bigger in the band than most bras. The differential measurement remains the same - so yes, when the band is a size smaller, you need a cup size larger.

This might be my new bra. I miss the support of underwire however I think if I fix a few of the problems with this bra it'll be fine. The girls aren't spilling out of the sides or the top and the band nearly hits my rib cage and the band seems a little too loose. I think I may need to go up one cup size to remedy the rib cage problem and go down a band size for a tighter fit. My only other problem is that the bra keeps slipping forward allowing the girls to droop. I'm not sure but could that just be a cup size problem? HerRoom Response: Your symptom sounds more like your band is too large. If the cups fit properly, you should go down a band size and up a cup size to maintain the same cup volume.

WOW! I have found my bra FINALLY!!!!!! after reading all the reviews so many were like reading about my own body issues with bras...so decided to try it. I ordered a 40 I in black I loved it!! I can't wear underwire it jabs into me and is very uncomfortable this bra lifted , separated and was comfortable from the first try on! I realized after a few wearings that I had gone to big in my band size as I was finding it to ride up my back some even on the tightest hooks and my breast would be drooping by the end of the day. So I went back to reading the reviews and the responses from the company and decided to listen to the one recommendation to another customer and go down a band size and up a cup size so I ordered a 38 J which came today I put it on an hour ago and haven't take it off I'm thrilled with this bra!!! I will be ordering yet another one tonight!! Thank you Aviana for a WONDERFUL fitting bra! No doubt read the reviews and comments from the company to find a GREAT fit!

I am really having trouble finding one that fits properly, first one I ever wore a few years back was great but now not sure what problem is. First one band size too big, second one band size ok but it rolls so it is very irritating under breasts, can't adjust shoulder straps enough is part of problem. I shortened them once but that didn't work so don't know what to try now. haven't even unpacked the newest one due to all these issues. very frustrating and not sure what kind to order next.
HerRoom Response: Your size is very unusual. We suggest you get a professional fitting.
Aviana Response:
You can try shortening the straps more, but it sounds like you may need to try yet another size. To shorten the straps, move the front part of the slider over the wide part of the strap and place it anywhere you want it, then move the back side of the slider onto the wide part and tighten. You can put the slider in the front of the bra, making the straps half their original length. Your band should not be rolling, and may be a sign you need to keep searching for the exact right size for you.

I am normally a 40H but was buying this for comfort/leisure so went up to 42H. The fact that it is a soft cup bra means it does not give me quite the lift and separation I get from my underwire bras, BUT...so far this is the best soft cup I have tried. I decided to keep it and now that I have worn it a few times I really like it for those times when you just have to get out of the wire but still want to look decent. The fabric is strong, pretty and comfortable. Not as silky or soft as some, but nice enough. The strong fabric, I think, is what makes this soft cup give better results than the silkier, stretchier soft cups.
Aviana Response:
Hi Barbara. Softcup doesn't have to mean you can't get lift and separation! In fact, the underwire is not what gives you lift - it's the snug band that allows the breasts to stay as high as you want them. So when you use a 42 band, instead of 40, you are allowing the breasts to fall, and "pool" in the center front. Sounds like you love the bra, just need the right size! Please remember ladies - the bra isn't supposed to fit correctly if you are wearing the wrong size!!! C Webb - Aviana.

The bra lacks support for me and cuts oddly across the top. I was disappointed in the shape of the cup and how it fits my breasts. I'll wear this around the house when I need a break from underwires and but never outside of the house.
HerRoom Response: We notice that you are petite in height. Unfortunately, this could be the problem because your torso is shorter. We have forwarded your comment on to Aviana.
Aviana Response:
Hi Wendy, Perhaps you aren't shortening the straps enough? Try moving the slider to the front of the bra to get more lift. Also, when you say "lacks support" I'm wondering if the band fits snugly enough. This bra is also available in 32 bands and might be worth a try. C Webb - Aviana

I'm a 44K (actually, more like a 44M) and have been trying to squeeze into 44H's all these years. Anyway, I was excited to try this bra because I've loved Aviana bras in the past. It fit pretty well, although there was still some spillage because I can't find a bra in my cup size. However, it made my breasts look like torpedos. I have never seen them so pointy in my life. I put a t-shirt on over the bra just to see if it would look okay under clothes, and no way! It projects my breasts out WAY too far and makes them super pointy. I felt like Madonna. I would love to find this exact same bra in a softer, rounder cup, even if that means slightly less support. Like another reviewer said, this is definitely NOT a minimizing bra.
Tomima-not sure on this one, she says she is a 44K, but more like a 44M and then complains about spillage.........

I love the Aviana bras they are as close to not wearing one that a large busted gal can get in my opinion. This one is not the right size but since I took tags off and wore it I am stuck with it but it will do as I await two different sizes. It felt right when I put it on nice separation, stayed in place but as day wore on it rode up, so too big band size and soon no separation so cups too small. I will find the right size though. Despite all these are my favorite bras.

I thought the cups ran big. I just bought a Chantelle in 30G and an Anita in 32F and they fit me well, but this Aviana 32F was much too big.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for this feedback. We have forwarded your comment to Aviana.
Aviana Response:
We agree that European companies make slightly smaller cups. They can vary as little as a quarter cup, and as much as a full cup size from the American bra companies. It is sometimes necessary to try another size when trying to get the perfect fit in different styles and manufacturers. The jacquard on the Lunaire bra you mentioned is very similar to the jacquard on the Aviana 2353, but the Aviana rounded cup shape is very different from the more pointed Lunaire. The cotton sling is very soft, but our wide foam slings, with proper care, will continue to lift and separate even K cups for years! We appreciate your feedback and hope you'll try us again in the future. -C Webb, Aviana"

This is the most comfortable bra I have ever worn in my current size! When I first took it out of the package, my first thought was that the straps would be uncomfortable, because they didn't look as wide as other plus-size bras - however, I was very mistaken! They feel great, and neither dig nor slide. The back is very thick, which keeps the bra in place and redistributes weight off your front/shoulders so that your back and abdominal muscles are carrying a portion as well, which means less pain at the end of the day. For a soft-cup (no wires), the lift and shape are also very impressive. And even the fabric is lovely. I would note that, as other reviewers have indicated, the cup size runs 1 to 2 sizes small, so you'll want to order the next cup size up. I also wish that my size was available in the black color. I will definitely be ordering several more of these.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. Aviana now makes this bra in black in your size.

I too noticed the strange pucker at the center seam line and am glad that I wasn't the only one noticing it! I also thought that the arm adjusting was way too small until I fastened the bra and said "ahh!" This is a fantastically comfy bra but in my cup size, the weight of my breasts just ruin any good "lift" this bra could give me. Still, though, I got good definition, ie-no una-boob, and if I could get more lift, it would be perfect! I heard that Fancee Free bras give great lift for larger sizes so I will try them for the days I dress up and stay w/this for around the house (you CAN'T find a more comfy and secure bra). Would have given 5 stars if it lifted but it is still awesome! :) HerRoom Response: Thank you Heidi. We have forwarded your comments to Aviana for a response. Aviana Response: Hi Heidi - keep in mind that the straps are infinitely adjustable! This means that the slider
can be moved onto the wide part of the strap. Just move the top side of the slider over the thicker
edge, place it where you want it, then pull the strap through the bottom side of the slider. You can
put the slider in the front. This has no effect on the fit or feel of the strap - in fact - it gives the strap even
more padding. The pucker across the cup is caused by the sizing in the fabric and normally goes away
after the bra warms to body temperature, or has been washed once. C Webb, Aviana

Fabric is itchy and irritates the skin. The cups did not give the breast a natural shape. HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. We have forwarded your comments to Aviana. Aviana Response: Sounds like you may have an uncommon alergy. Since 2002, Aviana bras have been produced
without any latex to avoid the common latex alergy. Most customers find our fabrics very soft
and comfortable. Although cotton offers very little support, and even less after the first wearing
you may want to try a cotton bra or a 100% polyester sports bra. C Webb, Aviana

I found Aviana bras last year on this website, and they are the most comfortable bras I've found. The shoulder straps are comfortable and do not dig in. When I first bought an Aviana bra, I got it in a size 42, but found it to be a bit large. So this time I ordered a 40, and while it was a little snug the first few times a wore it, it is extremely comfortable now.

I normally wear a 32F or G and I've always had difficulty finding a bra that fit properly. I finally found one that did, but now that I am pregnant, I am up to a 34I and they do not make it in that size! So I decided to try the Aviana Floral Soft Cup bra. The cups fit properly, it gives support and it is comfortable, so I'm thrilled. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I would like it to hold my bust up a little higher, but if I adjust the straps any tighter, they are uncomfortable. But I guess when you get up to an I cup, you can only fight gravity so much! Other than that, I love this bra.

This bra fits me very strangely. First, the shoulder straps cut into me in the front outside edge. I'd like to take the bra to a seamstress to get the straps shortened, but I'm afraid that would make it even worse. Second, I'm bulging out the top a bit, which means I need a larger cup size - but the bottom outside of the cups is wrinkling where there's extra material. I think this bra just isn't cut to fit my body. Too bad, because it's nice-looking and seems well made. Aviana Response: Hi Elizabeth,
Please do try your actual size before you decide it doesn't fit correctly! If you are
bulging out of the cup - you aren't wearing the size you should. All breast tissue should
fit comfortably into the cup. If you bulge, and there isn't a higher cup size in your band
size, try one size higher band. This is not ideal, since the looser band will pull up in back
by the weight of the breasts pulling down in front - but it's better than the "pillow" over
the top of the cups. C Webb, Aviana

I've been using the Aviana bras for about 2yrs now. They are so much more comfortable than the underwires, while providing even better support. I work a very active physical job, and these bras allow me more free movement and comfort. I especially like the fact that the connectors are made of metal--other bras plastic connectors break so easily. I do go through about 1 bra per month, but at my size, I've found that to be the case with any bra--all bras tend to stretch out fairly quickly with my very active job.
HerRoom has been excellent at quick delivery, and if something is backordered, it is only for a short time, and they let me know quickly. Aviana Response: Hi Dee,
My advice - buy 4 bras and rotate them. 1 bra worn every day will last a month, but 4 bras rotated will last a year.
Why? Because memory fabrics need a full day to dry and return to shape. If they are worn before completely dry, or worn repeatedly between washings, the memory fabrics stretch and never return to shape. Try it! C Webb, Aviana

The bras were lovely but the fit was awful. They were supposed to be 32 around and were so big around that I could not fasten. I like this bra, my only suggestion would be for the straps to be more adjustable. I would have given it five stars. I have the correct cup size however; I need a little more lift. The straps would be able to provide this if they would adjust further. I'll keep searching for a comfortable bra for larger bust! Aviana Response: Hi Hopeful!
All Aviana straps are made to be infinitely adjustable. All you do is pull the first hole in the slider over the wide part of the strap and place it where you want it. Then pull the strap down through the second hole and it stays there - even through washing! The strap is then half the length of the fully outstretched size! Hope this helps! I'll give the bra a star for the straps and another star for having my size. Needs a little more work in the support category. I've just recently found this bra in my size. For some reason the hooks or something in the back is a little irritating. I will probable add some padding under the hooks. Why is there only one support bra in my size? Aviana Response: Hi Cheryl,
I'm glad you like our straps and our sizing. Our full support bra works great if the band size is snug enough. So many customers make the mistake of wearing a band that is too loose. In order for the foam sling inside the 2353 to work correctly, your abdomen has to do some of the work - otherwise your shoulders take all the weight. As an I cup, you know how heavy that can be! I suggest trying a band size smaller and a cup or two larger. You may find this bra works better for you in that size. Keep in mind that we manufacturers have historically done a poor job of keeping our sizing standardized over the years. You may have to try a few sizes to find the one that works for you. And also keep in mind, women's bodies change in size as often as daily. You may need a few different sizes in your drawer to accomodate even small fluctuations. This is an attractive bra that gives decent support, but I agree with some of the other comments that the seam across the center has an odd way of puckering, so it may not be the best bra to wear under a T-shirt of anything thin. I ordered this bra in a 34G and a 34H. The H hits me too high under the arms and rubs uncomfortably, so I plan to return it. The cups on the G are a little small for me, I think, but it's very comfortable and I plan to keep it. I'm also very pleased with my HerRoom experience -- a large selection and great people that are ready and willing to help.

I have only bought these bras since 2000 and I love them. But since I have had to go up in cup size, I don't really care for the fact that the side is practically in my armpit.
I also wish that they would come in another colour other than candlelight. Woman with bigger breasts shouldn't just have to settle with one colour as compared to the many different colours you could get if you were a 'A' to 'D' cup. Aviana Response: Hi Robin,
I work at Aviana - I wear a 40K - and I AGREE! Enough with the candlelight!!! We are currently working on a new bra and you will find it on www.Herroom.com early next year. It will be a beautiful blush color, and it will have gorgeous embroidery. the item has wonderful support... I was concerned going to a smaller band width (across the back) and seems to be holding up well with not stretching out (had item approx two weeks and wear it every day).
my only "complaint" is the cup sizes seem to run a little on the small side. if you're a borderline cup or wear two different cup sizes as I do, be sure to order the *larger* of the two cups or you'll have a spillage effect.
overall though, very happy and would buy it again, just the next cup up.

This item does not have the same support as my 2350 Aviana Bra. Aviana Response: Hi Lu,
The 2350 was sporting some heavy duty latex rubber inside the cup, rather than foam. It is very harsh on the delicate underside of the breast and was causing problems with yeast for customers. We do not use any type of rubber in our bras yet they have ample support in cup sizes all the way to K. C Webb, Director of Sales & Marketing, Aviana

The overall fit it self is okay. The fabric is nice. But support is lacking. The back of the bra is a silky knit, and lets face it the girls need a little more support than a fabric better suited for underware. I do like this bra. I was a little disappointed that even though I followed the measuring instructions to the letter the bra still tended to have a very slight pucker in the cups. I probably should have gone with a smaller cup size. I know this is a full coverage bra but the cups tend to come up to the very top of my underarm. I thought the straps would have no elastic but there is elastic on the las half of the straps in the back. I like the wide, five hook back. My breasts don't bounce or move around and that is nice but I wish it was a little more supportive as my breasts are still not halfway between my shoulder and elbow as I am told this is where they should be.. Again, this may be taken care of if the bra was maybe one cup size smaller. The bra is comfortable and I would probably buy more of this brand. Just be aware that that it is possible the cup size may run slightly large.

This is a very comfortable bra. My under-bust measurement is 40 and across the bust is 53. Her Room recommended a 42J, but the band was way too loose, even on the tightest hooks. I also tried a 40J and a 40K, but they were also too loose. The 38J fits well on the first set of hooks, but will probably stretch out in time. Then I'll be able to go to the tighter hooks. I didn't notice much difference in the fit of the 38J and the 38K. I wish my size came in black.

This bra was awful! It offered absolutely no support. I'll be going back to my underwire, Thanks... Aviana Response: Hi Kim,
We have K cup women who believe it's the most supportive bra they've ever worn. Perhaps you needed a smaller band size? Underwires don't actually provide support - they provide shape. Support comes from the band fitting snugly and the straps staying in place. Aviana bras all have straps set closer in the back to keep them from falling off the shoulder. I have a big front and a small back and finding a well fitting bra is difficult. In an underwire I wear a 32G. In Aviana 2353 I need to go up to an H. However, this is a comfortable bra and gives a reasonably nice shape. (On me, the front bow area tends to poof out and of course there is seaming.)

This bra is great, very supportive, good coverage. Seamed bras have seam lines(hmm strange concept)I don't see this as a problem as a seamed bra equals a better fit, better support especially for full busts. And as this is a wireless bra WOW. This as an every day bra is great. I agree this bra band is a little more stretchy than others. Had to use the tightest fitting from the start. Will definitely order again but will be 36j next.

The cup is full and soft for a good fit without spillage. It is very comfortable, which is not common in bras this size. I find the 5 hooks in this size wonderful and stops ride up. The bra is very pretty and comfortable for the most part. However, there was a sewing error where the strap was not put thru the O ring correctly. I will correct this myself. There is to much elastic in the band. I had to put this brand new bra in the 2nd hook because there is to much give in the band. I have to adjust the bra down several times a day. This was not necessary on another style (same size band and cup) that I purchased at the same time. At the price for these bra's, I will be needing new bra's much sooner then I should. HerRoom Response: We appreciate your feedback and have forwarded your comments to Aviana, Aviana Response: Aviana Response: Thank you for your feedback. It's true that the Aviana 2353 runs a little larger in the band than similar competitive bras. It is also made of a much softer yet very supportive material, making it a more comfortable all-day fit. I highly recommend trying a smaller band size (choose 1 band size smaller and 1 cup size larger). We regret any sewing defect in the strap. These defects are rare, and replaced immediately when we are notified. Concerning the elastic in the band, all Aviana bras have infinite adjustability and rigid straps. This means you can move the slider onto the wide part of the strap and it will stay there permanently - even through the wash process. It should not move during the day. Our garments are made very carefully with the highest quality fabrics. When hand washed and line dried, left hanging dry for 24 hours between wearings, not exposed to unusual wear, and worn no more than 3 times per week, these bras should last at least a year. We have reports of the bras lasting more than 5 years.

And there's plenty of coverage, so the "lovelies" can't escape and create those extra bumps that are so unattractive. Separates, too, so I no longer have a "uniboob".

It's a nice full-coverage bra for large busted women. However, like another review noted, the stitching across the cups are too obvious. The bra does give good support, though, and it's nice to wear when I'm exercising.

This is the best bra I have ever owned, I can't wear an underwire. I have been wearing them since 1999, I will never buy another kind of bra again. And now that they actually come in my size 38J I am soooo happy!

Beautiful bra: comfortable and pretty jacquard fabric, no-stretch straps, metal o-ring and adjuster (a must for the heavy breasted) and high side frames that protect from "spill over." My two disappointments were the stitching across the cups, too obvious through every top, draws the eye to the bust; and be warned, this bra is not a minimizer (and does not advertise as one). I felt well supported but larger than usual. HerRoom Response: It's a simple fact that the more seams in a bra's cups, the greater the support. With larger cup sizes there is a trade-off between support and seamless cups. One solution to hide cup seams is to wear a camisole over your bra.

I have been a big fan of the Aviana bra 2353 for several years now. I can not wear a underwire and found this bra to be the most comfortable. The main problem I have had with them is the plastic o ring and the plastic slide to adjust the straps have broke several times. I just bought a new one at a store nearby and it has metal now and that is wonderful. HerRoom Response: Since early 2004, this Aviana bra style has been made with only metal rings.

I am in my 30's. Being that my bra size is a 42h, it was hard to find a bra that fit properly and that didn't look like an older ladies bra. I have bought bras in the past from just about every maker. The store I buy my bras at notified me that they would be having a represantative from Aviana offering free fittings. My mother and I went. Since then(3 years ago)we have only purchased Aviana bras. We are totaly satisfied with any purchase we have made with Aviana. I have never had a bra before, that has held their shape like these do. I am so glad I found Aviana.
