After trying about 100 kinds of bras, this is the only one that works for me. But the fact that it's not made of cotton and does not have padding made me sew an inner layer from cotton with padding (since I get eczema from anything else)

Great medium impact soft cup, extremely comfortable and doesn't feel restricting during movement. Does allow a little bounce so not the best for high impact activities. Band is on the snug side compared to others I've tried of the same size.

Lighter than the sports bras I usually prefer, so I get a little bit of up-and-down movement in it, but not to the point of jiggling. Perfect multipurpose bra, as it has a very smooth contour and is comfortable enough to wear under clothing.
HerRoom Response: You are correct that this is only a medium impact sports bra. It also has limited strap adjustability. It is noted you are also petite in height. We are glad you feel you have enough support for your activities given this strap limitation.

Perfect sports bra for medium impact (I use these for cycling). If you wear a heart rate monitor while exercising, the band on this bra comes low enough to keep the monitor snugly in place. The band does fit quite a bit tighter than I am used to for a 32, but it not too tight to be uncomfortable. I can see why some people might want to size up in the band. Shoulder straps are incredibly comfortable.

My favourite bra. I am a long distance runner and this bra keeps everything in place. I also do Zumba and play racquet sports. It is very supportive. Easy to care for. I often have to wash after each wear due to heavy sweating. I hang to dry and it is stays in great shape. I have four of them and wear them for everyday as well as exercise. No underwire - very comfie. Well worth the money.

No coverage, instant show through. Fabric super thin, stretchy and the outline of every detail was evident. Very little support. Every jiggle was so obvious I was embarrassed alone in my bedroom when I tried this on. I am a 32DDD or 32E, and the size seemed perfect fit. If this had a little more coverage as to not show every solitary outline and detail and enough support for my low impact workout, I'd have been thrilled.
On the good side, the color was nice, vibrant, bright, and the fabric was very soft and breathable. I liked how comfortable the band was.

All my "going out" bras tend to be armoured tanks that offer great shape & support but I do not feel like wearing them at home. This bra is JUST PERFECT for yoga & home wear. It has moderate (not perky) support & is very flexible for yoga & low impact workouts. I am so happy I found it (after trying & returning a number of bras that felt like tight harnesses)!
I am a 30G in Chantelle & Panache. I bought a size 32F in this bra & it is very comfortable with no spillage. It is not padded which I am so thankful for as I sweat a bit when I workout.

I ordered up a size because sports bras are usually so uncomfortably tight. Well, this one is still uncomfortably tight, and is much deeper from top to bottom than the photo shows. There is no side support at all in spite of the side panels almost cutting off circulation in my arm pit. I tried letting the straps out, but the only result was puckering in the cup, and the straps still cut into my shoulders. The microfiber fabric holds in heat. Why can't someone make a comfortable, wide-strapped, breathable, double-fabric, shelf/sports bra?

This bra has a lot of support for its weight. It really is barely there. But it has the same problem most 40A bras have in that it expects the breasts to be much closer to the middle than they are on me. Each nipple is at least an inch away from where the center of support actually is. This results in pressure on the sides of my breasts that isn't noticeable at first but becomes achy after a few hours.

I love Anita! This bra was the only one out of 4 that I kept. The straps are wide and comfortable, the cup shape is natural, and overall it is true to size and comfortable. I ordered a cup size smaller than usual based on reviews, but think that my usual size would be fine. I'll keep the smaller cup size for times when I need extra support, and order more in my usual size. This bra is very comfortable, but only moderate motion control. Great comfortable wire-free bra. Doesn't give that uniboob look for me. Runs small in the band; I normally wear a 34 but the 36 fit well in this style. I don't play sports so I don't know if it would be supportive enough or not for an athlete.

Word can not explain how awesome this bra is. I have been on a quest to have a number of good bras, and due to my size ( I am thin w/ large very very full breasts), I have struggled and have to buy over the internet. I also do not want ANY metal in my bras. Well this bra is so comfortable, such wide straps that my shoulders are singing on how soft and yummy all the weight is distributed on my shoulders. I had found Anita's 5457 a couple months ago, and was very happy, but this bra is even better. I want 5 of them! and will buy more. I have a new rule....I only buy Anita....they are the best I have found and all the others have been far less comfortable and thus, I am done with the rest. Buy this bra....oh, forgot to mention, I did not buy this bra to work out, or to bounce (but it holds things in place wonderfully)....I buy all my bras for every day support and comfort. I want great everyday support, period...and this is it.

I ended up having to return this item because it just didn't keep the girls in place. It's definitely not enough support for dance aerobics, lots of jumping, etc. But, it's a really nice and comfortable bra in all other respects and I would definitely recommend buying it to wear just under your clothes day-to-day.
This isn't a nursing bra, but I wore this style when I was breastfeeding b/c I had jumped up a size and needed something that did a better job of supporting the girls better than the cheaper nursing bras I was wearing.
So overall, meant for lower to medium impact workouts but amazingly comfortable as a normal bra.
Anita Response:
Thank you, for your feedback on this style. Yes, it is for medium impact only. We suggest trying Anita Momentum Sports Bra 5529 for the higher impact workout. This style would be great for you.

Even though this bra is listed as a sports bra, I am wearing it every day. It has the magic combination so difficult to find: the comfort of a sports bra with the support of a "regular" bra. I'm so happy with this - I have been miserable with underwire, but wirefree bras are a joke. Not so this bra! Truly wear it all day without suffering at all. I used to come home from work and rip off that bra first thing! Now I am amazed to realize at bedtime that I've had this bra on for 14 hours. Honestly, this bra is MORE comfortable than my sports bras! Can't recommend it enough; I hope it is never discontinued. It does fit a tad bit higher in front than most bras, so if your top/dress is lower cut in front, it might show a bit. The cup is nice thin stretchy material, which makes for a great fit.

This is by far my most favorite bra. I have tried so many different types and brands of bras and this one in particular is my most comfortable and supportive bra ever. Having very large and heavy breasts, it is basically a nightmare for me trying to find a bra that holds me up, yet doesn't hurt me at the same time. This bra fits the bill and I hope the makers continue to make it for years to come. I have tried wired bras and have never had any success because the wire always causes me pain digging in to my body. This particular bra is supportive and it makes me look natural and not like I have a uni-boob like some other styles do. Love this bra, just wish it was a bit cheaper, but I will continue to pay whatever it costs for the comfort and support.

Love the bra. I use it as an every day bra. Only issue I have is that it runs small. I normally wear a 42DD and I do not have to put it on the first hooks. This bra I did. I would have liked this bra one size up for more comfort. Also this bra is expense.

Finally!! It is soooo difficult to find a bra in size 44B in the first place; it is always assumed that if you're a 44 around, you must have large breasts. But there are plenty of us 44B women out there, so thank you to Anita for servicing this demographic. As far as this specific bra, it's is EVERYTHING I've ever been looking for. The straps are perfectly shaped and placed for comfort; the underband is wide and not too thick; the sides are high and avoid spillage; and the cups fit a size B woman perfectly with no spillage out of the top. The front of the bra is a little high and sometimes shows depending on the shirt, so I wish it came in more fashion colors than just black white & nude. But otherwise, no complaints. I'll be ordering one in each color.

Flattens you right down except for nipples, which are prominent. Really is no separation. Extremely comfortable especially in the shoulder area.Wish there was some concealment for nipples.

Comfortable and fits well. Not sure how long the underband will stay in shape. Time will tell. I would re-order if necessary.

The underband is also made of microfiber and shall stay in shape very long and lasts. We do have very good experiences with this bra

This bra is the ONLY bra that fits me properly and is comfortable too. Having very large breasts is a nightmare for me when it comes to finding a bra that both fits and is comfortable. I love that it's wireless, has comfortable shoulder straps and it doesn't bother me while I wear it. I have tried so many brands and styles over the years and this has been the only brand and style that works for my very full breasts. Thank god for Anita bras.

I have been looking hard for a sports bra that is easy to get on and comfortable for Pilates and the working out. This bra is great. It is extremely easy to get on with 3 rows of hooks in the back. has great, comfortable adjustable straps and gives just enough support without felling constricted.

I like the extra padding on the straps. The band on the bottom is comfortable and does not dig. The bra had good support and holds you in place when exercising. I had a problem finding a bra that was a 44 B most of the 44s out there are in D or DD. I was a bit shocked at the price, but I think it was a good investment.

I instantly loved the fit of this bra & did not cut into my shoulders. Like others, this bra gives moderate support & the band under the cup is not wide which would be expected on a larger cup size. sports bra. However, the bra gave me enough support for my walks & "jogs" w/ the dog and was comfortable. As a 34 DDD/E, I did use the middle hooks for a better fit & support which I have never done w/ a new bra.

I have searched for years for a padded sports bra which would not ride up on small breasted women. The description and picture of this bra seemed like it would finally be the one. It arrived with thin fabric, no lining constructed just like bras half the price.
Anita Response:
Style 5521 is not a padded bra. The description on the website
indicates a "flat preformed cup" and "free of padding", but probably the
customer misunderstood molded which doesn't mean padded but preformed.

This bra is super comfy and it actually feels like it is giving me support at the same time. Having very large and full breasts, it has been a nightmare for me over the years trying to find a bra that first of all fits, and secondly, actually holds me up somewhat well. I have ordered so many different bras over the years, and so far for me, Anita sports bras seem to be the best for what I am looking for. I have tried unsuccessfully to wear wire bras, but they are more like torture devices, and finding a wire free bra that actually supports me is a huge feat. I am planning on ordering a few more of this particular style because it is the best and most comfortable so far.

LOVE love this sports bra! Better than i ever thought it would be! I do not like to wear underwire while working out-- if i dont have to! I have worn Natori, DKNY, VS, and a few others. some feel like a straight jacket. This fits super tight and smooth and keeps me completely in place and best of all, super comfy. I like Anita bras anyways, so i am not surprised that they make a great sports bra too.

Love the comfort of this bra! I have a small ribcage and large breasts that are heavy and need LIFTING - this bra does that. The wide straps are very comfortable. I wear this bra for yoga and walking, but wear a firmer sport bra for running and Jazzercise. Not a lot of separation, but hugs you enough with good distribution. I don't 'rate' bras often, but thought I'd share my thoughts on this one. Sizing was perfect (but I had tried on this bra in a store locally, and then found it at HerRoom at a MUCH better price)! it's so comfortable that I had to stop and think if I was actually wearing it right now as I went to begin the review....offers great support (haven't tried anything too strenuous yet)...but done some fast walking and playing/running with my young children. looks just fine under basic tees for running errands and such (but I'm no "have to look AMAZING when I'm just running around town every reg. day), but i don't expect a comfortable sports bra to lift, seperate, etc. like a regular bra does....no digging on shoulder straps, no rolling on band, very comfortable material, no itching, all around I'd definitely buy again. (My guess is that it's not enough support for things like horseback riding, running marathons, etc....but i wasn't looking for that). Very happy with this bra!

This is my absolute favorite sports bra! I was surprised that it was listed as a medium-impact bra, because I wear it running and for other super-high impact activities (like boot camp, where you do lots of jumping jacks) and it's wonderful. Maybe it depends on your bust size and larger sizes truly can't wear it for those activities. Anyway, I love it because there is no wire, it's lightweight and comfortable, and comes in a great nude color so I can wear it under lighter fabrics with no show-through. I work out five days a week and wear this bra for most workout activites, including running, weight training and yoga. I like that it doesn't create a back bulge, so I can wear it under yoga tanks and still have a smooth look. My only complaint is that it is quite compressive, so I probably lose a couple of inches on my bust size when I wear it. That doesn't matter for running, but not so attractive for yoga class. It also comes up quite high on the chest in the front, and may show over the top of lower-cute workout tops. But for the support and light weight, I still love it!

I have to say I am puzzled by the comment that this is not a good fit for a petite woman, because it works well for me. I'm not only short, but super short between the shoulders and the waist and have tons of trouble with bra fitting generally. This one I find very comfortable for hiking and golf -- i.e. not high impact activities, but ones where I perspire and need some comfortable motion. I am really a 30 and had to skip the first set of hooks, but that's life. I don't know what makes this work fine for me but not other petites.

This is a very comfortable, fairly supportive sports bra. There's not much choice in my size, but I'm very happy with this bra; it fits really well, and doesn't get clammy when I'm sweating. (And I don't get the uniboob that other people have talked about in their reviews; I wonder if they have the right bra size? But if you need to jump or bounce, look for something with more structure to it.

I am very hard to fit and have never had a bra that fits properly. This bra is very close. The only problem for me is that the straps are a bit too short causing the band to sit in the wrong place and not allowing me to adjust it any further. I kept it though because it has great fabric and is otherwise very comfortable because it has no wires. I will use it when I'm exercising.

This sports bra was pretty thin, I figured it would be a little thicker and more supportive. I tried it on and that was the end of it. However a smaller size may have helped but I decided against it since I prefer a thicker sports bra. Would likely be a good choice for someone who's smaller busted than I.

Love this bra - have several in various sizes as I have shrunk after nursing. Great for low impact especially yoga and ice skating. The bottom band does fold up sometimes, but it's very comfortable and give a great shape (unlike the uniboob most sports bras give large cups.) Stays dry and cool, no chafing, etc.

This is my second time buying this bra (the first purchased from a local retailer for $15 more!). It's my everyday bra (I wear a cheapo Champion sport bra when riding my bike.) It's SO comfortable and holds up well. I am fairly small so don't get too squashed like other people have said here. In the summer I still need a smaller bra to wear with summer tops that have thin straps, but other than that I love this one!

I was happily surprised that a bra with no underwire could give such excellent support. Although they are expensive, the fit is wonderful.

Have been in search of the perfect bra forever, this is one of the very few that has worked for me. Has great support and I don't feel like ripping it off after an hour or two. Has great support that doesn't stretch out, doesn't bind or irritate my skin. Not 100% perfect, but better than most. Lightweight, quick drying, breathable.

After a double mastectomy and reconstruction, I found this to be the most comfortable bra I have tried on. It holds me comfortably and provides excellent support for mild activity.

I love this bra as far as support, however I do find it does form the "uni-boob".

Not at all supportive. Not at all flattering. Very uni-boob look. This bra comes in my size, but seems to be made for girls with less breast tissue. I tried it on twice, thinking I needed to adjust it, but no it is not for me. I will return it.

This bra is comfortable, breathable and supportive. I wore it horseback riding in 100 degree Texas heat! It was great! I never noticed I had it on and I didn't have to fuss with straps, cutting into my ribs, or itchy corners. I loved it.

This is not a medium impact sports bra. I was very disappointed after waiting 3 wks to receive it.

Great support for running and I love the smooth, natural, seamless look under my T-shirts! This may become my everyday bra.

Fit was good and true to size, but didn't think it was that supportive. I definitely wouldn't wear this running or other high impact activities. I didn't find that I could tighten the straps enough to keep things from bouncing. You are only able to tighten the straps a small bit compared to other bras. I will wear it golfing/walking etc.

Nice no-wire bra to get a break from underwires around the ribs. This is a very comfortable bra, but is not supportive enough for my work or for exercise. I'm a 36F and like to sleep in a bra so this one is good for that. If you are on the larger end of the cup size, you might spill out the top. If you are at the smaller or average end of the cup range, you'll probably be okay. The straps are very comfortable. The center piece will not lie against your sternum, so you will feel your breasts touching. If you need a lot of support, stick with an underwire, like the Wacoal if you are a large cup (D or larger.) If you want the best ever no bounce high impact sports bra, go with the Enell--ugly and corset-like, somewhat uncomfortable, but absolutely effective.

Unfortunately, this bra is not for me. The shoulder straps did not adjust tight enough, and the bra cup was a bit too big under the arms. The look and feel of the bra was great, however.

Very comfortable bra and the cups are true to size. I only use this bra to do weight lifting of body toning since there is not enough support for me to do higher impact workouts.

I really liked this bra but for one thing. The nylon mesh reinforcing fabric on the band just under the cups is like sand paper on my skin. Finding a bra without this material is next to impossible. Really too bad, as everything else about the bra is great and just what I was looking for. The straps were especially comfortable. Nice shape and enough support. If you're not bothered by nylon mesh try this bra.

Like many of the other reviewers of this workout bra, I find it hard to find a good workout bra that supports me while working out. This bra is very comfortable and supportive. I like the fact that the fabric doesn't feel all clammy when it gets wet (like some cotton-type workout bras that I've worn). It sits very nicely against my skin with no bulges or wrinkles of material. Granted, there's no padding so when you're cold, people may notice. I purchased two--a white one and a black one. I'm not sure how well they'll hold up (I've only worn them a couple of times each), but I'm very satisfied with them and will most likely purchase some more in the future.

Most comfortable sports bra I have ever worn. I really like the fact that its supportive yet I still have shape without feeling that my breasts are totally squished.

Extremely comfortable bra. This is one of the best bras I have ever owned in my life. I bought it for a sports bra (running, hiking and yoga) and it performs well. But it's so comfortable, I started wearing it as a regular bra (surprisingly for me it provided good shape and also worked for T-shirts). You can even sleep in it. I will be buying more to stock up. The fit was perfect.

This bra is so comfortable you could sleep in it!
Great to find size 32 in a larger cup. For the ladies with uniboob, perhaps a larger cup size would help.

While working out, the band in the front rides up,so I'm always pulling it down. This Bra works well as an everyday Bra,though. HerRoom Response: Sounds like you need a smaller band size.

I think this bra is ok for support, I have large breasts so it takes a lot to "support" them, I also had the uni-boob thing, but I will wear it, it is comfortable, not sure I will buy another one though.

Band was very tight and my breasts were pushed together so that I felt like I had a "uni-boob". It provided good support for exercise, because I felt like I was encased.
