This is the most comfortable bra that I have found over the years, and I love that it doesn't have any padding, etc. to make me look larger. Sharon from ridgefield ct

I have been looking for a great fitting bra that would be uplifting without wires. After taking the quiz and measuring as directed, Her Room recommended this bra. I ordered one and was incredibly pleased with the fit and the comfort. After wearing it for a week, I ordered another. I couldn't be more pleased with this bra and with the services provided by this company. Colleen from LEWISVILLE

This is a very comfortable, and surprisingly, supportive bra. I had to cut all of the tags out because they were very scratchy. Now it is my first choice bra. That may change as we get into summer, however. Unfortunately, this bra is not lined. While is as supportive as my underwire bras, the lack of a lining gives a bit too much “detail” for my taste. This bra is added to my "must have" list which is WAY too short! Love this bra and will be ordering more soon. I have tried dozens of bras in the last year and spent thousands doing it. This bra is comfortable, does not ride up, does not irritate shoulder scars or nipples (all extremely sensitive) - I can wear it all day in comfort! And for a wireless bra I did not have bounce issues. Suzanne from Little Rock, AR

Great Fit, super comfy all around. Wish the hooks were not medal but otherwise , I’ve searched high and low for a good bra and This is the winner for now. Could be less costly. I believe they’d sell a lot more if they didn’t cost so much. Sandra from Cleveland, Ohio USA

I bought my usual size, but the cups were cut too low in front and I was spilling out of the sides. It was very comfortable but not nearly supportive enough. It's sad that there are so few wireless bras in my size. Most wireless bras start at 36 and I'm a 34.

Anita Response: If you were spilling out on the sides we suggest going up a cup. Barb from Canton, Ohio, USA

This bra is really amazing. I need a lot of support and am tired of bras that support but are actually painful. Very comfortable bra. The only thing is that it seems to be more of a sports bra than an every day bra. Dona from Sparks NV

This is a very pretty and soft bra. It felt nice, but not enough coverage or support for my dense breasts.

Anita Response: If you're not feeling enough support we suggest going up a band size and keeping your same cup if don't have enough coverage. Consider trying a 38B for your perfect fit. Miranda from 48329

This is an extremely comfortable bra - like a second skin. I use it as a sleeping bra only. I am really a 28 band size, so it is a bit big around my ribcage. I have to wear it on the tightest hook setting and will have to take up the band (by hand sewing) as it stretches. I did this with the previous one I owned that lasted for over 2 years. I wish Anita would make this in a smaller band size -- even a 30 would help! B

This seems like it would be such a nice bra. However, the cup in the 48A is too big for me. I wish it came in a smaller cup. I just got a breast reduction down from a DD. My new breasts are not that small. I have looked everywhere for a 48 bra that is small enough in the cup. Kathleen from California

Disappointing! The band size was fine but the cup size was ridiculously small: in PrimaDonna I wear a 38DD, but in this bra I must be an F or something. Also, the colors are OFF. I am very fair so ordered, per details, the Champagne. It is basically a white bra, not even close to skin tone!

Anita Response: All brands are sized differently. We suggest checking out HerRoom's Bra Fitting Center. We also suggest trying the color Desert if the Champagne is too light for you. duxinco from Colorado

Bra is comfortable but has a little too much stretch for me. When I move around I find I need to adjust the cups a bit because I begin to fall out of it just a little so there is a little "bulge" around the top of the cups. I wanted this bra to be THE ONE. I am a 34F, and have been wearing underwires since I was 16. Was it really possible to get support from a wire-free? The cups fit well, and the band was fine, other than being a bit uncomfortable because it was so narrow. The problem came when I began to move. Uniboob! This is a comfortable bra but it would be nice if the band were more substantial. It rolls and pinches sometimes. But the rest of it is very comfortable. I will keep looking for a bra that has a wider, stronger band on it.

The bra looked nice and appeared to be the right size and was pleasing to the touch. However, although 32" was the correct size of the band, while wearing it, my bust bulged out of the top. My prev. bras are 32C and even a less coverage cup does not cause those upper bulges. Even under very conservative tops, these bulges appear to be an extra set of smaller female anatomy perched atop a normal one. I don't understand, because I am not large busted. I used to wear a B cup and wanted fuller coverage for V neck tops, so I increased the cup size to C. I ordered 3 different styles of bras in 32C, one at $69 and two others less expensive. They all fit similarly and were equally pleasing to the eye (when not wearing it) as to what I was hoping for. They just don't cover all my bust. Once again, I would say that I am between a B & C cup so a C should cover all of me. In addition, it is comfortable to wear the band at the tightest closure, so I am def. a 32/ So, I am still wearing my much older bras that are aging and need to be replaced. I like pretty bras and have always had them. Recently I ordered a Genie bra, not yet arrived. I don't think it is pretty but I am hoping for a natural look from the outside. Thank you for providing a place for me to explain this problem. I hope you can help with an understanding of this problem. As I said, I have some B cups that don't give me bulges on the top of the cups, but they are wearing out. I have entered the style and the # of these prev. worn bras but they are no longer avail. Another issue: A 34C cup fits well, but the band is too large. I would think according to your measurement info., that a 32C should fit band wise and it does, and the cup should be the same C size. But the cup on a 32C is smaller than the cup on a 34C. THAT IS THE MAIN PROBLEM. Why do you make the C cup smaller on the 32 than the 34C?

Anita Response: The consumer indicates that her breast is bulging out, which is an indication that the cup is too small. A woman’s body is changing for a lot of reasons like hormonal changes etc., so it’s not uncommon, that the cup size can change with the time. While wearing your bras, they adjust a little bit to your body changes, which is probably the reason why her old bras still fit, but all three new bra styles are too small. She is indicating that the cup of a 34C bra fits her well. According to international sizing studies, the cup volume also increases with the band size, so the cup volume of a 34C is close to a 32D. I would recommend to try a 32D. Fayth from Nashville. Tn. USA

The cup size is too small for me and I haven't had the time to deal with returning it - so I've been wearing the bra anyway - with the dreaded boobs spilling out over the top issue. I don't know if the size up would be better or too big. I had another one with the next size up cup size and it was too big, but the band size was also a size bigger. Besides from the cup size, the band size is good, the straps are comfortable, it feels good and supportive with the straps shortened quite a bit. It is quite supportive for no underwire. It doesn't give a lot of coverage - so can't wear with anything sheer or tight. I used to always wear underwires and they stopped being comfortable for me, so I'm trying to find a substitute with no underwire that is still supportive. Sara from Easthampton, MA

This item presents as a firm cup bra in reality it is soft fabric and you can see through the t shirt. The reason I bought this expensive bra was for the smooth look. Now this expensive bra will sit in the drawer and I will never wear it.

Anita Response: The customer doesn't really explain the firm cup, but I would assume that she expected a padded bra . #5493 is one of our bestselling bras and our customers like it because it's a soft fabric but still gives a lot of support. If the customer is looking for a t-shirt bra we would recommend a padded bra #5440. Joan from Canada

Have previously bought in size 34 but it didn't come in a big enough cup size. Ordered 36C and 36D. Kept the D, returned the C. Very comfortable bra! Wish it had a little bit more modesty-type padding but still like it and will order it again. JB from Canada

This bra is so comfortable that you forget you are wearing one. The material is soft, yet holds you in all the right places. I like everything about it. The comfort, the smooth cup, the straps that do not fall off your shoulders. What more can I say, a beautiful and comfortable bra. I will purchase more in the future. Karen from Neenah, Wisconsin

Unfortunately, I had to return this because I got the wrong size and doesn't come in the size I need, but except for the band being too tight, I loved this bra. The cups were great, good shape, fit like a glove, perfect! I'm sorry it doesn't come in 50c, which is what I really need. Mary from Antelope, CA, USA

This is the very best bra I have owned in decades of searching for the perfect bra. When I first tried it, I thought the fitter was crazy as the band was very tight. The cups were smooth but very molding. After I bought it and wore it a few times, it loosened up a bit at a time and became the most comfortable, supportive bra on the market in my size! The unique Anita stretch fabrics are unlike anything by US bra manufacturers. It is smooth, silky and the stretch cups hold/mold in a comfortable yet very supportive way. The only downside is that after a lot of wear and washing, it becomes slightly less supportive , not loose , it just does not give the same wonderful lift. Still, after daily wearing and machine(delicate cycle) laundering for over a year and a half, this is not unexpected, even for an expensive bra. I have bought many of these bras, as I cycle them through, they last longer than my original( constantly worn )"test bra". Lisa from California

Really support and gives a good shape. The straps padded and the whole bra is very soft. I am very sensitive, so maybe it's just me, but there is a piece of material between the breasts that rubs a bit. Maybe I just need to get used to it. Samara from Canada

These bras are so comfortable - a little hard to find so I was thrilled to receive them so quickly - If you want comfort and support without the wire this is the bra - Not too much elastic on the part that touches my body - no seams or stitching that itches - all day comfort - my older ones have stretched out a little - but over the past few years I have purchased at least a dozen of these bras - just got 3 new ones and will retire 3 and order 3 more soon. I love, love, love this bra! It fits like your skin and feels so good, you hardly know it's on! I was fitted at Sal-Liz's after a breast reduction and fell in love with this bra over the others because of the feel of it! I bought 3 that day and was so pleased to discover "HerRoom" on line, so I could purchase from home, when needed. I ordered 3 more from here and the service is fantastic! Thank you! As a mastectomy patient it has literally taken me years to find a bra that both fits and is comfortable. I first had a TRAM flap done for reconstruction but finally had to do the breast augmentation. This bra is an exceptional find as augmented breasts are not as free moving as the natural breast. I have recently moved from Chicago to Ohio and was glad to find you online after being fitted in a specialty shop in Chicago. The price is a little high but considering the number of other bras that I've bought in the past that didn't fit well at all this is a reasonable price. I have just ordered three more which will make a total of 8 bras over the last 4 years. Arla from Medina, Ohio

Anita Classic bra was comfortable and cup fit well. However found the straps to be wide and three hook back closure/underarm bands too wide for petite frame. Good quality and comfort just not the bra for a true petite frame. Have reordered another Anita bra. Nancy from Tennessee

Mixed review. I'm giving 4 stars because it is comfortable. Felt supportive for first month until it stretched; now I feel a bit saggy in it, as someone else posted. But it isn't meant to be a highly structured bra. For that, I will turn to the styles with seamed cups like the anita safina...

I was surprised that someone else found the band tight, because I found the bra so stretchy I had to size down in the band. I wear a 36-38 band normally and I went down to a 34 in this (granted, I did need an extender at first but I won't for long at the rate this fabric is stretching).

I also think you should take comments about the bra straps being short vs. long with a grain of salt. I am average height, and they were long for me (already adjusted as tight as they go). That may be why I'm feeling less support in it since it stretched. My torso is shortest above the waist. So that all depends on how you're proportioned.

Agree with others who said they should make 3 hooks in all sizes. Anita offers the wider back band (3 vs. 2 hooks) in cup E and above regardless of band size. I tried on the 36D and it didn't feel like it was keeping things in place at all for that reason. I wish they would change that and offer the wider band above a C cup or just across the board. Very comfortable, and for me the support is very good. The cups conform nicely, and the look is very smooth under a t-shirt. I have two of these. The band is designed to be snug (but should not be hard to close) which offers nice support and ultimately more comfort because there's no rubbing and shifting. Matilda from Ohio, USA

Although I already had a fitting at Nordstrom's and had been told I was a 36, this bra was very tight around the chest and would not close comfortably. I do have a bra in 36F that is made in France that is comfortable. In general I'm finding that most American designed bras, are not true enough to size and do not fit. Barbara from Medford, OR

I really love this bra. It provides surprisingly good lift for no underwire and the comfort cannot be beat. I plan to wear this bra as a weekend, travel, and sleep bra primarily but I could see enjoying it this summer, too, all the time. The reason it does not get a five star rating is that I feel the straps are slightly wider on the D cup than seems necessary and there are only two columns of hooks. I think the description says three. So, I wish it were possible to adjust the bra slightly more around the band as it may perhaps stretch out...but overall I'd recommend this bra--I am really happy with it. Kimberly from

One of the most comfortable aspects is only 2 hooks in the back, which means a narrow band in the back and under the cup. This style really works great for me. I barely notice having a bra on! The only negative is the straps only can be adjusted a few inches. Carol from Bowling Green KY
