Sanctuary began in Los Angeles, USA, started by Ken and Deb Palanco, a husband and wife team with more than twenty years of experience. Their expertise began with master pants tailoring and branched into more diverse offerings. Sanctuary's swimwear collections incorporate the effortless, laid-back attitude of Southern California, with a dash of adventuresome world influences to supply women with style 24/7. 

Sanctuary swimwear is produced under the umbrella of the Amerex Group, an Asian export company that began in 1932. Today, they have licensed and proprietary brands that include Kate Spade, Bleu Rod Beattie and Jessica Simpson. 

This fabulous new swimwear brand is proud of their dedication to sustainability, as most of the swim styles are made of 85% recycled polyester from post manufacturing waste, with 15% spandex. The knit itself has a soft, buttery touch, and most styles are digitally printed to help prevent water pollution. Therefore less water is used and less fabric yardage is also required. In addition to Sanctuary's more eco-friendly approach to producing swimwear, there is also a future mission of honoring more inclusive size ranges.
