This garment does hold you in but it did nothing for my love handles. I use to weigh alot more than I do now but weight I lost in my mid section has cause a hanging effect on my tummy area & I'm top heavy. A apple shape I believe. The garment firmness is higher up so it won't do nothing for the lower tummy or sides I say at the pantyline area. Laura from Huntsville/Alabama/USA

I love this item thus far. It fit nice and I was not uncomfortable. I did not have any weird bodges. I gave it 4 out 5 stars because the print on the front can be seen through light fabrics, rather than being smooth. If the pattern was not there I would definitely rate it 5/5 stars. The only complaint I had was that it seemed to run a little large. When I initially ordered I was concerned because my measurements were a little above the size that I ordered. When I opened the item I immediately noticed it seemed rather large. After trying it on it still did shape my body considerably but I will just size down next time. Camille from Covington

I ordered a 8x it's a little big on me but does the job of smoothing my stomach and back area out. I usally wear a 2x. If you wear a 2x I'd go with a size 6x or 7x. It's very comfortable also. Jen from 33073
