Better than Silicone inserts for swimwear, in my opinion. I got a few of these for my swimsuits and a pair of silicone inserts, and I must say that these are better. Why? Unless your swimsuit bra has underwire and serious support, silicone will weigh you down and make your breasts look more saggy. These, in contrast are lightweight and supportive. Plus, you can sew these in, and you can't really do that with the silicone ones. This was the single-BEST purchase I've made in the bathing suit dept... It is EXACTLY what I needed for a little "oomph" in the tops of all my bikini's. If you need a little lift and shaping, then these are for you! I bought 2 pairs and because most bathing suits already have that useless liner in them already, all I did was take that out and insert these into the area already made to insert padding. Love them!! These worked pretty well (though they're a bit stiff) in one of my bathing suits, which has a true triangular-shaped top, but they do not work in my other bathings suits for which I think I need a more circular or oval shape. This is a great shape if you need a fuller look (if sagging is an issue), it probably adds a 1/2 cup size. It is light weight and much cooler to wear in the summer, when the silicone inserts make me sweat. So I'm a 34AA and absolutely love this enhancer for my bathing suit tops. It lifts and actually creates some cleavage! the best thing it that it looks natural and fits into my triangle cups perfectly. they're also really good quality because they've lasted me a really long time (i've used them in hot tubs and at the beach). I am very pleased with this product. After searching many other types and brands I decided on swim shapers because of the price (much lower compared to the others).
