I give it 2 stars because this was a beautiful item. Unfortunately, that was all I liked about it. The fit was awkward. It buckled in the cups under my breasts and was lose at the hips, even with the back hooked a far as it would go. I felt like if I lifted my arms over my head I was going to fall out. There was no feeling of support. I bought this to wear under my strapless wedding dress and it is in the mail on the way back a we speak.

I am very tall (6' 1/2") so the length of this bustier was great for me. I can wear either a 34C or a 36B and this 36B fit very well up top, although it gave (very) slight spillage over the upper sides. Not the bra's fault, I am 52 and my tissue has lost its firmness. What did not work for me so well was the fit at the bottom. It gathered in the lower back and also was a bit loose in the front at the very bottom. It might be better for someone woth more flare to the hips. My measurements are: above bust 33", bust 36", below bust 30", waist 30" hips 38". Over all it is comfortable, pretty, true to size, and comfortable to sit in. I would definitely recommend trying it. The Carnival 386 front closing one worked better for me. Peg

This fit perfectly! I wear a 36DD bra but ordered two sizes and returned one. So it runs a little large since I kept the 34DD but fits great! Susan

Beautiful bra, however, the fit was way off. I even took the time to measure before I ordered, but it was still about 2-3 sizes too small and wouldn't clasp, and the cup size was too big. I ordered the size I always wear in bras and measured myself to be.

Va Bien Response: Often times firm control bustiers, especially those with rigid satin paneling, call for a size up in the band and down in the cup. This most applies to pear shaped bodies. Ashley from Texas

I ordered this bustier for my daughter's upcoming wedding to go with my dress which is essentially strapless (just thin spaghetti straps). The dress is columnar and I wanted a smooth line. And I wanted to look as good as possible for the pictures. I was hesitant to buy online as I've never even tried on a bustier before. But I used the provided manufacturer's size chart and measured according to the directions on HerRoom's site. I'm absolutely delighted with the way this bra fits, feels and makes me look. The long line smooths and accents not just my waist, but my whole back and hip area, too. The underwire and cups are perfectly placed and lift and hold just right. The bra is well made and really beautiful. I would wear it every day if I could put it on by myself! I look and feel fantastic in it, and it makes my dress fall perfectly over my body. Can't wait for the previously dreaded pics! And HerRoom's service was so incredible! The item arrived in less time than anticipated and it was wrapped in pretty lilac tissue. I normally wear a 36D in bras and I purchased both the 38C and the 36D to try. The 36D was very snug, which I guess might translate into lots of compression, but it was borderline uncomfortable. Since it's my wedding and I want to enjoy myself, I opted for the 38C. It's a beautiful garment, and I'm excited to wear it! ACW from Massachusetts

I LOVE THIS BRA!!! I got it to go under my spaghetti strap "mother of the bride" dress. It fits true to size, and I love the beauty, comfort and firm control. It is longer than many bustiers I tried, but not too long, and the length provides even better figure enhancement and control. LOVE the smooth lines it provides under my dress. This is a very comfortable fit which holds the girls very well! The only problem I had was that it showed a tiny bit out of the top of my wedding dress, so I had to order another style. This bustier was pretty and comfortable, but was a little too long in the torso for my petite, short-waisted frame. Moreover, it didn't offer as much support for my large bust as I was hoping. I also didn't like where the low back hit on my back. I returned it since it didn't work for me.

Vabien Response: Petites will do better with a long line strapless bra such as Vabien 506. The back cannot be too low or the front will flip forward with larger bust sizes (for bustiers). Strapless bras are wrapped around high, so a good strapless with enough support in the cups such as Vabien 1506 can run very high in size. It works great! Emily from USA
