I loved the item but the back was cut too low. My back fat just spilled out all over the place. Would have been perfect if the back were cut straight across or even higher to smooth out back fat.

I love this bodyshaper. I bought the same one 15 years ago and wore it out so I had to replace it with a new one. It is very well made. This bodyshaper does everything a women needs it to do to make you feel awesome in a slim fitting outfit. It really pulls you in everywhere, especially the thighs and waist. I have a small pouch but this bodyshaper makes it look flat, which I love. I really wish they made this item in DDD's. I actually wear a DDD but have to get the DD's and wear a DDD bra underneath (a small inconvenience for a great fit this bodyshaper gives me). But I will buy it again in a heartbeat. The bra cups seem larger than the stated size, and there is an odd cloth "rim" around the cup. As other reviewers have stated, the cups are also pointy. The garment is otherwise quite comfortable and does a nice (but not extreme) job of smoothing out the bulges.

Vabien Response: This style does not have underwire cups, which poses a design challenge to lift and shape the bust in a full figure garment. That cotton ring around the cup that you noticed is a sling to help achieve this. Cups without underwires will never provide the same bust shaping and support as underwire cups – but some women prefer them because of the extra comfort. t from oklahoma

The garment would have been perfect if the hook & eye closure in the crotch extended down the legs. If you wear panties with a Poise pad for incontinence, you would have to take the garment completely off. They need to make the snaps down the leg area as well.

I love the design of it when I wore to check if it fit me perfectly. Yes, It did fit me perfectly. I wanted to go with 32DD but they carried 34D so I had no option rather then to select 34D but I don't' regret for it. Asma from bolingbrook

I bought this to wear under two knit dresses that I am wearing to a wedding event. I would have preferred an underwire but the cups on the bra are quite supportive. The garment did exactly what I wanted, smoothed me out without that bulging over where the garment ends. Both dresses look really great with this supportive garment underneath. I love the fit and support! I needed a firm control undergarment for a low back dress for a recent Wedding reception. I tried numerous strapless low back longline bras and firm control girdles. Could not get the fit and comfort I needed until I tried on this Va Bien Long-leg Body Suit. Now my dress fit perfect, my breasts were firm and well supported. My tummy and butt were slimmed down and I looked and felt great! I was able to dance and stand all evening in Heels and my back and legs never hurt. The main reason I wear a bodysuit is to give my lower back much needed support. The Va Bien 1292 is a beautifully made garment. I tried it in two sizes. The 36C is too tight across the ab portion but too loose on top;it is also too long for me.(The 34 D ,my usual size, just squeezed my sore back too much.) Connie from Venice,Florida, USA

This item did not work under the ivory dress I'd purchased it for. The cups are bumpy under clothing because of the seam across the bust and the lace's texture. Also, the cups created an unflattering silhouette, i.e. pointy like a 1940s pinup girl. One other issue: I'm petite and this resulted in a wrinkle at my waist of about two inches of extra elastic fabric.

I'd originally chosen this item because it was one of the few firm control shapers with a low scoop back, which was great. Also, the wide straps felt great too. Finally, the firm tummy support was nice.

I ended up with a similar shaper by another manufacturer that had molded cups and a shorter body. Rachel from Brooklyn, NY

Very comfortable/soft however the 'bra' portion had no pre formed shape to it so if you have size B Breast or smaller it may not give you the top half figure you're hoping for. d from VA
