The tanga is a popular European style that is a cross between a thong and a bikini. Although these type of panties usually have more rear coverage than a thong, some brands have created a style with the front and side design of a tanga, but with the exposed rear of a thong.
A tanga thong may have embellished sides, like a ruffle or pretty lace panels. The rise may be the same a a bikini, sitting low on the hip, or the tanga thong may have a slightly higher mid-rise. The rear will feature the main characteristic of a thong--a small fabric panel in a fee shape that tapers to a very narrow strip at the crotch. Tanga thongs are a playful and flirty variation on the typical thong. |
