Well I wore this item on my cruise under a full length dress, It was comfortable but I was very disappointed how this garment worked its way up when sitting and walking. I felt very uncomfortable throughout my evening as I was constantly trying to pull it down. I wouldn't order this garment if I knew this would happen, I should of ordered the one that you would wear with pants. I would return this item because not because it felt uncomfortable on, but for the fact it didn't work the way it was supposed to fit. I would recommend the other style for dress, or skirt or pants. For the amount of money I spent on this garment , was more than the dress I wore. I would order other items from this company if it would be worn the way they said it would be. I am wearing this undergarment under my wedding dress. It feels great on and is long enough to stop it from crawling up my legs and the top works a bit like a minimizer. Depending on how much jumping your doing the top can fall down so plan for that if not wear the straps. I really like this Spanx. Looking for comfort
