I really like the look/feel of this girdle. My only complain is that the boning, which working wonders on my shap, stick out awkwardly on the sides a bit after I've worn it for a while. That, and despite not being very tall (I'm 5'2") the girdle still didn't manage to stay put on top so I got the dreaded extra roll. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing about this one particular girdle and not all girdles ever, but it's a problem I feel was unavoidable with the product (as in, going up a size wouldn't have helped me maintain good shaping AND removed this problem.) I'd still definitely recommend it though - I wear it as an outfit when I go to certain gothic-themed events at local bars and I feel (and look) amazing the whole night (as long as I pull it up frequently when dancing.) This item fit well and reduced the size of my waist 4 inches and my hips 1 inch. My waist went from 45 inches to 41 and hips from 49 to 48. The top of it left me with my original measurement, so not odd bump or pushed up back fat was created. It will really firm me up for my wedding dress! It does look like it would be difficult to take off to go to the restroom. I guess I could just pull it to the side. Sara from Maryland

This fits me well, is easy to get into and out of, and is fairly comfortable to wear. It doesn't make me a supermodel but it gives me a little more confidence under dressy dresses by making me feel a little firmer and more pulled together. Suzanne from Michigan

Extremely well made and very firm. Difficult to pull up past large hips (mine are 12" bigger than my waist) as the waist will only stretch so much. I returned and will reorder either the lacette open bottom body briefer style 9357 which I'm told is a bit stretchier or go up a size. judy from Denver
