I thought the fit was pretty much spot on. I'm a 38C in my normal bra size and this fit my cup size pretty perfect. I'm not giving it a full 5 stars because the rib cage area was alittle loose but If I went down a size but up a cup size I think it would of been too small in the rib cage and too big in the cup size. These things are tricky. Its hard to buy online. But I have to say I love the zipper in front so much morer than the back hook and eye nightmare. It's always trial and error when buying online, no fault of the company just my body type! NcBek from NC

I originally ordered the 36C as that is typically my size. I found this item to run a bit big, so I returned it for a smaller size, a 34C. While it was still a tiny bit too big, I didn't order any smaller out of concern it would be too small. Honey from Oakland/California/USA

I am extremely happy with this purchase. Because I am very tall (6' 1/2") and have a low back on my dress, I tried different bustiers to see which would be best. (See my reviews on Carnival 313 and Va Biens 6363 and 523 as well.) I can wear a 36B or 34C and this 34C is perfect in every way for me. My measurements are above bust 33", bust 36", below bust 30", waist 30" hips 38. Measure carefully and go by their size charts as there is NO room for adjustment on this zipper front closure - but it's sure easy to get on by yourself :). If you are very short, it might be a bit long for you... when I sit in it, there is not a lot more room for the boning. Maybe a couple inches, but I've got a pretty long torso, so do keep in mind this is one of the longer bustiers. Which is great for me, as I do have a bit of a wheat belly to keep in line, and this covers my tummy and soft hip flesh (I'm over 50 so not so firm anymore) very very nicely. I love this garment. I am going to keep it even though I am not certain it will be low enough at the back for my dress but even if not, I'll find other times to wear it. If the back is low enough for my dress and I end up using it for my wedding in July, I'll submit an update for comfort/performance factor for a 12 hour shift. Peg

Standing up the fit was perfect, but when I sat down it just didn't work out. I'm 5'2" and short waisted so when I sat down it pushed the garment up and bunched.

I am torn on this because I wanted it to fit better than it did. I am normally a 40/42D, so I ordered the biggest size, 40D. It was snug, flattering and I loved the zipper closure. But the cups fit weird. I wasnt exactly spilling over the top but they seemed too shallow. When I tried on the bridesmaid dress it almost looked as if I was fairly flat chested. I think maybe a 42D would have fit well but its not offered. So my quest for the perfect corset continues.

I loved that I could get into this all by myself! Unfortunately, the size I got was too large for me to be able to keep it. I had ordered 38D and 40C, per the many comments here about sizing. The 40C was WAY too big. The 38D was only slightly too big, but for my wedding day I wanted a perfect fit. Due to the popularity of this item, the next size down was backordered, so I had to choose a different bra in order to get it in time. Mel from MN

Front zip makes it easy to get on. Very slimming. The cups are slightly big, but putting pads in fixes that. Not as pretty as one might hope for wedding-day underwear, but it gets the job done. J from DC area
