I am 5'4, 168 lb., short waisted. Recently had my 5th baby and my tummy is prominent. Have tried many other similar garments. This model is very pretty in beige. I ordered a 2x because I was between waist measurements -- it fit perfect - maybe a hair large but comfy and no bulge at the top. Boning keeps it from rolling. This is not a shape changing garment, but is very smoothing. I would say it fits very true to the size chart. I ordered 2 more in the xl. Thank you! I like to dress in vintage clothing, which was designed for women wearing girdles. I read an article about how the actresses and female extras on Mad Men all wore Rago girdles and I decided to try them. It was much more comfortable than I had ever anticipated and yet it still gives you a pleasant vintage "girdled" feel and an absolutely superb smooth look. I wear these with everything now. The shaper runs small and I am returning it.

Outstanding firm hold in all areas but the product "legs" portion are to short and cause the girdle to ride up on one leg or both. Go up a size. The girdle makes you appear smooth and flawless. Wash by hand or in cold cycle in machine and hang dry or else the silicone around the leg openings will wear more quickly.
