I've been wearing this girdle for several years. It provides better hold than any other I've found. I was disappointed on receipt of my last order to discover that Rago has made the girdle 1 inch longer. I can no longer pull it up until it's smooth on my 5'4" body. WOW! Little hard to get on, but once I did it made me look like I lost 5 pounds around my tummy flatter and thinner. My wife has always been a large/fuller figured woman, but lately she has gained significant weight. Her waist is now 49 and her hips 59. I think she looks very good with the additional weight (I actually prefer it) but nonetheless she did not like the way she looked. She talked about getting liposuction and even having her stomach stapled. I hated the thought of her doing these things to her beautiful body. I did some internet research and one of the sites I found suggested a Rago high waisted panty girdle. She and I talked about her trying it and she reluctantly agreed. She ordered a size or two smaller than what they suggested and let me tell you, man oh man does she look great. It gives her the perfect amount of shaping. Obviously, my wife is still a big woman even wearing her panty girdle but it really moves her weight around to the right places, giving her a perfect hour glass figure. She wears her Rago panty girdles 24/7 and says they are very comfortable to wear, although she does say that they are difficult to get in and out of. Having watched her put them on, I would agree. But once on, it is amazing how they shape her. Thanks Rago and her room. I can buy a lot of panty girdles with the money I saved by not paying for lipo. I really did like this. After reading many reviews, I decided to try it. Since I was between sizes, I opted for the bigger size, listening to many people's advice about it often being too small for them. I ordered a 4x. But when it came and I tried it on, it was a little too big for me after all, so I ended up ordering a size 3x. That fits much snugger. I will hold on to both sizes for when I gain, lose weight. It does not really make me look like I lost weight (I'm not any skinnier when I put it on), but it does give me a much smoother look. I did not like the metal garter hooks, but that was easily taken care of as I could slip them off. It is hard to pull it up in the back to meet the bra line without help, therefore sometimes I muffin roll at the top a bit. It's not really too hard to get on. I think it is comfortable. I must say this is the most delightful girdle i have ever purchased. It really serves its purpose. when you put this girdle on you can literally see all of the unwanted rolls get away like when Moses parted the red see with his staff. And this girdle is strong but yet gentle. And if properly taken care of it will last you for years to come. And I would also like to add that I have been wearing rago girdles for year and I love them all. I like the super control but apparently I am too short waisted because the top rolls down and is uncomfortable. Also the leg holes are uncomfortable, I would have preferred a mid-thigh version but those styles did not come in my size. Too hard to get on and off for all day wear i.e. not for bathroom. I truly love the discreet packaging it came in. However I should have ordered a different size, this doesnt go up as shown in the photo, Ill use it for now and order something else. Wow this thing is tight (literally). It is actually quite hard to get on, however, this could be due to the fact that I was in between sizes and chose the smaller. I really needed something that would completely flatten my stomach area and boy does this one work. I first tried it on on a day where I was extremely bloated and it made me very nearly flat as a board. I wasn't sure if I would like the boning but it shaped me in a lovely way on the sides and narrowed the smallest part of my waist and gave me a nice hour glass shape. My only cons about this garment are the extremely small leg openings (and my thighs aren't even that big) and the fact that there is no opening in the crotch. Because this thing is so darn hard to get on, I'm not sure I will be able to wear it without adding snaps at the bottom so I don't have to take it off every time I need the restroom. I was looking for something a little cuter than plain shapewear to go under my wedding gown, and wanted something a more "Mad Men". This fits perfectly and makes my waist look great. I do wish the boning either stopped a little earlier or went down farther (for a short torso-ed girl, the boning ends in the middle of my waist rather than just below the ribcage and creates a bit of a low cupcake/muffin top) I also wish it had a hook/eye or snap closure in the crotch and/or a zipper to make removal easier. I like how it fits but wish when things like this get to the plus sizes they'd make them an inch or 2 longer and wider between the legs part but other then that I love its not horrid to where for long hrs but still have to get used to it and also love how it makes my tummy flatter and gives me curves in ALL the right places so just with that minor glitch I ll still give it 5 stars nice job when I can I'll get more christina, green bay wisconsin united states, Age: 20's September, 2011, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 8X
