I am wearing a Monique Lhuillier gown on my wedding day and this was the one the store suggested that I purchase. The bustier itself works well with my dress, but it does run big. In addition to cup size, they should have measurements for the waist area. The waist area has 2" of extra material for thinner females. I would not recommend this product.

It is very pretty, but is very body specific. I had to return it because there was no way I was going to be able to get the both the top and bottom portions to fit for my body. M, NY, Age: 20's April, 2011, Average Height (5'4"-5'8") Size: 40C

Very pretty! The lace is beautiful. The torso length is perfect, it goes over just enough tummy to prevent under bra bulge. I am tall, but very short waisted, so I worried it might be too long, but in fact it is perfect. The boning is supportive but does not dig when sitting down. The cups are a bit large, but because this is for my wedding I am adding in a little bit extra, so they are perfect. I would not recommend it for the heavy chested though. I followed the advice of other women who had ordered this item and ordered a cup size down, but the cup still didn't fit correctly. Also, the cups gave no support or shape. The lace was pretty but the cups left something to be desired.

Carnival Response:When wearing this or any corset you should put the corset on fully and then bend over while pulling the cups forward. Once you straighten your body up, your breasts will fill the cup entirely from the top down and you will not have the illusion or feeling of cups leaning forward. The body fit alright, I wouldn't say it was flattering but comfortable enough. The cups were very disappointing. I am normally a full B and I ordered a size down in the cup as suggested but it just did not fit right! The cups seemed like they were coming forward at an angle and not holding me in or giving any kind of support whatsoever. I felt like I would fall out of it at any moment. Exchanged for a Va Bien and couldn't be happier.

I purchased this item to wear under a close-fitting wedding dress. For my purposes, it works very well. It gives shape and control to my bust, under an already snug bodice. It does not add bulk or cleavage, which is what I was looking for. However, it also does not provide support on its own. The front and back will both fit under a moderately low cut strapless dress. The garment does offer some control for the waistline and is much lighter weight than other control garments I've used. I ordered my usual band size and went down a cup size. The cups are the right size, but they fell forward giving me a "prow of a ship" look because of the low back. Overall, good for some applications. Also a very pretty garment.
