Not enough support for me. Even with a lining, be aware that this bra feels very see-through (to me, at least). Susan from Rhode Island

This bra is gorgeous and the material of the bra is very comfortable. Fits like a glove but does not pinch and I love the way it looks, my tops now fit much better. Carol from Los Angeles, CA

Cup size fits perfectly. All my bras are 36's and this one is much too big around. Should have ordered a 34 I guess. Terri from Massachusetts

Great shape and every day support. Would prefer it in size 32GG, which unfortunately it's not made in, and some more colours. LR

Had a good fit after trying on item. Did well to uplift my breasts, but at the same time not to give me that look where I look like I have two mountains on my chest. This is important for me as a very top heavy women. M from Baltimore County, Md

This bra seemed to run small in the band compared to other bras of mine. Pat

I love Wacoal bras and have purchased them for several years. They last for years and fit me well with adequate coverage and support. Although I really do not need a minimizer or under wire, the fit of Wacoal bras is perfect for me.... so comfortable and looks great under all clothing! The fit of the Visual Effects bra is perfect, and even wears well under light shirts and blouses. Another great style and fits true to size! Susan from Slidell, LA, USA

Fit as expected. Doesn't really minimize, it shapes as every other Wacoal bra. The seam along the band where the underwire is rough against the skin. I've not had this issue with any other Wacoal bra. I'm hoping it softens over time. Christine

It is a nice bra. I used the instructions on measuring but the band is a bit snug and the cups have overflow. At the top. So the fit is not what I had hoped for. Perhaps I'm atypical when it comes to size. I'm quite full breasted and the left a tad larger. Wish I knew what so I should have ordered. Nanci from Oklahoma City, OK

This minimizer looked awful under turtlenecks - totally flattened out breasts! Minimizers should still give one's breasts a flattering shape as well as reducing the look of size only. Barbara from Santa Barbara

When selecting a bra for the day I have a lot to choose from. This is now the only bra I want to wear. It provides great support and shape and yet it is so comfortable it feels like I have nothing on. I do wear dimrs with it since it does not prevent show through. I believe it runs true to size as I usually wear a 32D in Wacoal and a 32E in Chantelle, and I wear a 32D in this bra. AG from Dallas

This bra is a perfect fit and very aesthetically pleasing, but it has one seemingly minor problem that is shared by many bra makers. The edge stitching on the band in the back is very rough and scratchy in the middle of my back. Because of the wonderful fit, I am trying to devise a little fabric tube I can slip over the band that I can adjust after I clasp it that protects my back. Joy

I purchased these bras for my 18 year old daughter. She says that these bras have the best fit and are the most comfortable bras she has ever owned! She now owns 3 and we intend to continue buying this particular brand and style! Colleen from Bel Air, MD

This bra fit great for my petite frame, but I wish it did more of a job minimizing! I didn't feel like it really minimized much at all Renee from USA

This bra was true to size but I didn't like how high it came up between the breasts. It looks prettier on the model than it did on me. It has no padding, just the mesh, which didn't provide enough nipple 'modesty' for me. Had to return. Elizabeth from Pennsylvania

Love this bra. I have implants, but they are about 20 years old, so they need some support. This gives me a fantastic young shape. I look very lifted and sporty, and it eliminated the matronly look my large breasts were giving me. It's looks pretty, too- feminine and low-profile. Summer from Florida

This is a nice bra! It has kicked in straps that stay in place on my narrow shoulders. I like the amount of coverage. This fit in 32DD, and I also fit the Wacoal Halo Convertible bra (851205) in a 32DDD. Each bra style fits differently. Love full coverage bras with stretch lace...so comfortable! Would highly recommend!! Stephanie from Oregon

It was uncomfortable. The underwire put a lot of pressure on my rib cage and I prefer bras that do not come up so high in the front.

Wacoal Response: Hi April, we are so sorry to hear this was uncomfortable for you. Although these styles come up equally as high in the front you might try something with a hidden underwire like Sports Underwire Bra 855170, or Elegance Hidden Wire Minimizer Bra 85122. These styles have engineered fabrications to soften the feeling of underwire by encasing the wire in fabric so it doesn't touch your skin. For a more paired down underwire bra try these styles with a lower center gore Fragile Drama Mesh Underwire Bra with Embroidery 855250 or So Sophisticated Two Part Cup Underwire Bra 851287. April

Love this bra! It fits nicely, is smooth, doesn't hurt under my arms (I am short waisted), and I love the power fabric on the sides/back. It stays down and doesn't roll up at all. So many other bras roll up (I am not a skinny thing). Try it, I bet you will like it. Linda from Chicago suburbs, IL

Decent shape and okay fit Usually a D but wear a C in the Retro Chic so went with a C on this one. Straps a tad bouncy for a minimizer and wire tends to curl a bit. Stick with the Retrochic Caryn from United States
