Excellent fit and support, but the bottom band is irritating my skin. This bra has a feature I always look for: cups with bonded upper edges. They show much less under knit tees. Unfortunate about the band fabric.

Really wanted this bra to work, but the side V hit is a really bad place. The straps were too skinny, especially for a 34DDD. It just fit weird.

Terrible fit for me. Inaccurate sizing. I am a 30C, which I ordered initially. WAY too tight. I then ordered the 32C. Still too tight. Plus, despite its claims, this bra did nothing in terms of smoothing sides. Both were returned.
HerRoom Response:We would be happy to help you with sizing. This is a terrific bra. Moving from a 30C to a 32C also took you up a cup size.

This looks good. I didn't realize it is a pre-formed bra. That creates a storage problem for me, so I'm glad I only got one. It is a little tight and is not all that comfortableunder the elastic sides, but it is not that bad.

This bra is very pretty but it does not have the support that I was looking for. With a bigger bust, I need more support so this bra does not give all the support I need. The straps are thinner and the cups just are not big enough. It is comfortable material but just needs more support.

the fabric for the back was very scratchy. I wore it a couple times to make sure it wasn't a first time wearing issue. The fit was ok for the band, but the cups were stiff and a little too large.
Wacoal Response: You might consider sizing down in the cup, but make sure to size up one band as well.

A good fit but the straps on this bra slip off my shoulders all the time, which is impressive because I have wide shoulders. Even if I tighten down the straps to the point of leaving red marks they still slip down four or five times during the day. The lower elastic band also flips up and twist inside the larger mesh band, needing a lot of adjustment and it never stays flat for long.
HerRoom Response: If your straps keep falling down, you may be in the wrong bra size. Try sizing down one band and up one cup size to see if this helps the slipping. Wacoal also suggests checking out Wacoal Awareness Full Figure Seamless Underwire Bra 85567 which has the comfort straps and are kicked in in the back.

This bra is fine if you don't move. But bend over, and everything gets moved around, and you get "spillage" over the top, which will be seen if you're wearing a t-shirt. That's why it's so frustrating to purchase bras online. But stores don't typically carry the right size for me.
Wacoal Response: This bra has a firm large cup capacity so you might benefit from sizing down in the cup which would hold your tissue in better if you bend over.

I wear a 32G in other styles of Wacoal. I found this style to run much smaller in both the band and the cups. I felt like I was spilling over the cups and constantly had to readjust. The band was too tight and the really rubbed under the arms. The side smoothing didn't really do much--flesh just spilled over the top.
Wacoal Response: You might be wearing the wrong size as this bra historically runs large in the cup. We suggest checking out the Bra Fitting Center to find your perfect size in this bra.

This bra did nothing to hide my fatty armpit. I thought the coverage was skimpy and the sides were cut far too low to be useful. I would not recommend this bra to anyone needing side or lower armpit coverage.
Wacoal Response: For a softer band with silkier textured fabric and lighter weight cups, try 853192. The band is silky and wide for smoothing and the cups are made of an ultra lightweight and breathable spacer foam.

I love it! No bulging by the arm pit or under the shoulders. Perfect fit! I ride horses so I needed something full coverage and gives enough support without the bunching or straps digging in or falling down. Horrible bra. Cuts into skin and the fabric is scratchy. Cups are more padded than expected and fit poorly.
Wacoal Response: The sidewings of this bra are meant to fit softly on the body as opposed to a traditional structured band that can create bulges. The soft nature of the fabric means you may have to manually smooth out and manipulate the fabric to get it to lay flat. More than containing tissue this band is meant to feel softer on the body. You should try style 853192 with it’s wide smooth back for more containment of the back and side’s.

I was curious to see how this compared to the side/back-smoothing greatness that is the "Amazing Assets" style also from Wacoal. The sides of the Ultimate Side Smoother are cool, but they do not smooth as well as the Amazing Assets, and I also experience a lot of bounce with this style despite the large and seemingly substantive cups. Sticking with the AA for now!

I so wanted to love this bra. I found it very comfortable with a nice fit along sides and back but it did not center or separate which is my preferred fit. Instead it pulls your breasts together and for me that is too much cleavage. I am also full on top and the top of the cup cut in just a bit.

HATE bra shopping, and tried on at least 15 before choosing this one. Not sure I think the side support really does much "extra", but the overall support for a big chest is excellent. NO riding up in back, no spillage up front or under the arms, stays put, VERY comfy, and can wear under anything!

I had great hope for the back smoothing and fit, but it is the most uncomfortable bra I've owned. The mesh side all wad up and cut into my skin and it does not accomplish any back smoothing. Wacoal should rethink the fabric for this bra. Very pricey too!
Wacoal Response: If the band is bunching the size may need to be changed on this style. If it lays flat that would help to smooth the back. Our bras are hand sewn and wear tested with the highest quality fabrication. We are sorry this style did not meet your needs but we have an extensive line that women rely on each day. If your sizing is correct you might want to try Basic Beauty Spacer 853192 that offers a wider band that smooths the back, and the price point is less of an investment.

Bummer--another one for my donation box. Couldn't be more disappointed in a Wacoal bra. The new-fangled side design is acceptable, but I had red marks on the fronts of both arms after a day in this bra because the cups/straps were so wide set in front. The cup fit seemed okay standing up tall with my arms straight down and shoulders back, but a day's worth of sitting and normal movements had me fighting the forearm irritation, slipping straps, and the top of the cups standing out more than an inch from the tops of my breasts--definitely not for my shallow-shaped breasts. In the meantime, I have discovered Wacoal's Halo Lace Contour Spacer bra to be ideal for my breast shape and so perfectly comfortable.
Wacoal Response: Ultimate Side Smoother is a fuller figure style. There is more structure and fabric to this style. The fact that you are petite would suggest this style may not be best for you as it could be overwhelming on your body type. Halo Lace Contour is the better option as it is more of an average fit style. You might also like Embrace Lace Contour 853191 or Amazing Assets 853220 smoothing T Shirt bra.

Sides were way too flimsy to give support.
Wacoal Response: This solution piece designed specifically to smooth underarm bulging and lie flat and smooth on the back. To create this overall seamless look under clothing the fit is softer. For more support, try another smoothing style with a wider band like 853192 Basic Beauty Spacer Contour. This has generous cups made with lightweight spacer foam and a wide seamless band with center pull straps.

overall this bra material was comfortable. However, the straps were too thin for a large chested woman. The side panels were not supportive if that is what you needed. I suggest ordering one cup size bigger and one band size smaller. Band was very big. It also moved my breasts to the sides too much.
Wacoal Response: Thank you for the feedback, this style was designed for the woman in mind who wants a smooth back without bulging and not a rigid feeling band. Everything about this style is soft, soft, soft and especially noticeable if you are used to a stronger fitting bra. Pillow foam cups surrounded by dual layers of heat sealed power mesh all designed to lay flat and form to the body giving a second skin appearance and feel without bulging. If you like a stronger fit with wider straps and more cup capacity I would suggest Basic Beauty Contour Spacer Bra 853192. This style has breathable spacer foam cups with an inner side sling to bring side tissue in and forward along with a wide comfort back that smooths. Also the taller center and sides really give you that strong support and containment. Wider, center pull straps will not dig and feel comfortable and supportive.
