I only buy Wacoal bras. For the last several years this has been my "go to" bra for everything. It minimizes, is supportive but comfortable. I have tried other brands but they are not the same quality. These bras are worth the $$. Sdd from Richmond,VA

Love this bra, have worn for years.... but desperately wish they’d still make it in black... why don’t they????!

HerRoom Response: This is an older style for Wacoal and they are slowly discontinuing colors and sizes. Their suggestion it to move to their 857109. BL from NYC

This is a beautiful bra -- excellent minimizer that gives an attractive shape. I had to give it 3 stars because for me, the fabric and straps were a bit scratchy. But for others, it could be a 5. Wacoal in general is excellent.

HerRoom Response: Sometimes after the first wash, you begin to see some of the initial scratchiness go away. We suggest checking out our Lingerie Care page for tips on washing your lingerie. Terrie from Seattle

This is my favourite bra for over 4 years now. When you first get it, it can be a bit pointy, but the unlined cups shape themselves to your breasts over time. The bra is well-made, minimizes and provides support. It is a basic-looking bra. Sylwia from Canada

The band is very tight, the underwire is pushing against me, and the wire pokes me at the side. But otherwise it has a very good fit. It rly does minimize you. Just not true to size. Lori from Brooklyn

It is so comfortable, keeps me supported, and lasts a long time. It is also typically not visible under shirts. And for those of us with larger busts, it does the job of minimizing them, which I fully appreciate! I'm very picky about bras and love this one. Submitted from TheUndies.com

Want to give my favorite Slimline Minimizer a 5 star rating, but the under-wiring in both of the right cups in the last pair I had ordered started to poke out so it would be sticking out from the middle of my chest under my sweater.. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! Obviously at a 40D, I'm never going to be smaller, but this minimizer actually does make you look smaller, I've had several folks comment on it. The only thing that would improve it for me would be longer straps, otherwise amazing! I now have 2 of them. theresa from Pulaski, TN

Really wanted this to be The bra. I was swayed by the reviews, but the bra has extra room on top demanding a fullness that I do not possess (post-children), despite it's being the correct size. Consequently, there are creased folds in the upper portion of each cup that ruin the seamless look I wanted. Additionally, after wearing it for a couple of weeks I noticed the wire on one side is hurting me (near the underarm) and I have never had this complaint with other bras. Sadly, the brand is not right for me. Robin from Westchester

I don't quite know if this minimizes, because I've been wearing a minimizer bra for the last seven months. I had another bra from Wacoal, and the under wire just recently poked through and was stabbing me. We could not get it back in and I ended up pulling out the wires and using it to sleep in. I just got this bra in the mail a few days ago, and the only problem I'm having is that the seams seem to come up too high on my armpits (because I have to tighten the straps quite a bit) so it's little uncomfortable. I'm thinking I will get used to it though, as my first Wacoal bra did the same thing. I read this bra minimizes up to one cup size, so I was hoping it would really work. I paid enough for it. It is much prettier than the other bra I had, so I do like that. Didn't want to pay as much as I did, but it had the best reviews, and I wanted a good supportive bra that really minimizes. I think that's what I got too. Jane Ash from New England

This bra seemed to push my breasts together, uncomfortable.

I purchased four of these bras several years ago and was delighted. However, I was disappointed in the changes that have been made in the bra, Th sides that were so comfortable and supportive are skimpier. I really prefer the bra before the changes. As they were pretty pricey in the first place, why reduce the quality?

Wacoal Response: Wacoal has not purposely changed the quality of the bra. The same attention to detail and finishing has not changed. Sometimes we have to buy materials or fabrics from different people. This should not change the quality of the garment. We will bring this to Wacoal's attention and try to prevent this in the future. This bra has good support and is attractive but it is too thin for me to wear under t-shirts and other clingy garments. So I am returning it. I continue my quest for a minimizer with a modesty feature. No one seems to make one.

Wacoal Response: I understand your problem. Wacoal is looking to produce a minimizer with a contour cup which would solve your problem. It will probably be out in the Spring of 2013. Martha from New York

I have ordered Wacoal bras before and really loved them. I ordered 3 different ones and was a little disappointed in the quality of them. I kept this bra because it fit well and was supportive and I felt it was the best quality overall of the ones I tried. It does seem to minimize and keep me uplifted. merilee from MD

I feel like I spend most of my shopping days trying to find a bra that supports and minimizes (I'm 5'9" and 135 lbs). This bra does the job well! I have had several of these bras and generally have had very good luck with them. However, on this particular one, one of the underwires is about half an inch short, so it doesn't reach all the way up to the padded seam, and it is digging into my underarm and side of my breast. It's very painful and I'm also afraid it's going to rip right out the side of the bra. Of course this didn't come to light until after I had worn the bra for a day so I can't return it. I'm very disappointed. Becky from Des Moines/IA/USA

These Walcoal underwire minimizer bras CAN NOT be beat. I could seriously jog in this Slimline Seamless bra. It holds me perfectly secure and gives me the shape I love. I look so much better in my clothes. However, I it's difficult to find a good minimizer in the size 32 that I need, most start at 34, and it's next to impossible to find a 32DD in white of ivory. I love this bra! It is very supportive and comfortable. It has opaque cups that are NOT lined. (I don't need the padding!) The minimizing effect seems to come from eliminating the center front band: the bra nonetheless achieves "separation," but there is not the flattening some minimizers produce. I have ordered six of this bra in three colors so far. Sheila from Connecticut

Though this was exactly as advertised, and does indeed minimize, what I really needed, as it turns out, is a 38 E, not available in this model. This bra is the best I've found for a smooth look under tee shirts or knits that also provides the support I need. I dislike molded cups. However, I wish this bra were available in 38G to allow better separation of the cups, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. Cheryl from midwest

This minimizer works fairly well, but the back clasp is so terribly scratchy I can hardly stand wearing it! If you are at all sensitive, I would chose another bra. I've worn Bali bras for years and have never had this problem.

Wacoal Response: First, make sure the bra is not too tight, perhaps you should try a 34DD. Second, make sure you properly launder the bra- and do not put it in the dryer. This is Herroom's best selling minimizer and we have not heard this before. Please let us know if the problem continues. Sara from Carmel, IN

It's extremely uncomfortable and pushed my breasts together. It's not for me. I have returned it for a Simone Perele.

Wacoal Response: This bra is a minimizer and it is designed to make you appear smaller. It feels as if it is pushing your breasts together because it is designed to be a shallow cup and it presses the breast tissue against the chest wall. I suggest you not get a minimizer and try another of the pretty Wacoal bras in our regular full figure styles. Nahid from New York, NY

I love Wacoal and am always a solid 34D when wearing this brand. This bra does not fit right. I have looked at other reviews and almost always 34D's say the same thing. I think this size in this Wacoal line is misfitted.

Vendor Response: This is the best selling bra at Herroom.com but it is a "minimizer" and by design it fits differently than a normal Wacoal bra. You need to return to a regular full figure bra in 34D. We have several seamless underwire bras in 34D that I am sure you would be happy with. Try" #85184, 85185, 85192, or 85567. Love the way this bra fits--well worth the money because i am a difficult fit. I am at least 1 cup size larger on one side than the other and amazingly this bra being a minimizer seems to allow for that, appears to make me look comparable cup sizes on both sides, yet still minimizes. This is the best bra I have ever worn. It is pretty with the flower embroidery. I also purchased the plain one for almost $20 less and the only difference I can see is the embroidery. I don't notice any functional difference. The bra is amazing. It covers the breast fully so there is nothing is popping out the top. The center front rests nicely against the skin - unlike other bras for DD's. The band and straps do not move all day long! The bra just moves with you, never riding up or moving around on you. This is not a comfortable bra. I would not recommend it as the wires stab at you in the arm pit. Unfortunately, I figured this out after I wore the bra for a few hours and I could not return it in good faith. Do not buy this unless you try it on in a store first.

Wacoal Response: Usually if a bra has wires that "stab" as you mentioned it is because you have picked a cup that is too small or a band size that is too small. We suggest that you go up a cup or band size. Try on this style in 40DDD or try on style 857109 minimizer in size 38G. fabia from Marion, MA

The color was unlike what was shown online. Hideous brown color, not the delicate off-white I expected. The bra itself is a good one, though the stretch straps don't control enough. I sent it back because of the color.

Wacoal Response: It sounds as if this customer bought the bra in either naturally nude or cappuccino- she should order it in the IVORY color . tafmon from Fairbanks AK

I am very happy with the minimizing effect of this bra. I bought one in a smaller band size last year and am just replacing it now (the other one has gotten a lot of use). The bra is very flattering and I feel confident when I wear it. HOWEVER, I've had discomfort problems with both bras--the old band size and the new one. The band and straps dig in to my skin and after a day's use, it really hurts. It's not enough to stop me from wearing it, but I have painful red marks (especially with the smaller band size). I wear the same band size in all other bras so I think maybe it's the way minimizer are designed. Anyway, overall I'm very happy with this bra. It would be perfect if they could work modesty petals into it! Jen from Kansas City, MO

This is it for me! This bra is comfortable in all ways. I have tried less expensive, more expensive and had almost given up when I read some reviews about this particular bra. I had purchased a lacier Wacoal before and found it itchy and not as comfortable as I'd hoped so this was my last try...and I'm glad I did. It makes me feel sleeker in my clothes. I held off on a 5 star rating ONLY because I haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up. It is pricier than most but does what I'd hoped so the price in this case was worth it! I have the exact same style 85154 in 36D, which is a few years old and if fits perfectly. So I expected the new one I ordered to fit the same, but it was too small in the cups and the back enclosure has 2 hooks, the one I have has 3 hooks. It was not what I expected so I had to return it. Don't know why the same style and size bra is different.

HerRoom Response: This is a very unusual comment. I will say that if your old bra is rather old, it has probably stretched out. If this is the case, a new one would feel smaller.

Wacoal Response: This is our best selling minimizer. The only reason that the bra you received is different than the other ones is that it was mis-labeled. Rarely do we have this problem but it sounds like the bra simply had the wrong labels in it. You returned it which is the right thing to do. I will contact Wacoal and have them check this size to prevent this from happening again. Patty from Manchester

My body shape and weight have changed more than I would like to admit as I age. I am a life time Wacoal devotee and have been wearing the full figure bra 85814 for years, but I feel I need to wear a bra with more support now. When I received this new bra (85154) and tried it on, I was amazed how comfortable and how well it fit my body (not just my breasts) is nearly perfect. I am going to recommend this bra to my sisters! I found this bra to be very comfortable but it doesn't seem to minimize as much as I would like. It gives me fullness on the sides which, I think, makes me look heavier and still top heavy. It doesn't have boning and the cups are seamless which add to its comfort and creates a smooth look under clothing. It does seem to reduce back fat as well. I've only worn it a few times so my opinion will probably change. Number one plus is that it's very comfortable. Kalegra from Seattle

This bra is the one I am searching for, its excellent at minimizing the fabric is a little "firmer" offering some compression as well as modesty. Why do they only make it for up to 40 band size? I require a 42 and have finally bought a pack of the bra extenders you offer and now the bra is perfect. Another customer noted she was scratched by the hook and eye closure on the back and I had this same problem with one of my bras, I would like to offer my suggestion that she also get some of the bra extenders and she can adjust it for the very smallest (tightest) hook both sides and it will fit perfectly and the softness of the bra extenders relieves all the scratching! Try it these bras are too expensive to just leave sitting useless in ones draw. AJ from CT

The band was very uncomfortable and compared to my other bras of the same band size it was two band sizes too small(no kidding) thus the reason for the uncomfortableness. I was disappointed because I was told it was a great bra. Maybe it was defective, I don't know but I wouldn't recommend it unless you fit it first.

HerRoom Response: This is a minimizer bra. By definition, the band will be smaller to allow for compression. Candy from Woodinville/Washington/USA

I BOUGHT 2 MINIMIZER WACOAL BRAS ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO AND WAS TOLD BY THE SALESLADY THAT THEY NEVER WENT ON SALE, AS THEY SOLD SO WELL. I WORE ANOTHER BRAND UNTIL THEY WERE DISCONTINUED LAST YEAR, AND THEIR "SUBSTITUTE" BRA IS NOT AS SUPPORTIVE. I SPLURGED ON 4 WACOAL BRAS RECENTLY AND I WILL NEVER WEAR ANY OTHER BRAND AGAIN! THE FIT IS PERFECT! I WOULD GIVE THEM 10 STARS IF I COULD AND JUST WISH THEY WERE NOT SO EXPENSIVE. I HOPE THAT WACOAL DOES NOT DISCONTINUE THIS STYLE. JEAN from RINGGOLD, LA

This bra does its job as a minimizer, the fabric is nice and the bra is quite pretty. But the metal underwires stick me in the armpits and the finishing on the clasp ends was so hard that I had to snip off the corners with nail clippers. If it wasn't such an expensive bra, I wouldn't bother adding my opinion, but I have purchased 4 other minimizer bras from HerRoom without experiencing these problems and the other bras were cheaper. Very nice bra. It's comfortable and has a nice shape. At first I thought it was too big, because there was some 'puckering' in the cups. But after reviewing the 'Practical Solutions to Bra Fitting Problems' page, and then adjusting the straps, the fit is much better. I really like that solutions page by the way. Bras can be very difficult to fit. The solutions page gives great advice for specific fitting problems. I highly recommend it to anyone struggling to find the proper fit. Tricia from MA/USA

Read a whole lot of reviews for this item before buying it. It turned out to be almost perfect even though it is on the pricey side. Does what it is supposed to which is minimize :) Would have given 5 stars except that I found the wire digging after long time wear. These three bras have a rough place in the back, on the fabric that touches my skin, on the surface where the 'eyes' are located. This has abraded my skin so that I have a visible red place on my back and it is very uncomfortable. So I am now wearing my old Wacoal bras and this is giving the sore on my back a chance to heal. I have worn these bras for about 15 years, and have never had a problem with them. Carlynn from Greenville, NC

Loved the bra. Wacoal bras seem to fit the best as far as minimizers go. This particular one reduces projection and also fits tight enough that I'm "held in place". Finding a 32DD bra is very difficult and I seem to only be able to find this online and in a more expensive line. But nevertheless, I do love the product and it fits like a charm. I purchased this bra because of the reviews and my experience with the brand. The first one of this model was awesome.. however, I did order a second and it was vastly different. First of all, the back had only 2 rows of hooks (3 in the picture, and in my experience).. secondly, the banding edge was much cheaper than the first. The fit was off.. I am getting stuck in the side with the under wire. This is why my rating is lower.. the first was great, the second a disappointment.

HerRoom Response: Hello Nan. We researched your two orders. The first time, you purchased a size 34DD. The second time you purchased a 34DDD. This probably explains the reason why the fit is different, and the hook count is different. The hook count by size is stated in our Fitters Comments tab. Nan from Connecticut

Very close fit, the best I've found. Will definitely reorder as long as they keep making them. I've had other Minimizers in 32DD, and the cup was made of a knit fabric. So while it looked good when first put on, during the day everything would droop in the cup. This bra is of comfortable, and doesn't droop. Monta from AK

I was blown away by how much better my shirts looked on me with this bra and how much better I could fit into button-down shirts I'd try on! It was like an instant breast reduction and lift. The nicest part, is that it pushes your chest up and pulls it in without being uncomfortable. After a full day at work, sometimes the bra bothers me a little bit around my torso, but it's still definitely a keeper -- I'm even thinking of buying a second one! Meredith from Vermont/USA

This was a very nice looking bra and I had hopes of it being perfect. However, it was too small in the band size and when I called Customer Service they told me it ran small and to order the next size up - 40DD. I did and it was way to big...the band size being on the 2nd hook and the cup size being too big. I opted to try a different bra.

I've worn Wacoal for years and years but this is a first for me. This bra does not fit the bust at all. I had it on for 5 hours yesterday and it left red marks on my bust that are still visible this morning. I cannot wear this bra and I'm so disappointed. Wacoal minimizes are my very favorite and I can't imagine why this one is so different.

Wacoalln Response: Wacoal suggests moving up a cup size to a DD. Being a seamless bra the 85154 will fit differently than a cut and sewn bra. We suggest trying Wacoal 85122 as it is probably the most comfortable of the minimizers, but it is not seamless. Robyn from Maryland

This is my old favourite. I always go back to this bra. When I want a sleeker less chesty look this is the bra that works. It is very minimizing so if you are only looking for support this might not be the bra for you. My only complaint is it can be so minimizing that the back isn't always invisible under T-shirts. I really like the bra. It gives the girls great support without being uncomfortable. It does minimize but doesn't make me look flat. I've worn Victoria Secrets bras for the last 20 years. In the last 5 years or so VS bras started feeling really uncomfortable. They always had padding (which I don't need) and the wires would jabb me in the ribs or under the arms. The reason I didn't give this bra 5 stars is because of the nipple show through. I didn't like the fact I couldn't wear some of my v-neck shirts and those that have thin material because of the nipple show through. I will definitely purchase this bra again as it is the most comfortable one I own. It's about time bra manufactures realize many women have implants and make bras to fit us:) Toni from Georgia

I had to return this item because the cup size was far too small - and I always wear a 34D! I couldn't believe how small it was, considering I own many other Wacoal bras. Despite it being so small, I didn't notice much of a minimizing effect! Which was surprising and made me return the item instead of exchanging it for a bitter size. I think I will try a different brand when I reorder. On seeing the material, I also think I'll invest in a minimizer that also provides "cold weather" protection - the material was extremely thin. This is a very nice item but, frankly, I doubt that i will order it again. It cuts in to my shoulders too much and causes some discomfort--my penalty for having big boobs! I also have narrow shoulders and the straps slide off. However, it is well made as are all Wacoal products. I have already placed an order for Item 857138 and will see if that solves my problem. I did call Customer Service. However, the item that was recommended was not a Minimizer (probably my fault) and I do prefer them. HerRoom is a great source for anyone to use. Very strange bra. The cups are very close together and allow the sides to bulge out. The cups are large, and somewhat elongated. The back wings are made out of the stretchy mesh that has never held up for me. I am disappointed that this is an expensive bra and seems so poorly made. I am returning it.

Wacoal Response: 85154 is a minimizer bra; by it's definition it has broad and shallow cups to minimize your breast projection. The bra is designed to push the tissue against the chest wall and spread it outward from the center of the bra just as you described. It sounds like you probably should be wearing Wacoal 85814 or 85185. These bras have a deeper cup and do not push out to the sides. Jean from Fort Bragg, CA

This minimizer bra is comfortable, looks fantastic under T-shirts, and I look firm and athletic, exactly what I want! Unlike other minimizers, these comfortable straps stay in place, and the bra never moves. Don't be afraid of the underwire feature because you can't tell it's there. This bra DOES, indeed, run small...I originally ordered a 36D which has been my "forever" size, even after measuring again, and when I received my order my cups "runeth over". But....I could tell it would be a very comfortable product once it fit correctly, so I ordered again this time one cup size larger. These fit like a DREAM. I only gave 4 stars, though, because the black bra actually fits BETTER than the beige one. The beige one digs into my sides a bit by the end of the day, whereas the black one does not. It's a bit strange....but I kept them both and I would say that these bras are worth the money. Thanks, HerRoom.com, for making bra shopping SO EASY! You have a new lifetime customer! I've tried a lot of bras, and this one is the best I've ever worn. It allows me to wear a size 10, or Medium, blouse or top, which is perfect for the rest of my upper body. It's reasonably comfortable, despite the underwire (I HATE underwire), and several people have thought I lost weight since I started wearing this bra. It's expensive, but worth the money. gg from NC, USA

I live in Holland and have been ordering minimizers for years and years in the US, because we don't have great brands in Holland. I used to always wear Lilyette minimizers, but unfortunately they stopped making the brand I always used. The Wacoal minimizer is a great replacement, unfortunately a lot more expensive, but with my size having a good bra is essential. I will keep on ordering this minimizers from HerRoom. First of all, I normally wear a 38D in at least 90% of the bras I try. In this style the 38D was too tight on the loosest hooks (but the cup size was just right). I tried a 40D and found the band to fit about right, but the cups were about 25% bigger than me - just in case something was off I tried another of this style in a 40D, same fit. I tried it in a 40C - again the band was OK, but this time the cups were just too small. I even tried a 38DD - cups too big, band too small. I believe this is the full range of sizes I might possibly wear and none of them fit my body! I'll stick with the Awareness in a 40D, and the Bodysuede (not Ultra) in a 38D until Wacoal comes out with something new. LL from Lexington, KY

Very comfortable, and well fitting, which is difficult for me to find in a bra. It took me over 40 yrs before I got a professional bra fitting and Wacoal was one of the bras given to me. I even like this bra better than my previous Wacoal bra. This give me plenty of support and actually minimizes my large chest without flattening my ta tas. This bra might peek out of shirts that are plunging but as one gets older your necklines tend to rise so it hasn't been a problem for me. It's funny I chose this bras and later found out it was popular on Oprah and the View. Holly from Long Valley, NJ

This is my staple bra--when they wear out, I replace with this same one; comfortable, very supportive, looks good under virtually all clothing. I am a 36DDD and have a physically active job so support is critical and minimizing is important. This bra gives you a nice, natural, rounded shape, and no seams mean no distractions under smoother fabrics. The straps are also comfortable--no digging. The center wire sits flat against the sternum, making for good separation--hard to find in bras for full busted women. I always buy 2 or 3 at time to keep one in use, one clean and one for back up. I recommend highly for all women who are DD or higher and want an everyday, very supportive and comfortable minimizer. Karen from Naperville, IL

I got this bra to try because of all the hype...and this case it is ALL true! First I made sure I got the right measurements for myself. Then I ordered it...it is THE most comfortable bra I have ever worn in my whole life! The $65 is well worth it. If you own only 2 bras (specially if you are big busted), let them be 2 of this bra!! It doesn't dig into my shoulders and doesn't ride up when I raise my arms or reach for something, sits right at the rib cage. I'm getting one for my mom now!! My favorite bra used to be the Bali 3364 minimizer which gave a nice natural shape. Unfortunately, it only goes up to a DD cup which I no longer fit into. This Wacoal didn't work well for me because it flattened out my breasts by pushing them way to the sides- my old Bali moved them more up and to the center (but not so centered as to make a uniboob). The top of the bra also came up very high- too high for a lot of my tops. On the plus side, it did feel supportive and comfortable, so if you don't mind the shape it gives, it's probably a good bra. This is nearly the perfect bra!!! The only thing i found to be a problem was that the bra was high chested, so that when i wore shirts that show a little bit of my chest or cleavage, the bra was totally exposed in the upper region of the shirt. (I hope that makes sense!). This bra is so comfortable and really holds up my cleavage. I have such a heavy bust that i can never find anything comfortable to fit. But since the bra comes up sorta high on my chest, i can only wear it with sweaters or selective shirts. that can be a pain. but other than that, this bra is the best bra i have ever had in my life!!! Very dissatisfied. I have worn the Wacoal style 85130 for several years and loved it. This was recommended as a replacement for that discontinued style. The wires caused redness in two areas. At the end of the day my body was sore. Unfortunately I had removed the tags and cannot return it. Wacoal has made a mistake in discontinuing the 85130. It fit like skin and was much prettier. I much prefer it to the 'molded cup' bras that are so popular right now, much more natural shape and still no see-through. Margaret from Pleasanton

The best bra I've ever owned! Supportive, and I can finally fit into shirts I haven't worn in over a year! I have implants, and under sweaters and such, I've always looked larger than I am b/c the garments just hang off my breasts. No more! I look as though I've lost 10 pounds. AND it's comfortable! *swoons* Thank you Wacoal! Laurie from Florida

I tried this as a replacement for 85130, which is being discontinued, unfortunately. This one however made me look a little squished and flattened, unlike the previous wacoal which just made me look smaller. Also there was less separation between the cups - if you have a bit of space there like I do, this is a problem... it was comfortable - just didn't give a good look in clothes. ML from New Hampshire

I am so pleased with this bra! I work in a professional environment and do not want to draw attention to my chest, which I've always felt made me look heavier than I am, given my relatively small frame/shoulders. I love that there's no interfering seams, and it is so comfortable. I do not have to yank the back down or constantly adjust the straps. A week after I started wearing it, someone asked me if I'd lost weight :) Allie from NY,NY

I love this bra for its supportive, rigid straps; smooth cups; and overall quality. This is the best bra I've ever worn, but lately I've shrunk (thank you, middle age), and I need a smaller cup size. Please make this bra in 34B. It sounds crazy, but I need supportive construction like this even in my small size. 34C is the smallest size, and it's just too big. Most smaller bras are either padded (which I don't need) or have flimsy straps and materials. Please, please make this bra in a 34 or 36 B. A greater range of sizes and colors is what we all need! I've been happily wearing style# 85130 for years and I'm VERY disappointed that it is being discontinued as the next closest thing is this style#85154. Comparatively, 85130 has thinner yet supportive straps, a deeper "v" neckline and less fabric covering the upper breast which was much more feminine feeling and looking. This style, which I returned because it was so ugly and not as comfortable is like all the other large cup bras that look and feel more like oxen breast plates, not mention more fabric is hotter. I'm not asking for spaghetti straps and demi cups, but style#85130 helped me fit into tops without pulling across the bust and was at least somewhat pretty and more delicate with great support. c from houston

Recently I purchased a Wacoal minimizer bra. At first I thought the cost to be a little more than what I would normally pay for a bra, but after receiving my purchase promptly in the mail I was simply amazed by the comfort and fit and felt it was worth every last cent! In all my years of trying to purchase a bra that would meet these standards i have found it, thanks to Oprah. It feels as if I am wearing nothing but the natural support! I am so pleased with this bra and I would encourage anyone with large breasts who don't see them as a fashion statement to get this bra. They will not be disappointed! I love it! I have worn the Bali minimizer for years because it was all I could find that minimized, but when I tried this bra I threw all the Balis away! This bra truly minimizes (my button up shirts actually don't gap anymore) it's actually pretty (doesn't look like body armor) and is totally comfortable, I practically forget I have it on. And I LOVE how I look in a sweater now. The size runs exact. I ordered the Chantelle minimizer at the same time as this one and sent the Chantalle back -- the Wacoal puts it to shame!! It is one of those bras that once you know your size, you can just buy it without trying it on again. It is completely worth every penny and I will wear it forever!! I actually bougth the bra as a Christmas gift for my wife. I found information about it in a blog (searching on the internet). What happens is that here in P.R. we could not find big bra sizes. My wife was so happy when she received it as she said, "it feels so comfortable and it really minimizes". Now, her clothes can fit better and her breast does not look so big. Because of that we have already bougth a 2nd one for (black color). It is on backorder, but we know aready about the good customer service that herroom.com provides. Regards, Carlos from Puerto Rico

I would buy this bra in bulk. Perfect fit. Comfortable. The bra itself isn't sexy but it makes all my clothes sexy by shaping me correctly. Hey Wacoal, how about a nice, basic, matching, low-rise thong? Minimizers don't usually have matching underwear and if they do it's a "granny panty". Or am I asking too much? Julie from Michigan

I have no garment to review because your sizes stop at 40 DDD. How about making a larger size for those or us who need a 42 or 44 DDD or G? You've had so many rave reviews. If only I could buy this bra in my size, I would probably rave about it too. I have all the same complaints as your other correspondents have about all the other brands that have failed to give me the support and comfort I need. Is there any chance You might be making larger sizes for the rest of us who need this bra? (HerRoom Response: Since this minimizer bra is seamless, Wacoal feels the design will not properly minimize in larger sizes. Wacoal suggest minimizer 85122 and 85151 which come in larger sizes.) This bra runs small. I usually wear a 38DD and I found the 40D fit better in this style. This is the only negative thing that I can say about this fantastic bra!! I have tried every minimizer on the market, and I have never been truly happy with them. If they are comfortable, they don't do the job. If they support and minimize, they are binding and scratchy. The Wacoal 85154 minimizes, supports, while living no "lumps and bumps" in the back or under the arms! I forget I have a bra on, and being a D/DD, this has never happened with any bra I have owned. My sister sent me this bra as a gift and I'm thrilled to discover it. My mother and I are always looking for a better bra (we wear the same style) and this is the best I've found so far. It's comfortable and minimizing, and I like the shape. Best of all, the back is only two hooks, not four! I'll now have to buy more of these. My previous favorite bra was Bali's Beyond Beautiful Minimizer, only for how small it made me look. But this Wacoal fits me better and provides coverage that the Bali doesn't; the Bali has embroidery that you can see through and that shows through t-shirts. (I mostly wear t-shirts and sweaters.) I would love it if Wacoal could find a way to make this bra in cotton, as I prefer natural fibers. If cotton alone wouldn't provide enough support, perhaps it could be blended with Lycra? Also, I would love if Wacoal can start making this in many colors, the way Victoria's Secret does with their bras. I've bought many Victoria's Secret bras over the years even though they didn't fit well because of the colors they come in. I wear tank tops, and my bra straps invariably show. So I need bras whose straps are the color of my various tank tops. Pastels and brights. I hope Wacoal is reading this! Thanks again. J. from Florida

I thought I had exhausted the search for the most perfect bra when I stumbled across this sight. EUREKA, I FOUND IT! I couldn't be happier with my purhases and this particular style is extra nice because it's seamless. I'm not a mutant or anything but I wasn't blessed with big beautiful big breasts, just plain ol' big regular gravity stricken not the best gene pool kind of breasts. This bra is the best, whether you feel you need the minimizer aspect or not! Elaine from San Francisco, CA

This is seriously the best bra I have ever owned. I am a 34DDD, and this is the only comfortable, supportive bra that I have ever owned. Not only does it fit perfectly, it gives me a nice shape under tighter-fitting clothes without the pointy-looking effect. I definitely plan on buying more of this style....it is literally perfect. I have tried so many bras, but this is the best. Yes, its a little pricey but well worth it and its so comfortable and wears well. I also suggest getting one size bigger and hand wash to keep the bra longer, but this bra is a God send and I can't thank Her Room enough for carring it.THANKS!!!! Jerrie from Meeker Co.

I have never, EVER ordered a bra through the mail that fit, much less fit as well as this one. Being a petite person (5 ft.) and a DD has had many disadvantages throughout my life. I always felt out of proportion, top heavy and awkward. This bra is not only comfortable and very supportive but minimizes beautifully and makes me feel more in proportion for the first time in my life! Thank you Wacoal! I love this bra! This is one of the most supportive, comfortable bras I've ever worn. It does run smaller in size, so I would suggest ordering a size up, but the cups are generous and provide full coverage. The straps don't slip and the back doesn't ride up or roll. But probably the best feature is the minimizing effect. I would be willing to bet that it minimizes a good two inches. Now, that means that when you first put it on, you notice a bit more spread to the sides, but it's worth it for the support. The embroidery work is a little cheesy, but it's not so prominent that it shows under clothes. I'm waiting to see how long it lasts... JJB from Eureka, CA

This bra is THE most comfortable bra I have ever bought (and for an underwire, that's saying something)! I work in an ER and on an ambulance, and this bra stays in place no matter how active I am. The straps are super comfortable and don't dig into my shoulders; the support this bra provides makes me look more youthful. I highly recommend this bra--it's the nicest of all the Wacoal's I've purchased thusfar. Patty Loynd from Marblehead, MA

I too was prepared to love this bra based on the fantastic reviews. I do like how I look in this bra, but I have to say that the sizing is quite different from the other Wacoal bras. These run smaller across the back than my other Wacoals. Overall, although I like the look, they are not the most comfortable. Debi from Phoenix, AZ

I bought two of these bras expecting great things. They fit great in the dressing room and looked terrific under my T-shirt. I was very disappointed. Any kind of mild physical activity would cause the center panel to shift and my breasts would start to slip below the underwire. I would say it was a fit issue, but I tried the 32" and the 36" just to be sure. If you wear a D or DD this is not the bra for you! Marah Ellen from Jacsonville/ NC/Onslow

I was so hopeful based on the other reviews, but also prepared to have to send them back. I put one on. Then I grabbed one of my new Tencel T-shirts that I haven't been able to wear yet this summer because the wires on my (former brand) bra poke up between like an old ladies bra. Then there was that having to adjust the strap buckle all the way up to the top of my sholder to get the fit. Not comfortable when using a shoulder bag, I am still too young (49) to have to settle for all that. Anyway, back to my first impression. Talking outloud to my self, "OMG!" & 'Sweet!!" I can't thank you enough. I have lost at least 10 years off my chest. Not only is the minimizing superb, the shaping is perfect. Oh, not to forget the original reason I took the plunge to invest in this garment.... yes, it is so comfortable I expect the scars under my arms (those old bones poking) to now start to fade. This bra is absolutely amazing! For a short-waisted person with a 36DDD bust, the coverage is not "up to my neck" like it can be in bras from other brands. AND, I get the " reduction on only 3 hooks in the back, vs 4-5 on competitors' bras. What a blessing this bra is! April Mae from Lewisville, NC USA

I am extremely pleased with this bra. It's very comfortable, de-emphasizes, makes clothes fit better, washes beautifully, and I can't think of a reason to ever buy any other model bra again. Please, Wacoal, continue to be one of the few manufacturers to remember there are 32 and 34 DD and DDD women out here, and never stop making it! Johanna Grace from Walnut Creek, CA

Purchased two new bras about one month ago,(very expensive purchase)disappointed the elastic in the back is not wide enough to smooth any rolls one may have. I was measured and I am between a 36DDD and a 38DDD. Very frustrating place to be. Rosemarie Welding from Wilmington DE

Recently I purchased a Wacoal minimizer bra. At first I thought the cost to be a little more than what I would normally pay for a bra, but after receiving my purchase promptly in the mail I was simply amazed by the comfort and fit and felt it was worth every last cent! In all my years of trying to purchase a bra that would meet these standards I thought it impossible and I would got to my grave without ever having a comfortable bra! It feels as if I am wearing nothing but the natural support! I am so pleased with this bra and I would encourage anyone with large breasts who don't see them as a fashion statement to get this bra. They will not be dissappointed! I love it! Thank you!!! francina g. still from cherry hill new jersey usa

This bra is absolutely the best! I've been searching for years for a comfortable bra. Not only does this bra make me look better than ever, it also makes me feel like I'm not wearing one! I've tried many minimizers and none of them have made me look 10lbs lighter. I'm going to stick with this one!! shari whyard from aquebogue,ny

I love the slimline, but it would be nice if it came in black. The only thing that stops me from ordering more, is the color. Black slimline would be nice.

HerRoom response: They must have heard you, it now comes in black!

This bra definitely makes you look smaller with a more natural shape. It is also extremely comfortable and holds you in place for a longer period of time, eliminating the need for pulling and adjusting. I highly recommend it. I have been looking for a minimizer for at least a year and have finally found one that meets my requirements of natural shape, comfort and minimizing. Hellelujah. Sharon from Ann Arbor, MI
