Very comfortable and well made - I use the slip as sleepwear/lounging w/ VF Ravissant briefs. I prefer a loose fit, so I order one size larger. Nylon/spandex blends do not cling like 100% nylon. Very comfortable and non-binding. So comfortable I actually hate to take it off. Latest order was briefly back ordered, but was delivered 2 days after shipping. Would like to see more color choices. It's hard to find an old-school slip any more. Those "shaper" ones roll up on me, just as I suspected. The spin slip is a great idea, with the unconstructed shape and two necklines. Sizing doesn't seem to be accurate. The length is fine and the fabric is nice and it works okay with a one-piece dress, but if I wear it with a skirt and blouse, it twists around and I have to constantly adjust it. I would not buy another.

I ordered one in black and one in nude and sent them both back. They are very large. I am typically a medium/size 8, and I would have expected a 34 to be much smaller. That wouldn't have been a huge problem, but the reason I sent them back was because it was really low cut (probably due to the size as well). I have a large chest and the reason I wanted a slip in the first place is so that I can wear it under dresses and not show a ton of cleavage. This would have been useless, and there weren't adjustable straps to fix the problem.

Vanity Fair Response: I would recommend to try S/10085 chemise it has adjustable straps and a straight/ slightly curved front neck for more modesty. it is offered in 18 & 22" length. The color is what was needed, but we are very disappointed at how impossible it has been to find such a slip in 100% cotton. We found a 100% cotton version only at Eileen Fisher, but the only color they had was white. We ordered that slip also and we'll see if we can dye it. Everyone should carry a cotton slip!

I am a size 6. I put the slip on in my hotel room. By the time I had walked out to the parking lot to my car, the slip was twisted and up around my waist. I would not recommend this item.

I wore this and fought with it twisting around ALLLLLL day and evening long. It actually took my focus off of a very very important function.. having to constantly worry about it having twisted around and hanging out of the armholes of my dress and showing at the neckline..... horrible experience. I wish I could return.. hate hate hate hate it!!!

For the price, this slip is great! My only negative comment would be that the smallest size available (34) is quite large. I'm pretty small, 5'3 - wear a 34B- and this slip is quite long, went to the middle of my knee (I ended up cutting about 5" off), the straps fall down frequently, and it is pretty baggy. Love, love, love this slip! I originally wanted it to wear under a white, sundress. Well, it didn't work for that because the neckline of the dress was lower than the neckline of the slip. But, I didn't want to return it because it felt so comfortable on and I'll probably end up wearing in under something else or using it as a nightgown. Make sure you get the right size! I really wanted to like this slip. However, regardless of the dress I wear over it, it twists around to the side and then bunches up. I've tried everything to keep this from happening, but having to safety pin your slip down the sides to your dress sort of negates the "ease" I am looking for. I've pretty much stopped wearing them. BTW, I bought four and it happens with all for of them. Unfortunately, I'd removed the tags from all of them before I realized this was a problem. Because of that, I would not recommend this item. At my height of 5 ft 2, the slip is a lot longer than I expected, and I'll end up hemming it. I like this slip a lot. It is for shorter skirts and dresses. Reversing the slip doesn't work well for me, since I am a 36 D or DD bra size, but I didn't need to reverse it anyway, so I am happy. I heeded the advice to get a smaller size than usual, and it worked, since I got a 36. I usually need a 38 in a slip, because of my large cup size. I wear size 10 and 12 pants. The fabric is very silky, with a good weight, and drapes well. This is a good slip if you want clean lines instead of lace edging. I would say this is a versatile slip. Anne from Seattle, WA

Good fit (for curvy), durable, good value. Can be worn either way -- moderate scoop neck or vee. Can double as a nightshirt (good for travel). These slips are nicely sewn, and have no cheesy machine-made lace or useless "adjustable" metalwork on the straps. These slips seem to be one of a kind, and are very hard to find.
