I'm a large woman with small breasts and hard to fit in bras, plus after two shoulder replacement surgeries, I can't fasten bras in the back any longer. Nice, comfortable bra for "the retired lady life". I had problems finding a front close bra that had a large band size and an A/B cup. Most offer only mammoth size cups. The fabric is wonderfully soft, two ply and offers good support for a bra that most would consider a leisure bra. This bra washes and drys nicely. I now put mine in the dryer after a couple of washes to verify that it has minimal, if any, shrinkage. I have purchased two of these bras, and will soon be getting two more. This is nicely made from quality materials. I like the satiny piping around the edges. Some reviewers mentioned it runs small in the band, and they were right; I normally wear a 36 but this 38 is perfectly comfortable. I feel it important to remind people that this bra is described as a sleep, lounge, and everyday bra- not a sport bra. I had been buying the Anita Active Front Close Sports Bra. I have arthritis, and was wearing it as an everyday bra. (I am in no condition for sports.) But, it is spendy. Some reviewers mentioned they were using this Valmont bra as a sport bra. So I thought perhaps it had pretty good support for everyday wear despite its descrlption as a sleep or lounge bra. Perhaps, for some, it is suitable for everyday wear, however, I did not find it to be so. Granted, I am heavy in the chest, and have grown accustomed to the firm support of the Anita Bra. But, I do give the Valmont 4 stars, because as a sleep and lounge bra, it is very comfortable. I had not thought of using a sleep bra, but have found that it does help lighten the aches I experience in my chest and shoulders at night. I like the light support it gives me as I go about my mornings. But when my "real day" begins, it's time for my Anita. So, in a nutshell, I would not really expect too much out of this bra for everyday "all day" wear. But as a sleep and lounge bra, it holds up to its comfort claims. Liked the front hook, as my range of motion is limited after double mastectomy. Also nice material, stretchy, but I had to return them because they are not adjustable on the strap, and the arm whole was very tight. I don't have really big arms, but have a small amount of residual swelling from the surgery, and without being able to adjust the straps, the bra was rubbing against my shoulder and under my armpit, very uncomfortable.
