It's almost impossible to find a briefer without cup seams in my size. This comes close. Smooth cups are excellent but the minimizer body is extremely tight; I'll need to go up to a 44. I had to clip out the wires which were poking my underarms.
HerRoom Response: Underwires poking usually means you need to move up a cup size.

I am in my 60's and I am not as firm as I used to be. I am busty and the girls do sag over time. I always liked a smooth look in my clothes. The Va Bein briefer gives the girls uplift and fits the bill for me.

It does minimize in the bust area, but if you are looking for a really firm fit, this bodysuit isn't for you.

This minimizer is a TRUE minimizer! The fabric is smooth so your top garments move across it freely. Top quality product. I'll be back to order another so I will have a spare.

Love these suits and have purchased many over the past 10+ years. However, the first time I washed this particular garment, the underwire popped through and I have had to repair it. This has happened to older ones but never on the first time washing.

I am 5'9" tall (174) and I struggle to EVER find one piece shapers or one piece bathing suits that are long enough. This one was perfect in every way. Plenty of support, plenty of length. The bottom isn't super tight but my hips are probably about 39" and it is fine for me.

A reviewer below wrote that the minimizer has been changed and she's absolutely right. The minimizer does not minimize like it used to, and I am the same weight and size. Minimizers are hard to come by so I'm forced by this one.

I wanted to wait until I had time to really experience wearing the bodysuit. I love how this bodysuit tucks in everything, it's very firm and comfortable to wear. I actually wish it could be even more firm but then I think that would be considered a corset LOL. I have ordered bodysuits from other vendors and none really did their job as this one has. I will be ordering more in the very near future.

I have worn Va Bien for years, however, this style is terrible. The top is way too small and the bottom is way too large. Can't imagine why this would fit differently than other styles.

I was extremely disappointed in this bodysuit. In the past, I've worn the Va Bien 1291, and always loved it. Now that I'm older, I thought I'd try something similar with a higher back for the flab that we get as we age. Now, I'm 5'6 1/2" and 240 lbs. The body suit would not even come up high enough on my body to get my breasts in it, and I really, really tugged on it to reach the breast area. it also had ENORMOUS cups, (I wear a 40DD normally) and the leg openings came all the way up to my navel, leaving all that tummy to protrude out from the leg holes. NOT a good look.

The bra on this one piece fits absolutely wonderful however, the rest of it is just way too long. After the bra, the rest is uncomfortable and even though I only weigh about 112 this one piece is way too tight and very very uncomfortable. I only wish I could get this same bra by it's self.

This is good shapewear. However, the torso is pretty long even when it's adjusted. I first ordered a larger size based on their suggested sizing and had to return it because I also sized up on the cup size. I reordered in my actual cup size but did leave the larger body size and it fits much better. I think it would be much better if it was made without underwire, I personally don't care for underwire bras.
Va Bien Response: Thank you, we are glad you like the bodysuit. As you noticed, Va Bien bodysuits tend to run long in the stride. Regarding the underwire, we do make a couple of soft cup (no underwire) bodysuits that you might like, although they do not have molded cups. Check out our styles Va Bien Classic Firm Control Bodysuit 1291 and Va Bien Classic Bodysuit with Legs 1292.

I have worn a good number of one pieces but this is one of the best. It was exactly the right size for my height (5'7") and figure (closer to full than average). Wore it under a bridesmaid dress and it smoothed me out nicely. Worth the money!

I have worn this item for about 6 to 7 years, and it has been modifited or poorly made. Most women who are top heavy want something to minimize their breast not make them look larger. I returned the item because the cups are pointed not round like the older version, and they made my breast look even larger. There are bra's out there to minimize, but not full one piece body briefs.
Va Bien Response: So sorry to hear about your experience. No change has been made in the manufacturing process of this style since it was designed years ago. Most customers find that the cups do indeed minimize the bust.

I have ordered this same item for the second time and am disappointed with the quality. The first time I washed both of the garments the underwire poked through and the trim around the top of the cups came un sewn. I had to hand sew them back together. I expected the item to be of better quality after paying $50 for it.

One of the 3 pcs I purchased has a strap that is unraveling and coming apart after one wash - the other 2 are fine and offer very good support with comfort.
Vabien Response: Thank you for your feedback, this is highly unusual, we rarely hear of this problem.

It would be nice if they would make it in short , medium and tall lengths. If you are 5'3" or under the torso hangs. There are short people out there that need shapewear as well as those that are 5'4" and over. Companies seem to forget about us petite ladies.

I wish my body was longer, but since I'll probably be getting a breast reduction in the near future, I'll be able to go back to 36 or 34 D cup which would shorten the length of any new body suits I would purchase. But, for now I am happy with the suits I've just purchased and have been wearing them with no problems.

This shaper fits well. I like the one piece feel and full support bra. This is better than others because it gives a full support bra; the body material is firm but not suffocating; and it is smooth and simple doesn't have lace and decoration.

Fit across my back (36), but much too long in the torso. Does not provide the necessary support for my breast and the sides are too low. HerRoom Response: This bodysuit is not designed for women who are shorter than 5'4".

I love the fit and control of the Va Bien Minimizer. My issue with it, is the underwire coming out. On some, I've only worn it 2-4 times when the underwire just pokes through. Replacing the garment gets really costly.

The bodysuit fit well and was comfortable. I would have liked a little more waist compression but it did smooth me out. The suit took 1/2" off my bust measurement, not much but being only a C cup I just wanted a smooth bra with no push up effect for blouses.

I won't wear the Va Bien 701 again!! I have a long torso and it still was too long for me. The underwire went down to my midriff and the crotch area when snapped rubbed between my upper thighs. Unfortunately it seemed to fit ok when I first tried it on but by the end of the evening I was soooo happppy to take it off.

I bought this bodysuit mostly because of the minimizer
style in the bra. And it fits that way great. But I would
have liked a lot more control in the tummy area. Most girls with large busts have tummy issues also.

I love the Va Bien 701 Minimizer Body Suit. It is the best for comfort and fit that I have ever purchased (and I have tried many other brands). I like the way it fits up higher on the back and really keeps its shape after much wear. Initially I had trouble with the plastic loops on the straps breaking. Then, I decided to wash them like other lingerie. I put them in a net lingerie bag, wash on gentle and hang to dry. This works out wonderfully and they come out looking like new! I don't go into the big department stores looking and trying new undergarments any longer. I simply order from HerRoom in the comfort of my own home. I have never been displeased. Customer Service is A+.

I really like the Va Bien Minimizer. It is comfortable and it provides optimal support. My only issue with it, is that the underwire sometimes breaks through. I have had this happen about 2-3 times with relatively new garments. As long as the underwire stays in it's great! HerRoom Response: When your underwires keep poking out of your bra, there are generally 2 reasons: First, you are washing your bras in hot water which shrinks the casing around the underwire. Second, you might have too large a band size. The friction from your band moving around your body will eventually cause the wire to pop through.
