I received my order couple days ago I couldn’t wait to try it. It feels soft & beautiful. I love it. Perfect it. Covers all the way to my belly and I don’t have to keep pulling it down. It covers great and after the good customer service I got for sure I’ll shop again. Diana from Fairfax Virginia USA

Definitely buy a larger band size (as suggested in other reviews). The corset was tighter at the top and looser at the bottom for me; however, it does cover up my not-so-desirable tummy area (because it is long enough). I haven't worn it with anything yet, I've just tried it on; however, it seems to be of good quality. K from IL

I've tried a cup size down in this brand and thought one up would be perfect, it still could be a bit larger, but it was close enough. Boning is sturdy. Strapless is never an ideal fit at this size, but this is pretty good. Katharine from North Canton

It was comfortable but the cups were to big. I would have still worn it with some added cushion in the cups but the top of the cups peeked out from from the top of my strapless dress. Since I don't want to have to worry about my bra showing on my wedding day I sadly have to keep shopping. Lindsey from Beaumont, CA

I was so excited reading these reviews but this corset was awful on me. SUPER loose on my hips and crazy tight on my ribs...AND I sized up on the band!! Also, the top did NOTHING for my girls...there was no lift at all - super disappointing. Britney

It was exactly what I needed. It fits great under my wedding dress and will be just what I need for me big day. I took others advice about tweaking the size a bit and it ended up working out perfectly. Love it! Would definitely recommend. Lauren from Minnesota

I ordered my true size and a second one, up a band size and down a cup size. Both sizes were way too big in the bust. The cups had no support, even when I tightened the hooks. There was little room to support the breasts and lots of excess space at the top of the cups. The first size... Very tight...the 2nd one way too big around bottom of corset! I wanted to love it, but this is not a plus size style at all. I'm a size 1, so I can't imagine how this could fit a plus size girl!! Tracie from Shenandoah Junction, WV, US

I love this corset it just barely is low enough for my wedding dress. I like how it fits but my only fault is I think I need bigger cups. I'm a 40DDD normally and I got a 42DD trying to follow the instructions.. I'm not sure if I got it right but it'll work. for my big day this August. Overall I'm happy with it. :) Amanda from Kentucky

I ordered this for my wedding dress because I have a low cut v back dress and I needed something that would support me and this bra is absolutely amazing. It also helped smooth out the tummy area. I wear a 38 DD so this bra is true to size. Angie from Altadena

So I had not followed everyone's suggestion for the smaller cup size and larger band- I ordered my normal size of 36DD. The cups fit nicely but the hips were wayyyyyy to large. It did not pull me in, it wasn't tight at all like a 'corset' was supposed to be. I could actually spin around in it if I wanted. The upper part of the corset was tight though. But I needed a smaller band size so I ordered a 34DDD. It fits like a glove. Now, people are saying that the upper part of the corset is too tight for them- in the 34DDD upper part on the tightest setting, yes it was too tight for me, so all I had to do for it to fit me perfectly was put the clasps on the last [largest] setting for the last few clasps. All the others I had on the tightest setting. And vwa la! I am giving it 4/5 stars because I just WISH there would be a bridal bustier that would actually provide maximum lift. Throw some extra padding underneath the cup so it really pushes up the breast! Just a sliver! It provides OK lift...I am extremely picky with my tats and really do enjoy this bustier. It fit and felt great. I didn't feel like I had to keep pulling up the ladies. Unfortunately I had to return it because the back did not go low enough for my dress. However, knowing how it fit me I would not hesitate purchasing it again in the future. Mel from MN

So glad I found this site! This corset is perfect for my wedding dress. I love that it's long enough to cover down to my hips and dips low enough in back to not show under my gown. Highly recommend this item! Sarah

This was the bra I found to wear under my wedding dress! I literally ordered every longline bra (with a lower "V" back) on this website in a panic that I wouldn't find a bra to support me on my big day. My chest size is usually 32 DDD or 32F but most longlines do not make 32 band with larger cups. I moved up to 34 band sizes to have more choices and it was completely fine- they fit better and did not create back fat like 32 bands did. You have to remember these longline bras don't just go around your bra line but your entire back so it is a different fit. The 34 DDD was too big in the cups, so I returned and the 34 DD fit perfect! So I went up a band size and down cup size. It does not have too much padding, but it is also not too little padding for needed support. It lifts but doesn't create the bulge over effect. It is very flattering under my dress and holds them up right where they should be! If you are large chested, this is the bra for you! Sarah from Mississippi

I bought this bustier to wear under my wedding gown. I love the support the long-line and mild boning offer. Sadly I had to return it because the back came up too high for my dress. But other than that I would highly recommend it. Katie from Hayward, CA

I am getting married this month and my gown is strapless, so I ordered the Va Bien Full Figure Longline Bustier Bra 513. I read some of the reviews on this site prior to ordering, so I was a bit hesitant. Skepticism aside, I placed my order using my regular bra size of 40D. I am so thrilled that I ordered this item that I did a little happy dance after I tried it on!!!! As an added bonus, it was delivered 3 days earlier than UPS had posted was my expected delivery date. I will definitely order from Her Room again and I'm surely recommending this site to every woman I know and hope that they are as pleased as I am:) Shamyra J from Dothan, AL

I'm usually a 36d with a sister size of 38c but had to go up to a 40b on this one. Once it came in it fits beautifully, to my hips(I'm 5' 7") which is exactly what I was looking for. The boning feels solid and the material is high quality and feels secure. I would recommend this item . Jessica from Ga.

I was told I needed a strapless bra for my wedding dress even though it already has a built in bra and boning. because I am too "top heavy" and it was not supporting as I thought it would. Needless to say, this Longline Bustier is perfect. I did not need to go down a bra size either. Bennie from Wilkes-Barre. PA, USA

This bra fits very well, although I feel like my breasts are quite higher that they usually are, which is odd as the cups appear bigger to the ones I have at home. I had also ordered the 38DD but those cups were much too large for me. The bra will be used under my wedding dress in September, which has its own shape, so I'm not too worried about the unusual latitude of the ladies. Great price, good fit! 5'5 155lbs. 30 years old. This item is kind of unfairly named "full-figured." I'm 5'8'' and am definitely not what you would call fat at all. However, this is the PERFECT bustier if you are tall and have a long torso and just need a tiiiiiny bit of help through your hips. I've been searching for months for the perfect bustier to wear under my wedding dress, but have continually come across the problem that none of them were long enough and all cut off above my hips at a bad place. This sits perfectly on the hips and gives that little bit of extra help for the love handles. And it doesn't roll up when you sit down, which is often also a problem. I second ordering it down a cup size and up a band size. So happy with this purchase! Liz from Kansas City, MO

I recently purchase this item for my matron-of-honor dress. I followed the advice for sizing (up one number size, down a cup size) and it fit perfectly! I wore it for almost 10 hours the day of the wedding and wasn't uncomfortable at all! It held me in and had great support. I would definitely recommend this product. Elizabeth from Camby, IN

I ordered this piece for my sisters up coming wedding. I just got back from holiday and tried it on. It said to order small. I normally wear a 42DD but fit into a 42DDD So I figured a 42DD was a smaller order for what I should wear. When I tried it on yesterday it would not even come close to closing. That was ordering small. So what I am assuming is I need a 44DD. Now I am scared to re-order as if it may not arrive in time for the wedding. The product was what I expected. If your looking for a long boost then this is the coverage you would want. I am a taller woman a heavier build but very shapely. I am not sure why a 42DD didn't fit around me? So Today I will go thru the hassle of sending it back and hoping the 44DD will fit and arrive in time for the wedding. Overall I am disappointed in how they say to order small when really I have to order bigger. Crystal from maine usa

I followed the advice of other reviewers & the size chart and ordered a size up, a cup down (I'm usually a 36DD and bought a 38D) in the ivory. Unfortunately the top 3 or 4 clasps didn't fit. I have since ordered the 40D (two sizes up, one cup size down) and it fits beautifully. I love that it sucks me in, but it's still comfortable when I sit and on my back. I'm wearing this under my strapless wedding gown and it's really comfortable & supportive all around. I did have to buy a few, but maybe the other one (38D) will fit in 4 months after I've lost more weight before the wedding. Better to be safe than sorry! I would highly recommend this product to petite, but "curvy" brides (I'm a size 8-10 in pants). Flattering, comfortable & beautifully bridal looking:) Valerie from Sunnyval, CA, USA

I am 5'4 and weigh 130 lbs. I ordered my size based on the size chart offered on this website and it worked out perfect! I bought it in cream to wear under my wedding dress and the back is going to be just low enough (but even if not, the brial alteration place could make adjustments). Tummy control was my top priority and this one offered the most control out of the 4 different bustiers I tried on. Jenny from Berkeley, CA

I bought this garment for my wedding; I am very pleased with the fit and feel of the garment. I was having a problem getting my dress to zip the last few inches but this bustier eliminate the problem. The boning does not bend while wearing; it stays in place even while sitting. I followed the advice and ordered smaller cup and wider. It fits, but I seem to overflow a little on the sides. I took the tags off and wore its few days later to get my wedding dress. That's when the wires then bends in and hurt my side on one side and bulged out on the other. I did not like this bra at all. I was even measured when I got my dress and I am 36in. I did not like this bra and am not wearing it when I get married. I wore it to try my dress on and that was horrible. It pushed up some skin that bulged on my back, I was overflowing in the breast area and it was horrible for me. I have a little tummy so I guess its not for me at all. Nice quality, but did not fit correctly. I'm tall (6'1") and the Bustier Bra fit very short waisted. My normal bra size is 40DD, and this was very tight through the bra area and very loose with no support around the bottom of the bra. This very well might be because of my height. I have returned product for refund. I was going to wear under my wedding dress, but have since decided to go another route. Acc from GA

The product is excellent- love it! Would have given five stars if not for sizing issues. I normally wear a 32D...but read other reviews and ordered a 34D...which was too big. The 32C is great, but cup size is too small. Should've trusted my instincts and ordered my actual size! Returning both sizes in exchange for a 32D - which I have no doubt will fit perfectly! Very pretty bra. I am normally a 40DDD and I ordered that size first, it was too small in the band. I ordered 42DD following the advice of the site, but that was also too small in the band. It does not have a lot of give or stretch to it.

Va Bien Response: Perhaps you are not used to wearing bustiers, and did not care for the firm fit. While this style is very comfortable, it is indeed fabricated with rigid satin panels, which tuck in the midsection to create an hourglass figure. Kim from Ohio

Wonderfully supportive! The cups are nicely shaped to give a smoother line which I prefer over the more bullet or cone shaped cups. FANTASTIC!! I'm right on the border between average and petite, (5'4") with a bit of a tummy, and was looking for something to wear under a clingy bridesmaid dress.. Incredibly comfortable all day, and no jiggling or unsightly popping out anywhere! Anyone under 5'4" should heed the advice of the site though-- if I wasn't long in the torso, the boning would have been misaligned (I had great posture all day because slouching led to poking, which was actually great because I looked confident and slim in all the pictures!) but for busty gals, this is perfect! Both of the items I ordered exceeded my expectations. I have always loved Goddess Bras and HerRoom Lingerie is a great company to purchase them from. They kept me updated on the expected delivery date and were quick to ship my items to me as soon as they became available. My bras are comfortable and fit GREAT! The suggestion by HerRoom was definitely wrong- they said to get a size smaller given my body shape but it didn't even fit! There was no way I could make this work so I had to return it. It cost me $11 (in shipping) to try on a bustier bra that didn't fit. Disappointing. SB from Boston

I followed the advice to go up a band size and down a cup size, and ordered the cream color. I would have preferred a beige, something closer to the tone of my flesh, but there was no such option. I was not happy with the garment color--sickly shade of cream. It fit fine in the torso/waist area and gave a good shape there. Problem was the cups. There was a gap between my girls and the cups themselves; the garment stood away from my chest at that point. No matter of fiddling and adjusting would make it work. The real deal-breaker, though, was the fabric lining the cups. Scratchy, foam-like. No way I could make it through a wedding in hot weather with that up against the gals. So, it's going back. Still looking for the longline bra or bustier to wear under my dress. I'm usually a 38 C.

Vabien Response: I believe you ordered the wrong size; the cups are too large. We would suggest that you measure herself to confirm your true bra size. It sounds like you are a 38B rather than 38C. Regarding the lining inside the cups, most customers do not find it to be scratchy. In fact, many bridal bustier manufacturers do not place any lining at all inside their cups. I am very small in the torso, long and I also have big, heavy boobs. This bra is made with excellent quality. The fit is terrific. I wear it daily and it helps distribute the weight of the boobs so that my back doesn't get tired and I can stand up straight. Good Job!!!! My only wish is that this style came in a front closing so that I would not need a dresser to get in and out of it. (I have tried other long line brands and they do not fit me properly in the torso) jyoti from portland or usa

I am 5'2", 135 lbs. I ordered the bustier in a 34DD, which is my normal bra size. It's fits very comfortably and gives me plenty of coverage and support. I bought it to wear under my wedding dress, and it doesn't show above my dress line at all. I'm very happy with this purchase. Stacey from PA

I liked the length of this bra (it fell just below my hips) and I loved how it stayed in place no matter how vigorously I moved around. I did not like the cups. They looked like they were stuffed with cheap foam and were weirdly shaped. Also, the boning showed through my wedding dress even though my dress isn't very tight. Definitely returning. I'm looking for garments to wear under a dress. After reading the comments I decided to go up a band size but keep my regular cup size. I got it and tried it on and it was HUGE. So I'm exchanging for my actual size, 36B. Hopefully this will work out and I can rate it a 5. Monica from Ohio

It was very tight at the top so tight it was not flattering but very loose at the bottom. It did come with clear plastic straps also which would be nice.

Vabien Response: A bustier might not work with your silhouette, try a long line such as VaBien 506 in 40DD if the cup 38DDD (not the band) was ok, paired with a high waist shape piece. Diane from Sanger, CA, USA

LOVED this long line. I had tried my wedding dress on with one of the David's Bridal long lines and it was riding up within an hour of me trying on dresses. This one didn't move. I did have to supplement with some silicone enhancers, but I wouldn't have had it any other way. I wore my dress for over 12 hours and was still comfortable when it was time to take it all off! Would highly recommend it! And yes, I do agree with the one strap size up and one cup size smaller. It really does make all the difference! Catherine from DeKalb, IL, USA

I ordered my actual size and a size larger on the band and smaller on the cup and neither one fit. The larger band was actually about 4 inches too small but the smaller cup did fit. I was looking forward to having a great fitting corset for my wedding and am extremely disappointed in the garment.

VaBien Response: Regarding the garment, if the smaller cup fit but the band was still too small, we suggest stepping up one more size in the band and down one more in the cup. This should result in an accurate fit. So, instead of a 40D go to a 42C. elizabeth from Charleston SC

This product fits very poorly. I deliberately positioned my breast inside the cup. But after 1 or 2 movements, the bra re-positions itself where the cup rises to the nipple and the breasts are unsupported. Additionally, I purchased this long line bra to hold in my belly and love handles. Instead, the bones on the side bulged out like a Christmas Tree skirt. It's pitiful and sad that 'no' under garment can be found to help craft a waistline free of oompaloompa jelly rolls. It's more cost effective to remain Ms. Bulgee-belly without purchasing a $50. I've found in nearly impossible in the past to find anything that could hold up my large chest. After reading other reviews, I decided to give this Bustier Bra a shot. The Bra definitely gives great support (I wear a 40DDD). As suggested, I ordered a band size bigger and cup size smaller, definitely worked well. The entire garment is comfortable, and I don't feel as if I'm suffocating. My only problem is that you can see the wiring slightly through my dress, so I would watch for that if you have a smooth dress. Overall, I love it and I'm VERY happy with my selection! I bought this for my wedding in 3 weeks. I am normally a 34DDD, but when I received it, the top of the corset was too small and I didn't have enough cup room. I returned it last week(refund already processed!) and bought a 36DDD on Wednesday. It arrived yesterday, ground shipping, just in time for my fitting last night. The seamstress commented on how perfectly it fit and how good it looked. I am thrilled with it! It has firm control, so you will want to get used to wearing it- breathing is more shallow and I got lightheaded while standing for so long. Get a band size bigger at least. I needed the same cup size with a bigger band. Fit couldn't be better! Liz from Minnesota

So far, so good - bought to wear under a wedding gown in July. Very supportive all around, and the cups are not strangely pointy or lumpy even though they're not the "smooth" kind. Excellent product, perfect support, doesn't show under the dress! As a 40DD, I took the advice of others and ordered the bra one size up, but downsized the cups. It fits perfectly! I was concerned that it wouldn't be supportive enough, but it's excellent! Unfortunately, though it came up under the "low back" filter on the website, it's not quite low enough for the bridesmaid dress I'm wearing, so I'll have to save it for another occasion, and figure out some other high-support low-back plan for this wedding. I ordered two others to try and also didn't like them either, so now I'm 22 days away from my big day with no solution AND I have to dish out even more money because my returns (the first one & the second one) STILL haven't been entered into the system! This bustier bra is awesome! I was planning on wearing a strapless bra and Spanx under my wedding dress, but decided that I would really like to be able to eat at my wedding! I tried it on with my dress the night that I got it. It slims your waist without squeezing it to the point of making you feel sick. It also made my bust look incredible. It didn't slip at all, even when I was jumping up and down and dancing around. I ordered my bra size and it fit fine. Overall a great product, it fits great, was comfortable and is sexy. This product is amazing. However, I had to return it due to the the lines showing through my wedding dress. I know that they are there for additional support, however, it was very noticeable under my dress. It gave amazing support and lift! If this will work with your dress, you must buy it. It lifted my large breasts nicely and gave them a very sexy shape. My future husband was trying every idea he could think of to make this work, lol. Nonetheless, I'm sad that it didn't. Love this bra. After reading others comments on the fit I ordered a size up and a cup down and it fits me very well. I was measured to be a 38DDD or G european. So I ordered a 40 DD in the bra and it fits very well. I usually wear a 14 pant, if that helps anyone else deciding on the fit. This bra has amazing support. It holds me up very well and looks sexy. The only issue I have is the sides come up a little more than my strapless wedding dress and show. I am just going to fold them down a little and it should be fine. There is no way to find another bra that will be perfect. This is a as close as I'm going to get with my size. Overall I would recommend to the the ladies with larger bust. Amie from Houston

Very uncomfortable. It does slim you down though. The cups aren't very supportive. The metal on the cups pushes your breasts up- maybe too much. I look like I'm suffocating. I will have to make it work because its the second one I ordered. It is very tight definitely size up and maybe size down one on cup. Wish I could return and be measured and get something more comfortable. I just want my special day to be a comfortable one, but I already threw everything away and have wore it 2 times to try it out and try to adjust to it, but its just too uncomfortable. Don't know what I'll do but I do know I wont order clothes, underwear or anything through the internet that has to be tried on anymore. Just one more stress to all the wedding planning.

Va Bien Response: Sounds like you are not used to wearing an underwire bra – or certainly not a bustier. The spiral boning in 513 provides great flexibility and comfort during wear, compared to other bustiers on the market, many of which use plastic bones. The underwires in the cups help lift and support the bust – which is something brides typically desire for their big day. Johannys from Lancaster, PA

This was beautiful. I normally wear a 40B, and ordered a size up in the long line at the suggestion of previous reviewers. The cups on the 42 B were probably a full cup size too large for me....so large, in fact, that I'm not sure the 40b would have been small enough either. I have the worst trouble finding a bra to wear, it has been the story of my life since I developed breasts. I wear sports bras everyday - one specific style/brand - because it's the only thing that provides support and I don't bulge out of. My biggest issue is the bulging. I've been measured many times as a 36DD, but always seem to pop out of everything. I can never shop in places like lingerie stores in the malls because nothing ever fits properly. That being said, I like this product because it actually fits and provides support. It also looks beautiful. I ordered a different model from this site and it fit OK. It was also hideous looking. So I was glad that this product not only fit, but is really beautiful, which is what you want for under a wedding dress. Also, the clear strap worked great. I'm using it as a halter, which means there's an extra strap to use if something happens with the first one. Always nice to have a backup. The one big issue with the product - which I think one other review mentioned - the boning underneath each breast buckles, or bends. This makes me nervous. I'm afraid it will show through the dress and afraid the support will fade as time goes on. But if it supports me for one day, that's all that matters. I won't be trying it on with the dress until my first fitting, which is a month away. BrideToBe from Philadelphia, PA

Beautiful garment! I usually wear a 42DD, but all of the DD bras I tried on at the wedding gown shops had too large of cups. So, I decided to go for a smaller cup and found this. The cup size is perfect. The bust size was not. It would barely close at the top and the bottom was pretty lose (probably because it wasn't nearly as long on me as the model). I bought a bra extender for the top 3 clasps, and voila!. It was a great fit. I would still like for it to be a little longer, but it does the job and my gown looks gorgeous with it. All in all, I'm very pleased. Candice from Plano, TX 75023

I was very disappointed with this product upon receiving it. It was very well made, but not true to size. I had a 6" gap in the back, therefore, I was unable to clasp the garment while wearing it.

VaBien Response:When ordering a bustier, we suggest that you take your body shape into consideration. Remember that your traditional bra band size measures the circumference around your upper back, and that bra backs are usually stretchy. A bustier however runs all the way down to your hips, and is often made of rigid fabric. Therefore if you have a pear-shaped silhouette, you may experience tightness in the garment when ordering your traditional bra size. In such cases it is best to size up in the band size to accommodate your silhouette, while also sizing down in the cup size (because if you size up in the band, the cup of that garment is graded larger as well – so you need to size down to make sure the cups will still fit). The bra is lovely although if I had to order it again I'd order it a size, maybe 2 smaller just to ensure that it would 'cinch' me in. This size will be very comfortable though for wearing all day long! I haven't had the chance to wear it yet - my wedding is a month away - but I'm sure this will not be a torture machine to wear! Big plus! The cups are a little on the large size too - even for a B. I'm considering putting little push up pads in the bottom of the cups. Otherwise, the bra is lovely and a great value for the price! Kathleen from Chambersburg

I liked this bra very much, but the band size ran pretty small and the cup size ran big. I was surprised about the band size because I have two other bras like this from the same brand which are big on me. It must just be the style of the bra. It would have been great if I got the next band size or two up.

VaBien Response:You are correct, it is the style of the bra. Style #513 has an extra rigid bodice, which really brings the bustier fitting tip into play of sizing up in the band and down in the cup. If your sizing point of reference is a regular bra, remember that the bra band size measures the circumference around your upper back, and that bra backs are usually stretchy. A bustier however runs all the way down to your hips, and is often made of rigid fabric. Therefore if you are not as narrow around the midsection as you are around your upper back, you may experience tightness in the garment when ordering your traditional bra size. In such cases it is best to size up in the band size to accommodate your silhouette, while also sizing down in the cup size (because if you size up in the band, the cup of that garment is graded larger as well – so you need to size down to make sure the cups will still fit). This bustier looked amazing on! I wore it under my homemade sally jupiter costume & it helped me win prizes. The cups were spot on for me and it fit comfortably snug around my waist. My only issue I had with it is that the back cut into my back fat a little bit. The cups got a little bunchy. Maybe use a different fabric so they hold form better without wrinkles? Overall I love, love, loved it! shellzvong from Orange, CA USA

I'm tall (5'10"), so my main concern was it being long enough. It goes past my natural waist, but not as far as the model in the picture. It was low enough to hold in my not too big, but still, tummy. I wish they made tall long line bras, but oh well. I also had to go one band size and down one cup size from my normal bra size. This ended up being just enough at the band, but a little loose at the waist . Overall this is a really well made bra. jennifer from texas

I have recently lost 40lbs and had no idea what bra size to even order. The online instructions for sizing were fantastic! I love this bra!!! I was looking for a strapless bra that could TAME THE GIRLS!!! I even jumped up and down, danced around, generally embarrassed my 12 year old daughter, trying to "fall out". Everything stayed in place. There was no binding, pinching or chaffing. I only wish it was a tad longer for us tall girls. I am long waisted (low rise jeans hit my natural waist line) so this stops about 2 inches short. Overall, does the job and looks good doing it. Kim from Eureka SPrings, AR, USA

Beautiful garment but where it flares out to go over the hips, is too high for my body. If I lower the garment to fit over my hips, the "flare" won't appear as 'baggy' but then the cups are too low on my chest. I need something longer. Lovely material, top fits nice and cups hold my breast forms nicely, just too short for me. Allison from Calif

I absolutely love this bra! I ordered it in my actual bra size and it fits perfectly! I am rather large chested, and quite frankly...I have never seen my girls up so high! They are well lifted and feel incredibly secure. The cups provide enough coverage that you feel secure, but not so much that you feel like you are in an "old lady bra". Also note, the back is higher than most bustiers that I have seen. It is fine with the dresses that I am wearing, but it does sit at my bra line or slightly higher. If you are looking for a lower back, this is not the bra for you. I would imagine that it is because the back is higher than most that I feel so secure, so I am definitely not complaining! I will warn that I am petite through my hips (they are almost non-existent), so if you have hips, you might want to do as suggested and order up in the band size and down in the cup size. Shannon

Don't get me wrong on the 2 stars, this is a beautiful foundation garment. Snug and the cups fit very well, though a little 'loose' at the top section, with my breast forms. The main problem was the the bottom of the garment was too loose. This would be the area where it flared to fit the hips. If I pulled the bustier down to fit around my hips, the top area was much too low for my bustline. Would love to keep it but unfortunately, I have to return it and must look for a longer length one. The material, feeling and construction is beautiful. Allison from Calif

I have so much trouble finding bras to keep my breasts up (strapless bras always fall down) so I was so very happy when I found this. I just couldn't believe how well it fits both my torso (it nicely flattens my stomach) and bust. I look forward to wearing it under my wedding dress and not having to worry about picking up my bra every 5 minutes. The only thing I didn't like is the color. I ordered Ivory and it's very yellow (not very sexy) but my dress is ivory so I don't want to wear white. I still gave this 5 stars because function is way more important than color for me. My bra size is 36C but I had to exchange the long line for a 38B to accommodate the waistline. The 38B fit correctly and comfortably on the waist. My issues are with the cups. Even with a smaller cup size the cups are shaped to sit far away from the natural bust line which makes the cups hard to fill because of the gap made. I'm going to continue working with this item because the waist line looks great but I will have to find a method to "fill" the extra room in the cups. The exchange process was simple but if you are buying a bridal item, please note the exchange/refund policy for all bridal attire. Christina

I purchased this bustier bra to wear under my wedding dress. My dress designer loved it; it was a perfect fit and very light weight. I initially ordered a 42D based on a fitting I had at a foundation shop and when I received the bra it was too large so I had to return it for the 42C. I was really very impressed with Her Room customer service; they received my return and processed my new order within two weeks. This is the perfect longline bra to go under my wedding dress! The boning is very good (I won't say perfect, because also enjoy steel-boned corsets) and the length is excellent. I'm about a size 20 with some tummy pudge and a good amount of hip. With most longline bras, my hips bulge out from the bottom, but not with this one! It also keeps my tummy under control and accentuates my hourglass without creasing in the back. K from Oklahoma City, OK, USA

Item had a decent design and looked great on the model. When it arrived to me, I thought that the satin was not the best quality (its like an acetate), and the cups were flimsy. I did order another Va Bien Garment I liked better at the same time, with a push up bra which was far superior for another few dollars. Overall I was glad the price range and selection for both bras were available. Lisa from Modesto, Ca. USA

LOVE THIS! Great shaping; the waist it gives you is beautiful, and the cup shape is perfect. Incredible support; never seen anything like it! I was doing full out jumping jacks, and hung over at the waist and tried to literally shake my boobs out, and no matter what I did they stayed in place!!! It does come up a little high in the back and under the armpits, so keep that it mind if you'll be wearing anything low. I was also afraid it wouldn't be sexy on, but it certainly was. I was able to get it on by myself in an emergency (a bustier emergency!), but it was not an ordeal I would put myself through again--have someone around to help snap up the back! Also, I had to drive 40 minutes to and back from the dress fitters, and, while it was not comfortable to sit for a long period in it, I was not in actual pain, so that's good. All in all, highly recommended! Christina from Huntington, NY

This bra was beautiful but did not provide me with the support that I needed for my heavy breasts. The cups were drooping but the bottom part of the bra held in my stomach really well. I am a 30G and have been looking for a long line to wear under my wedding gown. No one makes a 30G longline. I purchased a couple of other options before I found this one that were too high in the breast and armpit. The Va Bien is a great height on the breast and doesn't create the dreaded armpit boob. Because I bought this too big, it doesn't tack flat against my chest between the breast tissue and I will need to have it altered to be smaller around the back. The back is low enough for my dress. It is long enough to cover my stomach, creating a clean line instead of a muffin top like some of the shorter longlines do. The fabric is acceptable and it has a little bit of lace at the top to make it prettier. Overall, a good option. Meghan from Dallas, TX

Fits great. I love that it is so long - not only holds your breasts in place but also gives you great waistline, makes you feel taller and straighter. Despite all these positives I returned it - simply because I am looking for something cut a bit lower in the back. Eliza from Detroit

The quality is fabulous, but the size is too small. I normally wear between a 38C and a 40C bra. I ordered the 40C expecting to be able to use the tightest closure, but could not get the top three clasps closed on the loosest row! I am trying to decide whether or not to return it, or see if I lose enough weight to eventually wear it.

Va Bien Response: Thanks for the complement on our quality! When ordering a bustier, we suggest that you take your body shape into consideration. Remember that your traditional bra band size measures the circumference around your upper back, and that bra backs are usually stretchy. A bustier however runs all the way down to your hips, and is made of rigid fabric. The garment fits perfectly, the only problem is that the cups aren't molded quite as stiffly as I would like. There is a wrinkle where the boning ends in the cup which can be seen through the bodice of my dress, making my chest look just a little lumpy. I am going to try to iron it out. This is the best longline bra I could find, and I tried on quite a few to wear under my wedding dress. It was very supportive for my size, but didn't push me up (which I don't need). The torso portion fit well and was pretty comfortable. The only reason why it's not a 5 star is that in my normal, everday size (38DD), there was space at the top of the cups. I had to exchange for a 38D, which still isn't a perfect fit in the cups, but like I said, best one I tried! AmandaR from Cincinnati, OH, USA

Love this bra! I can't wait to wear it for my wedding in June. I originally bought a 36DD but it was too small - the 38DD fits perfectly and makes me look very va-va-voomy. I love the support it has in the cups - most bras like this will push up the breasts, but as a DD cup size I really don't need to look bigger, I just need support. This bra has all the support you could possibly want, plus the clear detachable straps will come in handy for extra comfort. Love it! Dawn from South Bend, IN

Finally, the right bra to wear under my bridal gown! I have a very hard-to-find size and I am so thankful that the cups on this bra are finally, truly, large enough for my full cup size. I have a small waist and felt that the band size was a little too large; I have to wear the bra on the smallest set of hooks. Unfortunately, there's no "30DDD" size, but I may have the band altered to be a little more snug on my wedding day. Still, this is by far the best fitting, most flattering bra I've found, and I've looked far and wide. Overall, I'm so pleased I found HerRoom and this bra. It truly has a DD cup, as advertised :) The back works perfectly with my low-back gown, and the stays are invisible under my dress. J

I did not like this item. I was uncomfortable the whole time it was on. It had no support, and the plastic in the bottom part dug into my body every time I sat and it was not because it was to small or to large. Good thing my dress fit me well and had enough support. It was a better strapless than others I have warn, but if looking to wear something for longer than 3 or 4 hours find something else.

HerRoom Response: Garments like this are always a challenge for women who are short in stature such as yourself. They are really designed for women who are 5'4" - 5'8". Shorter women should consider a longline that stops at the waist instead of going over the hips for more comfort. Also, 3/4 bras tend to be a better comfort fit for shorter women as well. amanda from jensen

Beautiful bustier! I bought this for my MOB dress. My normal bra size is 42D and I wear 18W dress. I had hoped that the 42D would fit my torso and hip area but sadly not. The bustier was just about 1/8" too small. It hooked but way too tight for a long wedding and reception so I wore my regular 42D black lace bra instead. I kept the bustier for at home experiences. It was a little tight thru the waist, but the bust was too loose and I'm typically a DDD. It provided no support. The sides were too short for me which also didn't help. I had read that someone else purchased the La Vien 1503 Ultra Lift Long Line instead. So I tried that one and it is much better. It has a little more room in the waist, gives much better lift and separation for those large chested girls, and the sides are a little higher. I think it's also better looking.

I'm pretty consistently a 40D, so I thought I was being smart when I ordered the item in a 40D and 42C, just in case. In the goddess longline, a 42C was no problem. However, with this bra it was a huge hassel to get it buttoned up. I think a front snap system may have been easier, since I was able to fasten it from the front. Unfortunately, I don't have boobs on my shoulderblades! It was also too short on me, coming down just past my belly button, not down my hips as in the picture shown. That was kind of dissapointing. I would try the next size up, but Va Bien goes no higher! Curse you! Us larger ladies need shapewear too! Shoshanna from Seattle

The first one of these I ordered in my regular strapless bra size (same band size as usual but a cup smaller than I wear w/ a regular bra). It was loose everywhere even when I was on the tightest set of hooks and provided NO support. I called a customer service rep and she said to exchange it for a 32DD, which was so tight when I got it that I could only get it hooked partway up on the last row of hooks but even only partially fastened, held me up and in place. I wish it had fit better, because of the three styles I tried, it was by far the prettiest and was the only one that the boning didn't show through my dress at all. Trish from Ferndale, CA

I purchased this item after reading all the reviews and I was very happy with my purchase. I bought it for use with a bridesmaid's dress. On first try I noticed the bust area seemed as though it might not provide a seamless look with a lightweight dress (worth a try though). My dress gathered in the chest area so it wasn't an issue. No poking, snug fit, need help putting it on, true to size. A note about the picture shown...the bustier appears to be long in length. I am short waisted and it still ended at the top of my hip allowing for a little belly bulge during movement so I would recommend a supportive panty like the one shown in the pic. But overall, this worked best. Lori from White Plains

This is a great bra, very comfortable and supportive, which can be hard to find. I originally ordered a 34DD, but I exchanged it for a 32DD because the firt one was too big around. The cup size didn't vary much at all between the two sizes. This bra has a very smoothing effect. I've looked for a while for the bra I will use under my wedding gown, and after many failures, this one is a success! N from Maine

This bustier did actually fit true to size for me. I read the other opinions first and would recommend you increase the number size (not cup size) by 1 size. It does fit very snug. The top of the cup is low enough to not show over the cup of my halter top wedding dress. I really like it! Catherine from Pleasant Grove, AL, USA

I think this is pretty true to size. I wore it the day of my fitting and it was poking me, but not any different than other one's I have worn in the past. The bridal store where my dress is loved it and asked what kind because it fit so nicely under the dress (low enough in back and nice lines where can't see through the dress). Fit really well. I was expecting it to be a little bit more snug, but it's not too big or anything. I wouldn't go down a size. It fits exactly like it should. I spent a lot of time measuring myself and I suggest anyone interested in this garment do the same. Stacey from Michigan

This bra fit really well. It didn't dig in under the arms, and it was slimming to the stomach area as well. I ordered my regular bra size, but I am exchanging it for the next size down around the ribs (32DD). Hopefully, this will not slide down as much. Julie from Maine

I felt like I was being hugged and energized all day with firm but gentle support. The stays were comfortable and the soft cups provided a very flattering lift and shape. It is the most comfortable bustier bra I have purchased, and I plan to buy another soon. Kathleen from Kansas City, MO

I love this bra! It worked perfectly under the Bride's Maid dress that I ordered it to go with. It gives good support and the ribbing was not visible at all under the dress. The size was right on for me. I am a 36C and ordered accordingly despite the advice I had seen in reviews on the site. I can't wait to wear it with some of my other dresses that require a strapless bra. It is actually even a little sexier than I had pictured. My husband enjoyed it also! Evening from Covina CA USA

After searching half of the department stores in San Antonio, and even venturing into the dreaded Victoria's Secret shops and practically being expelled from the Cirque and other "larger woman's" shops, this bustier finally did the trick by coming in MY size and, as a result, fitting beautifully. This is for my wedding next August and I wish I could wear around on a daily basis. Low enough for my strapless dress, but perfect for holding its shape when bounced up and down, sat in, etc. etc. (I've worn it through a couple of practice sessions.) Definitely causes a BIT of "back fat," but every bustier / merry window I've tried on does the same. Barely noticeable and honestly fits wonderfully. Long enough to hit the panty line on a 5'10" woman. MaryAshley from Hunt, TX, USA

Close to perfect. I'm a 32DDD with a small frame. The girls were lifted BEAUTIFULLY--very sexy. The only slight downfall is the boning right under the bust is a little uncomfortable when you sit down. I'm so happy to have found something that provides such great lift. mary from hanford/ca/usa

This bra fits really well and gives a lot of lift. I picked my normal size and that was just right. I bought it for my wedding, and it doesn't show through the dress or stick out from the top like many others. It does poke in a little bit beneath both breasts, but at least I won't be tugging it up all night! Meghan from Ohio

Do you know how hard it is to find a DDD size bustier, that is strapless and low back? Let me tell you it is extremely hard! I have been looking all over for these for my wedding dress. I found this site and was extatic! Most sites that I looked up said plus size, but they only went up to a DD, that's not plus size to me! Let me tell you, this bra is awesome. It hugs and tucks my little bit extra that I have since I do have a child, but gives me a really nice shape. And wow, does it have enough room for the girls up stairs. I love this bra and would recommend it to everyone. However, if you do have a really low back dress this bra isn't for you, since it comes to about mid-back. DDD and Me from Las Vegas, NV

I didn't realize when ordering that if you increase your band size to fit a bustier, you may need to decrease your cup size. I usually wear a 38DD in bras but have a very broad back and shoulders so needed to increase band size by quite a bit. Still wasn't quite enough and made the cups fit strange. But even so I think this garment would have had a slightly awkward/uncomfortable fit regardless of size accuracy. I exchanged mine for a different brand in 44D and the new one fits beautifully. This bustier is awesome! I needed something to wear under a strapless bridesmaid dress, and at a 38D, I needed some definite support! It is longer than most, which makes the break between my bustier and my shapewear panties undetectable. The back is cut a little low, which encourages a little muffin top for me. I'm usually a 38D, but after reading reviews and sizing chart, I went with a 40C...perfect. Jen from Willows, CA

i am normally a 38B, so i ordered a 38B. i love the way it fit on the midsection, really slimmed out the belly area so it will look great under a dress i have to wear in a wedding, but the cups were way too big. i will have to get "chicken cutlets" to boost me in that area, but overall i am pretty satisfied with the fit, other than in the cup size. vikki from michigan

I gave this a three star for a few reasons. Although, I will be keeping the bra due to a time crunch and it fits the bill it is not the bra I would have kept had I more time to shop around. The long line portion of it is very good quality and supportive. It's the cup size that is strange. It's big and small all in the same breath. I normally wear a 38DD but ordered the size recommended after I measured myself. I also ordered the bigger size since most reviews said this bra was on the smaller side. So, ordering this bra on-line just supports my thought that a bra of this nature needs to be tried on in the store but since I had little time it works. Jul from PA

I was really worried about buying a bustier online, without trying it on first; especially since it's for my wedding! I'm very long waisted and the bustier I bought prior to this one just would NOT work. This bustier got such rave reviews from everyone I decided to give it a try. I am so glad I did! I'm wearing this with my wedding gown. I tried several similar things, but this one provided by far the most firm shaping without being painful. I wish the back were a little lower - if the back of your dress is low, this may not work. I'm having my seamstress add snaps so it will attach on the back to my gown so it won't show as I move around. It's smooth and provides great support. Ashley from IL

This bustier is the first one I've tried that actually came close to delivering what they promised! My wedding is only a few weeks away and I've tried so many bustier's I cannot count them anymore. Though not quite big enough for my breasts, it fits everywhere else *perfectly*!!! I have a semi-low back corset-top wedding dress and needed a strapless bra to keep me from falling out of the top of the dress. This has a low enough front and back that it doesn't poke out the top of the dress. Thank you for helping me *FINALLY* getting what I needed. I should have come here first. Now that I know, I will be coming here first, every time. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! Jimi from Kentucky

I ordered 6 different corsets online to try under my wedding dress. This was the one out of 2 that actually delivered what it promised. Great support, quality fabric and construction, and a good price. The reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars is because although it is the one that fit the best, it was also the most plain. It could be a little more decorative and sexy looking because it's almost impossible to find a sexy, decorative corset in a 40DD. Jordan from Stoughton, MA

Although the quality and design are great, the size was not what I expected. I have tried on this size in many other models/brands and it fits fine. This 40C was smaller than most. I had to return it for another size. They seem to run about 1 size small. Other than that, this does exactly what it promises! Liz from San Francisco, CA

This is a nice bra, but does not work for my halter style wedding dress because the center between the cups show. May also want to be careful about the center boning that comes down the front. It showed thru on my gown. I will use this bra with a strapless bridesmaid dress. Diana from Virginia

It is a beautiful garment, but it was too small, even though the measurement under my bustline is 42.

HerRoom Response: If you have an under-bust measurement of 42, you need to add 4" to get your correct band size. Therefore, you would be a band size 46.

I purchased this bra to wear underneath my wedding gown. I was very pleased with the fit of the cups and torso. The fabric is pretty comfortable too. It is a great strapless bra for curvy girls with a larger chest...I feel secure wearing it, and I will probably wear it under other strapless shirts and dresses. Ashley from Auburn, AL, USA

I have to agree with the reviewer who said it did not fit at all, except in the bust. I, too, was very disappointed. Herroom's response describing the difference between "full figure" and "plus-size" does not explain the poor fit. I know I am plus-sized and carefully chose the filters to apply to my search so that I would be given a choice of garments that are designed for plus-sized women. I began my search first choosing the Plus Size tab, then selecting the quick link for "plus-size by size", then selecting my bra size. If this is not a plus-sized garment it should not have appeared using these filters. In fact, I ordered several longline strapless garments resulting from that search and although they all fit wonderfully in the bust, not one of them would close around my middle.

HerRoom Response:Longline bras are always a challenge for plus size women. The manufacturer selects a bust size, then determines what the most common waist size will be and makes the garment accordingly. If your waist is considerably large, there really is no long line bra on the market that accomodates you. One solution would be to wear a bra and a piece of shapewear.

I am not apple shaped, I am square shaped. My middle is not larger than my bust or hips, it is narrower by 10 inches. I have measured myself carefully several times using the instructions on this website and looking in the mirror to be sure the tape was straight. Regular bras I've ordered from this site in the same size fit me well. I will continue my search for a long line strapless I can wear as Mother of the Bride, but I no longer hold much hope of finding something that fits and supports my bust properly and also closes around my middle. Debbie from Maryland

Finally a strapless bra that supports large breasts!! I bought this to go under my halter top style wedding dress and it looks great. It would be nice if they cut it about 1 inch lower at the back, but I was able to pin my dress to the bra so it did not show. My dress had an extra low back so getting a strapless bra was hard, but this one fit the bill. Cup size was accurate, but I did have to go up from a 38 to a 40 to get the right fit. Both my brides maids who are a 36D and a 36DD ordered the same bra once they saw mine. They love their bras too. Vicky from Chandler, AZ, USA

I was so disappointed! I came to Herroom.com to purchase a strapless, low-back body shaper to wear under a Mother-of-the-Groom dress and I read the advice that suggested a long-line bra instead if you are big busted. I purchased the 42DD longline and it was pretty but did not fit at all. It might fit a small person but not a larger person and it's definitely not "full figure". It's "full bust" only. I will be returning it. If you're going to advertise full figure bras, you should use full figure models.

HerRoom Response: We are sorry that this item didn't fit you. At HerRoom we use the terms "full figure" and "plus size" very carefully. Full figure means bra sizes larger than a D cup. A full figure woman has full breasts. Plus size means breasts larger than a D AND panty sizing larger than a 9. A plus size woman has full breasts and more "meat" on her bones.

This bustier did not fit my needs at all. I am a 38DD with a very slim waist. it was like wearing an upside down umbrella. The cups ended up being way too big even though I'm practically busting out of my DD bras, and the bottom did not fit like in the photo. It was HUGE!! Definitely NOT worth the money that they ask for!

HerRoom Response: It sounds like you could successfully go down a size or 2 in this garment.

I must have tried on 30 different strapless bras before I found this one - and it is WONDERFUL. I actually felt pretty secure, and it gave me a natural look under my dress (no pointy cups!). Wow! This bustier is awesome. I desperately needed one in black with a very low back to wear with a formal gown. This one was perfect! I really like that it's long- the length is at the hips- the longline bras that end above the waist leave a weird ridge. The cups are seamless. Comes with long garter straps and clear shoulder straps. Very supportive. Unbelievable low price! If you are well endowed and need to wear a strapless or low backed dress, this is your bra! I tried three different bras for a strapless bridesmaid dress and this one is amazing. The others were too tight or not supportive but this one is great. I am a size 8-10 and this fit perfectly. It gave me a nice smooth line under the dress and the cups have boning in them which makes them very supportive. AMF from Baltimore, Md
