Just beautiful! I can’t wait to wear it under my wedding dress, I had my fiancé button it for me and it’s perfect. I’m glad I listened to the other reviews, to go a cup size smaller

This bra is going to work out well for me. The suggestion of increasing the band by one size and reducing the cup by one size is very helpful. Before the Va Bien Ultra Lift, I had tried two other similar styles with no luck in fit. I am not exactly looking forward to having it on an entire evening, but I will be able to wear the dress that I bought for the occasion!

I read a lot of reviews before deciding on this and purchasing. I usually wear a 36C bra and ordered a band size up and cup size down as suggested by others which was good advice because it fit well. I have an hourglass figure with a bit of a pooch belly that I was attempting to hide and this was for under a wedding dress. The problem is the boning in this item, although covered by a layer of material shows through a more sheer type fit and flare dress so you could totally see the outline of it which was not acceptable. I needed something to smooth not make more bumps. It did provide support for chest and pulled in stomach but the boning is too hard and I can't see it being that comfortable. I sent it back. :-/

This is literally the first strapless bra I've ever worn that was comfortable... and I NEVER had to pull it up. It was perfect for my wedding, worth the cost. For reference, I am 5'9", 170lbs, normal bra size 36DDD, dress size 14, and I purchased a 38DD in this bra. It fit perfectly and added no bulk under my dress. I do recommend to size up the band size and down a cup size.

Bought this to go under my high school daughter's final ball dress. The dress has mesh cutouts and she is an unusual size. Dress size 5, but a 34DD bust. I've been to every department store in the area and even tried bridal shops to find the right undergarment for this dress. This item was supportive throughout the evening, fit her tiny waist and was not uncomfortable. She complained about the shoes, but that's another story. Arrived VERY fast (paid for expedited shipping) and nicely packaged. I would use again in a heartbeat.

ALWAYS order this item a band size bigger and a cup size smaller. The difference in band size is excruciatingly significant.....like, not even able to close one hook versus able to close hooks on middle setting. Very comfortable. Flattens the tummy like a wonder, but not AS MUCH control on the side muffins. Invisible ribs make sure lines are not shown through your dress!

Cup sizing true to size, however I agree with the other comments, to order up in the band sizing, since I also ordered a 36 band and that bodice was waaay too snug (and that is my typical band size).

This is the one to get if you need a long line. Wearing it under my strapless wedding gown. I wear a 36B bra, and I bought the 38B boustier. Perfect! I'm 5'6" 150 lbs. There are three rows of hooks. The middle row is very comfortable and does the job, but can go even tighter in the last hook and still be comfy.

My general bra size is 32G, but based on other reviews and Tomima's recommendation, I ordered 34DDD. The band fits a little small with the 13 hooks in the back, so, I don't hook the top 3. The cups fit okay. Pros: it is very smooth in the front, which looks great under clothes. The bottom does not ride up and the cups do not fold over. Cons: you have to be a contortionist to fasten the 13 hooks in the back. However, once you have it on, it looks very nice and works well.

Wow this runs REALLY SMALL! I'm normally a 34DDD, I ordered up a band size and down a cup size as recommended but it still had a good inch to go before even the largest hooks would touch. Maybe the sizing needs to be adjusted for this one? Otherwise I liked the style, it has great boning and feels like a quality product but I'm disappointed the sizing was so off. (CUP size was perfect FYI)

I'm in love with this item! I bought this to wear under my wedding dress. I brought the bra with me to my first wedding dress fitting and it was PERFECT. My dress has a sweetheart neckline and this item was low enough to hide, but still provided great coverage! Definitely recommend going up a band size, and down a cup size (I actually had to go down 2 cup sizes). I normally wear a 38D. I purchased a 40C the first time, but it was still too big in the cup. Luckily, I was able to exchange the item with no hassle. The nice thing about this bra is that it doesn't ride up when you sit down. It's long enough that it stays in place. HIGHLY recommend for brides.

Very comfortable in my trial run on Valentine's day. It stayed in place for the most part and gave me lift, but it also pierced my back fat so I'm working on that area in my work outs. I also need to make sure this doesn't show in my dress which is my concern.

This longline strapless bra is everything I needed! It's supportive and fits so nicely. It shapes my body well. I recently purchased a regular strapless bra - size 34DDD -- so I followed the reviews and ordered 1 band size up, 1 cup size down, so a 36DD. It's amazing! I'm in a wedding this week and the seamstress who hemmed my dress suggested this website. When I went for my final fitting, she suggested for me to hook the bra on the loosest and then go tighter to follow my body shape, like a corset - amazing! I'm officially in love because it's super hard to find good garments that fit right.

As for the product itself, I'm greatly disappointed with the cups size - I did order as recommended -- one size down for the cups and one size up for the band. My normal size is most often a C cup. What I received doesn't have "cups" but rather "soup bowls"... They are too wide, they start too far from the sides and too low down -- my breasts get lost inside. Forget about any "lifting effect". Turns out this product is only for women with bigger breasts. Although, the bodice fits my torso right on the loosest hook. Generally a good quality product, great in conception, quite bad in sizing. Probably the only positive thing about my purchase was the fast international delivery.

I ordered this to wear for my son's wedding. As soon as I tried it on, I couldn't even move or breathe in it standing up let alone sitting down. Boning is very restrictive. I didn't end up wearing it longer than just trying it on. I liked the way the fabric felt, very comfortable, but the cup size was a size too big and the band size was as well. The length of it could probably be 1-2 inches longer for tall women, I'm 5'11" and when I bent at the waist, it scrunched back up over my hips. It also didn't feel like there was much support, as far as sucking you in. I'm about 175lbs....post baby, but was a size 4 pre pregnancy, so I was looking for something to suck in my tummy and the extra fat that's sticking around on my hips.

Haven't gotten to wear this for a full evening yet, but the try-on seemed ok. As comfortable as you would imagine being squeezed into a sausage casing would be. As recommended, I went up a band size and down a cup size. The boning doesn't dig into my hips like some of the other ones I tried on and it doesn't bow out when I sit, so all in all, does the job as comfortably as possible!

I wanted a bustier that was longer than the one that I had, I was looking for a new one that would sit below my low waisted jeans. Based on the descrlption, that the length of this bustier is 13" tall, which is long for a bustier. This one fits well beneath my waistband! Made well & quality material. Love this & would recommend to anyone!

This bra is very supportive and does not "add" extra to what I already have, but it does lift the girls and hold them! I am probably more of a 32DD in size, but the 32 would have been too tight around my rib cage and stomach. So I sized up the band and down in the cup and this seemed to work well. It's comfortable for a corset/bustier and the length is good. It covers my iliac crest bone (top hip bone) so there are no tummy fat lumps under my dress.
To help you other shoppers, my measurements are 37.5" bust; 30.5" under bust; 29" waist; and 39" hips. I weigh 140lbs. I'm 5'6" tall.
This is overall a good piece! I wish it were a bit less expensive, but it does the job well.

I listened to the videos of the Va Bien Ultra Lift Longline Bustier and ordered according to the recommendations on size. I am a 40DD so I ordered a 42D. The bustier was so small in the back, I couldn't even hook the first hook. I was also hanging out of my cup. My recommendation for this item is if you have any weight in your front or back, size up more than one size and buy the extender. If you are thin, you can probably only have to size up one size. Bottom line - it runs small and the cups don't hug the body like they do in the picture. I was hoping those magic fingers would wrap around the breast rather then just sit above the bustier. This is not a great bustier for curvy women.

Overall, not bad, but the cup size and shape were not as I pictured. The cup angled down and was not rounded. I first ordered this item in a 34DDD because I normally take a 32G. The 34 was too small around back. The 36 is fine, but the cup doesn't work.

I followed the recommendations and originally ordered a 40D (I typically wear 38DD), but I could barely get it closed, so I returned it and got a 42D , it's actually a tad loose , but it'll work. I wore it all day to make sure I could stand it because I can't tolerate most strapless bras for more than an hour. It was fairly comfortable. I find it interesting that it came with plastic straps but no cloth straps. Also, the replacement was clearly another return, the tissue paper was crinkled and the bustier wasn't placed as neatly in the box as the first one I got

Excellent fit. Be true to your size. I comfortably wear a 36B normally. No bulging or squeezing into it. I ordered a 38B, and it fits perfectly. It has 3 rows of hooks along the back for adjustment inward or outward; however, the 38 fits using the last (outward) row of hooks. So, if you normally wear a 38, this will be too small. I am a regular/medium size B, and it fits just fine. If you're closer to an A cup, then this will be too big. It extends past my navel & stomach. It is stable and does not roll upward. It also stays in place. Great firm support! Note: If you are not true to your real bra size, this one will let you know, when you order. The ordering suggestion was correct: Go up a bra size and down a cup size for most women larger than a B cup. This is my first time ordering a bra on-line and was really concerned about the fit and support I needed for my wedding dress. I'm glad I did. I hope my comments are helpful.

I'm a busty girl with a smaller frame. I was hoping to get something with more support than what this bra gives. Though the belly control is ok, I think it is just average. I ordered this item to wear under a strapless dress at an upcoming wedding. I'm undecided on whether to return it or not. It looks ok under my dress, but the corset is shorter than I would like (I'm 5'9) and I find the cups are widely set. It feels stable, but doesn't quite give the lift I was looking for, and I think it makes my chest look really wide. I'm not sure it's any better than my strapless bra at keeping things where I want them.

The corset is well made and the perfect length for my long torso. I have yet to try it on with my wedding dress as I just received it today. I followed the suggested sizing guidelines of ordering up a band size and down a cup size (normally wear 34 C) however the band is a little loose. Cup size fits great but I may return for a 34B to get the level of control that I want. I'm 5'9 and 140 lbs if that helps anyone!

I usually wear a 34E and this bra fits perfectly up a band size and down a cup size. While it isn't the prettiest corset out there, it gives a great shape in the cup and while it's supportive and slimming through the waist, it isn't uncomfortable at all. My wedding dress looks fantastic and the fitter thought it was a perfect solution - we tried on six different options and this was the clear winner.

For a strapless bra, I'm very impressed on how well it holds everything in place. Also, I'm very curvy and it goes over the hip and smooths things out, no bulging lumps noted. As with any corset bra it's not comfortable to sit in, but forces you to have very good posture.

The fix is awesome. It really lifts your bosom! I especially like that it is lower in the back because my garment dips in the back and I didn't want the bra to show. I did remove one of the stays (in the front) because it pokes out when you are sitting. It didn't affect the fit (plus I can put it back in if I need to). The other nice thing about this bustier is you can't feel it through your clothes. You won't have to worry about someone touching you and being able to feel your "girdle" underneath. I'm wearing it with a fitted, strapless dress and it provides me with a narrow waist and perky bosom!

I agree with the other reviews, it's a must to follow the sizing guidlines, otherwise I would have ordered the wrong size. I bought this to wear under my gown for my upcoming wedding. My only concern once I first put it on was the boning in the back felt to snug like it was nudging at me but after a lil bit it got more comfortable. I think it is just the fact I am not used to wearing a bustier. Fits well though and with the low back does not show at all in my strapless gown.

This garment just didn't fit me right. It was really hard to get into by myself and the cups didn't feel like they were big enough for me. I got a longline so that it I could have a strapless bra without it feeling like it was constantly falling down, but this just didn't work for me that way. The garment was of good quality and the service was great. I didn't appreciate having to pay over $8 to return it though..
Va Bien Response:
Ultra-Lift cups tend to fit full – it appears that you ordered the wrong size. It could have been that the cups were too small, or even that the back was too small which would cause the cups to draw in too tightly.

I purchased this bustier to wear under my wedding gown. I am short 5' 2" with a bit of a tummy ~165lbs This does a wonderful job at shaping it is a wonderful length it comes down low to cover my tummy. Worth every penny and the advice for going up in the band size and go down a cup size worked wonders for me. It is tight but its a bustier it's ment to be thats how it does its job it is still comfortable just everthing is in its place and is not going to move. Thank you HerRoom and Va Bien:)

Sadly I had to return this item. I need it for an upcoming wedding, so I followed the sizing suggestion provided and ordered a 42C instead of my regular 40D. I assume that the cup size was too small as they were pointy once I put the bra on. It was also too loose in the band. So I am exchanging this item for my regular size.(which is of course on back order) and will try it again.

Item is beautiful and seems well made but was way too tight, even going up a band size and down a cup size. I did manage to get it on and, even being way too tight, it was comfortable but caused bulges at the top. I am returning this item and hoping that goes smoothly. I already ordered replacement bra.
Va Bien Response: If this customer is size 42C, she could not have sized up in the band and down in the cup. The bustier is not available in 44B.

I followed the directions for picking my size, but it still didn't fit great and was very uncomfortable - After less then a minute wearing it I decided it was not right for me. Perhaps it's designed for the younger body - the sizing was pretty true but there's no way I could have worn it.
Va Bien Response: This is a firm control bustier which is designed to create an hourglass figure. Accordingly, you will feel tucked in.

The product was as expected. I did not order a size larger for the width. I am a 34 and have a tinny waist but curvy hips. If I had ordered larger, as some suggest, it would have been to loose so i'm glad I didn't. I'm a full B, sometimes a C even and the B cup is a little loose but will Work fine I suppose. I may put some gels in there. Overall a good product though I wish the cups fit. Its comfortable and very smooth. Will look classy with a white lace panty. I don't have much if a tummy but even still it is very slimming which I was really happy about for my fitted dress. Satisfied.

Bought this to wear under my wedding dress - the microfiber on the outside is a really nice departure from the usual satin on longlines. They say the cups run full and I found this to be true; I can usually get away with a C in a push up, but I went with B and that fits great. Not the "biggest" push up I've ever worn, but I can solve that with some cutlets :) I do definitely recommend going up in the band size if you have a tummy and/or hips. I'm 5'7", about 200lbs, and I normally wear a 38B, but ordered a 40B and 42B and ended up keeping the 42. I could hook the 40, but it was pretty darn tight. The 42 on the farthest hooks out still provides great shaping, but I can sit down and breathe! All very important since I'll be wearing it for an entire day!

It is an okay item, okay because it is as described, but after wearing it once the end of the boning popped out. I would reinforce those seams if I were the manufacturer.

Offers nice support and GREAT shaping. My only request would be that they offer A cups. I have a very large ribcage but realtively small breasts. The seamstress had to use an extender at the top for my chest and then take in the cup size. No one makes a 40A so I had to have it altered. The support of the cups and the shaping and length of this garment make it worth the alterations costs I incurred though. I am 5'8 and 180lbs.

I own an online lingerie store, but unfortunately do not sell Va Bien bras. I needed a bustier for myself and I tried every brand bustier out there, and none fit! The cups on all the brands I tried did not lay against my chest. I tried this Va Bien bustier and FELL IN LOVE!! It gives me an hourglass figure, and pushes the girls up giving beautiful natural looking cleavage. I highly recommend this brand.

I ordered this bustier knowing that it might be to big. Normally I wear a size 32b and the smallest size they offer is a 34b. Since the reviews on this bra are so great I wanted it to fit so badly, but sadly it was too big. I'm getting married and I want something to make my waist size consistent from the fittings to the wedding day. My waist size is an average of 25" I fluctuate 1" more or less, sometimes in the same day. So I need to make sure the bustier I get will be tight enough

I wear a 36-38, B-C cup (.depending upon style, make, etc) and love this. I followed other reviewers' advice and purchased the larger band size, 38, and smaller cup size, B. it fits perfectly. I will need a dresser, but that is to be expected with this design. It smooths the entire torso softly yet firmly and does not poke or chafe anywhere. No unfortunate bulges above or below and it smooths right through top of hips. Importantly, no bones pop out oddly when sitting down. I heartily recommend this. It is a fabulous shaping garment and i feel fabulous in it.

In firm control bustiers such as this style we recommend that ladies with a pear shape size up in the band and down in the cup. In this customer’s case she wears a 38D bra, so we would offer her the 40C bustier.

This item fit well, looked perfect under my dress, but was already falling apart when I received it. The material that wraps around the foam cups was pulling coming unraveled and pulling out of the stitching. Also, one of the hooks on back was pulling out of place. All before I even put it on! I can't imagine how it would hold up to wearing, let alone washing. Clearly not well constructed. So disappointing since it really did work under my dress.

I was given really excellent advice on this item by customer service. I had bought a La Perla SexyTown bustier and loved the comfort, but it wasn't long enough for my long torso. I was instructed to go down a cup size and stick with my band size, and this new bustier fit perfectly. By itself I found myself keep pulling it up, but it will probably stay put under my dress. A little more substantial that I was originally looking for, but still comfy! Just ask for for advice from CS- they are great and your best bet for a good fit

This bra is wonderful!!! The support is amazing and it provides a superior silhouette with no lines in my form fitting dress. I exchanged for a 38D to allow for comfort near my hips (they are wide and I have a long torso). I do recommend going up a band and down a cup for optimal fit.

A good strapless bra. I am tall and busty and this bra offers nice support and stays in place. It is shorter on the torso (on me) than in the picture, but comes slightly lower than my waist. My only complaint is that the cups are set a bit wide, so it "lifts and separates" instead of providing a "push-up" look. Follow the fitting guide!!!! I did and it was the right size on the first try.

The quality of this bra is great. I tried it on and wanted to wear it with my wedding gown, but for some reason it hurt my back and felt uncomfortable.
VaBien Response:
Thanks for your kind words about our quality. 1503 is typically high up on the comfort scale, so this sounds like a sizing issue – perhaps too tight. However, to a degree the garment is supposed to fit snug, since it is designed to create an hourglass figure. Although most customers do find the garment quite comfortable, perhaps a bustier is simply not for you and a bra paired with a control brief would be best. We would recommend trying our Ultra-Lift Perfect Strapless 1506, paired with our Smooth Couture High Waist Short, 632.

I ordered this bra for my sisters wedding. This was the third bra I had ordered. I cannot believe how hard it was to find a bra for a girl my size. I took the advise of many of the other reviews and went up a size in band and down a cup size. I normally wear a 40ddd so I ordered a 42dd. It was too big. I should have stayed with my regular band size and could have went down more in the cup size. A d for sure maybe even a c. I had to roll up two pair of dress socks for each cup and put them under my boobs to fill up the cups. Other than that the bra worked really well. I am wide threw the hips so I was surprised that the band size was too big. So I would suggest sticking to your regular band size unless you have a big belly, I am wide but not round, if that makes since. But I would go down 2 cup sizes if I had to do it again. I am 5'11 and it was plenty long enough. I hope this helps.

This item was very well made. That being said it was not flattering at all. I would recommend this for women with smaller busts. Wanted a bustier that will not show through my wedding dress, which is rather slim line, and this bustier fits the bill perfect. Its understated, classy look makes it a perfect fit for me. The fabric feels nice to the touch and the cut on me (I am about 5'8'') is just covering my "love handles" yet is not so long that it is not comfortable to sit down in. I followed the sizing advice in previous reviews and got one up in band size and one down in cup size, and even then the cups are a bit big. Shame. The cups are also not as rounded as I would like but a bit pointy. Overall though I would say it is a nice bustier and I look forward to wearing it at my wedding.

At first I thought this item would be great, but I was mistaken. When you sit down the wire digs into your sides. I would recommend going up a band size, but not changing cup sizes.
Va Bien Response: It sounds like in fact sizing down in the cup would have been the right move – if the wire is too long and extending beyond the bust, and into the side, the cup was too large.

It is comfortable but the the design adds a lot of space between the breasts because the cups point outward which is weird. Would not recommend this if you are looking for cleavage. Also I had to return the first one I bought and go down a cup size because it was so huge. I originally had the 42D and now have the 42C, it fits better.

Very Very Pleased! I have worn many many longline bras, and this by far is the absolute best. Quality construction, comfort and incredible fit. It looks great under dresses, or by itself for that matter. Yes, like other reviews have commented, it is difficult to put on; an assistant is certainly required. I don't see that as a big deal because this bra is not everyday wear by any means. Yes, and is tight at first, but does stretch to fit somewhat as it is worn. Having said that, I do recommend, as other reviews have, that a cup size smaller and a band size larger than what is typically warn is ordered for this particular garment. I am looking forward to wearing this item under my wedding gown . . . and maybe with nothing else afterwards.

The cups point outwards- east and west. It looks like my boobs are trying to get away from the center of my chest. Awful effect! This is because the "fingers" in the bra are pointed outwards and to the side. I cannot figure out how this would be flattering. Otherwise it is well made but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone

I ordered a cup size down and a band size up as recommended but the cups are too small. I'm pretty used to too small cups and my wedding dress has a tight bodice that will hold me in so I will deal but my breasts definitely overflow and the underwire doesn't fit against my torso. The band size is just fine. The boning isn't as seamless as I was hoping either, I can still faintly see it through my charmeuse dress. I am 5'5" and the length is a couple inches shorter than I need to cover my tummy bulge (my most worried about part). I will have to end up buying a second piece of shapewear to cover the lower part of my stomach and layer over the boning to cover it and hold me in better. I took a chance buying something online but next time will stick with a store where I can try on all the sizes and not wait a week in between each one.
Va Bien Response: CK, why should you be used to wearing too small cups? Today there are lots of brands out there that can provide you with the proper size cups! In this case, sizing up in the band was a good move, as you indicated that the bodice fits nicely ; however your starting point for the cup size was too small – you did not need to size down in the cup because you were already wearing a size too small. Regarding the length, most customers find that 1503 has quite a long stride (torso) measurement – longer than other bustiers on the market – and that it runs down to the hips, covering the tummy bulge. However, in the end it is a bustier, not a bodysuit, and if one’s torso is long enough, then pairing up with a control brief is required.

Item was not accurate to size.
Va Bien Response: One common fit issue with all bustiers is that on pear shape body types they fit tighter than desired around the midsection – this is because the bra band size, which typically measures around the mid-upper back, is not a measurement that will apply to the midsection. If you are a pear shape, we suggest sizing up in the band – and also down in the cup, to balance the fit.

Item runs small. Order one band size up and one cup size down for item to fit well..(as stated in other comments).
Item was a bit bulky under light colored clingy dress. You can see the seams and "magic fingers". Probably better under different materials and darker colors. The cups to this bustier were good support and flattering. Unfortunately could not wear under my wedding dress because of being able to see it through material.

I ordered this item to wear under my Mother-of-the-Bride dress. I had looked online for a front closure design with minimal success, but thought I'd try the back closure. It was nearly impossible. Most of us don't have (or want) an assistant to help us dress, so front closure long line bras would be so much more practical.

Very nice quality. Need to order larger cup size than you would normally wear---runs small, therefore it must be returned.

I accidentally ordered 2 back to back due to computer shutdown and emailed minutes after it happened and couldn't get the duplicate order canceled. So I ended up with 2 bras and having to pay to return the 2nd. But the bra is exactly what I was looking for and great quality it seems.

Does a great job minimizing a large chest area. The corset area isn't very supportive, but if you have a smaller figure you can probably be fine. Not very comfortable to sit in, but corsets never are.

I ordered this to go under my silk, sheath style wedding dress to add a little support for the strapless gown. I needed it to be invisible under the delicate fabric and dropped waist so the hemline didn't show through. The garment comes down the farthest on my hips of many I tried and even under my silk dress is nearly invisible! I have a long waist and am 5'7". The size was true to fit, possibly tending on the small side. I am typically between a B and C cup and I originally ordered the 34 B, which was too small. I returned it for the 34 C, which fits just right -but definitely NOT big! I'd err on ordering the bigger size, if in question between two sizes. Customer service on the exchange was great, and they were very timely. Over all, quality product, great for formal wear, and great service with Herroom!

For a bit better fit, I should have ordered a 40C instead of 38C (my standard size). I have a wide back. However, I am still very pleased with the overall fit and shaping. I'm ordering another one in 40C and keeping the 38C. I love the shaping. Exactly what I needed. It is the best fitting strapless bustier that I have ever worn. Really holds and shapes the girls!

I'm pretty happy with this bustier. I was hoping it would be a little longer. I'm 5'8", 123 lbs, and I usually wear a 32D or DD. The 34C fits on the tightest row, and the cups fit fine. There isn't as much "ultra lift" as I expected, but I'm actually pleasantly surprised rather than disappointed. I bought it to wear with my wedding dress, and it fits great with it. The back is low enough that it doesn't show on a pretty standard strapless. It's "seamless," but it's still a pretty bulky bustier. For my wedding dress, this is actually perfect. I needed something thicker to help fill out the size-too-big dress. However, I can't imagine I'll be wearing this again any time soon. I tried it on with other dresses I own, and they are all too thin; it's very obvious I have a thick bustier on. But, like I said, in the wedding dress you can't tell. It might help that my dress has sashes that cover the bottom of the bustier. Summary: 34C fits a 32D or DD, and it's great under a substantial dress. Anything slinky or thin... no way.

The cups are wide set so they won't show under low necks. The resulting shape is a little odd without any other coverage, but with clothing over it, the bra shapes me beautifully and is supportive. Doesn't slip or slide, even jumping up and down. I'm between a 34 and a 36, so ordered the 34. It's tight but not uncomfortable, though it does take an extra person to put on because hooking in the front and turning is a little harder with a long-line bra.

I gave this a 4 star rating only because I ordered my true size and the cups were huge (as others mentioned). This bra fits perfectly. It is incredibly comfortable and I really like the material- it isn't rough like some bras, and it works perfectly under my wedding dress. I sometimes wear a 42D but I'm glad I ordered a 40D- the 42 would have been way too big, so if you're in between sizes, order down.

My normal bra size is a 36D. I ordered this in both 36D and 38C based on recommendations from other reviews. The D cup was a little too loose for my liking. I wish I would have ordered a 36C also because the 38 is just a little loose in the body even on the tightest row.
This is a very comfortable long line bra for both sitting and long-time wear. It goes down far enough to prevent my lower stomach from pooching out. It doesn't slip down too much, and probably wouldn't at all if I had time to order a 36C and the money to tie up $150 in bras until the returns are processed. My only problem with it is that you absolutely cannot put this on by yourself. My fiance has had to be my substitute bridesmaid when trying it on at home, and we're "eloping" with no guests or attendants so he will have to put it on me before our wedding. But if it stays up after a whole night in Vegas it is well worth the hassle and the money!

This is a really well designed undergarment, but I found it somewhat uncomfortable and I wasn't happy with the fit and the way is squished extra flesh up into my armpit area. The cup size was correct, and so was the band size, but perhaps I'm just too fleshy for this particular design. I really liked the smoothing outer layer of material that camouflaged the boning contained within the inner layer. But once on--and I had to fasten the hooks and eyes in front and then spend about 5 minutes rotating the garment around correctly and straightening it--the underwire and cups seemed to ride too low on my chest wall/ribcage, and created a kind of fold in the cup. The side boning, when the garment was hitched up so the cups sat correctly, created a bulge under my arms that was very uncomfortable.
My normal bra size is 34DD, but because I'm so fleshy around the torso and have a belly, I went up a band size. I know it's not recommended for petite proportioned women, but I prefer a longline that comes over the hips, and this one actually was perfect in that respect. I was really hoping this would be a comfortable longline, but it just didn't work for me. I had to send it back, unfortunately.
VaBien Response:Thanks for the complement on design. This style might have worked out if sized up another band size and down a cup size. The bra would still fit, but the bulge around the underarm area would be alleviated.

This was the keeper for me. Its not as pretty as the lace ones, but does the job. Long enough to reign in the belly budge and high enough in the back to not create "back buldge" over the top. Its the most comfortable and the cups are the most natural looking.

This bustier is AMAZING. I'm 5'7", 150 lb -- not fat at all, but with some muffin top, not a super flat tummy, and not a super tiny waist. With this bustier, I now have a gorgeous, voluptuous, fit, hour-glass figure. I feel so sexy. For the amount of shaping and control it provides, this bustiers comfortableness is astounding. I could wear it all day. I tried it under some tight, form-fitting dresses, and it was invisible under all but a very thin white dress (I could see the bottom edge of the bustier). Also, I can now wear my tight skinny jeans that gave me too much muffin top. So excited!!

Where have you been all my life??? I have a drawer full of strapless bras that I might as well toss now that I have this one. Fits perfectly. Looks fabulous under very close fitting dresses that DON'T need any bulges or lines. LOVE this bra. I was concerned with paying this much for a bra, but glad I did. It was worth it. A lot of times 34B bras are a bit too generous, but this one is true to size and fits really well. I'm 5'3", so not a long waist, and it fits perfectly.

This was the perfect bra. I'm 5'7" 183 lbs Size 14 and I run between a 36DD and 36DDD. I ordered the 36DDD and it fit perfect. I was REALLY concerned about support. Being bigger on top I have never experienced "support" without straps before but this bra did it! The boning was well padded and strong. Did not show through the dress. Lifted and separated and gave the perfect hour glass shape. Sadly I had to send it back. Under the arms was just a bit too high for my wedding dress to hide. Then I ended up not even needing a bra per my seamstress. (Hard to believe for the bigger of breasts) Conclusion...If you are looking for support and something to hide your softer bits...I suggest this bra!

Outstanding fit and lift, I am full busted and had a plunging neck line. The Demi cup design is very sexy on and has stays in the cup to lift. Overall looked better than any other product. I did return another item that was similar and Her Room was very responsive. It gave me just what I needed on my wedding day. As a plus size, local department stores had absolutely nothing to meet my needs. I wanted a form fitting foundation long line bra. This particular item was much higher quality with comfortable padding where needed, strong clear straps and excellent lift. I wore it over a full slip with the garters out. Overall I was delighted with it, and it looked cute on, which was a plus for the wedding night. Would buy it again.

Read all of the reviews, but in the end ordered my regular size and the bra fits perfectly. With 3 sets of hooks you are able to adjust the fit where or if need be. I am 5'4" and I can sit comfortably without the boning poking me. It is very difficult to find a good-fitting strapless bra for my size; this bra fits well and is true to size. It is a 'lifting' bra, so it feels a little precarious until you layer something over it, but I think it will be comfortable and the boning doesn't show through my dress, which is wonderful.

I am getting married in about 2 months and had purchased another bustier after purchasing my wedding dress. With my profession I don't wear alot of strapless bras, so I just kinda went with the first thing I found. After trying on my dress a few times with my original bustier, I just felt that I needed more support. When I found this bustier, I hoped that it would provide me with the support I wanted. After getting in the mail only a week later after ordering it, I tried it on and it fit great, true to size!

This is by far the best strapless bra I've purchased. I bought it for a bridesmaid dress. It held the girls up and stayed where it should which I was beginning to think was impossible given my size and the claims made by the other brands I've purchased. I didn't have to adjust it at all during the evening. The only real con I can think of is that it's sometimes uncomfortable to sit in. The boning dug into my ribcage quite a bit but given the support it's something I'm willing to compromise on.

I loved the style- it had a sleek smooth fit. But, my normal size is 38DDD, yet the cups on this bra were too small. Since purchasing this item, I've gone to some local lingerie shops and have been told that often in long line bra's you have to go up a size in the cup and/or band for proper fit.

I've been a nervous wreck trying to find a bustier with less than a month till my wedding. Thank you Google for leading me to HerRoom. It was really helpful to read all the reviews before making a decision on the size. I decided to take a chance and ordered my regular bra size, and it fit great! My breasts didn't look like torpedoes with how many other bustiers did. I'm 5'4" 160 lbs size 11 jeans. I don't have a flat stomach, but I am curvy. I don't normally tell this so openly, but I want to be able to help others make the right decision especially when it's for a special occasion. I ordered this on 1/31 and it arrived 2/5. Which was faster than I expected considering I live on a rock. Anyway, the back was low enough for my strapless gown and gave me a good lift (gotta get used to the under wire, hurt a bit when sitting, if you don't adjust). I will be keeping this and looking forward to buying more from this site! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

LOVE this bra! I tried it on as soon as it arrived and it was very true to size. Very flattering, I love that I don't need to pull it up every few minutes. It's a little awkward sitting down in it but it's well worth purchase for the durable construction. I will be buying another one in black soon!

The bra is great. I took the advise from other feedback I read about this bra and it worked out perfectly. I am a very short (5'2") and normally wear a 36C. According to the feedback it seem recommended to purchase a cup size smaller as well as a size smaller around. It worked out perfect. The bra is perfect under my wedding dress. And it is very seamless. Fits perfect throughout. Have to be careful when lifting your arms up that you don't pop out. But I think the bra is very well worth it. I tried 2 different bra's from a different distributor before I purchased this one (they were more expensive). I think this bra is well worth the money. Purchase one now!

I have an unsusual bra size, and am usually unable to find a strapless bra that will actually have any support. I purchased the 36DD only to find that my breasts are much larger than the cups, and my 36 band size was too small for comfort in this. I would advise re-measuring your band and cup size before ordering, because when I did I found that, while I am a 36 band size, I'm a DDD cup.
HerRoom Response: There is no size fudging in a strapless bra. You have to have the right size, or it won't fit because there aren't straps to help. If you find a strapless bra that fits you well, chances are the size of that strapless bra will be your true bra size as well.

Overall, great item. The fact that the boning is set in material that is separate from the material that the garters are attached to is helpful in making it not feel like your stockings are pulling your bra down. It is just long enough to cover the tummy and love handles instead of sit on top like so many corset bras do. Size is a bit questionable. I normally wear a 36C or D but since so many people said it was usually too small I ordered a C. It fit okay, but with the way the cups are shaped to curve around almost on top of the breast when it was pulled tight to my body under my dress it created a bad line.

Loved this! Con's are that you really can't put it on yourself...so single ladies, you WILL need a friend to help you. Also, it can be very uncomfortable to sit in...very. Pro's are that it slims you and hold those babies right up there. I wore this for a Halloween costume party and had it on for 5 hours-I did not once have to adjust it to make sure they were being supported.

This bustier is very comfortable yet slimming. I found it to be true to size, or perhaps a bit smaller than I would like, but perhaps this is because of the way the cups lift and separate you--at this size I am more accustomed to minimizers. I definitely like the flattering fit and am looking forward to wearing it out under my dresses.

I just tried on, it feels comfortable and fits very good, maybe the cups are a bit large but that helps to give a slimming look, if you like your breast to look more "bulky", then ordering a smaller cup size could help. It moves with you, which is something very nice.

I have searched a long time for a strapless bra that would fit a full figured gal like myself and finally a strapless bra that holds the girls up well! Just make sure that the bra cup fits. I thought it ran a little big in the cups for this brand. Also if you are more fluffy, I would go up one in the number for this one. I was lucky. I guessed right about the number and it still fit and gave me a beautiful shape. My seamstress marveled that I could fill out the bridal gown well. This ultra lift longline performed wonders! And I feel it is very comfortable!!!

I originally purchased this in a 34DDD but found it to be so tight across my hips that I couldn't breathe. I also found the cup size to be a bit large but I am normally in between sizes so that wasn't much of a shocker. I really like this bra because it comes down longer than most of the other long line bras I have tried, preventing the reverse muffin top. The material is smooth, seamless and comfortable. I especially like that the cups are molded and the boning holds you up but doesn't prevent you from moving. If you are curvy make sure you pick a size that will accommodate your hips! I normally wear a 32 band but knew that would never work for the rest of me.

I bought this bustier for my fall wedding. It gives a great smooth line and is very comfortable. I found the cup to run large, because I normally wear a 38 C . I decided to go up to a 40 band and down to a B Cup, which worked well. The cup fit is different than most bras and doesn't lie flat against the body in all spaces but this gives you a great lift and full looking bust. Very happy with my purchase. The company has a great return policy but you do have to pay the shipping.

This fits terrific. My dressmaker advised that many torsolettes/bustiers can squeeze, pull, or cause bulges at the top & bottom. I'm a street size 8 (30" waist) with a 34D-36D bust and have a very hard time fitting into any bra. This fits very nice, slim through the middle & the cups hold my bust up rather than pull down. I ordered the 36D & it fit well. The boning is a little visible down the belly through the fabric of my dress, but I have boning in my dress & it isn't a visible deterrent in my case. I'm pleased to have a bridal white undergarment rather than the nude & the garter attachment is a sexy touch to a functional piece.

The best longline bra I have tried on so far. I originally ordered a size D cup (even though I usually wear DD) and it was still a bit roomy so I am trying with a C. The bra is of very nice quality and the fabric feels like it holds you up while feeling very smooth against your body. I tried it on under my wedding dress and there were no lines. Exactly what I was hoping for!

I wear a 32G and bought this bra in a 34ddd. Although it doesn't completely fit because it does not come in my size it fits pretty well. I like that the body part of the bra has two layers to keep it looking smooth. I am a little disappointed that the cups tend to point outwards instead of strait ahead.

I probably could have worn the 34DDD but, this size was so comfortable, and I really didn't need the "Scarlett O"Hara look. My gown shows every line underneath and this showed nothing but the tiniest outline at the base of the spine. I recommended it to my future daughter-in-law. This is the 7th bustier I purchased for my wedding! If it was the first I probably would have sent it back, but I am tired of looking and it is the closest to a good fit. The cup size and band size seem to run true. I does not do a lot for cinching my waist, but it does create a smooth line.

First - Great Service from HerRoom!
Secondly - A well made, quality bra. I really wish this bra worked for me - but I am very short waisted and the boning bent out slightly, so it wouldn't work for me in a form fitting dress.
I would definitely recommend this bra as long as you are average height or taller.

I have never bought a bustier in my life--I always thought I was too large in the bust. I purchased Va Bien 1503 out of quiet desperation! My daughter's wedding was looming and my mother-of-the-bride dress was hanging there. Calling on reinforcements to hook up the back (you can't do it yourself), I turned and looked in the mirror. I couldn't believe it. It fit like a dream. I ordered the exact size I always purchase and it was right on! The material makes you look several inches smaller, it doesn't ride up and it is comfortable. If this over-60 lady is happy, you will be, too. Ordering was simple and it arrived right on time. I highly recommend this to anyone who thinks they are too big to wear a bustier. You will love it.

I normally wear a 32DDD so I decided to try the 34DDD. The cups were way too big so I exchanged for a 34DD which works better. I'm going to wear this with two different bridesmaid dresses this summer, and I've had the hardest time finding something that works. I think this will be my best bet, though the cups go a bit high on the outside so I'm worried I'll be tugging the dresses up all night to keep that concealed.

The torso is very comfortable, but the bra cups provided a very weird fit. I have a small frame--am a 32DDD, and the cups seem to make my breasts separate to the sides with little cleavage. I bought the full figure va bien in a 32DD and although the torso is more uncomfortable with the boning, the bra cups gave awesome lift and cleavage--very sexy! i will return this one and keep the full figure one.

I bought this bra to wear with a bridesmaids dress, and also to have a decent strapless bra to wear with dresses.
It held up well through the wedding. It did ride up a bit, but perhaps this would not have been an issue if I used the garter straps. Also, the front center bone curves outward a little on its own, but once I was in a form fitting dress is wasn't an issue.
The cup boning is a nice feature, and I definitely felt that it helped things stay in a perky shape.
All in a all, it was worth the investment. I'm sure I'll get other great uses from it.

What a great bra!! I ordered this in time for my wedding and it was a comfortable fit under the dress. It is very slimming. I originally ordered a 38DDD and it was a bit small, so I had to go up to the 40DDD and it was a perfect fit. I think the product runs smaller than normal, because I have never worn a 40DDD bra EVER. But the 40DDD felt amazingly awesome! The boning isn't uncomfortable at all. HerRoom was really great when I returned my 38DDD. This bra stayed in place better than any other strapless bustier that I have ever worn. It didn't require any tugging through the day to stay in place. I have had difficulties with the boning in these bras (on the top, in the side) causing a great deal of discomfort due to rubbing as I moved, but this one did not do that nearly so bad. My only two concerns were that on the sides the cups came up too far. They stuck out of the side of my dress at the arm holes and had to be sewn down so they did not show as much. The boning in the front is also much more noticeable than the picture suggests and created a little bump in the front at the bottom that showed through the dress. However, this bra fit well enough that I will wear it again and wouldn't replace it unless I changed sizes. HerRoom Response: It sounds like you might need a cup size larger.

This bra is worth every penny I paid for it! I gave it 5 stars because not only do the cups hold you up (even at 42DD), the girdle section slims you very nicely and smooths out bulges. I personally look as if I have lost 20-30 pounds when I wear this. I originally purchased it to wear under a strapless bridesmaid dress, but will be wearing it often. The only thing I'm not crazy about is that, like most bustiers, someone else has to do all those little hooks for me.

I bought a black one to wear with a strapless, satin cocktail dress. its a little tricky to get in to, but really held up well. i wore it for about 9 hrs w/no drooping. I tried to wear it w/a cotton summer dress, and it didn't hold up as well. i think it works better with a firmer fabric. But still worth the money. Its good quality.

This foundation garment fits beautifully and thankfully is long enough in the torso. The layer that covers the boning is a very good feature, and the cups are just right. I wish there was a matching white strap (removable) instead of just the clear, but I am very positive about this item.

It is nice looking however the size wasn't perfect. I'm 5'7, wear a size 4 however I have a big chest. I've been fitted a few times at a lingerie store and was told many times that I am a 34DD. When worn strapless, the bra is extremely supportive, the ultra-lift design really gives you that extra "oomph" that a lot of strapless bras don't have. I love the microfiber covering, very soft and smooth. That being said, the only thing I didn't totally love about this bra is that it didn't smooth and control my torso as much as I'd like. There were some bulges I'd rather not see. I also liked the low back and the fact that it's low-cut in the front to accommodate a plunging neckline. All in all, quite happy with this bustier.

I bought this bustier in nude to wear under my wedding dress. It is super comfortable, comes down far enough over the hips to leave no lines or bulge, and is low-cut enough in the back to wear with my dress that has a low-v cut. It really supports well too! First off, thank you for getting me out of a bind and shipping this wonderful product to me so quickly! This is so wonderful. The cups run true to size and the fabric is velvety smooth. The boning does not show through, so it worked wonderfully under my wedding gown. I really liked the clear straps because they gave me a little more confidence. They weren't necessary for the garment to stay up, though. It's very well constructed and I would recommend it to every bride. Thanks again!
