The fabric/shape wear part is pretty good but the underwire popped through on the first wearing and the plastic hook that attaches the strap broke (the first time I wore it.. AT AN EVENT). Long waisted so the boning pokes you all night.
HerRoom Response: Your comments sound like you would have benefited from being in a larger size. Unfortunately, your size is the largest it is made in.

I love it. It makes my tummy flat. It hides my love handles I can wear plunging neck lines. The straps come off so I'm not limited to one style. It's also low in the back.

Please pay attention to this review if you are PETITE. I ordered this item in exactly my size (32 DD/E) and tried it on. While it fits perfectly in the cups and waist, and really holds my large (natural) breasts up, this garment hangs uncomfortably low in the crotch (even with the adjustable crotch), lays low on the leg openings (causing it to cut into my thighs), and raises up way too high on the sides (causing the cups to cut into my armpits -- which not only shows under my dresses, but is also terribly uncomfortable and awkward). When I went to return it, the customer service representative send that this particular Va Bien item is made with an especially long line. I am 5'2''. If you are also petite, consider avoiding this item. That said, I would have kept it if I were much taller. The "magic fingers" really do hold your breasts up. But, really, this item was very, very TALL!

This takes me down at least one dress size and is reasonably comfortable. I got it for a wedding but now I wear it under all my special-occasion dresses.

Made a couple of dresses wearable that otherwise wouldn't be ... nips and lifts ... but the 'plunge' needs an option to pull it closer together for some styles.

This is a GREAT briefer. I searched online for 3 weeks before finding this one. I wore it with a VERY low plunge Halloween costume (Elvira). It lifted well and had great support. I also love the fact it has removable straps that can be used halter style or criss-cross back. I highly recommend it. It was a true 34E. The torso is generous so if you are long waisted that is a plus. It has a hook and eye closer in the crotch with several rows for the exact fit needed.

Although the bra portion seemed to fit as it should, the center was cut in such a way that my breasts just drooped down into the space in between the cups (not flattering).

The only foundation garment I could find that worked with my gown. It provides good support and firm stomach control. I wish it were available in a larger cup size, however, I can make do with this. (I generally wear a 32F or 32G). I would have liked more shaping power on the sides. The boning is a bit uncomfortable. I am a petite person, and although the garment is a little long for me, it still works. The bra pushes my breasts farther to the sides than I like. Despite these shortcomings, the shaper supports me well and allows me to wear virtually any dress no matter how low cut in the front or back.

The product was beautifully packed and it look just as expected it to look...the only problem I had was that the size I order was made for a shorter torso.

This was not low enough in the back for my V-back wedding dress, so I returned it. Also, it does not offer much tummy control. When you sit it jumps away from the body. It says it can be strapless but without straps it would not stay up very well in my opinion. Good if you want some support and push up in the bra area but have a dress that is low in front.

This was the only thing I could find that worked under my low-back, halter wedding dress. It worked perfectly! Couldn't see it through my dress like some lace shapewear, and it's pretty comfortable.
The hook-eye closure in the crotch isn't the easiest thing to get back together, and started to dig a little after having it on for 5+ hours. Wear "comfy" panties underneath it, and I don't think you'll have that problem.

Works great under a plunging V-neck wedding dress that also goes fairly low in the back. Fairly comfy, sucks you in and lifts the girls (I do recommend making the straps shorter.) I was afraid the cups wouldn't be supportive enough, but found that the dress + this is more than enough. For extra security, I added some of the double-stick dress tape to keep the girls in place.

I was concerned about this item because I am petite but a 32C bust. I was afraid it was going to bunch up around the middle and/or the crotch would hang down to my mid thighs. I will say that the torso is a little long but not so much so that it shows under your clothing. It actually looks very smooth under clothing and the dress I bought this to go under (a very low plunge dress) actually looks better with this under it. It smooths the mid-section of your body so you don't have any lumps.

I like that it has a full back, no cutting lines from a thong cut. It works with my low back, halter neck wedding gown perfectly.
The hook and eye crotch is great in theory, but pretty difficult to get back together; I think if the hooks and eyes were switches around it might be easier to maneuver.
