great fabric; fits around roomie; but the cups came a good 4-5" below my breasts. There was no give in fabric for torso length. Lots for around but no length and I do not have an extra long torso.
HerRoom Response: A bodysuit is always a bit of a challenge since it requires several of your measurements to fall within the range. Your 48C is at the top of the size range and if you have a significant tummy, this would be why the torso was not long enough.

Unfortunately this maker uses the shortest straps possible.
You cant even get over shoulder unless your breasts are under you chin. I had forgotten why I didn't want that brand anymore. I am having new longer straps attached.
HerRoom Response: You are correct that the straps do not have full adjustability.

Pluses: hard to find large size briefer; seamless cups; inner "slings" support w/o irritation; BEST no-slip straps EVER.
Minuses: had to clip out wires, which poke underarm; seam at inner top of cups starts pressing down after a few hours. VERY firm.
HerRoom Response: Your symptoms sound like you need a larger cup size.

Currently wearing it right now and I need a second one! I love this product and this is the best shaper I’ve ever gotten. I’ve tried about 6 different styles on other websites. I heard about it from my mom who is plus size and it fit her so well, so it’s for all sizes. The minimized bra is a plus! I love this, would definitely recommend.

The body suit/shaper I ordered was just as I ordered it. I wish there was no underwire, but I can remove that. I wish the legs had lace elastic because lace is more forgiving and flexible. Otherwise I works for me. And I especially love the thicker straps at the shoulders.

Although the 2 other Va Bien bodysuits I ordered in a 38C fit well, this one in a 38C was much too large. It fit like it was a least one, if not two, sizes too large. I'm returning it for the Va Bien Firm Bodysuit.

Biggest issue for me with this item is that the crotch snap is backward from all other bodyshapers I've worn. I didn't realize this until the first day I wore it. Big mistake on my part. It went directly to the trash. The material has very little "give" and did not do the good job that I had hoped it would.

I feel this was 60.00+ wasted. The top half of the garment is fine, but the bottom half is awful. The straddle part is way too long. I read some of the other reviews that said it was, but since I'm 5'8" I thought it would be okay for me. I noticed that herRoom always responds saying the problem was that the woman was short and needed a petite size. That's not the problem. It's like it needs to be cut apart and sewed back together about 2 inches shorter. And, the front pulls up so that the garment doesn't cover your lower pelvis area. If you try to wear this under a form fitting skirt or dress it's going to look horrible. I tried it on over my panties when it arrived and thought it might be okay. By the time I got home from work the next day, I was very unhappy. I had to keep pulling the bottom of it down to cover my pelvis. Some of the other items might be okay, but I do not recommend this one.
Vabien Response: So sorry that you had this experience with our product. Please note that someone can be taller than average – 5’8” in this case – and still have a short torso. This is called being “leggy” – which is a good thing! Va Bien bodysuits have a very long stride which is a wonderful feature for many women out there – but for those with short torsos, a Va Bien control brief paired with a bra is a better option. Try pairing style 3766
and 1510.

This item fits me, but I was disappointed that the seat is cut so high. There is a good bit of tugging after walking or sitting.

Va Bien bodysuits are designed with a longer than average stride, so petite customers sometimes find that extra fabric bunches up. We recommend that petite ladies go for a bra paired with a control brief rather than a bodysuit.

The body length is too short, and I am only 5'4". The cup size and shape are wrong - not allowing ample room for the breasts and making them an odd shape. The width is perfect - just tight enough to provide support and smoothing. Overall, I am very disappointed in the purchase.
VaBien Response: Most customers find that the stride (body length) of 1191 – and most of our bodysuits – are longer than average. It sounds like the size that you tried was too small.

It was just so short on me. I'm 5'10 but very short waisted. I wish the Va Bien 1190 was still available, which I notice is longer waisted AND soft cupped. I returned them and am going to try something else - off to go look, I guess. Maybe the 1192 (which a customer says does not have adjustable bra straps, but the details section says it does) , 1292 (looks too short in the back, though) or 1260, but I really don't like the under wire. Bring 1190 back!!!!
VaBien Response:Glad that you like 1190! That style seems longer than 1191 because it has no underwire. It is not anchored as securely around the bust, which allows the garment as a whole to stretch farther vertically. Overall, Va Bien bodysuits do run longer than the industry average.

If you want a true control garment, accept no substitutions...this is the real deal. I am small-busted, but all my weight goes to my middle, and I have had trouble with clothes looking decent all my life because of it. But when you wear this garment, you will honestly be able to wear things that normally make you look awful. You don't jiggle anywhere...you're so controlled, you CAN'T jiggle. I would never be without my Va Bien. Only my mom and sister know what an unfortunate figure I really have.

Good quality, feels good to wear. The back end covers me completely, although (due to my belly) if the lower torso was 2" longer it would be perfect. A hook & eye extender works to give me a little extra room so it doesn't pull down.

This briefer would be so good IF the crotch hooks were not so far away. Bring the leg openings down and bring the under arm-back area higher. The cups need to be better contoured. As we get older we need more coverage to get the under arm back fat controled...not popping over. Or our belly out the leg openings. Anyone listening.
HerRoom Response: Thank you for your feedback. You state that you are tall. Unfortunately, bodysuits are designed to fit an average height person. This is why you are having fit issues.
Va Bien Response:
YES, WE’RE LISTENING TO YOU, SANDRA! THANK YOU FOR THE FEEDBACK. ONE OF THE CHALLENGES IN DESIGNING BODYSUITS IS ACCOMODATING WOMEN OF DIFFERENT HEIGHTS WHILE SIZING ONLY BY BRA CUP. THIS IS ESPECIALLY TRUE REGARDING FIRM CONTROL BODYSUITS SUCH AS THE STYLE YOU TRIED, WHICH WILL ONLY STRETCH SO FAR. WHILE THE STRIDE OF OUR BODYSUITS IS LONGER THAN THE INDUSTRY AVERAGE, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT FOR SOME TALLER, FULLER WOMEN, THE GARMENT WILL BE TOO SHORT, LEAVING THE LEG OPENINGS TOO HIGH AND THE UNDER ARM SECTION TOO LOW. VA BIEN BODYSUITS FEATURE THREE HOOKS IN THE GUSSET SO AS TO ACCOMMODATE DIFFERENT LENGTH TORSOS AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. SORRY TO HEAR THAT THE STYLE DID NOT WORK FOR YOU, AND HOPE THAT YOU FIND ANOTHER THAT SUITS YOU BETTER. PERHAPS A STYLE WITH LEGS, SUCH AS OUR VA BIEN 1192, WOULD WORK BETTER AS IT WOULD SOLVE THE LEG OPENING PROBLEM.

As being 5'8" and overweight by 30 pounds, the garment is not made for a larger proportioned lady. It needs to be longer in body, higher on the sides underarm and back to control the older back fat.

This is the only underwire body briefer I can find; the straps are too long and the adjustment part of the strap slips and does not stay in place; the body of the briefer seems a little wrinkly and does not fit as well as the last one I purchased in a size 44DDD. I have lost weight and went down one size; however, I think that the body briefer should have more support and have a strap that adjusts better than the one I have.

i may have a longer torso than most, but i have to keep pulling the body suit up so the underwire is under my breasts and not 3 inches below below them, and then the the panty part goes up my rear even more than already does. but when the wire is in place, it does have good support, but the panty part is too uncomfortable. If you have a small rear and short torso, it may be great for you.

I would like this to come in a larger cup size than DDD; also, I thought it didn't fit tight enough in the body and at the bust and am worried that a 42DDD will be the right fit in the body but too small in the cup. I also did not like the fact that the panels in the front above the crotch are loose rather than sewn to the bodysuit. Unfortunately, it's the only choice of garment that I have with an underwire that comes close to fitting me. I will probably purchase another one in a 42 DDD, but again, I'm worried the cups will be too small.
