After reading the reviews I decided to go up a band and cup size. The band was a good call, the cup size was not. I will exchange for a smaller cup.

Great fit for large chest and small breasts. I've tried a lot bra's in the same size and nothing fits as well as the Timpa Duet Lace. (Padded and non-padded version.) Padding is just right, not a pushup but the Demi cups show off the braests well.

I ordered one band size up based on the unlined mesh version. This model dies not run as small and the 36A was too big. Recommend ordering your usual size.

I ordered one band size higher than I normally wear as recommended and this fit very well. Very pretty bra with nice lift. Cups are shallow with just barely enough coverage. Overall, great bra for those with a smaller chest.

The cups were gaping - i've ordered other timpa bras and did not have this problem. I even tried tightening the straps, which didn't help. I liked the design, it's beautiful and comfortable! And the color - light pink!
Timpa Response: Perhaps you should consider trying style 16449 - Timpa Duet Lace Underwire Demi Bra . It is the non-padded version of this bra with a stretch fabric to help take the shape of the breast.

I am petite woman with a broad back. I ordered this bra in both a 38B and a 38C because the Tomima Tip mentioned that the cups ran shallow-- she wasn't kidding! The 38B had my areolas half exposed and the 38C didn't cover much more. I had "bubbling" over the top of the cups. I looked to see if this bra comes in a 40B, but the 38C is as big as it gets. In addition to the shallow cups, the band itches, the lace on the cups itches, and the straps are narrow. So I have returned these bras Tomima, and I will be looking at the demi and balconette bras to solve my bra fitting dilemma per your experts' advice.
HerRoom Response:You will achieve the same support and fit by going down a band size and up a cup size. A size 38C will give you your same desired look and fit as a size 40B. Please refer to our video on Mastering the Cup Size Game to learn more about choosing your appropriate bra size.

I thought this bra would fit me well being that the cups are supposed to be shallow, but they ended up gaping a LOT. I even tightened the straps as far as they would go and there was still gaping at the top of the bra. Also, there was hardly any padding in the bra and I find it hard to believe that it's being marketing as having enhancing properties. Sadly, going to have to send it back. That said, I think this bra would be better for someone with larger or less shallow breasts.
HerRoom Response: Unfortunately some Demi and Plunge style bras do not work well for women with shallow breasts. Please take a look at our Petite Bras section for a style with a little more coverage.

Highly recommended for small-breasted 125-pound women who have nursed two children.
However, the fit is unusual, so please read on. When I found this bra in black at a store in California, I was thrilled to have a bra that was so perfectly fitting and so flattering. I am a size 32, between an A and a B, and this one fit me in 32B.
Then I got home and ordered the nude from Herroom. It seemed a bit big, so I then ordered it in 32A. The cups seriously gap in the A, making it seem even bigger than the B (though in fact a comparison of the bras themselves shows the B to be bigger). I am sticking with the B, hoping that after a gentle hand wash it will soften and form to me like the black one.
Bottom line: different colors may fit differently and if the cups gap you may want to try going UP a size.

Very cute and sexy bra! Fits comfortably (I did not need to order up as advised--I think the next size would have been too large). Not perfect for under a t-shirt, as the cups are fairly thick and would make a line in the shirt.

I really like this bra. I am 5'4", 125 lbs, and have nursed two kids. I measure at a 30C, but the 32C works for me (the 32B was too small). I really like the way this fits - it works really well under a v-neck tank I have that I always felt like I was pulling up before. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the material is a little scratchy, but it's not bad. The shoulder straps are a little wide on me, but it doesn't get in the way of the bra being comfortable and working well. Even with the lace, it works well under t-shirts for me.

This was so uncomfortable I had to return it. The mesh Timpa bra I also ordered was an excellent fit. The cups gapped a lot and were spaced too close together. The underwire was dragging my skin along with it. So it looked bad, felt horrible. Too bad, a pushup bra for petite sizes that is not overly padded is hard to find.
Timpa Response:The “mesh” is a strech lace, which forms to your body, this is why you feel more comfortable. The ½ cup padded has no stretch, I would recommend sticking to the stretch bra.

OK, I know I am barely a 36 A, and should be used to bras not fitting, but this bra was SO off the mark. The cups were huge and very stiff...not just gaping at the top, but could have doubled as my lunchbox. I also think that this bra was in general not suited for my frame as the cups were too close together. The Timpa non-padded lace bra fits me just fine.
Timpa Response:The cups on this bra are designed to give a lift, therefore they are slightly closer together to achieve this look. Also, because it is a molded bra, there is little or no “forgiving room” therefore I would suggest you stick with the demi, since it molds and adapts to all different shapes easily.

I agree with a previous comment, if only this bra could fit as perfectly as the non-padded version! The fit is a bit looser (perhaps of the stiff cups?) However, it is still very pretty and fits decently.

Timpa makes gorgeous, sexy bras. If only they'd add a little more material to the cup. This one has slightly more coverage than the non-padded version, but still not enough to keep the girls covered! Just 1/4" more fabric, Timpa, and I'll buy your bras. HerRoom Response: IF you want a little more coverage, our recommendation is to go up to the B cup size. It will fit and give a little more coverage.

The only bra that I've tried on that doesn't give me 'standing space' at the top - because it is so low cut. I don't look like the model, but at least it fits and is comfortable. I would recommend this product - washes well and doesn't stretch out.

Acceptably comfortable for a cute bra. The padding/form does it's job to prevent show but is not excessive. Not the perfect T-shirt bra because of the lace though.

I have this bra in a 36A. The fit is a little larger in the cup area than the lace version without the padding. I like this bra because it does not show nipple protrusion under certain tops. But if the cups were made to fit like the unpadded lace demi, then it would be a perfect bra.

The padding on this bra was so thin, I would not consider it a padded bra. It did not do anything to enhance a small figure like mine, like I would expect from a padded bra. The cups were also uncomfortably stiff.
