I love the long nightgown, but the armholes are not long enough. I find that it when I turn on my side, the armhole almost cuts into my under arm. I will add a piece of cloth to widen the armhole. I know the gown is also made for mother’s who are nursing, but the buttons are a bother. I will remove the buttons and sew a straight seam. Other than those two items, it is fine. The armhole in the gown should be either wider or longer, it is not a blouse. Linda from United States

Although I am not a "nightgown" person - I frequently sleep in a comfortable t-shirt - I love this gown, and it has been perfect for a warm climate. I have had it for 3 years and plan to order another one to make sure I have it if and when the first one wears out! I returned this gown in a small, but it was way too long. I thought if I got the petite it would be fine, but then it was too tight around my arms, so I gave up and just returned the item. I love the other two I did purchased and really wanted a night gown with a matching robe. These items are elegant...wanted them...size and length is a problem.

They just don't make them like this anymore. The stitching is very strong and beautiful. The cotton is the perfect sleep weight - soft but not too sheer. The length for me is perfect but I am 5'10. It drapes over the bust in a way that is modest but flattering (I'm 34C) whereas some nightgowns can drape in a way that over emphasizes the bust. I don't feel matronly in this because the neckline is low enough to be feminine and elegantly sexy without cleavage. I'm buying my second one after 4 years because I did finally rip it accidentally. This is a lovely simple, but feminine nightgown. The material is comfortable against the skin, like a soft cotton sheet. It is the perfect weight for sleeping in a warm climate. .Love this gown. The design is wonderful - I love the hemstitching/open work. The fabric is quite sturdy - it will no doubt last for years. Vendor Response: The Poinciana gown in Thea is their #1 selling gown. You mentioned you are petite and 5'. This gown is a 51" long gown so it would be touching the floor for someone 5'. I was hoping to get this opportunity! LOVE LOVE LOVE IT!!!!! I am not a nightgown person but wanted a lounging, flowing gown for the summer. It is true to its descrlption; I am 5 feet nothing and it goes down to my ankles but I will not trip on it. It is roomy (100" hem circumference) as described and is SOO comfy. It is a little stiff but for cotton, that will not last long. I'd buy more right now if I could so that there would always be one to grab! But I must wait. One thought: a little too perfume-y just out of the package and still after one gentle washing. One more should do it. I am so happy with this nightgown.
